“Ah~….A player. How I have longed to dissect one of you.”

Herold The Thaumaturge, 56 years old, male. A renowned Evoker, doctor and scientist at the House of Siegmund in the western dark forest. A reclusive, sadistic and off-putting man, who is married to two masters: Science and the glorious empire.

He studies a variety of creatures, from the meek villager to the repulsive phantom, but his greatest wish is to get his hands on the most enigmatic creature of all: A player.

[ Virage curses, struggling against the tightening of sand- no... Glass. Crushed glass that slowly embeds its small shards deep into her body- some chunks are larger than others, causing her to hiss in pain and caused her struggling to get worse. ]

"Unhand me you- !"

[ Her eyes widen. Althea stands before her. A look of Pity on her face as she stares at her mother, entombed in the slowly tightening glass. Virage wheezes out. ]

"Althea- Please... Help me."

[ Silence hovers over the crackling of soul fire, before the cleric tightens her fist, that look of pity turning to venomous contempt. Virage screams as the glass shoves itself into her further. ]

"I'm going to fucking skin you alive."

Decided to try a slightly different ghoul design... gave 'em jackal ears because the ancient Egyptians saw jackals as guardians of cemeteries (and also ouppy). This association led to me subconsciously copying Yami Yugi's outfit though oops again

The references describe the style of clothing of the illagers, but translation is not necessary, since their appearance is right in front of you. I also drew a ravager. I decided that it would suit him to be something like a manticore
