You make great art!
Your opinions on Viâs alternate designs?
I could stare at her all day. Perfection.
Design wise? Her final one is (chef's kiss) SUCH a good balance of showing and contrasting Violetâs personality.
And the alternates show why!
Sheâs a nerd. Shorthand for that is usually glasses, as seen in almost all her alternative designs. (Think Velma from Scooby Doo.) Not a bad trope.
But at the same time, does her character need a visual short hand for smartness?
Just the way Violet SPEAKS tells you sheâs a nerd. She uses big words, and calls people by their full names. When we first meet her itâs in a LIBRARY and her and Webby instantly start switching between various ancient languages.
We donât need glasses to know she smart and a nerd.
So unless the show is willing to commit to some moments or gags where Violet loses her glasses / takes them off specifically not to see something / cleans them regularly as a character tick (think Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Conservation of Character Design says get rid of them.
Which the show creators did.
(also her introduction scene includes Quackfaster, and I appreciate that, instead of them both wearing glasses- a thing that isn't actually about smartness literally it's just wanting to be able to see- the thing Violet shares with the Terrifying Librarian is... hair tie / hair band, including the color thereof.)
(It's a more personal choice. And it's message is "Practical")
Next is clothing style. Most of her alternates have a more fancy, âoutfitâ kinda look to them. Like this is something she put together to get a specific Look. Nothing wrong with that. Nerds can be fashionable (Ellie Woods queen thereof).
But⊠there isnât anything in Violetâs personality, story, or situation that connects to that idea.
Her things are Books, Learning, Forbidden Magics, Honorable Conduct in Contests and Duels, Adopting Stray Shadow Teens Off The Street As Her New Sister, Brining Pie To A Sleepover, Smacking Invading Moon People With A Spiked Mace, and Using Tibetan Breathing Techniques To Survive Eating Three Bowls Of Deadly Hot Spices In A Row.
The closest she gets to caring about her appearance is when her and Webby (and then her and Lena) put on gruesome costume make up and prosthetics for fun.
So a snazzy outfit, while cool, doesnât really⊠jive with the vibe of Violet Sabrewing.
Nerd clothes, like a vest, isnât needed the same reason glasses arenât. Also the details would be a pain to draw over and over again. Even Webbyâs clothes donât have that much little bits in them.
High collars again look cool⊠but Lenaâs already got that covered. Stand them next to each other, and whereâs the contrast?
Violet wouldnât âpopâ next to Lena if they had that on top of Violetâs dark color scheme and Lenaâs dark sweater.
Wearing the same thing (to show characters are connected to each other) works best when either the color or the style DOES contrast sharply
(Huey Louie Dewy and May June wearing basically the same thing as their siblings, but in very different colors)
(side note Iâll make a separate thing for someday: Lena and Webby with button down collar shirts worn under something, but with different style, effect, and colors)
The leggings are seen on two of Violets alternates and I think that got picked for Meta Simplicity and also In-Character Practicality.
Theyâre athletic, the kind of thing that isnât at risk of snagging on stuff (befitting an eventual Senior Junior Woodchuck), and the dark color balances out with her hair. And theyâre VERY easy to draw. Very good!
Sweater.
Sweater with turtle neck (unless itâs one of those very loose ones) usually gets used as shorthand for âComfort over Appearanceâ (Velma again, contrasting Daphne)
And in this case itâs a contrast with Lena who LOOKS like she doesnât care at first glance but actually has put maybe the most effort into her outfit (sweater stolen from favorite band, dyed her hair, wears bright colored converse in a world where most people go bare foot)
and Webby, who is wearing basically a uniform (picked by her Granny or by herself while daydreaming of experiencing Normal School Things???)
So to balance out Lenaâs rebel teen punk look, and Webbyâs prim and proper look, Violet has a comfort and practicality look.
BUT!
They kept the eyeshadow.
A VERY GOOD MOVE.
See, eyeshadow on someone who wears an âoutfitâ (Lena, Daisy) says fashion minded and image conscious.
(this includes Beakly the former spy taking up the role of grandmother).
Eyeshadow on someone who wears a non-snazzy turtle neck and legging with her hair tied away from her face in a simple ponytail says something else completely-
It says, Violet likes eyeshadow, and that is the ONLY reason she wears it.
Either she doesnât notice that itâs unusual to do this, or she doesnât care. Â
THAT is showing her personality.
If itâs that she doesnât know itâs unusual, then that fits with her in the Woodchuck Challenge not knowing about smack talk until Lena teaches her, and in Friendship Hates Magic brining a pie to a sleepover, and in The Split Sword of Swanstantine wondering in the middle of a fight if she should change in to more occasion appropriate clothes instead of, you know, running.
Smart yes, savvy to social norms? Not so much.
If itâs that she doesnât care, then that fits with her direct and blunt way of getting what she wants out of situations, never mind others' objections-
-Instantly running to Webbyâs loft so she can see the picture of the demon lord and confirm the crookedness of his fang, repeatedly pressing for using the runes to try contacting the shadow realm despite Webbyâs nervous boggle deflections, happily employing smack talk so she can learn it properly without stopping to ask what itâs effect on her competitor might be..
So the clothes of her final design all work really, REALLY well telling new parts of Violetâs personality, without just repeating what weâd instantly know from listening to her talk for half a minute.
Hair.
One of her alternates has loose floofy hair, which I imagine is what canon her would look like without the hair tie, and it rocks.
But the hair tie is kinda important.
Violet isnât a book nerd who never leaves the library- Sheâs active, she gets in the thick of things, sheâs happy to jump in a fight, and sheâs a Junior Woodchuck. Practicality, again, makes more sense. Keeping her hair out of her face works with her character.
Her little flop of bangs is really fun to me too because⊠wellâŠ. It reminds me of Lena. Â
Again, itâs different enough to pop while the two stand together, but itâs there. Lena has flopped bang thing. Violet has a curly bang thing. They are sisters. Itâs cute!
Also helps her silhouette stand out more against Webby and Lena, whoâs hair is pretty smooth and down in general. Gives her this sharp thing that moves around and makes her extra easy to pick out, even when you just see part of her head. Important for a main side-character.
If you're going to add detail, add it to the silhouette -> very big visual payoff.
Colors! COLORS!!!!
Already mentioned the pants balancing her hair nicely, dark on top, dark below, but then thereâs her eyeshadow and sweater!
They ALSO tie her with Lena!!!!
Lenaâs shirt, hidden under her sweater, is pale blue- the same color her friendship magic is later- itâs the color of Lena being happy and being connected to people.
