Licorice Cookie

As a cookie who studied in Parfaedia before its collapse, Licorice became one of the really successful of the group. Whenever there's trouble or help needed, don't hesitate to call for him.

His calm, understanding nature makes him a great comrade, even under pressure. Licorice can get very cautious, with many questions in mind. He is the one who thinks the most through his team.

His mind is free from what others think about him. Licorice knows his limits and doesn't need others' approval. This free mindset keeps him happy and tranquil.

Pomegranate Cookie

Most friendliest, most energetic friend you'll find. A cookie who follows her heart. She tries to keep her friends out of trouble as much as possible, however she is the one who ends up going into some herself. Pomegranate sees greatness in everyone and wants them to be themselves. Her spark will help others to take the best out of them. Fate is just a word to her.

When White Lily Cookie isn't around, Pomegranate will be glad to take the lead and keep the morale high even in toughest of times.

Dark Choco Cookie

Once a prince from the oppressive Dark Cacao Kingdom,

He says his father's atrocities against civilians disgust him, leading him to join the cookies of Freedom and wishing to take down his regime. No opportunity to give hugs will be lost from him, as a social and bright man he is.

He does have some dark jokes here and there, but there wasn't any physical harm for now. Though Dark Choco Cookie isn't trusted by all members, some still believe he is truly redeemable, and mustn't be hated simply for having an evil father. No matter the situation, Dark Choco Cookie will always be there to protect his friends, right?

Poison Mushroom Cookie

A quick, but grumpy little fellow. Poison Mushroom will scold you for going anywhere near their shroomies. They won't bother sharing. You'll need a lot of convincing to use the mushrooms for ambush or attack. No matter how hard you try to hide something from them, they will always, somehow find out. Poison Mushroom won't hesitate to point out flaws or call cookies out. Friends? Do they consider the group their friends? Probably not. But whatever it is, they will remain company with the rest. It's better than being left out in that dangerous world.

You entered the banquet hall, the sight of Dark Enchantress Cookie herself was enough to put you on edge, her entourage sitting alongside her, their eyes fixed in your direction didn’t help matters…

“Welcome, Y/N Cookie and friends.”

“Dark Enchantress Cookie! We are not going to be swayed by some food!”

Gingerbrave resisted the temptation of the banquet, Custard Cookie III not so much, which irritated Chili Pepper Cookie.

“Come on! Let’s take our seats! The jellies are getting cold!”

“Hey! Aren’t you a little TOO excited?!”

Esterházy interrupted for a brief moment to help with any belongings, of which Custard Cookie accepted real quickly.

“A grand idea! Here, hold my crown and scepter. Try not to get them wrinkled.”

“Very well, sir. As for everyone else...If you would please take your seats?”

You hesitate, but you go to sit down, hopefully as far away from the CoD as possible…before Esterházy stopped you with his hand.

“My apologies, sir/madam. But your seat is actually at the other end of the table, you’ve been specifically requested to sit there.”

This news surprised you and the group, Healer Cookie especially…

“What?!”

“Hehe, yeah! You’re sitting with us, Y/N Cookie. Right next to Dark Enchantress Cookie herself!”

You pondered on running out that door…..

…before sighing in defeat and trudged to the other side of the table. You couldn’t see it, but their eyes were on you as you head over to that empty seat amidst the CoD, Dark Enchantress Cookie patting it invitingly.

“Come, Y/N Cookie. You and your friends are the first Cookies to pass the gates—the first to be PERSONALLY welcomed into my fold. Let us have a heart-to-heart discussion~”

You sit down next to Dark Enchantress Cookie, she’d lean down and whisper in your (nonexistent) ear.

“And I’ve been looking forward to a heart-to-heart with you, Y/N Cookie~”

“Oh! So, like, can we ask you anything? Cause, I've been dying to know!How did you train the Cake Monsters? I want one as well!”

Custard Cookie III’s question made Dark Enchantress lean back into her seat as she softly laughed at the young cookie’s question.

“I wonder, Y/N Cookie. How long will Gingerbrave and the others cloud your mind?”

Not this again with Pomegranate Cookie…you whispered at her to knock it off.

“Did they tell you that there is a different path away from my Master’s embrace? You are being wasted on them, there’s only Dark Enchantress Cookie left for you. There’s only the darkness left for you..!”

“Hey, stop hogging all their attention..!”

You let Licorice and Pomegranate bicker at each other, saved you the trouble of Pomegranate’s rants again.

“Y/N Cookie….! Are you going to play with me soon? I have shroomies I want to share!”

You’ll consider it….Poison Mushroom didn’t do anything majorly wrong in your eyes…yet.

Dark Choco Cookie…he didn’t want to look at you in the eyes, your previous encounters with him must still be fresh in his mind…

“But before we progress any further...I have a question for you, our "esteemed" guests.”

“Do you know the reason why we, Cookies, were created?”

Dark Enchantress Cookie’s question snapped you out of your thoughts, your jam ran cold at the thoughts of your real purpose as a cookie…

Custard and Chili Pepper have their own answers to the question, none of which surprised Dark Enchantress Cookie.

“Nope!”

“Me neither! But I know I was baked with a particular set of skills! Heh!”

