AUGHHHHHH the unyielding urge to redesign Lucifer and Adam from HH cause what.
I've heard Adam's design is 'good' and it's supposed to be simple because he was the first man and is supposed to look like the average guy.
But I will ignore that if/when I redesign him because that is stupid.
It also goes in the topic about how HH romanticized Christianity in the show (a problem most shows have when they depict Christianity but I digress)
The reason it especially annoys me when hazbin is in question is because HH and HB want to focus a bit more on the characters and lore of the bible. And instead of trying to depict it correctly they just choose to romanticize it.
You hear this argument a lot with Greek myth as well. The Greek gods were assholes, so don't romanticize their actions PLEASE. (Ex: Disney's Hercules)
But the difference between Hercules and HH is that Hercules was always supposed to be a family friendly movie. While HH is of course ment for mature audiences.
Which means there's no reason to romanticize it like they did. And when I mean 'romanticize' I mean generally how they depicted heaven with all the pastels and how the cherubs are depicted in HB which all dials down to the art direction.
Also what they did to Saint Peter. Unforgivable.
If it's meant for mature audiences I'd also like to see a more mature representation of the Religion you're depicting.
Also the plot doesn't really make sense when you think about it? Like purgatory is right there?? Please acknowledge your source material lol????
It honestly shocks me cause all this time the purgatory hasn't been mentioned ONCE in the show. So does it even exist??
And if it doesn't... Well, that's just stinky writing-
And for the 'romanticizing' of Christianity (in the art direction more specifically), they could've done that. However in that case they shouldn't have focused so much on religion??
If heaven was only going to be mentioned here and there then sure you could do that. But if you're going to focus SO MUCH on it and going to make it so important to the lore then please treat it with respect?
And with Lucifer- I mean, that just shows how little the writers actually care about depicting the source material semi-accurately.
You give me the literal personification of evil and make him an uwu short king with depression.
I mean that just leads me to think Lucifer is really pathetic as a character when you know a thing or two about him in the bible.
When Lucifer TRICKED Eve into taking the fruit, he wasn't doing it to give her knowledge or something. He was doing it because he wasn't supposed to, because he wants to screw Adam and Eve over. Because he's bad.
I get that's whole thing about HH's Lucifer but still. Lucifer is not HH's character. He's much more than just a character at that.
And that type of approach is also in all honesty pretty disrespectful. You took the being that ruined humanity, that screwed it over, and turn him into... Whatever you call HH's Lucifer.
Like- I mean- Look at these two people and tell me they're supposed to be the same character
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Lucifer on the right looks intimidating and hateful while also being beautiful. Lucifer was the most beautiful angel so that makes sense. Not to mention the Lucifer on the right looks like someone who could kill you in a second.
Whilst the Lucifer on the left is a short, skinny, blond uwu-ass boy. I could take him a fight smh.
And yeah, short people aren't that intimidating I said it. I mean, I wouldn't be scared of my foe if they're the size of an eight year old-
Also, no, I'm sorry but this isn't intimidating at all
Tumblr media
It's such an easy fix too. Just make him a bad but helpful character. Make him rude, let him do terrible things and be sadistic, that's the whole point of Lucifer. However, make situations where he has to help Charlie, not because he cares, but because he's too prideful to be made a fool of by heaven.
BOOM! A good way to make Lucifer an actually decent anti-hero of sorts.
Not to mention Lilith isn't an actual character in Christianity. She's only a character in Jewish Religion. Which is like- Yikes-
Please do not mix religions when interpreting them in a media, because that is really easy to do wrong and it's just generally something you shouldn't do.
Now keep in mind:
THIS IS JUST MY OPINION AND MY CONCERNS ON HAZBIN HOTEL. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO AGREE WITH A WORD I SAY.
If you like Hazbin that's genuinely awesome! I'm glad you found something you enjoy, continue doing that!! And honestly everything I say is just the art of adaptation.
These are just my personal takes that I can't keep to myself since I'm the type of person that can't keep shit in her head and has to voice everything-

Speculation Station: Eve is Lute
I have an idea for the Eve is Lute theory. Since Lucifer gave Eve the apple and in turn Lucifer and Lilith were punished, I think Heaven gave Eve a pass.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She didn’t know how to resist temptation and was manipulated into taking the apple. If Heaven blamed her, she would have been cast into Hell alongside them, but there is no mention of Eve in Hell.