And Violetâs eyeshadow, is also blue? And Lenaâs eyeshadow is purple! Like Violet!
Eyeshadow! That thing both her and Lena wear, them the Sabrewing Sisters, but Webby doesnât!
Thatâs so cool! Thatâs a way to show a connection between them AND their personal tastes, before they even become family! And once they ARE family it helps them visually LOOK like one!
Also, Violetâs green sweater?
Again weâve got the color contrast compliment thing (huey red dewy blue louie green) this time with Team Magic: Webby pink, Lena blue, Violet green. It helps them feel⊠individual in scenes theyâre all in frame together, while also making them look good next to each other.
The choice of all of team magicâs colors to be either more pastel or duller than the Primary Colors Trio also lets all six of them work together visually, like in Nightmare on Killmoter Hill.
But again, LENA.
Lena has two other bright colors tucked into her design, aside from her pale blue. Â
The pink in her hair (visual cue to Webby) and her lime green shoes. Green. GREEN. Itâs enough of an important color for it to ALSO be in her friendship bracelet.
And itâs the main color Violet, her adopted little sister, wears.
Oh my heartâŠ.
Finally, itâs looks like they tested out ideas of Violet being some kind of, parrot maybe, or wren, or such.
I love her being a humming bird for one very queer reason.
Female violet sabrewing humming birds are actually green, not purple.
And Violet.
Is purple.
Just like her dads.
(also name puns for the win yeeeeessss)
So on the whole, looking at the designs Violet could have had, I guess Iâd say theyâd make nice occasional outfits for her...
but if youâre going to make her an important supporting member of the cast and if you have to draw her over and over again, almost always with the same other two characters⊠and if those characters are Webby and Lena...
Then they picked exactly the right design to go with <3

"interest"
Take care, and good night. Make sure to hold me tight and never let go.
"I said not to let go of me...didn't I?"
(doll(?)!cael, cael x little painter, little painter in 2nd pov, tragedy, slight yandere cael????, simple, word vomit idk what happened, inspired by Rope's "Interest Meme", 1.2k words)
You are happy everyday, and it's all thanks to the pretty doll your mother gave you.
"Happy birthday!"
In her hands, a silver fox doll sits obediently within her palms. As if saying hi, you see its ears rustle.
"Thank you, mom!"
You take the doll from her hands and hold it tight to your chest, saying;
"I'll be sure to take good care of it."
You don't ask her where she got it from.
Whatever the case is, you'll be sure to play with it. Holding it up to the sky, you make your future plans, one tea party a day, and a new coat to be sewn by your hand every week, so that this doll may never be bored.
"I think I'll name you...Cael!"
You press your cheek against the doll, breathing in the scent of fresh fabric and flowers, and you giggle.
"Let's have lots of fun together no matter what okay?"
"Hey Cael, today was awful."
You pout, lying over the table as you set him up facing towards you. He sits there silently, listening to your woes without a sound.
"Two of my closest friends fought with each other, I couldn't take it and started crying. Then they started blaming each other again."
You've never liked conflict, and thinking about how your friends are probably never going to talk to each other again, you tear up.
"What if they ask me to pick a side?"
You lament to him without reservation, and the mere presence of him is more than comforting so you continue to talk with no signs of stopping.
"What if I lose all of my friends?"
The side of your head is pressed against the table and you look up to see vaguely see his button eyes shine and gleam. Maybe it's a trick of the light, you think, and don't give it another thought.
"But everything should be fine!"
You stand up energetically, balling your fists and lifting your head to the sky.
"Because no matter what, I'll still have you!"
'No matter what, I'll always be your friend.'
You don't stop talking to him just yet.
"I'm afraid of nightmares."
You hold Cael close to your chest, and your voice is the most despondent that it has ever been, as you express your greatest worry.
"Mom hasn't been feeling well. She says that she'll be fine, but I saw her coughing up blood the other day."
You tighten your grip on him, asking him for comfort as you always have.
"What if she dies in my dreams? My classmates like to say that dreams can make the future come true so if that really happens..."
You can't stop the tears from flowing down your cheeks. So you sniffle, trying to hold everything in but you can't and start sobbing.
"I don't want to lose her, she's my only family. I have no one else."
Your tears stream down in waves for hours and by the time you're done, your pillow is soaked.
But for some reason the silver fox doll remains dry.
"You'll always stay with me, right?"
You're tired, and finally doze off as you ask him a question you know you won't hear him answer for the nth time, but as your eyes close, you hear something.
"Yes."
You wake up tomorrow not remembering a thing.
Every day, you have tea time with Cael and prepare strawberry scones and jasmine tea, before every tea party, you dress yourself up and bow in a curtsy, greeting him like the princess of a castle.
Every week, you sew him new suits and coats of all colours, and most of your favourite combinations often include white and purple. You think it makes him look elegant, and spare no effort in each design.
But soon, those coats and suits will gather dust, and the tablecloth over the tea table shall be replaced with a new pattern to accommodate your new toy.
You are happy every day, and it's all thanks to the pretty doll your mother gave you.
"Happy Birthday."
Your mother presents to you your 13th doll with a weary smile. Her youthful vigor had long been replaced by the wrinkles of time, but even that doesn't explain the exhaustion and effort in which she speaks with.
"Thank you, mom."
You try your best not to cry as you take the new doll from her arms, and toss your old one into a box filled with forgotten friends.
At the very least, you shouldn't worry her and put on a smile.
"Do you want to know why your mother died?"
You stare up at the mysterious man in front of you, his white hair and amethyst eyes contrasting the gloomy scene drenched in black, rain, and white flowers scattered over a coffin. He is beautiful, ethereally so, reminding you of a fairy from the storybooks you'd read aloud to your dolls every night.
"It was because she invoked my curse."
He bends down to look you in the eye at an even level, speaking gently and softly, and you think it is the sweetest sounding curse you have ever heard.
"It is as the old legends say, those who betray the fae are sentenced to have their lives cut short, and your motherâno matter how powerful she wasâis no exception."
He lifts your chin up with one finger, treating you as gently as you did with him.
"I'm sorry."
Your voice is hoarse from crying, and you sincerely apologize to him. But he shakes his head.
"I'm grateful to your mother. Even though I had spent many years trapped inside that doll, meeting you was the greatest thing in my life."
His eyes are filled with affection, and he strokes your hair in warm, comforting movements, expressing his adoration for you.
"So it's my turn to make you happy."
"Good night."
You are happy everyday, and it's all thanks to the old doll your deceased mother gave you.
"Happy birthday."
