i thought this was relevant for the season, i've been wanting to draw this all month but only just got round to it

the crystalverse doesn't have a physical "evil dan" equivalent, they have enough evil people to deal with. however there IS a part where dan has a nightmare about becoming this corrupt version of himself being a mad scientist. (well, he is one anyway, but he's a good mad scientist. this is the other end of the morality scale)

this "evil dan" is the build up of every awful thought and emotion the real dan has ever had, both about himself and about other people, + unhealthy dose of japanese horror movie about torture.

he took on this in an attempt to get the lingering thoughts about denton out of his head, but even that wouldn't satisfy him, and in his dreamscape he turned on all of his friends and started using them for "experiments" as well. but it was never for any research, he just uses science as a means to torture everyone and make them feel the pain he has, without realising this makes him no better than denton. he has no morals, no cares, nothing him holding back.

you probably noticed he's not wearing his goggles, that's because trayaurus gave them to him as a gift in the au but seeing as he didn't need trayaurus anymore he didn't need his comfort anymore either...his eye colour went dull and he has shadows under his eyes from being tired of night after night being plagued with bad dreams

the general mad scientist dan design (with the scarf) was something i saw on deviantart a few years ago but i can't find the user who drew it. i just loved the design, if i can find it i'll link it

A DanTDM project I did in Art class !! The project was to draw a keyhole and make a little world inside of it and I picked my fav YouTuber ofc🤗 im pretty proud of it so :3 be nice lols. we have another project and i might do dan again👀