Heaven deemed Lucifer a troublemaker because of his grandiose ideas.
Tumblr media
They believed he was going to threaten the order of their world long before he had given humanity free will. They were waiting for a chance to banish him.
With this one action, that’s when the higher ups decided to get rid of him and Lilith who was alive.
Don’t forget that she was there at the time Lucifer gave Eve the apple. Lilith hadn’t died yet. By banishing her to Hell, Heaven had basically killed her, if you really think about it.
So what of Eve? She was left out of the sentencing in the origin story.
Tumblr media
Yes, you could point out that Charlie wouldn’t know what happened since Lucifer and Lilith were banished before Heaven dealt with Eve.
But if she ended up in Hell, Lucifer would know. So, the blame for the original sin was placed on Lucifer and Lilith rather than Eve.
It would absolutely make sense if Eve was put on probation. Heaven kept a careful watch of her during her tenure on Earth. Even while she had free will, Heaven considered her worthy enough.
Unless purgatory exists in the Hazbin universe and we have yet to see it. Sera mentions divine judgement and that it doesn’t happen in Heaven, since she doesn’t know how souls get to Heaven.
Nor does she mention knowing how divine judgement works. If it was this all holy process, she would brag about how it happens as she and Saint Peter bragged about how great Heaven is.
But I digress, unlike the actual Bible, there’s no mention of Eve offering Adam the apple.
If she thought eating the apple was something worthwhile, she would have also given it to Adam. So, instead of spreading sin, she kept it contained.
There isn’t any criteria that we know of for humans to get into Heaven after death.
Hazbin may possibly be going the Lucifer (The Fox turned Netflix series) route in terms of redemption. If you have seen the series, you know what I mean.
I’m going to go into more detail in another post, but as of now there are a few possibilities (none confirmed, just speculation):
Resolution of guilt
Self satisfaction (you don’t believe you did anything bad in life)
Selflessness (You live your life to better others lives)
Someone else is punished for your sin in your place
Those are only a few things I could think of as of now. I’ll explain later.
Now, onto why I think she’s most likely Lute. Lute considers sinners to be irredeemable, which may be her projecting. She is so disgusted by herself for falling for Lucifer’s ploy to get her to eat the apple. She tries to separate herself from who she was on Earth.
So, she prides herself on the fact she can combat the evil that stemmed from Lucifer’s tricks. She tries to be the best at it. Both her and Adam have this Holier Than Thou attitude, and I don’t think that’s only because they got into Heaven.
I think she’s fond of the exterminations because she’s getting revenge against Lilith, the woman who helped sew the original sin into the Earth. Lute gets to take from her because she believes Lilith tainted her.
Lute is extremely spiteful. She hates the fact sinners caused so much pain on Earth and get to live relatively consequence free in Hell.
So the exterminations combat that. She wholeheartedly supports the event year after year.
Lute still displays the behaviors that would come with eating the forbidden fruit.
In life, she wasn’t held accountable and Lucifer went to Hell in her place. After passing judgement, she got to revert back to her normal self. She displays the behavior of a sinner.
Lute is judgmental, prideful, and egoistic just to name a few — she may not have every characteristic, but it’s enough to be considered for Hell.
(Like what did that child Vaggie spared even do? Are there kid checklists like if they like steal a toy they go to hell?)
Lute has motivations other than just believing that since she is an angel, it’s her duty to keep Hell’s population low. Outside of that one reason, this seems personal to her. It makes sense for the reason for this is that she was Eve.
Tumblr media
Lute sticks close to Adam, doesn’t mind that he gets to be with other women as long as he’s happy, and even after the exterminations they’re still seen together, so it’s deeper than a working relationship.
Eternity is a long time, it makes sense that they would experiment.
Tumblr media
I felt that I had to mention this since this is a large part of why I began to think Eve was Lute, but that’s not the main basis of my theory. It’s Lute’s actions so far and how she remains adamant to keep killing sinners and firmly believes that Hell is where they’re meant to be.
Lucifer was the sacrifice for Eve’s entrance into Heaven.
She pins the blame on him, as does Heaven. Eve never had to show any qualities of goodness, and puts the responsibility of being an exterminator on herself as some sort of penance.
Or she just enjoys murder.
She doesn’t show any sign of guilt, only malice and a feeling of superiority so far.
There are a lot of holes in this, but hey, I’m just throwing this out there. Maybe some of it will be right or all of it will be wrong. Only time will tell.