“How predictable. Pathetic. And you call yourselves COOKIES! What an absolute waste of perfectly fine dough!”

Dark Enchantress Cookie briefly glanced at you.

“Well, most of you are wastes of fine dough anyway. Although, one of you still shows great promise.”

“Y/N Cookie, do you know the real reason why we, Cookies, were created?

You…..hesitated.

The others were not ready to hear it. What’s meant to be their ultimate fate! It made your eyes dart back and forth in nervousness.

“Don’t be shy, my dear. We’re all listening~”

“Don’t listen to her, Y/N Cookie! She’s trying to lie to you again!”

“I'm wasting my efforts on you all. How selfish of you to have Y/N Cookie witness your crumbs litter this table!”

Did she just threaten to kill them all?!

She was not going to do that-

“STOP! I can no longer stand by and watch you bring destruction and corrupt cookies like Y/N Cookie with your evil!”

“HA! And who might YOU be? What is it that YOU can do to stop ME? You're a dusty, ragged, and unnamed nobody. Nothing but a memory that Y/N Cookie will forget very soon.”

“Yes... I have been hiding for far too long...But the time has come to step out from the shadows.”

“I will sacrifice everything to put an end to your schemes!”

Actually, that made a whole lot more sense now that you look back on it. Wizard and Gingerbrave was still in shock.

“PURE VANILLA COOKIE?!”

There's a lot of moments that were sweet and sad. But Zuko's apology to Iroh, and Toph and Sokka's talk about Katara's motherly nature were amongst the sweetest. And Aang going avatar mode when loosing Appa and being comforted by Katara has to be the saddest I can remember.. 🥺🥺🥺

The ending overall just felt like it came too soon, I wish the show was longer..

The boo mushroom isn't intended to be in my AU.. but the boomerang and cloud flower could be included :00 I imagine they'd be/look a lot different though..

The boomerang flower might not be a full on powerup.. I might make it this big flower that once it grows its oddly shaped petals fall off and harden like wood. Leaving behind these perfect flat boomerangs. I can imagine Mario and Luigi just learning how to throw the boomerangs instead of absorbing a powerup. This would also explain how boomerang bros got their boomerangs. They throw the same dried up petals that the bros throw-

The cloud flower might just be changed into some king of... wispy thing and the bros can collect. Instead of a flower. Maybe a literal cloud? I'm not sure.. but I can see it existing :00

Notice Shroomy has a NORMAL dog. This is important!! Because in Mr.Puzzles world, his TV safe space where HIS shows go the way he thinks they should... Shroomy having a normal dog is good! So when Mr.Puzzles gets upset at him and transforms his dog into a meme...

Shroomy doesnt react how Mr.Puzzles would want him too bc currently, the man himself is partaking in a Roll. Blinded by the Roll he is in. Playing the Character of Gru... Just like how SMG4 is himself but shifts just enough to fit the roll of like Dora The Explorer? Puzzles cant micromanage the NPCs reactions so

A guy who doesnt think memes are funny and infact hates them!! Even after the adventure through the meme factory what is the first thing he does upon hitting the stage?

Smg4: smg4 doesn't meme for 1 second

Mostly Gay Boys talk / and well lil bit of crew talk

SPOILER ALERT!

The crew convinced three to take four in for a therapy session. Tho that didnt solve his problems on complete brain rot with all of the memes.

Three did try his best to make him stay a bit focused on the topic they were meant to discuss with four's own meme problems.

And that didn't work-

- after smg4 was sent to meme rehab -

Everyone in the crew were sitting in the gaming room watching some tv, they were seen bored as ever without smg4.

Even just a small glimpse with each memeber entirely they've missed smg4 as well. He was their friend, their leader.

Shroomy came in with the mention of "among us" everyone- as in EVERYONE looked at where smg4 is supposed to be sitting at- reminded them the times when he would laugh at couple of meme jokes.

It is pretty much saddened by the crew how worse it could be in a day without smg4 is by at their side could make them feel miserable.

Then Meggy mentioned about missing smg4...

You know who responded to that?

Three himself...

"Yeah...like, if... er... smg4's stupid humor... like actually... made our lives more exciting...and we didn't like... realize it or something?"

"We're going over to that facility... to get SMG4 back!"

Smg3 was the one who knocked the door, he wanted him to come back. Even the crew also needs smg4 back because he wasn't just any other leader. He was already part of them as well.

They could all tell so, even for smg3 too.

Smg3's character development has taken him way more better to where he'd come far off being the evil villain he used to be before then coming to how much important he chose his own path.

"Hi, how are you" gave them the shock on their faces. Like they felt it was already too late to take back the treatment he was given while he was away.

"Woah smg4! Look at the phone! Wow, sk---di! Yeah you like this! Wooh! Sk---di t--l-t! Hehe. Stinky, woaaaaahh!" ★(I had to censor this because I hate reading nor hearing [REDACTED])

Smg3 attempted to try and brighten out his mood. Gave it a chance who mightve thought would work, giving him those meme moments that definitely would make him laugh.

But three didnt even know he wasnt even sure- if he even liked sk---di t--l-t.

Last time we know is that four almost lost his sh-t during that one cintent farm episode, he cringed to the part of mentioning this kind of brain rot.