He brings you over to a tea table filled with fresh scones and your favourite drinks. You sit down wearing a gown he designed specially for youâwhite with purple laces, his colour. As tea time starts, Cael bows to you like a prince from a fairytale. He takes a seat.
"Did you know that faes mate for life?"
He smiles at you from across the table, resting his chin on his folded hands as he stares at you endearingly.
"So please be assured, I have no intentions of ever leaving you. But even then..."
He leans forward to hold your hand.
"You're still afraid of me aren't you? That I'll abandon you the same way you did to me."
Finally, you show signs of life and flinch imperceptibly. Guilt bears down on you like a heavy chain of sin, and you lower your head even further.
"I'm really sorry, I shouldn't have treated you like that."
"What are you talking about?"
He comes over to you and holds you close, presses his cheek against yours the same way you did to him when you first met.
"Well, you shouldn't think about that right now, you must still be in grief." And when he brings up your mother, tears well up in your eyes again as he hugs you, trying to comfort you.
"You can hold me tight, and dream a nice dream."

kei has splinters in his fingers.
he sets down his tools, combing an aching hand through his blonde curls. glancing over at the analog clock on the wall, he sees that it's less than a minute to midnight. as he sits and stares, the second hand ticks slowly towards the upright position. signaling the start of the new day, the twenty-seventh of september.
happy birthday to me, he thinks dully.
as if on cue, his phone pings loudly in the dark room, startling him from his half-asleep stupor. he assumes it's probably one of his sleep-deprived contacts wishing him a happy twentieth, but he opens his messages and sees it's from bokuto in the group chat. strange, because he should be getting wasted at the club right about now-
the club she has a gig at.
interestingly, it turns out to be a video of bokuto's wild dancing - keiâs initial questions are answered when the camera pans around to show an equally hammered atsumu screaming something unintelligible into the camera. just as soon as he appears, the camera is flipped to show the stage where the band plays their hearts out to some rock song. âTSUKKI!â he can hear hinata yelling. âIT'S LIT HERE!â
he sends a message of his own: do you have a designated driver? bokuto responds soon after with: hi, this is sakusa. i have my own idiots to bring home. would you mind picking them up when you can?
be there by 1, he types out. donât think iâm rushing over there just for your dumbasses. he chuckles slightly at his friendsâ antics - oh, heâd never be caught dead acting so sappy in front of them - and starts to wish heâd come along with them. even if it meant having to see you.
and even that might not be so bad after all.
his phone pings again.Â
itâs tadashi. of course itâs tadashi. heâs a good friend, better than kei deserves, because unlike himself, he hasnât let their literal and metaphorical distance divide them as best friends. waseda students are crazy busy, and yet heâs the one whoâs been leaving his friend on read.Â
happy birthday, tsukki! hope everything goes well for you this next year.
and below that:
i miss you, you know. i really do.
thatâs enough to make kei feel as if his heart's been pierced by an arrow.Â
shaking his head, he picks up his tools and gets back to work. his lithe, slender fingers smooth over the wooden reed when he's done, and he blows into it to find that it produces just the right sound. itâs quickly drowned out the shrill ringing of his phone, though, signaling that an unknown number has called him. sighing, he presses the âacceptâ button, placing the mystery caller on speaker. âhello?â he says.
âhey, this is tsukishima, right?â
he freezes.Â
why is she calling him at midnight on a saturday when sheâs supposed to be playing music for about a hundred other people?
âi donât have all day, tsukishima!â she snaps, derailing his trail of thought. âlisten, kuroo got in a brawl with some⊠some sick creep. i think his nose might be broken.â
âwhose nose?â he finds himself asking unsympathetically, a smirk on his face. âthe guyâs or kurooâs?â
she lets out an frustrated sigh, and her breaths are shaky with repressed anger as she murmurs into her phoneâs mic. âyou think i give a damn what happens to that middle-aged perv? look, just swing by and pick kuroo up, okay?â
âokay, fine, iâm on my way right now,â kei replies testily, stuffing his car keys into the pocket of his messenger bag and slinging it over his shoulder. âtokyo red, right?âÂ
she confirms, repeating the exact address for him in a clipped tone, then hangs up abruptly.
insufferable brat.
he drives for about half an hour to get there, parking on the sidewalk outside the club where he hears the bass thundering out into the empty street - yakuâs doing, most definitely - and the melodious sounds of a muted electric guitar. getting in is easy enough - the bouncer simply nods at him, and he pushes through the double doors into the building.
she locks eyes with him from across the room almost immediately, yelling something to her bandmates on stage before setting her guitar down and hopping off the raised platform to make her way to him. kei tries to push his way to the front of the room, but he only makes it halfway before sheâs slamming into his chest, seemingly spit out by the crowd dancing around them. she pulls back immediately, stumbling as far back as she can go.Â
her hair is slightly mussed, and her cheeks are flushed. her skin is radiant and glowing, a flush covering her face down to her bare shoulders. maybe itâs from the excitement of performing, or sheâs had a couple of shots. maybe itâs both. âsakusa's already brought kuroo to the hospital,â she tries to say over the noise.Â
kei feels a twinge of annoyance. they didn't even think to tell him before he rushed over? âthen what the hell am i here for?â he shoots back sardonically.
she glares up at him, her expression saying youâd better stop talking while you can. âhe started showing symptoms of a major concussion, so we thought itâd be best to send him off first.â
he nods grudgingly. âwhat did they fight over?â
her eyes flick down to the ground, then back up again. âa guy threw a beer can at my head, then tried to climb onto the stage to grope me. kuroo was sitting in the front row and just⊠went to town on the guy.â her expression is equal parts guilty and bitter, and kei decides he'd rather not say anything that lands him in the hospital alongside kuroo. âsorry to drag you all the way down here, birthday boy.â she practically spits the last two words out, tone laced with venom.
how does she know that?
âwhat, am i not allowed to know things now?â she says dryly, as if she's read his mind. âi suppose i should buy you a drink or something. what do you like?â
âi don't drink,â kei says curtly, but finds himself following her over to the bar anyway.
âjust as well, you are the designated driver after all. root beer, then,â she declares gamely, ordering one alongside a tequila shot for herself. they sit in awkward silence together, knees almost brushing as they face each other. kei sees suna staring at them from up on stage. he averts his eyes immediately.
he sips his drink. âdid you have fun with kuroo at least?â he watches her expression sour, her eyes narrowing at him over the rim of her glass. âthat's none of your business,â she snips.