Hi, I'm a university student, woman, carmelite, consecrated to Our Lady according to the method of Saint Luis Maria of Montfort. Please, could you pray for me fiding a relationship that is totally align with the chastity principles for lay members, if it is God's will?
I had to lie to someone saying I was taken when I'm not, in order to keep the chastity principle and to avoid this person keeping any hope and keep insisting, but I don't like lying, and I'm a bit afraid of the consequences of this lie. Please, could you pray for me?
(Also, saying the religious reasons could have hurt the person, so it was better to simply say "I already have someone").
May God Bless you ✝❤
I have to admit, that I don't fully know bout the chastity principles for lay members. But I will be praying for you. And I have included some prayers under the read more that you may find useful. Feel free to modify them where you see fit.
A prayer to find a spouse
All-good and merciful Lord, I know that any enduring happiness in my life dependeth upon my wholehearted love for Thee and upon keeping Thy commandments and obeying Thy Holy Will in all things. Wherefore, direct my steps, O God, and fill my heart with Thy Grace. I seek to please Thee alone, for Thou art my Creator and my God. Preserve me from pride and self-love. Let reason, modesty, and chastity adorn me. Deliver me from idleness which is hateful unto Thee and breedeth vice; grant me to be diligent and fruitful in labor, and bless thou my work. Thy law commandeth that husband and wife live in chaste matrimonial union. Wherefore lead me, Holy Father, to this blessed calling not for the satisfaction of the passions but unto the fulfilment of Thy commandment; for Thou hast said that it is not good that man should be alone and, having created woman as his companion, Thou didst bless them to be fruitful and multiply that they may fill the earth. Hear my humble prayer which ascendeth unto thee from the depths of my heart: Grant unto me an honest and pious spouse that, through our love and harmony, we nay together serve and praise Thee, our compassionate God, and do Thy will and bless Thine all-holy name, of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
A prayer of single persons
O Lord, who hast set forth for us an example of perfect purity, strengthen me, I beseech Thee, when temptation doth beset me, and when strong passions seek to overwhelm me, that I may remain constant in virtue and innocent in thought, word, and deed, doing only such things that are well pleasing to Thee. Grant me growth in wisdom and understanding, that I may serve Thee in holiness all the days of my life, through the intercessions of Thine all-immaculate Mother and of all Thy Saints, especially my Patron Saint [name]. Amen.
A prayer for purity
O Master, Lord my God, in whose hands are my lots, help me according to Thy mercy and do not allow me to be destroyed by mine iniquities, nor permit me by my will to follow the desires of my flesh against my spirit. I was fashioned by Thee, do not forsake the works of Thy Hands. Turn not Thy Face away from me, have pity and do not despise me, neither forsake me, O Lord, for I am weak and it is to Thee, my protecting God, that I have fled to for refuge. Heal my soul, for I have sinned against Thee. Save me for the sake of Thy Mercy, for upon Thee have I cast myself from my very youth. May those who war against me be put to shame, and may those who seek to separate me from Thee through immodest acts, unseemly thoughts and unprofitable recollections be turned back. Chase far from me every impurity, that foul effluence of evil. For Thou alone art holy, Thou alone art mighty, Thou alone art immortal, having unfathomable power against all things, and it is through Thee that every power is given against the devil and his might. For unto Thee are due all glory, honour, and worship, to the Father and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Psalm 50
Have mercy on me, O God, according to Thy great mercy; and according to the multitude of Thy compassions blot out my transgression. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I know mine iniquity, and my sin is ever before me. Against Thee only have I sinned and done this evil before Thee, that Thou mightest be justified in Thy words, and prevail when Thou art judged. For behold, I was conceived in iniquities, and in sins did my mother bear me. For behold, Thou hast loved truth; the hidden and secret things of Thy wisdom hast Thou made manifest unto me. Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be made clean; Thou shalt wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow. Thou shalt make me to hear joy and gladness; the bones that be humbled, they shall rejoice. Turn Thy face away from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from Thy presence, and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation, and with Thy governing Spirit establish me. I shall teach transgressors Thy ways, and the ungodly shall turn back unto Thee. Deliver me from blood-guiltiness, O God, Thou God of my salvation; my tongue shall rejoice in Thy righteousness. O Lord, Thou shalt open my lips, and my mouth shall declare Thy praise. For if Thou hadst desired sacrifice, I had given it; with whole-burnt offerings Thou shalt not be pleased. A sacrifice unto God is a broken spirit; a heart that is broken and humbled God will not despise. Do good, O Lord, in Thy good pleasure unto Sion, and let the walls of Jerusalem be builded. Then shalt Thou be pleased with a sacrifice of righteousness, with oblation and whole-burnt offerings. Then shall they offer bullocks upon Thine altar.