But now that his mind is not any other that he'd act at all, smg4 became the normal. The person he wasnt supposed to be. Who SHOULDNT be.

"What is... a meme..."

Everyone didnt want to lose smg4's senses, they didnt want his own person to disappear SO. they went inside the lab to get back his uhh... meme... thing-

Then- yeah he did-

Some of their eyes were relaxed but still worrying for him, while tari and smg3's eyes were a bit widened in shock. (Three was more widened than tari btw)

This indicates that three may have grew tons of roots being there for smg4 as well. That their friendship they both have planted is far beyond than just "sticking" to the sides.

Now that Four is back in his senses, everyone joined in including smg3 to do the... t pose? Whatever it's called.

Three was so happy- to finally get him back- speaking of having the role as a tritagonist, he really mustve took way more care and tells how important he already is to him. Even as a friend.

Honestly the hosts here who've completely have done much was Meggy and Three. Well- mostly three since he'd been convincing the crew to not give up or regret the choices made.

He LITERALLY told them that they need to get him BACK.

And everyone did understood.

So- tell me- PLEASE THEY BOTH HAVE TO BE CANON ALREADY THERE IS JUST NO WAY YOU'RE MISSING A 'HOMIE' FOR THAT-

Mark my words they have to be- (if they dont become canon in wotfi 2024 i will cry and die)

There is literally no way you guys look at each other like that. Stare for atleast SIX MORE SECONDS. (/referring to Puzzlevision movie when FOUR HAD BEEN STARING AT THREE)

Ig I'm slowly starting to understand why this weird drama happened...?? Like not only does Deviantart usually focus on more overlooked characters and children are usually on there.. Anti Shroomy exists.. And people are usually acting weird af when it comes to the more evil characters.. BUT....... Holly clearly liked Shroomy in general which makes me really upset.. Like leave Shroomy's joy and whimsy out of this PLEASE.., When it comes to Anti Shroomy, sure why not... Still kinda weirds me out because I see Anti Shroomy like me when I get angry, but at least it wouldn't be good ol' Boy Scout Shroomy. Leave good ol' Shroomy out of this please oh my god.. He would be absolutely terrified of your problematic ass,,.. I would know because I am Shroomy. I am a Shroomy fictkin HeLp.. 😭 I'm this close to gatekeeping Shroomy, but not Anti Shroomy, from this problematic person tbh.... Like Holly you can act weird around Anti Shroomy all you want and say "AnTI ShRooMy IS MiNe" idc at all...... Despite that still being Shroomy.. :'D Also pretty sure Holly supports Isnotreal as well which I'd not be surprised about.. Shroomy wouldn't support that place at all he'd want all the children to be safe and happy. He would NOT support genocide on children, end of story. He'd be scared of the thought of it. Chapter 13: The Final Showdown

Summary: A few months after the events of WOTFI 2023, SMG4 starts having really bad dreams about the "Its gotta be perfect" incident. One night however, his fear allows the nightmares to break through and he gets taken to a horrific dimension. He finally meets the tv adware, who manipulates him into returning to his insane ways, intent on claiming much more than the perfect video. Now it's up to his friends to stop this madness and save SMG4. Can they do it in time or will they lose SMG4 forever? (In case you are unaware this is a sequel to the its gotta be perfect movie)

The sky had darkened into a thundering storm. The corrupted Smg4 and Mr Puzzles were here with an army of foul and evil creatures. Smg1, Smg2, and all their friends that had stayed behind were standing their ground for intimidation was no longer an option. "We will save the Showgrounds no matter what!"

They blasted a ray of meme energy, but Four used his own corrupted powers to block it. "Really? You thought that could actually do something?" You can't destroy your own kind, can you? "We will defeat you!" Darkness encircles around them as Mr Puzzles commanded that strong wind of nightmares (is that all you do). "Good luck." However, he had not given enough credit as these characters bravely fought back. Shroomy was wildly shooting in his anti form, the Teletubbies kept stabbing creatures, and the U.S. military blew up anything that flew towards them (even birds).

One and Two were about to strike, but Mr Puzzles laughed with reassurance even though he was losing badly. "I can feel your guilt. You can't deny that you left your friends behind. Now they will perish!" They both stopped in their tracks as Four came up behind and blasted them into the ground. "SMG1! SMG2!"

"What a disappointment. That was way too easy!" Mr Puzzles turned to the crew and called out. "I will be your new leader and rule over the Mushroom Kingdom! Surrender now before someone really gets hurt!" That bitter damage that One and Two experienced was only just a warm up. Two got up, grieving in pain as he turned to his partner. "He's right. We should have stayed to help and now they're..."

"No way you're surrendering to these freaks now!" Kaizo said. "Yeah! Nothing's illegal when you're on the side of justice!" Hal monitor added. One nodded as he slowly got up with Two doing the same. "With all of you by our side, we have nothing to fear!" Mr Puzzles was getting irritated. His mind games weren't working anymore.