âlooks like you were looking to go home with him tonight, huh?â he jabs, his own tone growing confrontational as a grin stretches his face. âtoo bad your plans were ruined.â
she lets out an incredulous scoff, downing her shot and slamming the tiny glass down on the table. âgave you one more chance,â she mutters as she hops off the bar stool, brushing past him. âthat was my mistake.â
he looks at her departing form, and a twinge of guilt at antagonising her arises in his chest. he pushes down the unpleasant feeling, sipping on his drink. he canât help but feel it was his mistake, too, coming here tonight.

MysticTober Day 5: Blind Date
Prompt: Jumin's Birthday / Date Night
Characters: Full RFA (sans Rika)
Wordcount: 864
Author's Notes: Sometimes you just need a cute found family ficlet, ok?
You can read this on Ao3 if you want!
Jumin took another sip of his wine and seriously considered the woman across the table from him. She looked like someone had handed her a blurry photograph of Assistant Kang and told her to âbe thisâ.
âSo, what are your goals in life?â He asked, once theyâd ordered dinner - himself, his usual steak, her âjust a small salad, pleaseâ. As though that would be enough calories to properly nourish her.
âI just want to stay at home and raise a family.â She said, and then clumsily batted her eyelashes at him.
He wasnât gay, but he almost wished he was.
âDo you have any hobbies?â He asked, trying to get any kind of a response that wasn't just blind simpering obedience. "None worth mentioning."
âI will be gone often on business, and unable to take you along with me. What will you do while I am gone?â
âOh, take care of the house, of course. And our eventual children."
He sighed. âIf I were to buy you a new dress, what designer would you prefer?â
âOh, I trust your eye for fashion, Jumin.â So, fashion wasnât something she appreciatedâŠ
âIf we were to go on a trip, where would you like to go?â She perked up just a little bit at that question, but he soon realized it was because the waitstaff were bringing dinner, not because of what he asked, as her response failed to please him, again.
âAnywhere you want to go is fine by me, Iâm sure you need a vacation what with how hard you work!â
Their food arrived, and he picked at it dispassionately. The catch of the day had more personality than this woman. She practically inhaled her salad, looking as though sheâd both never eaten a day in her life and never heard of table manners. Heâd had enough.
âThank you.â He said, standing. âI have somewhere else I need to be.â
He nodded to the waitstaff, who knew the situation well and would simply put dinner against the card he had on file with them, and walked out.
On the drive back to his apartment, Jumin logged into the RFA chat, hoping to see some friendly faces, but the chatroom was completely empty. Driver Kim attempted to cheer him up, but it did nothing. Another birthday spent drinking port alone on his balcony, it looked like.
Sevenâs phone alerted him to the fact that Jumin had checked into the RFA chat, which was empty, just as predicted.
âAlright everyone, looks like heâs on the way back. Is everything ready?â
Around Juminâs penthouse, everyone was arrayed, dressed normally except for the coordinating pairs of cat ears on top of each of their heads.
Yoosung and Jaehee had made drinks and snacks, Zen had compiled a playlist of piano music for the background, and Seven had brought some social board games to play, in case they couldnât think of enough things to talk about. Even V was there, Elizabeth the 3rd sleeping on his lap like the queen she was. And every single one of them had agreed to wear cat ears in homage to Jumin Han on this, his birthday.
It didnât take long for Jumin to arrive, tapping in the passcode to his apartment, the rhythm somehow elegant despite it simply being button presses. Â Elizabeth heard the sound and jumped off of Vâs lap, going to greet Jumin at the door as if she were a dog. Â Initially, the man did not notice anything amiss in his home, he simply smiled and greeted his cat, and then he looked up and locked eyes with Zen, then glanced around and noticed the rest of the RFA. In his home. Wearing cat ears.
âWhat are you all doing here?â He asked, quietly.Â
âHappy birthday!â everyone replied, unpracticed but joyful nonetheless. Yoosung popped a confetti popper at him, and Jumin shook his head, a soft smile playing at his lips.
âWhat would you all done if Iâd actually had a successful date and brought a woman back late tonight instead of coming home early to be with my cat?â He asked, honestly curious.
âGotten the hell out of the way, trust fund.â Zen said with a wink.
âYou go on blind dates once a week at this point, Mr. Han.â Jaehee said with a raised eyebrow. âIf you were going to find the one, I have my doubts that it is going to be at one of these arranged dinners.â
âHear, hear.â V said, chuckling.
âAh, V!â Jumin said, his eyes lighting up. âYouâre here as well⊠wait a minute.â Jumin looked around again. âYouâre all wearing cat ears?â
âWe are!!â Yoosung grinned, and adjusted his.
"Yes, even me." Zen said, as if that were part of the question. "It's your birthday."
âHm.â Jumin looked perturbed.
âWe can take them off if you wantâŠâ Jaehee said, though she seemed legitimately concerned that he wasnât pleased.
âThatâs not it!â Seven said, and reached behind him to grab a pair of classy black ears that heâd set aside special for Jumin. âHere you go, Juju. Now you can match.â
Jumin smiled and took the cat ears, settling them in his hair.
âNow,â He said with a true smile on his face. âWe all look like family.â
Any requests? Hit up my ask box, there's plenty of October left to go.
Happy birthday, Jumin!

And I Lost You (The One I Was Dancinâ With in New York)
Chapter 1: Good Girl, Sad Boy
This is the first part of my submission for @theerasfestlovesquareversion! I was assigned the album Midnights and this fic is inspired by three songs from that album. Hope yâall enjoy!
Read on AO3
ââââââââââââââââââââââââââ-
Marinette straightened the hem on her pink miniskirt as she stood in front of the elevator. Her fingers trembled as she applied a fresh coat of lip gloss to her already stained lips. As the bell chimed and the door opened, she quickly stepped inside. Her hand quivered as she pressed the button for her designated floor.
She stood with her back straight against the wall, taking in deep breaths as to mentally prepare herself. Her eyes followed the numbers as they flashed on the screen. Finally, the elevator stopped and the doors opened.
As she stepped out into the narrow hallway, that was when the nerves really started to hit. Beads of sweat formed on her forehead and her stomach did a few somersaults. She stopped to lean against the wall for a moment as a feeling of uneasiness built up within her chest.
Taking a deep breath, she swallowed hard and closed her eyes. âI can do this, itâll be okay,â she said to herself in a low voice. As the feeling began to pass, she continued walking towards her destination.
This was the first time she would be visiting Alya in her new apartment. Her older sister was away at university and her parents had taken the twins out for the weekend, which gave her the perfect opportunity to throw a small housewarming party.