In my temptations, in my needs, I will never cease to call on you, ever repeating your sacred name, Mary, Mary. What a consolation, what sweetness, what confidence fills my soul when I utter your sacred name or even only think of you! I thank the Lord for having given you so sweet, so powerful, so lovely a name. But I will not be content with merely uttering your name. Let my love for you prompt me ever to hail you Mother of Perpetual Help. Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for me and grant me the favor I confidently ask of you. (mention intention). (3) HAIL MARY "Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen."
Against distractions & loss of focus: Read two chapters of THE BIBLE everyday! :) Look to the things of HEAVEN.
Hope it helps! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Do you have any crackfic ideas?
Oh boy oh boy anon... indeed I do...
Picture this: It could either be called "The Ballad of Nathaniel Benedict" OR "The Final Curtain"
Read on if you want me to blow your mind.
The show is the same as always, but LIVE is a theater school and Nathaniel is obsessed with becoming a ✨star✨ and the season 2 hypnotizing people to applaud for him is just part of that.
He puts on a show about his own life that is filled with blatant lies. Like, comedically exaggerated lies, like he makes himself out to be a saint.
Meanwhile, Jackson and Jillson take this play so seriously. They are running around screaming at everyone for not getting the choreography down fast enough. SQ is just happy to paint sets and train the animals (yes Nathaniel has doves involved in this) and hopes his father won't make him perform much (he is cast as young Nathaniel as well as himself).
Nathaniel hypnotizes the people in the compound and the society adults to sing and dance and play various roles in the production (Miss. Perumal as the orphanage director, Milligan as a Nathaniel written evil version of his chemist self, Number Two and Rhonda as various people who are grateful for all the good Nathaniel has done and praise his every move etc.).
Nicholas is the villain in this fake show about Nathaniel's own life, but he's hypnotized so he's playing the villain role willingly and within Nathaniel's vision, which is super over the top. Nicholas' character has a lair, wears an evil dark cape, and repeatedly says stuff like "BAH! I hate humanity!" and "My brother will suffer! I shall kidnap his son and spread vicious lies about him!" and he has Darth Vader type entrance music. Meanwhile, Nathaniel has written himself as this over the top good guy victim persona and has around 50 solos.
Garrison is in the compound somehow and forced to be in the play against her will. She's forced to participate, but not hypnotized, so she reads her lines robotically with no emotion and her under acting and unenthusiastic dancing plus Jeffers' bad acting and horrific dancing (Jeffers plays Tommy Jacobs in addition to himself and forgets a lot of his lines or says the wrong thing) clash so strongly with everyone else's hypnotized performances, as well as Jackson and Jillson's oddly impressive dance moves, and Nathaniel's over the top antics.
The kids kidnap Nathaniel during the intermission, allowing Garrison to escape and leaving Jeffers to stall. Jeffers takes this opportunity to try out his standup routine. He's really bad.
Meanwhile, Nicholas is still hypnotized and insists on singing over the top villain songs (because that's the role Nathaniel gave him) the entire ride to Number Two's house, but since he was told to play a villain, he takes the "kidnap your brother" thing pretty well, because they convince him it's a part of the show and a last minute rewrite and there's no audience anymore because it's a movie now and the cameras are hidden. And whether Nicholas is still hypnotized to pretend to be an evil theater villain or pretending to be hypnotized, it's incredibly funny when Curtain wakes up to see his brother standing over him like "nah ha ha...at last...I've captured you. And now brother, I've won. Now, I shall take all your accomplishments, your son, and your well-earned love and glory for myself and leave you to rot!" and Curtain's like "Nicholas...this isn't until act 4. And we need to get back to the stage." Meanwhile, Nicholas stays committed to the bit and refuses to break his assigned "character". When he freezes, Curtain cries and says "Please you have to come back. You need to fix this. The people expect an encore! They're probably so exhausted waiting for us to come back and perform! Our audience needs you Nicholas!" and the fic cuts to people booing and throwing fruit at Jeffers as he nervously tries to play the recorder to calm them down.
The brothers put aside their differences and realize there's only one way to save the show. By working together.