The two meme guardians joined hands as they addressed all their friends. "We will never abandon each other, just as we will not let our nightmares control us, you shall not let yours take hold! We will defend and protect each other!" A burst of energy sent the fog of nightmares to disappear for good and everyone who was under the weight of their burdens was released. "Together we will defeat this Adware and he will never hurt any of us again!" Mr Puzzle's screen glitched in seething anger as Four stood with his mouth open.

"How did they do that!?" Mr Puzzle's fists clenched as he yelled "You are all fools! Believing that love and teamwork will save you! Only power and darkness can get you what you want!" Four started to quiver as he turned to his leader. "Master, what do we do?" He shot back "We will not back down! It's time to end this now!" Four nodded, but suddenly he felt a shocking corse of pain going through is body. "Master...what is....happening to me!?" A wave of blue energy surrounded him as the crew appeared before the others. The connection had worked!

The squelching creature that Tari had brought was turned into its original form of goodness and radiance. From before Mr Puzzles conquered and corrupted the innocent soul. "I am not your servant! Release my friends at once!" Mario shot back with a mixture of silliness and confidence "Stupid TV man! Mario and his friends are stronger than you will ever be!"

"You're all okay!" Two was so relieved that they hadn't died. One breathed in reassurance as well. "You really thought that creepy place could stop us!" Three struck back while Meggy gave them a thumbs up and Tari clapped enthusiastically. "Now let's show them what we got!" Meggy said. One and Two nodded as they all held hands and the creatures that were attacking had been remodeled into their original forms by a flash of light. The one Tari befriended had started to cry tears of joy as he rushed up to hug them. "My friends! You're alright!"

Mr Puzzles clenched his fists as a boiling anger made his screen turn red. Four stared at his hand in confusion, trying to understand how he had just helped bring his enemies to safety. "What....how...did I do that?" Mr Puzzles took his immense outrage out on the only victim that he had left. "OF COURSE YOU DID! THAT ANNOYING OLD SELF OF YOURS HAS ALLOWED YOU TO CONNECT WITH THAT FOOL! YOU ARE A TRAITOR!" He turned to the other creatures and yelled at them "YOU ALL ARE BACK-STABBERS TOO!!!

He was done playing nice. It was time to up the game. "I'm finished with all of you! If you want a show, I'll give you a show! Prepare yourself for..."

They all got transported to a fake simulation of their home as Mr Puzzles watched. He was always the observer in these challenges he set up. His screen turned on to a bunch of comments and said "Luckily I can count on my audience to give a good performance!"

Three and Four appeared at a computer. "What the..?" It started playing YouTube videos of a gacha creator who put themselves in different movies and shows and...Hey wait a minute! That's my videos!

"CUT!"

"What the heck! Why are my videos the cringy ones!" Mr Puzzles as the audacity to say "Well Iv'e been looking at your videos and you barely have any quality content."

"What do you mean!? I make excellent content!" Mr Puzzles rolls his eyes and says "Please. You hardly have over 1,000 subscribers." How dare this stupid piece of junk! I stuck a finger in his face and make it perfectly clear to him exactly what I think. "What are you going to say now! That I get more dislikes than likes! I can think of much more low quality gacha than my channel. Pick somebody else!"

"I would, but your followers request it! You don't want to disappoint them do you?" Ugh, stupid reverse psychology. "Fine. But we are going to have a serious talk later." (little does he know, I'm going to throw a chair at him). I storm out of the room and the challenge continues.

As Three and Four watch, discomfort slowly rises in them. "That ain't so bad..." Four starts to sweat. "Come on, be brave Three." His eyes tear up as he holds back from looking away. It starts to get harder as some of the older videos play, which are ten times worse. Four couldn't take it anymore as his body deflated. "Oh no! Cringe!" He collapsed on the floor, making Smg3 the winner.

He goes into hacker mode while trying not to have a panic attack to the point he just bangs his head on the keyboard till it breaks. He stares at the sparking and fizzing computer wreckage. Four shows his meme first as he has a tomato soop that he tried making back in January. "Pfff. Mario's meme is way better!" He shows off his meme that is just a crappy drawing of spaghetti. "Oooooo. What do you think? You like?" The judges set fire to their eyes after witnessing that horrid picture.

Four has a smug grin on his face while watching her struggle as he turns and says with a wavering hand "You see I'm going to do what's called a pro gamer move!" He installs a cheat code and laughs manically, but once he presses a button a big red x pops up on the screen with text that reads "Your ID is banned for cheating! Play the game the correct way noob!" Four stands there with his hanging mouth while Saiko had just successfully unlocked the character as the Mario star collection music plays.

"LOL! THIS IS SO EASY!" Four begins chopping down trees around him and digging in every direction until he finds diamonds. Bob just watches a pig and says "SO...HOW ARE YOU TODAY?" Four makes it to a village and starts pillaging the land. "Don't mind me, just stealing your resources! :D" Bob continues to make conversation with the pixelated animal. "DO YOU LIKE PORKCHOPS?" Four breaks into Steve's farm and steals his beloved chicken. "NOOOOOO! MY CHICKEN!" Bob is riding the pig when he sees Alex stuck in the fence. "Steve help me!" Four has finally acquired all the eyes of ender when he jumps through the portal, only to find Bob standing on the dragon. "WEEEE! I CAN FLY!" The dragon flies into a tower and the purple explosion cutscene happens as Bob gets the "Free the End" achievement. Steve appears and slaps Four, taking his beloved chicken back with him.