It didnât take long for Marinette to find the apartment as the sound of loud music seeped out through the walls. She reached a hand up to knock on the door, then retracted it. Alya had actually sent her a text message a few hours earlier saying to just come inside.
After taking just a few more calming breaths, Marinette turned the doorknob and let herself slip inside. She was greeted by a nicely lit room filled with the aroma of snacks and wine.
To her surprise, quite a few people had already arrived. Juleka, Rose, MylĂšne and Alix sat on the couch, glasses of red wine already filling the coffee table. Nathaniel and Marc had made a spot on the floor, where they sat with Kim and Max.
The aforementioned groups waved happily at her as she walked past. Her eyes landed on Alya, who stood near the snack table. Their eyes met and her best friend smiled widely as Marinette began walking towards her.
âThere you are!â Alya said as she pulled her into a hug. âYou havenât answered my texts since this morning, I really thought something had happened to you.â
Marinette felt her face turn cold as a wave of guilt washed over her. âOh, um, yeahâŠâ she looked down at her feet. âSorry about that.â
âAre you okay?â Alya asked, her voice filled with concern. Her eyes widened as it finally hit her. âOhâŠright, yeah, I shouldâve known.â
Marinette looked up at her. âNo, no, itâs not your fault,â she shook her head, her loose bun flopping around. âIâm okay, I promise.â
Alya looked at her with a sad expression. âOkay, well, Iâll take your word for it,â then her smile returned. âAfter all, you are my honored guest tonight.â
Marinette chuckled. âI would be lying if I said that Iâm not nervous, but Iâm trying my best,â she admitted.
âThatâs good enough for me,â Alya patted her on the shoulder. âIâm just happy that you decided to come anyway.â
âHey, Babe,â Nino slipped in behind her and kissed her cheek. âThis party is totally rockinâ! You did such a wonderful job.â His eyes landed on Marinette and he smiled widely. âOh, hey, Marinette! Iâm so happy to see you!â
She smiled shyly. âIâm happy to see you, too,â her voice came out sounding so small. âEverything looks really nice, so far.â
âGlad to hear it, dude!â He grabbed a glass of wine and twirled it around. âHey, Iâll be over at the DJ booth if thereâs any song youâd like me to play.â
She nodded. âIâll keep that in mind.â
Then, she froze.
âHey, Nino, you left these over there,â Adrien came up beside him, a pair of red headphones in his hands. âI think youâre going to need them.â
âThanks, buddy!â Nino said, excitedly as he grabbed them from his hands. âIâll be over there if yâall need me!â He then took off towards the DJ booth.
Adrien. Adrien Agreste. The same Adrien who broke up with her nearly a year ago. Her ex-boyfriend, Adrien, whom she had been avoiding for the past year.
Yet, somehow, she was unable to take her eyes off of him.
The urge to run away built up within her, but it was as if her feet had been glued to the floor. She stood there, her body cemented in its current position. No matter how hard she tried, she was forced to stand there and face the boy whom she once loved so much.
He immediately noticed her staring at him and looked away, nervously rubbing the back of his neck. âUm, hey, Marinette,â he said without even taking one single glance at her. âGlad to see you here.â
The awkward nervousness in his voice did little to soothe her aching nerves. Her heart pounded in her chest as his voice rang in her ears. âH-Hi, AdrienâŠâ her muscles finally allowed her to move and she managed to look away from him. âYeah, I, uh, wanted to be here to support my best friend.â
His eyes shifted towards her and he smiled a little. âOf course, I figured you would,â then he looked over at Alya, who was still awkwardly standing there. âNice party, by the way, Iâm having a lot of fun.â
Alya looked between her two friends and shook her head. âIâm glad to hear that, Adrien!â She said, smiling. âI should probably go get some of the games ready.â
As she turned to leave, Marinette reached out a hand to her. âWait, no! Donât leave me hereâŠâ she then noticed the sad expression on Adrienâs face and caught what she was saying. âYouâŠyou probably need some help with the games, right? Iâd love to help!â
Alya cocked an eyebrow at her, then immediately realized. âOh, yeah, sure, of course,â she grabbed her by the hand, but not before smiling widely at Adrien. âMaybe Nino would like some help at his booth, too?â
Adrien perked up and looked back towards where his best friend was. âMaybe so, I guess I can go check,â he began to turn around. âIâll see you two around then.â
He then walked off and Marinette felt herself breathe a sigh of relief. âOh my god! That was awful!â She exclaimed as Alya dragged her down the hall. âI-I was just frozen, Alya, thatâs what he does to me! And I hate it!â
As Alya opened the door to a nearby closet, she asked, ïżœïżœïżœDo you actually hate it, though?â
Marinette could feel herself becoming irritated, the anger bubbling up inside of her. âOf course I do and you know exactly why,â she said, accepting a box that Alya handed to her.
âBecause he broke your heart, I know,â Alya turned around to face her as she closed the door with her foot. âBut exactly how long did you think youâd be able to avoid him, Marinette? I mean, you already refuse to even look at him in school.â
âAnd I planned on keeping it that way,â her voice became soft, trailing off as she looked down at her feet. âButâŠâ
âBut?â Alya looked at her, her eyebrow raised.
âRecently, Iâve started realizing that I canât keep avoiding him forever,â she admitted. âBut itâs justâŠI dunno.â
âWell, so long as you two arenât at each otherâs throats,â Alya began as they started walking back towards the party. âThen Iâll take the awkward, minimalist conversations.â
Marinette sighed. âI donât hate him, ya know,â she said. âThings are justâŠweird between us.â
âThat thought never even crossed my mind,â Alya said, smiling. âJust give it some time and maybe things will be better between you two eventually.â
As they made it back into the living room, they sat their boxes down in the middle of the floor.
âMaybe, but Iâm not holding my breath,â Marinette said, taking a glance at the boxes that they had been carrying. âWhat is this, by the way?â
Her best friend looked at her with a cheeky grin that made her entire stomach do a flip. âJust a little party game, thatâs all,â she responded, leaning down to open the boxes. âGo on and talk to everybody, I can set it up.â
Marinette stuck her shaky hands into the pockets of her skirt and shifted on her feet. âOkay, I will,â she said, her eyes glancing around the room.
A few more of their friends had arrived while she was busy helping Alya. ZoĂ© happily strolled in with her girlfriend and Luka and Kagami trailed behind her. Despite being in a room surrounded by some of her closest friendsâŠ
Her eyes still couldnât stop landing on the blond boy in the corner. He stood up against the wall, a glass of wine in his hand as he laughed. His body shook as a wide grin spread across his lips. He always smiled so brightly whenever he laughed.