The fic ends with them going back and putting on a great show, that ends with the cops showing up and hauling Nathaniel off to the slammer for some hard time. But Nathaniel does get to sing a heartbreaking farewell song that moves the audience to tears, and say goodbye to SQ and his brother one last time.
And there you have it anon. My masterpiece. This cheered me up immensely. Thank you so much anon! 🥰

“Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.” Jude‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬-‭25‬

10th August >> Mass Readings (USA)
Feast of Saint Laurence, Deacon, Martyr
(Liturgical Colour: Red: A (1))
First Reading 2 Corinthians 9:6-10 God loves a cheerful giver.
Brothers and sisters: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Moreover, God is able to make every grace abundant for you, so that in all things, always having all you need, you may have an abundance for every good work. As it is written:
He scatters abroad, he gives to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.
The one who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness.

ON THE SINS OF OTHERS AND ONE'S OWN
NOW that you have thus become aware of your own wretchedness, your insufficiency, and your wickedness, you call upon the Lord as did the Publican (Luke 18:13): God, be merciful to me a sinner. And you add: Behold, I am far worse than the Publican, for I cannot resist eyeing the Pharisee askance, and my heart is proud and says: I thank Thee that I am not like him!
But, say the saints, now that you recognize the darkness in your own heart and the weakness of your flesh, you lose all desire to pass judgment on your neighbour. Out of your own darkness you see the heavenly light that shines in all created things reflected the clearer: you cannot detect the sins of others while your own are so great. For it is in your eager striving for perfection that you first perceive your own imperfection. And only when you have seen your imperfection, can you be perfected. Thus perfection proceeds out of weakness.
At this point you are granted the result that Isaac the Syrian promises to those who persecute themselves: And your enemy is driven off as fast as you approach.
Of what enemy is the holy Father speaking here? Naturally, of the same one who once took the shape of a serpent and who, ever since, arouses discontent in us, dissatisfaction, impatience and impetuosity and anger, envy, fear, anguish, anxiety, hate, dispiritedness, laziness, dejection, doubt and especially all that embitters our existence and that has its roots in our self-love and self-pity. For who can wish to be obeyed who realizes, with the pangs of love, that he himself never obeys his Master? What reason, then, has he to be disturbed, to become impatient and impassioned, if everything does not go according to his wishes? Through practice he has accustomed himself to wish for nothing, and for a person with no wishes, everything goes just as he wishes, explains the Abbot Dorotheus. His will has coincided with God's will, and whatever he asks, he will receive (Mark 11:24).
Can one very well be envious of a person who does not exalt himself, but who, on the contrary, sees his own condition and finds that everyone else is far more worthy of fame and honour than he? Are fear, anguish and anxiety possible for the person who knows that, come what may, he, like the robber on the cross, is receiving the due reward of his deeds (Luke 23:41)? Laziness leaves him because he is constantly unmasking it within himself. Dejection finds no place, for how can what is already prostrate be cast down? And his hate is directed exclusively towards all the evil in his own life that dims his view of the Lord: he hates his own life (Luke 14:26). But then there is no longer any ground for doubt, for he has tasted and seen how gracious the Lord is (Psalm 34:8): it is the Lord alone who bears him up. His love grows constantly in breadth, and with it his faith.
He has made peace with himself, as Isaac the Syrian says, and heaven and earth have made peace with him. He is gathering the fruit of humility. But this takes place only on the narrow way, and few there be that find it (Matthew 7:14).

