Honestly the more I think about it the more I really think the sun and moon dew mushroom rlly should've been an amorphophallus instead

ok, yyh rewatch, my headcanon is that Genkai didn't tell Kaito that Kurama's an ancient fox demon in a human suit

mainly because the idea of Kaito finding out, like, a week later that Kurama was 1000% serious with his "I'll show you pain" speech and the only reason he didn't jump straight to Plan Torture and Murder was because he's technically still on probation and playing the game was less of a bother than spirit world paperwork, is so fucking funny to me