A sudden fluttering feeling made its way into her stomach. A hint of queasiness came along with it and her legs shook. She swallowed hard, grabbing a nearby glass of wine and taking a few sips. She forced her eyes to look away from Adrien before her entire body collapsed.
âHey, Marinette, you okay?â A small voice came from behind her and she turned around to see ZoĂ© standing there. âYou look a little sick.â
âZoĂ©! Hey! O-Oh, yeah, Iâm okay,â she took another sip before sharing a quick hug with her friend. âJust really anxious to be here, thatâs all.â
âIâm happy to hear it,â she took a sip of her water. âItâs really nice to hang out with everyone again, but especially you!â
ZoĂ©âs bright smile alleviated some of the pressure that had been building within her. âSame to you as well,â Marinette said. âItâs been long overdue.â
âYou said it!â ZoĂ© said, laughing a little. âAnd I know that things have been really awkward between you and a certain someone, but donât let that stop you from enjoying this party, okay?â
Marinette sighed and slapped her free hand to her face. âIs it really that obvious?â
ZoĂ© nodded as she flashed her a small smile. âYouâre a bit of an open book, Marinette,â she said. âBut itâs okay, youâll get through it.â
Marinette let herself breathe a sigh of relief. âIâm trying, I promise,â she said. âAlya wanted me here and I knew he would be here because we literally share all of the same mutual friends soâŠyeah.â
âI know the feeling,â ZoĂ© gave her a sympathetic pat on the shoulder. âYou psych yourself up for something, but then when it comes time to do it, you justâŠâ she took another swig of water. âYou get it.â
âI sure doâŠâ she let herself take another sip of wine as Alyaâs voice piped up.
âAlright, everyone!â Alya began as she turned down the music enough for everyone to hear her. âI hope everyone is enjoying themselves so far!â
The entire room became filled with various responses of âyesâ, âyeahâ and âhell yeah.â
âGlad to hear it,â she clasped her hands in front of herself. âI hope yâall are ready because Iâve got a super fun, yet very classic party game for us to play.â She walked over to a small setup in the middle of the living room. A circle of pillows had been laid down and an empty bottle of wine lay right in the middle.
âOh noâŠshe didnâtâŠâ Marinette whispered to herself, a shiver making its way down her spine.
âItâs a little game calledâŠâ Alya knelt down and spun the bottle, watching as it pointed towards one of the pillows on the floor. âSpin the Bottle!â
And just like that, Marinette had gained a new fear.

*Check the 'shadow's heart' tag if you haven't read chapter 1
[Chapter 8: Paradise]
"Do you have everything, love?" Shadow called up the stairs.
He was standing by the bottom step, two duffel bags at his feet, wearing an orange button-up T-shirt that he left open in the front. Ready for their trip, he was excited to get away from the city he'd become so familiar with and have a week just to himself and his woman.
"I should!" Rouge called back, then her footfalls came quickly down the stairs. She was wearing a backpack and holding her cumbersomely large purse. "If I forgot anything, I guess I'll just have to buy it out there."
The hedgehog picked up his bags and headed towards the door, where Rouge opened it for him before grabbing the handle of her big rolling luggage.
Following the locking of their front door, the vacation-bound pair loaded their things into Shadow's car, then hopped inside to head to the airport.
Rouge let out a big sigh as she pulled the seat belt over her chest. "I am so ready to be poolside and not worrying about anything happening here!"
"Me, too," he agreed, gripping the wheel and turning the key.
Shadow flipped on the radio and let her search for a station while they pulled out of the driveway; then Rouge struck up a conversation as they drove through the city. "So, what kind of plans do you have for us when we get out there?"
"Well, I booked a luxury hotel, so I was thinking we could relax from our flight after we check in," he suggested. "Maybe order room service before we go out, then see the sights... whatever there is to do."
"A luxury hotel?" Her tone was impressed and satisfied. "Goodness, Shadow, not that I'm complaining, but what made you go all out like that?"
The hedgehog chuckled a little, glancing at her before looking back to the road. "You're with me. I know you like the finer things, and I have no problem giving you that. Besides, how often do we get to vacation like this?"
"True enough," she conceded, happy with his answer, though it was only half of the truth.
He wanted to make their time away as romantic as it could be, even though the engagement ring was already burning a hole in his pocket. His reoccurring nerves made him want to just get it over with â the sooner Rouge was his fiancĂ©e, the sooner he could relax about their future together.
But she deserved a grand gesture, especially after just having spent weeks apart. The speedster reminded himself that it was okay to anticipate things, to have something big to look forward to... even if he felt less composed than normal. Proposing was not something to be made into a chore.
***
They landed on South Island a few hours later and immediately caught a cab to the resort. And when they opened the door to their room, the bat let out a gasp at the comfy modern design of the big room.
Cool grays and crisp whites partnered with warm browns along the walls, floor, and furniture; a tall king-sized bed took up Πof the room, resting adjacent to a smoke-colored loveseat.
And behind the double-seated sofa was a window reaching from floor to ceiling, with an outward view of the nearby beach at a breathtaking height.
Rouge walked in with her bags and beamed, "Holy shit, this room is beautiful!"
Her luggage, backpack, and purse were dropped near the foot of the bed and she bent forward to run her hands along the plush mattress, feeling the softness of the sheets. "Oh, this is bad â if I like this bed more than my own, I'll want a new one when we get home!"
Shadow walked up behind her, a smile on his face, and leaned over the woman's form to speak quietly near her ear. "And get rid of all the memories we made in that bed? I wouldn't allow it."
A playful chortle left rose-colored lips and she straightened her posture, pressing her back against his front while his hands slipped around her hips. "You're so sentimental. You know you'll have those memories forever."
"Yeah, but..." Shadow shrugged while his girlfriend turned around to face him. "I can't help the attachment."
With a dreamy look in her eyes, Rouge sighed and took his face in both her hands. "I understand, darling. Things can stay just the way they are."
They kissed, and the Ultimate Lifeform was soon pulled onto the bed to complete their first task as a couple on vacation before they ordered room service, then took a quick shower and changed into outfits that would keep them comfortable from afternoon to sundown.
Rouge looked out the giant window while he made sure they had all the personal effects they would need while out on the town; she could see most of the beach, where Mobians and humans wandered the sands and enjoyed the water.
But she could also see the outdoor pools connected to the resorts, as well as stands along the grassy border with logos of food and ice cream on them.