When you go somewhere and communicate with someone in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and you visibly see that they despise you, hate you, or plot against you in various ways from a bottom of their hearts for a long time, such as cursing, binding you in the name of Jesus Christ, witchcraft, hacking your accounts with AI-created prostitutes, or trying to lead you to make a bridge for them to do the same to other Christians and especially to the Jews in Israel (who have enough of their own troubles), you must declare as the Lord Jesus Christ and Saint Paul said, as it is written in the Bible: "Peace be upon this house, and if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you." (Matthew 10:13, Luke 10:6) "Shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them." (Matthew 10:14, Mark 6:11) "Your blood be on your own heads; I am clean from this responsibility." (Acts 18:6) Furthermore, as the Lord Jesus Christ Himself said in the Book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible (I will only paraphrase it, as I may not know the exact wording): "Let them be accursed—any man, demon, or even an angel from Heaven—who changes what is written in the Bible, or who disturbs the peace of mind and action of any such person." (Revelation 22:18-19, Galatians 1:8) We should not be surprised at how many cripples, madmen, and people suffer from spiritual blindness, which is caused in exactly this way. I am not afraid or ashamed to say this, as I see spiritually what lies behind it. And as it is written in the Bible, the Beast, the False Prophet, and later the Devil will be cast into the lake of fire and sulfur forever after the final judgment. "The Beast and the False Prophet were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur." (Revelation 19:20) "And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever." (Revelation 20:10) This place of torment, prison, and lake of sulfur and fire is certainly for many of them, even along the way. Ordinary murderers—those who kill the fruits of children in the wombs of mothers, young girls and boys, disabled people, widows and widowers—such people should be sent off to the next world without delay with a great parade. They hurt anyone they can hurt, for whatever can be broken will be broken, especially among those who do not know the truth. For the biblical Beast and its companions have already risen from the lake of fire and sulfur, so they truly have nothing left to lose, and they relieve themselves on people in this way, receiving comfort from the Devil. For as it is written in the Bible: "They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." (Revelation 7:14) Or, at least, they will go through a purifying fire to ascend a level higher. I find it strange how these conscious, living occultist fools on Earth allow themselves to be bought for a few coins, despite their short fast lives. And for those who are unknowingly blind, we can only pray for them.
Let’s delve deeper into this topic with more Bible verses that address several aspects, including spiritual warfare, persecution of Christians, the nature of evil, and the power of God’s justice and grace. 1. Persecution of Christians and Responding with Peace The Bible often speaks about how followers of Jesus will face persecution and rejection. Jesus warned His disciples that they would be…

FOCUS AND LITURGY OF THE WORD
Today’s readings focused my thoughts on dying as a cycle of life.  St Lawrence certainly faced death with a bravado that I would ascribe to deep faith – an unwavering belief that this is not the end rather the beginning.  It is said that as he lay roasting on the fire, he quipped to his tormentors, something like, I’m done on this side, turn me over.  It’s no wonder that he is the patron saint of comedians as well as firefighters. Faith and death are impeccably connected – at least for me I need this connection to face life.
August 8 marked 63rd anniversary of death of my brother (ironically named Lawrence) at the age of 20, it was clearly on my mind as I did these readings about dying.  I recall what may be considered a random act of faith before he entered the military (so about a year before he died) when he went to a Shrine (Our Lady of La Salette) and climbed the steps to Mary on his knees.  It seemed uncharacteristic of him at the time and I often have wondered what motivated him.  I remarked about this once to a close relative and the rather cynical response was What good did it do him, he died!  Apparently, the belief is if you pray, you won’t die!!!  Rather we may need to recognize that only with faith and pray cn we face the death of our mortal being.  Maybe, just maybe, his action provided some new-found faith for him that brought him closer to Jesus.  Maybe, just maybe, in the seconds of his accident when he died, he found comfort in the arms of Mary and Jesus.  I truly believe it made a difference. . .
Amen, amen, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just a grain of wheat; but if it dies, it produces much fruit.
One of these faith stories that filled my heart a couple of years ago also involved the death of a very young man – a death that produced much fruit.  It was a tragic sudden death that left a father heart-broken yet because the young man was at a Jesuit university, he (the father) found himself surrounded by Jesuits who provided great comfort.  Not unlike St. Ignatius who we just celebrated at the end of last month, this father found transformation through the tragedy and his life has taken on new meaning and direction.  The young man was an organ donor, and his lungs gave renewed life to a man who then generously donated money for a home by a large medical center that would support families in their struggles and named the home in honor of this young man.  [as aside, there is a book, All My Tomorrows: A Story of Tragedy, Transplant, and Hope that was also the basis for a Netflix movie, 2 Hearts].  The father left a great paying job to return to college completing a Masters in Theology and teaches that at a Jesuit high school for young men. Thus, the domino effect of all the good that emerged from the tragedy is ongoing to this day.  FAITH is alive and well as the legacy lives on. The seed that died produced and continues to produce abundant fruit through many other lives saved, families finding refuge, young men being mentored in faith and a book and movie touching MILLIONS of lives. Amazing!!
We will not ever be free from tragedy and hurt while we walk this earth, but we will never have to face that hurt alone.  We are always in the arms of our Father and comforted by our loving Mother and the numerous angels on earth.  The ordinary people who cross our lives, share their stories, listen to ours, and together our lives are changed forever . . .