"He even has other channels for movies and food and-" Smg4 interrupted her fantasies with his own remarks. "Oh yeah! Well he studies and does very interactive planning on how all the characters act and what the lore means!" Toad comes up with a phone in his hands and stares at them, perplexed. "You guys know that he's retired now right?" The two stare in shock before looking at each other and that back at Toad. "He is!?" Toad held up his phone to show MattPat's final theory video and the two curled up onto the floor, bawling.

Boopkins takes a broom and begins sweeping the park. Smg4 does a weird stance walk, looking for someone to help when he finds a old man that is about to cross the street. He grabs him and says "Let me help." as he pushes the walk button. It is now safe to cross as he smiles, taking the man's hand. They were just about to make it across when the old man sees something on the ground and says "Ooo a penny!" He goes down to pick it up, but the walk sign turns back and a bunch of cars hit them. Meanwhile Boopkins just finished cleaning the park and a crowd surrounds him to congratulate the fish while Four lays in the road, bent and burning.

Mario is spinning around in circles when Meggy comes in. "If I want to win this then this calls for extreme measures!" A giant cage comes down and Meggy grabs a plate of spaghetti. "Ohhhh Mariooooo!" Seeing the plate of pasta, Mario's mustache grows as he runs straight at it. "GIMME GIMME GIMME!!!" Meggy throws the spaghetti into the cage and Mario dives in to eat the contents off the floor. Meggy locks the cage and strikes a confident pose. "That was too..HUH!" She looks into the cage to find that the fat Italian is missing. "How did he...?" She then finds him outside, looking derpy while everyone else is running around screaming. "Mario! What did you do!"

"Mario tried to show them his spaghetti, but they ran away in terror!" He showed her a plate that had instead a pipe bomb. "Wow! It's a pipe bomb-" *BOOM*

Smg4 brings an excited Mario into the room. "What are we going to do Smg4?" Four opens the door and lets Luigi in with a smile. "You'll be hanging out with Luigi today!" Four gets in real close and whispers into his ear "And Luigi wants to play rock simulator..." He nods as he pulls the game out and Mario sighs in annoyance. "Welp I'm done." He pulls out a gun and shoots his head off.

Karen is watching her kids on the playground when Smg4 appears. "Hey Karen! Check out my child! Isn't he adorable!" Beeg makes an "EUGH" sound, but when he sees the cat lady, his eyebrows turn to fury. He must have gotten this grievance during the ice cream situation because Beeg takes a huge boot and kicks her, storming off. Karen gets up and glares at Four, who laughs nervously. "Uhhh..." She slaps him and then walks off. She then runs into the two meme guardians as they hold hands. Her kids start floating and disappear in a wave of light. Karen blinks a few times, but then cheers "I'M FREE!" She then runs off to make use of her time.

Who can go the longest without insulting each other?

"What!? That's literally impossible! He s-" Three quickly refrains from his sentence, knowing full well what will happen if he finishes it. "I mean he's..." He tries to cover it up by saying a nice compliment instead. "He..." Sweat drips down his body as Three tries to think of something, but when you're standing in front of your ex-rival that's pretty much a gamble. "He's...AN IDIOT FOR GETTING TRICKED TWICE BY THE SAME GUY!" Three was concerned for Four's safety, but all he could think of in that moment for some reason was how stupid he was for being conned by Mr Puzzles so easily.

Who can listen to Whimpu talk about anime the longest?

"Finally some friends to listen about my ideas for furry anime mommy's!" Whimpu started pulling out his computer and searching for all his favorite ships. "Really!? Do you love Miku!" The boy gasped as he couldn't believe someone knew about that. "YES! HAVE YOU MET HER!" Boopkins nodded as he described how Three had helped him on a date with her. While the two were talking, Four watched with disinterest and walked off. "I want to die."

The two friends appeared and Mario's eyes lit up. "OOOOOO MARIO REMEMBERS THIS EPISODE! MARIO HAD TO RESCUE SMG4 AND SMG3 AND THEY-" Four put a finger up to his mouth and whispered "Not another word..." It was too late as the two of them turned to find the episode had started playing. Everything was fine until it was time for that 6:50 moment where the most haunting memory that lived in Four's mind was right in front of him. His eyes started to burn as he screamed in agony. He could have sworn it was only a few seconds, but to him it was hours as he melted into a puddle. Mario watched and said to the camera "Ahh the gay boi's make Mario so happy!"

The simulation was finally over as they were all transported back to the same setting from which they started. It all started as a blur as the memory of what happened slowly started to sink in. Mr Puzzles clapped slowly. "My My. What an outstanding job all of you have done. As much as I love a good show, it's time to finally end it once and for all. I think this one's gonna be my favorite!"

It was time for a final standoff as all the characters got ready for a real showstopper battle.

Meggy: "Our hour is here and these fears are growing dim. Release us from your grasp! Your show has reached its point at the end of the day!"

Mr Puzzles: "My final bow will never pass. I manipulate for my gain. Don't try to pull me apart in your little reign. I will render your lives into surrender and then it's time for the sequel!"