What she couldn't see was the small town behind their hotel, having no idea what kind of nightlife or restaurants might be nearby. How exciting it would be to explore the streets with her beau and find some interesting spots to make new memories!
And when Shadow was ready, she hooked her purse onto her shoulder and they left together, grabbing a brochure from the lobby on their way out of the building.
"Let's see, there isn't much to do here," Shadow said, reading the pamphlet while they walked down the block. "The beach is the main attraction in this area, although I do see some small shops and a restaurant listed..."
"So, where's all the really fun stuff?"
"In a bigger city a little farther out." He pointed at the map and the dense cluster of destination names in a section that was disconnected from where their hotel was located. "It looks like most of the nightlife and food spots are out there, but it isn't far. If nothing here catches your interest, we could head over there now."
"Hmm," Rouge pondered, looking at the brochure herself, then pointed at the paper. "Well, there's a little daiquiri place near here â just down the street and around the corner!"
One black eyebrow lowered in questioning. "You want to? Already?"
"One drink wouldn't hurt! I haven't had a daiquiri in a while."
"Alright, then, a drink and we'll head off to the next town." The hedgehog stuck out his elbow and Rouge wrapped her arm around his, the pair making the short walk to their first spot to share a glass.
After that, they flagged down another cab, which took them through the less-developed area between the district of their resort and the bustling variance of the busier city.
The island seemed to be teeming with wildlife outside of the vacation spots, making for a bigger difference between the natural world and the crafted attractions offered to tourists.
They didn't have any desire to disrupt the jungle landscape by exploring, but the lush greens and colorful dots of wildflowers were pretty to look at on the drive.
When the taxi dropped them off, they were greeted by an abundance of shops and businesses lining either side of the street. Flower shops, toy stores, restaurants, arcades, movie theaters, bars and pool halls â even roller rinks and ice cream parlors.
Rouge grinned at the possibilities, pressing her hands together and almost bouncing with excitement. Then, she turned to Shadow and grabbed his hand, lacing her fingers between his. "Let's see what all these places have to offer!"
The nearest attraction was an arcade, its floor covered by colorfully patterned carpet, as if the navy-blue expanse had been sprinkled with confetti. The overhead lights were dim, enhancing the glow of the bulky machines that flickered different types of games on their screens.
After trading some money for tokens, they walked along between other patrons playing first-person shooters and platformers, soon hopping onto an unoccupied racing game. Shadow had to admit his girlfriend's energy was infectious, getting himself a little too wrapped up in the fun of besting her on a fake course.
The bat playfully scoffed when their final game declared her man as the victor with one more win than her. They got up from their seats and she teased, "I would've beaten you if that last course didn't have so many obstacles!"
"Oh, yeah, I'm sure," he bantered back, collecting their tickets. "If only the game was easier; or was I supposed to lose on purpose?"
"Tch, smartass!" she piped, rolling her eyes as he slipped his hand around her waist.
They bounced from game to game for a while, playing all of the cooperative shooters and gambling games before they noticed a crowd around the dance machine.
Walking over, they joined the group of onlookers watching two Mobians competing as electronic music bumped from the speakers. The dark duo could see why they'd gathered an audience, noticing the string of perfect moves flashing on the screen while they danced energetically.
It wasn't long before the song ended, declaring one of them the winner with a slightly higher score before they were mobbed with applause from the young-looking viewers.
Shadow and Rouge turned in their tickets for a big stuffed plush of a red-colored heart, then moved on to the next place that caught their attention. The ivory jewel-lover insisted on going inside a jewelry store, walking out with a silver necklace draped over her collar bone, the sparkling band lined with amethyst stones.
Then the Ultimate Lifeform stopped briefly at one of the flower shops for a small bouquet of pink carnations, the edges of their soft petals boasting fringes of bright red. Though he didn't care much for florals, the colors had caught his eye; and it was still a romantic gesture, as far as he knew, to offer a bundle of them.
With evening only an hour away, and as their stomachs whined for fuel, the couple decided to go to the nearest food stop â a coffee shop, where they had warm drinks and pastries as the sun started to sink. And when they left, the sky was nearly dark, boasting their favorite time of day.
Deciding to head back, they made a plan to visit the beach for a cool, relaxing rest before it got too gloomy to be outside. So, they gathered their things at the hotel and walked out onto the sands, finding it much more deserted than before. Rouge found a cute nook where a rocky boundary left a small portion of the beach relatively hidden.
"Let's set up here," she suggested, pulling a big towel from her beach bag to spread on the ground.
There was a sort of luminescent quality to bits of the stone that surrounded them, shards of pale blue glimmering under the moonlight. And the ocean reflected as much, ice-white ripples gently rolling along the deep indigo hue of the sea.
The air was a bit more humid than they were used to, but it was cool under the darkness of evening, so Shadow had no qualms as they sat together on the malleable earth beneath. He heard Rouge pull in a soft, slow breath, letting it out in an extended, satisfied sigh.
"This is perfect," left her charming lips, the light of the moon reflecting in her turquoise eyes as she stared up at it.
The quiet speedster couldn't ignore her beauty, her shapely figure lounging in a white bikini. He leaned over to her and cupped her face in one dark hand when she looked at him, then muttered, "It is. I'm glad we took this trip."
Her smile deepened and they kissed, then Shadow pulled back enough to declare, "I want to take you to dinner tomorrow. We can do more fun stuff the day after, but... tomorrow I want something a bit quieter. Is that okay?"
"Of course. We can chill in the hotel until then, if you want. It'll be nice."
He cracked a smirk and dropped his hand from her cheek. "Yes, it will," murmured the hedgehog, purposely lining his tone with an amorous quality while he ran his palm along the curve of her hip to the back of her thigh, holding it gently and leaning in for another kiss.
Rouge leaned into him, as well, letting her own hand caress the slight bend of his chest, its shape much more subtle than hers but defined by muscle that was more noticeable by touch than by sight.
She enjoyed his body as much as he enjoyed hers â each of them perfect, by each other's standards â and it didn't take long for the pair to wrap themselves in an intimate embrace, blissfully alone under the starry blanket of nighttime.

Let Me Help You
Rottmnt Fanfiction by Mollsr
đ§ȘDonnie and April as Bestiesđ¶
Hi! This is my first online contribution for the Rottmnt fandom based on the amazing art of @meggalice of Donnie and April dancing as besties! It just absolutely struck a chord inside my brain and the rot insued haha. Thank you for the inspiration along with Cass Future AU!!
This fanfic has two parts one present, maybe during the show and one near the beginning of the Apocalypse in the future đ
Let the softness, angst and projection begin!