Chris Tomlin says it so well . . .

SAINT OF THE DAY
Saint Lawrence
(c. 225 – August 10, 258)
Saint Lawrence’s Story
The esteem in which the Church holds Lawrence is seen in the fact that today’s celebration ranks as a feast. We know very little about his life. He is one of those whose martyrdom made a deep and lasting impression on the early Church. Celebration of his feast day spread rapidly.
He was a Roman deacon under Pope Saint Sixtus II. Four days after this pope was put to death, Lawrence and four clerics suffered martyrdom, probably during the persecution of the Emperor Valerian.
Legendary details of Lawrence’s death were known to Damasus, Prudentius, Ambrose, and Augustine. The church built over his tomb became one of the seven principal churches in Rome and a favorite place for Roman pilgrimages.
A well-known legend has persisted from earliest times. As deacon in Rome, Lawrence was charged with the responsibility for the material goods of the Church, and the distribution of alms to the poor. When Lawrence knew he would be arrested like the pope, he sought out the poor, widows, and orphans of Rome and gave them all the money he had on hand, selling even the sacred vessels of the altar to increase the sum. When the prefect of Rome heard of this, he imagined that the Christians must have considerable treasure. He sent for Lawrence and said, “You Christians say we are cruel to you, but that is not what I have in mind. I am told that your priests offer in gold, that the sacred blood is received in silver cups, that you have golden candlesticks at your evening services. Now, your doctrine says you must render to Caesar what is his. Bring these treasures—the emperor needs them to maintain his forces. God does not cause money to be counted: He brought none of it into the world with him—only words. Give me the money, therefore, and be rich in words.”
Lawrence replied that the Church was indeed rich. “I will show you a valuable part. But give me time to set everything in order and make an inventory.” After three days he gathered a great number of blind, lame, maimed, leprous, orphaned, and widowed persons and put them in rows. When the prefect arrived, Lawrence simply said, “These are the treasure of the Church.”
The prefect was so angry he told Lawrence that he would indeed have his wish to die—but it would be by inches. He had a great gridiron prepared with coals beneath it, and had Lawrence’s body placed on it. After the martyr had suffered the pain for a long time, the legend concludes, he made his famous cheerful remark, “It is well done. Turn me over!”
Reflection
----------
Once again we have a saint about whom almost nothing is known, yet one who has received extraordinary honor in the Church since the fourth century. Almost nothing—yet the greatest fact of his life is certain: He died for Christ. We who are hungry for details about the lives of the saints are again reminded that their holiness was after all, a total response to Christ, expressed perfectly by a death like this.
Saint Lawrence is a Patron Saint of:
Cooks
Deacons
Poor

Walk In Love
Ephesians 5:1-33
1. Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
2. And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
3. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints.
4. Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks .
5. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7. Be not therefore partakers with them.
8. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9. (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10. Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11. And have no fellowship with unfruitful workers of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
14. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
18. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
19. Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.
20. Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
21. Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
22. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husband, as unto the Lord.
23. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
25. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26. That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.
27. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30. For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32. This is great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
33. Nevertheless let everyone of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Ephesians 5:1-11
[1]Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children;
[2]and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
[3]But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints;
[4]and there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.
[5]For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
[6]Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
[7]Therefore do not be partakers with them;
[8]for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light
[9](for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth),
[10]trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.
[11]Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them;
John 3:19-21
[19]This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.
[20]For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
[21]But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God."
1 Thessalonians 5:21-23
[21]But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good;
[22]abstain from every form of evil.
[23]Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 3:2
[2]"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
Luke 13:3
[3]I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.

Reflection 94: Facing the Evil One
If you wish to avoid the fierce hatred of the evil one, then refrain from striving for holiness. Satan will still hate you, but he will not hate you as much as the saint. But, of course, this is foolishness! Why would anyone avoid holiness so as to avoid the hatred of the evil one? It is true that the closer we come to God, the more the evil one will seek to destroy us. Though it’s good to be aware of this, it’s nothing to fear. In fact, attacks from the evil one should be seen as signs to us of our closeness to God (see Diary #412).
Reflect, today, upon any ways that you have felt overwhelmed by fear. Very often, this fear is the fruit of you letting the trickery and malice of the evil one affect you. Instead of letting fear affect you, allow the evil that confronts you to be the cause of your increase in faith and trust in God. Evil will either tear us down or become an opportunity for us to grow in God’s grace and strength.