Mario: "Hello Mr TV Man! I heard you see us as your performance! Why keep putting up this fight when we all know you lost the game! Just admit you've been beat and let us go! Iv'e got a deal for you that offers some spaghetti!"

Nightmare Smg4: "Would you all just quit already. Your victory is just a facade. Feeble attempts and protection only makes my power grow. Where's the fun and laughter you promised long ago? I'm the biggest star of this show! Who needs friends when you've got foes?"

Smg3: "Do you really think all that talk is gonna make me cry? You make your audience want to die. Looks like you're the one who stepped in the trap when no one's left in your grasp. Cause I can tell that this plan is just gonna get you banned."

Luigi: "Sorry, if we made you mad, but your antics have made us sad."

Bob: "NO WAY! HIS LACK OF MONEY HAS MADE ME SICK!"

Tari: "Hold on Smg4! We will save you, just be brave!"

Nightmare Smg4: "NO! STOP! IT HAS TO BE PERFECT!"

Melony: "Renounce your deal with our friend. Release us from your grasp! Your force has perished in your fire of darkness!"

Meggy: "The nightmares show us nothing but high hopes. The finish line is near."

Mr Puzzles: "Impossible! I will eradicate you from existence...existence!"

Smg3: "I'm sorry but is this is your final attack? How can you call yourself a villain when explosives aren't number one!"

Mr Puzzles: "You've made a fatal mistake. Just give up before you cause more harm. Now watch your final moments that are never forgettable.

Boopkins: "Mr Puzzles, we've done this all to be reunited and now I think that someone needs a hug!"

Mr Puzzles: "You can't give me a fright when other's terror makes me bright. Just abandon all your endeavor before you lose your friend forever!"

Smg2: "We won't fall for your tricks even when you're slick."

Smg1: "Time to do what we should have done long ago!"

One, Two, and Three all join hands as their powers combine, making the crew glow in their signature colors.

Mr Puzzles: "NO! STOP! I'LL MAKE AN OFFER YOU CAN'T REFUSE! I WON'T ALLOW THE ENTERTAINMENT TO STOP NOW!"

Mario: "Oh boy! Can't you see? This is just a simulation! You just landed in Mario's epic fun time game! Boys and girls, let's say so long to this gay bowser! Let the credits roll and Let's a go!"

Saiko: "Your final act is closing now! Release us from your grasp! Your puppets can't make the cut, so time to say farewell!"

Mr Puzzles: "Risking everything all just for him? You'll be banished in a flash! When will you learn that oppression is what conquers?"

Smg3: "Just shut it with your little speech because you fail to intimidate. Release Four and return our home! The curtains drop and applause is silent. Seems like the show is at its close."

As the beam of energy gets larger, they all say one final thing to this washed up TV.

The Crew: "Let us go! Release us from your grasp!"

The TV Adware shields his eyes, but opens them to find that rays of meme powers have hit Smg4. One speaks in a commanding voice to the corrupted man. "Your darkness cannot survive in our energy! Loosen your grip on Smg4's heart and let him speak!" The pink cracks on his face slowly began to melt away as the true Four was awakening. "You...guys came back? You didn't forget about me?" Saiko rolled her eyes and said "God, this guy really infected your brain didn't he?" The monstrous shadow was vanishing as tears began to form in his eyes.

"You mean you didn't replace or reject me?" Tari smiled and said "Of course not! Why would you think that?" Now Four was back in his normal form, but a dark cloud was surrounding him as he was curled up on his knees, holding his head with his hands in pain. "I thought that you would never forgive me for what I did. I wanted to forget it!" Meggy lost her concentration as she cried "FOUR!" Mr Puzzles stomped his foot hard and yelled "ENOUGH! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HELP ANYMORE THAN I WILL MAKE YOU JOIN ME!" The corrupted version slowly returned as the crew's energy was running out.

"Please no! I don't want to go back! I was so sad and lonely and I wasn't helping anyone! I was hurting them! HELP!" The connection couldn't be held anymore as the glow that clung to them had disappeared. "No! We were so close!" Nightmare Four was back as he grinned in splendor. Mr Puzzles cackled and said "There is no power that can stop me now! You are all mine! You will be remembered Smg4, but as my darkest and cruelest partner that was ever known!" Meggy shot back "He will never be forgotten!"

She helped up her friends and told them "Guys listen! Four is scared that he will be forgotten. We must remember our memories with him or he will give into the darkness forever!" They all nodded and closed their eyes. "That's it! Remember something you love about him!" She thought of the time she had helped Smg4 from his copyright by becoming a lawyer. Mario giggled as he thought of the time where he found Smg3 and him "hugging" in the igloo. Tari remembered when he played video games with her, Bob when he had stopped the rat infestation in the castle, Boopkins when he had played Mario kart and kept getting ties, Luigi when Four told him he was forklift certified, Saiko when they had a rock competition together, Melony when he had helped save her during the face-off with Zer0, and the other supporting characters did as well with details we don't really have to go through.

