I’m trying to think of what else would change if Krupp really WAS CU in disguise/his secret identity.

-The extracurricular activities and classes (art and music) would get better support.

-The library is stacked with genuinely good books.

-He’d actually allow the students to vote on themes for the school dance instead of making them sucky on purpose.

-Getting support from the school district wouldn’t be easy though. Especially if the school happens to be a hotspot for bad guys.

-None of the staff knows his secret. Well... maybe Ree suspects something (because I think Ree would pick up on the connection in the canon series).

-Given his experience with having been bullied/humiliated as a kid, I don’t think Benjamin would tolerate it OR participate in it like in the series.

-I think Benjamin would do better at hiring people who DO have the required credentials. Like if he had the aliens disguised as humans like in book three, he’d know something was off and flat out go onto the next applicant.

-Like if hiring Poopypants played out like it did in the movie, he would know that he’s not going to hire the guy the second he starts throwing weapons out, and alarm bells would ring when he’s claiming to be a ‘mad genius inventor.’ (Alternatively, he could hire him and then ask the boys to observe him).

-Alternatively if it played out in the books, I think he’d have a word with the students about making fun of others’ names.

-And then there’s what could happen if Murdsley shows up. The guy would be in for one hell of a beat down when Benjamin/CU realizes what he did (and made HIM do when he forgot who he was) out of petty revenge.

-I imagine it would take a LOT more for Melvinborg to get him fired. And in the event Benjamin would come back, he’d have to play along and act stupid while trying to figure out how to get rid of him.

-Still not happy about losing his office though.

-And he’d probably get really mad with the whole nanobot incident, considering what that almost did to him.

-If book 5 happened, he’d STILL react the way he did over the fake proposal.

-I admit it would be funny if starch spray WAS indeed his weakness to the point he actively avoids it.

-Book 12 NEVER HAPPENS!

-Well, maybe the boys get to meet their future intendeds another way.

(-IDK maybe Lisa and Billy are friends with an adult who isn’t who they appear to be on first glance either).

-The carnival scene doesn’t happen either. There’s no reason for it this time around.

-I don’t think Benjamin would be as obsessed about appearances as his series self, so maybe he doesn’t have a closet full of wigs. Unless you guys think he’d use them as disguises (and George and Harold have fun with this).

-I bet it would KILL him that he can’t interact with the other kids as their principal like he interacts with them as CU. Like he genuinely likes kids, but he has to keep up this ‘no-nonsense’ front to avoid suspicion whenever he’s out in public.

-Except he’s gradually able to let his walls down around George and Harold and is free to be his true self around them under the right circumstances.

-That doesn’t mean he’s going to take them all the way to Florida or California to see the dolphins.

–Once he discovered his true heritage, I think he would stop trying to seek out Bernice’s  approval/affection. His true parental substitutes were those who did care about him and supported him like his dad.

-I’m not sure his relationship with Kipper would be as it was in the books. If he can’t tolerate bullying then he also can’t allow favoritism towards his nephew and his pals and that would put a serious strain on the two’s relationship. (Kids who think they are entitled or that they can get away with things can be huge brats over a lot). He never told his brother the truth and a part of him wanted to tell Kipper, but the more the kid proved that he wouldn’t be the best secret keeper, the more he kept it in.

-Which makes me realize that his relationship with the boys was what he was hoping for with his nephew.

-Oh god, but if Jasper works at the news station like that one popular headcanon (that Pilkey confirmed/allowed?), Benjamin/CU would be doing ANYTHING to avoid him getting a good look at his face if he’s on the scene.

-He’s still not so good at flirting as Krupp. It’s easier as CU.

-Though I think he’d have a hard time dating anyone. Not just because of the possibility of finding out the truth and being shy, but because he’s sure he would never be taken seriously ever again if that person did find out he was CU.

-George and Harold’s reasonings to go back in time to see Benjamin as a child would of course be for different reasons.

-Though I wouldn’t be surprised if they tried going back in time to his home planet before it was destroyed (Oh my god, imagine the possibilities for that one).