Lord, fear is useless, what is needed is faith. Increase my faith, I pray, so that I will be daily under the control of Your gentle inspirations and not under the control of the fear caused by the attacks of the evil one. Jesus, I trust in You.

Matt 5v17-19:- Law taught by Rabbis and Prophets were till John but afte... Matt 5v17-19:- Law taught by Rabbis and Prophets were till John but after the greedy Rabbis appears Christ Jesus. https://youtu.be/o8_yB4ysLfc Holy Gospel of our Supernatural Father Elohim, Allah, Parbrahm, etc., delivered by the First Anointed Christ, which in Punjabi we call Satguru Jesus of the highest living God Elohim that dwells within His Temple of God created by the demiurge Potter, the Lord of the Nature Yahweh, Brahma, Khudah, etc., the Greatest Artist of all and it is called Harmandir or “Emmanuel” according to Saint Matthew 5,17-19. Jesus said to his twice-born Talimdim = Sikhs, students of the spiritual knowledge and not the once-born disciples of the Rabbis as Saul was of the Gamaliel: "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfil by providing the knowledge of the Oral Torah learnt through “common sense” called the holy spirit = Surtti. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place. Tap Root of the Tree of the Book knowledge is “His Word” called Oral Torah because it cannot be written down in ink on paper but over the living Tablet of heart by the grace of our Father Elohim, Allah, Parbrahm, etc. Then, you receive the Al-Kitab of Allah. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the kingdom of heaven seen in the law and order. But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the kingdom of heaven, a Prophet. Christ Jesus created 70 outer circle Labourers as the Prophets and also, the Samaritans, Salt of the earth faithful to Abraham and Yahweh were a Nation of such Prophets but the Saltless Tares hated them. Gnostic heretic explains why Jesus had 12 Labourers? 7 in the name of Yahweh (John, the Baptist) and 5 in Christ Jesus = 12. https://youtu.be/zNtyGuUbwuA From Judaism born of water + 7 to Christianity born of the holy spirit + 5 = 12 TANN (Physical tribal body) + MUNN (Mind, Nafs, etc.) = 12 Purified (Nirmall) David’s Cross of secular works, social, economic and political, in Yahweh, Brahma, Khuda, etc., the demiurge creator of the natural “Potts” into which the “soul” of our Supernatural Father Elohim, Allah, Parbrahm, etc. is infused to make the Pott living. These natural once-born men, the Disciples, are led by a Moses’ Priest – Matt 13v52 – that leads to the kingdom of heaven in law and order. The works performed gives you the next birth called “Reincarnation”. Evil-works give you leprosy whilst the evil greedy Priests end up as “Snakes” as John, the Baptist called the Temple Priests, a Brood of Vipers. People of the holy works carry their credit into the next human birth to earn more treasures that Christ Jesus came to collect from the Temple Priests (Parable of the Winepress – the School of theology) to please our Supernatural Father to bless you with the holy spirit to become a Whip Master for the Rabbis, a Prophet Elijah as John, the Baptist was the Last One in the Promised Land – Luke 16v16 or a Christ/Bhagat to sing the praises of our Supernatural Father Elohim represented by the Middle Candle of the Menorah that is raised above the other Six in honour of Christ Jesus. The other six candles of works evil or holy is represented by the David’s Cross of two triangles opposite each other. When the Rabbis become hypocrites and crooks, then the hue and cry of people (the Bud swells to welcome Christ Jesus – Shepherdless people) makes Elohim to send His Own Anointed Son “Christ”, to Preach the Bottom-line Absolute Gospel Truth called the “Oral Torah”, to give life to people with Buds swelling up to receive their Bridegroom Christ in their hearts, to bear “Fruit” for Resurrection by grace as demonstrated by Christ Jesus in His Friend in Lazarus. Christ Jesus picked up the 12 Labourers for the Royal Kingdom of Elohim, Allah, Parbrahm, etc., that has a Low for humble and Narrow for the “solitary” Gate and by Feeding them His Own Flesh, He prepared them to Preach the Gospel Truth from the Roof Tops called Drinking the Blood of Christ to become part of Jesus, the “Virgin Bride”. This, Jesus, stressed after feeding the 5000 with highly delicious food provided by the Lord of Nature demiurge Potter Yahweh and He compared it with Manna of repentance that was provided by Moses in the wilderness. Thus, the 12 Labourers of Jesus had nothing to do with the 12 tribes of Israel.