"You'll always be special to us Smg4!" The light that was created, trapped Four. Mr Puzzles tried to stop it, but he got caught in the crossfire as his screen started to crack. Smg3 took out the remains of his notebook drawing and held it close to his chest. "You mean everything to me Smg4..." He didn't remember just one, but thousands of memories of them together on crazy adventures which deep down he always enjoyed. "I...love you Four. Please come back."

The light exploded and vanquished the darkness, sending Mr Puzzles flying. As his screen shattered into a million pieces, he cried out "NOOOOOO!!!!" (HAH! WHO'S LOW QUALITY NOW SUCKER!) Three ran towards the explosion as he screamed "FOUR!" He saw him laying on the ground in an unconscious state. His eyes shot open as it didn't take long for them to fill with tears."How could I have done that? I believed his lies and let my insecurity get the better of me again. I'm so sorry!" Three was so relieved that he was okay that he threw his arms around Four and pulled him into a embrace.

"I'm so sorry Three! I'm so-"

"Shhhh." Three rubbed his back while tears of his own streamed down his cheeks. "I owe you an apology. I shouldn't have left you. This isn't your fault." Four hugged back as he said "It's not yours either." They looked into each others eyes and Four replied "I love you too..." They softly kissed on the lips while all of their friends came over to congratulate them and very happy to see that Four was okay. "Ha! Mario totally called it!"

Four wiped his eyes and said "Thank you all for reminding me that I am irreplaceable to my friends!"

~A few hours later~

Smg1 and Smg2 waved as they took all the creatures with them. "Don't worry! We'll take good care of them! I think they will liven our place up!" Tari giggled and said "Don't forget to the care of that one. He's a special one." She pointed to the small creature that she had befriended along their journey. One nodded as they went back to their home while the others had a home of their own to take care of.

Three got a brand new notebook and was writing in it at his cafe. Four opened the door and said "Mind if I come in?" Three looked up and said "Sure, but it will cost you a fee." Four rolled his eyes in pleasure and said "Yeah sure." He noticed a page that Three was writing on had a special drawing on it. "What's that?"

"Just something for a special someone." The others came in and Mario said "Mario's hosting a celebration for Smg4's return!" Meggy asked them "You guys want to come?" Three nodded and Four of course had to say yes. It was in his honor after all. Three put his notebook down and they all walked out the door, talking and laughing. The camera panned away from them to the counter where the notebook sat. It showed the specific page that had had a new drawing of Three and Four hugging with a note on the page next to it. The credits rolled as the note read in Three's signature handwriting:

Nightmares are nothing but the fear that live inside of us. Four, you have shown me that we all have the power to defeat it, especially with love. Thank you for these amazing 12 years!

weird fun fact about me: I had a phase where I watched like a fuck ton of among us streams, like not kidding I consumed hours of content

anyways, man, the among us would be insane with these guys

so many of them would hack, Melony in this nebulous place where she would hack to have fun and if she did that in like a public she would probably get kicked or something similar and feel so so sad about it

also the arguments would be SO loud

Mario would be an excellent killer, although very risky

like you would have a fast game with him either because he killed people that fast or because he got caught fast, he's just reckless like that

the 3 and 4 arguments would go crazy, especially when neither of them are the killer but they still vehemently accuse each other. they work great as killer partners though, considering how team work is second nature to them

except if they work too well together, people start questioning and eject them, making it so they have to kind of pretend fight to get out of shit, it's- more or less successful

Meggy is probably the one that likes to keep information straight the most, always trying to figure things out. this comes to bite her in the ass when she's a killer, as she will sometimes accidentally reveal herself to be a liar- not all the time but it's not rare either. Although she tries her best for her killer partners, and would likely sometimes end up protecting them a little too much, once again drawing suspicion

Tari is lethal.... if she was a more brave killer. I actually see her being really good at it, there's also this feeling of "I'm killing my friends and they're gonna find out :(" keeps her back. However in public lobbies she is EXTRA lethal

Saiko goes crazy because killer or not, she acts very similarly, always defending herself, overall a good killer, although I don't know about her team work skills- depends on who she gets paired with. I feel like, to an extent, Tari or Meggy could follow her lead well, she would turn out weirdly good with Mario even if she's not happy about it, if it was 3, she would try to reveal him on purpose, then frames it as gaining other people's trust requiring sacrifices

Shroomy.... probably one of the best killers, he would somehow turn out to be incredibly cunning, though if he goes anti Shroomy he has to try and not let out the Evil in voice chat, especially proximity chat, that would really bite him in the ass. very good survivor though, he loves his tasks in a mind numbing way, like hey murder may be happening but at least I have my silly little tasks to distract me

Belle super good unless she pairs up with someone she doesn't like, however w Tari would go crazy, she would get competitive and try to kill more than Tari. This recklessness does bite her in the ass a lot. She would be pretty bored with tasks, only doing maybe a few but otherwise walking around, trying to see if anyone if anyone is getting murdered

Boopkins is awful at both, which people recognise. However because people recognise he's awful, sometimes he will get away with a kill or 2 because he can sometimes will himself to do things well and people just. don't believe he could've taken that kill so they drop it

Bob gets ejected all the time, somehow always looking sus, he's not even that bad of a player, he is just somehow always sus. Like Bob, why'd you bring up organ trading during an among us sesh? are you channeling your inner killer? He is forever bored with tasks

SMG4 AU Idea: Adventure Time With Meggy and Boopkins

Takes place in a post-Mario-series universe where the world was once again invaded by the Shroobs, and the resulting war led to an apocalypse that decimated both sides. Nearly every civilization fell to ruin, Shroob waste spread all over causing illness and rapid mutation, the heroes of the world all either died, went missing, or worse, a wide assortment of ancient evils were unleashed or reborn all across the globe, and the very rules of Magic were rewritten.

Fast forward a thousand or so years later and we're introduced to Meggy the Human and her younger brother Boopkins the Fish, who've just left their hometown of Port Aurora to become Adventurers on the mainland. They're a bit odd even by the standards of their bizarre world, since humans are believed to have been extinct for centuries, Boopkins has incredible shapeshifting powers, and their dad Joe and aunt Lily are 50-foot-tall ancient guardians of the sea.

One of the first places they end up on their journey is the Mushroom Kingdom, which is currently in a bit of a bind. The Mushroom people's ruler, Princess Apricot Toadstool, has been kidnapped by the evil Fire Lord and his army of monkeys. The Mushroom people would rescue her themselves, but they're not exactly...competent. Well, except for Guard Captain Shroomy, but if both he and Apricot are gone while the Mushrooms are already this wound up the whole kingdom will collapse in about three days. So, First Adventure Time!

After some traveling they get to the volcanic region where Fire Lord's home is and fight their way through the monkey army, and Fire Lord's demonic right-hand minion Saiko, to the Princess...es. Apparently Fire Lord has a whole Thing about princesses and there's a dozen or so in there. One of them is Bob the Thief Princess, who is a guy because there's no rule that says a princess can't be a dude. And if there is one he'll break it because he loves breaking rules.

Anyway, Apricot's with Fire Lord instead of with the other princesses, so Meggy, Boopkins and the princesses storm further into the fortress and find them.

And if you're even slightly familiar with Adventure Time you know just what kind of goofy pathetic nutcase they end up finding. Though Fire Lord is red instead of Ice King's blue, has a jeweled bracelet instead of a crown, and has the additions of incredible jumping abilities and an addiction to spaghetti.

Anyway, there's a big fight (where Apricot ends up with a massive axe somehow and decides she's never letting it go. Yes I'm repurposing Wapeach because It's My House), the good guys win, everyone goes home.

Afterwards, Apricot declares Meggy and Boopkins heroes of the Mushroom Kingdom, and offers to let them stay in her castle, but they decline since they saw a big hollow tree on the way back that they can turn into a Fresh home base.

Of course, when they move in they find out that the place is already occupied by a little camera robot named SuperMemeGenerator4, but he's excited to have some new roommates so it's not a big deal. Also Bob decides to live there too for some reason.

So there's the introduction, now some explanations:

Yes, Fire Lord is (or at least was) Mario. The bracelet he's wearing is basically a fire version of the Ice Crown. I went with him both so he could be a major character despite how long the timeskip is and as a nod to what becoming the Avatar did to him in SMG4 canon. His version of Gunther the Penguin is a monkey in a green vest named Terence. I haven't fully decided why Saiko works for him but I'm thinking it's some sort of Life Debt thing like Han and Chewey in Star Wars.

Since the Shroobs are mushroom aliens the war that ended the world is still called the Great Mushroom War.

Lily's entire backstory is still the same, except the apocalypse and the absence of the Crew means she got found and taken in by Diana, And has very clearly taken up her mantle.

Apart from Fire Lord, Lily, and a few other obvious cases, everybody has their canon ages and personalities. So Meggy and Boopkins ages are swapped from Finn and Jake's, and Apricot is a kid and a very different sort of person from Bubblegum.

Due to that and some other differences, (some obvious, others less so) this AU wouldn't really follow the same story beats as the show.

Melony ends up in Marceline's place in terms of her relationship with Mario/Fire Lord.

Most of the iconic Mario Species are either extinct or mutated/evolved almost beyond recognition, with Boos and Piranha Plants as notable exceptions, and Goombas as a prime example due to now being big pack-hunting apex predators instead of sapient footstools.

Apricot is actually Mario and Peach's however-many-greats granddaughter, and neither her nor Fire Lord are consciously aware of that connection. Apricot because the Apocalypse making it hard to map out family lines that far and Fire Lord because he doesn't remember that he's Mario and wasn't aware before All That that Peach was pregnant. Also, Apricot isn't considered human due to a mix of mutations during the apocalypse, interspecies relationships, and the fact that I'm convinced that Peach is half-Toad already (both here and in actual Mario canon). It'll be more obvious that she's not human if I ever draw her.

When SMG3 and Tari get introduced it's going to be as the previous iteration of SMG4's design and as an Android created by the same scientist who built the two of them.

Also, Luigi will eventually get introduced by way of accidentally falling through a one-way time portal, getting sent from E. Gadd's Lab before the War to the story's present day somewhere in the wilderness. His absence was actually a major contributing factor to everything going so horribly wrong. Also since he's Luigi and not Betty, and since the dynamic between twin brothers and fiancés is obviously very different, he's going to have a different reaction to Fire Lord than Betty had to Ice King.