Let Me Help You
April slouched into the lab, falling into a beanbag without saying a word. Normally, Donnie wouldn't have even have stopped his work as her loud entrance was made. Contrastly, however, the silent entrance demanded his gaze. He turned in his chair.
Sat, melted into the bean bag, April scrolled through the phone that he had designed for her; her hood pulled tight over the usually smiling face and bushy hair. "Hey April," Donnie began timidly. "Anything good on there?" His friend's eyes didn't move from her phone. She stopped scrolling, sliding the phone into her jacket pocket, followed by her hands. The bean bag threatened to consume her whole at this point. A mutter came from inside the folds of the seat, telling Donnie April was alive at least, "No, not really.".Â
"Anything⊠exciting happening in that building they call a school?" Donnie wasn't sure how to approach this meak April. The lack of energy that was always brought to his lab by her worried him. He hadn't realised how much he relied on her loud and joyful presence and how routine it had become until it was missing.Â
A sigh emanated from the void, "It's so hard. Everything is so hard all the time. I don't even have time to breathe anymore. I know it's nearing the end but it doesn't need to be this difficult at every given moment, y'know? Well, I guess you wouldn't. You're a genius." April gave a self pitying laugh.
Donnie knew he wanted to help his best friend but, he wasn't sure how. "I dunno," he began. "I know what it's like to be mentally drained, even with my big, beautiful brain." His attempt to lighten the mood resulted in a small laugh from the bean bag. Still, in the barely visible position, April met Donnie's eyes, just as they moved to the ground. "I get sucked into my work all the time. Sometimes so much I forget there's a world around me. My brothers aren't the best at pulling me out of my fixations, not that I let them either. I know they worry about how intense I get. Most of the time I crash before I realise how drained I actually am."
April emerged from her void, readjusting herself in the beanbag and removing her hood. "When that happens," Donnie stood, and walked towards the lab door. He pressed a button, left of the door causing a metal door to descend from the ceiling, casting the lab into darkness. Another button pressed illuminated fairy lights, trimming the walls atop high cabinets and shelves winding between bottles, jars and machines. The lights granted a soft glow to the whole room.
Staring at the glowing lights, April was amazed by the calm they caused to wash through her. "I turn on these lights," Donnie continued as he scrolled through his phone. "And play music." Soft music, filled with soft words took over the room, intensifying the feeling of detached calmness. Donnie approached April's corner and lay down on the floor next to her. "My brothers don't know I do this. Maybe I should tell them. I know it'd ease their minds." He closed his eyes. "I just enjoy having something only I know about." Opening his eyes, he turned his head to face April, who peered down at him softly. "I'm happy to share this with you though. If you want to that is."
Standing up, and walking over, April lay down opposite to Donnie so that both their eyes were in line with each other. The pair glanced up at the lights surrounding them, becoming one with the gentle music. "Thanks Dee. Thanks for sharing this with me." April smiled.Â
They lay, for perhaps hours before Donnie spoke, "Promise me something April. I've crashed too many times. I don't want you to go through that. I can't look after myself most of the time, but at least⊠promise to let me look after you. Come to me anytime you need to. I'll always be here for you." April's smile grew as she sat up, crossed legged.Â
"Then let's both make a promise." Donnie sat up, matching April's crossed legs, a curious look on his face. "If you need to chill, or," Her look grew stern, "I tell you to," Donnie gave a nervous but knowing laugh. "Then we will. Promise to let me, look after you." Her stern look eased into a friendly one, "Ok." Donnie smiled. "I promise." April returned the grin adding, "I do have one suggestion though." Standing up, she continued "I know you're not big on touching, let alone dancing but," April's outstretched hand invited Donnie to stand. "Dance with me? Sometimes it's nice to just move your body to the music."Â
Donnie's eyes moved from his friend's hand to her easeful face. "You don't have to be any good, c'mon" April reassured. For the first time Donnie could remember, he willingly took another person's hand. He'd never so much as poked one of his brothers before but yet, somehow, this felt, natural and safe. April beamed as he stood up, softly smiling, unable to stop staring at his hand, intertwined with another. As April began to guide their bodies back and forth to the music, Donnie observed how bright her face had become in these short hours, and felt his own body become lighter as they continued stepping to the music. April began to spin herself in circles using Donnie's hand, making them both laugh. "Feeling better?" Donnie asked as they switched their music to faster tunes. "Loads. Thanks Tello." "Anytime O'Nell"
âŠ
"April!" The purple, hexagonic shields barring the door to the resistance headquarters came down and the door was flung open. Rushing inside April was swarmed by a heavy and full hug. The perpetrator quickly bolted the door shut once more and primed the shields, using the computer attached to the cave wall, once more. "How have you been?" he asked her enthusiastically, still working on the computer. "I've been good!" April Replied warmly. "Training the new recruits keeps me busy. It's rewarding for sure." As he turned around, April was met with Leo's worn and weathered face. "Doesn't stop me from missing my family though." She admitted with a small smile, which Leo returned. "It's been too long." he agreed.
The two began down the carved corridor. "Sorry to pull you away, but, well" "Leo." April stopped him. "Don't apologise. You know I'm only a call away. Always for you guys. You should have called me straight away." "I know." Leo responded regretfully. "We just, thought we could handle things on our own. We didn't want you to worry." April raised a stern eyebrow causing Leo to add "Stupid I know.".
Arriving at the end of the corridor, the pair were met with a fortressed, metal, garage-like door. "It's gotten to the point where he's completely locked us out." Leo indicated towards a computer with a retinal scanner and keyboard. "None of our logins will work. We don't know what to do." April put a hand to the cold metal, in a whisper saying "Oh, Donnie.". "I think he thought we were gonna forcibly drag him from the lab. I'm still considering it." April elbowed his immense arm. "Sorry. I just," Leo's eyes fixed on the door. "I've seen him sucked into his work so many times before. But this is⊠it's something else. It's a different kind of obsession." He looked down at April, who met his gaze. "You were the only one who could ever get through to him when he was fixated. The only one of us who could ever touch him. If anyone on this planet; this universe, can pull him out of the abyss, it's you April." He gave a pained smile. A smile, which made April hug him as tight as she could. Leo returned the hug. "Tell the others not to worry." April reassured. "I'll get our Donnie back." Pulling away, April noticed Leo's smile seemed less somber.
"Here's the override key for the door." Leo handed her a large, thick, metal key. "He gave it to his assistant when they built the lab. We didn't want to use it until we at least tried everything else first." With a slightly hopeful look, Leo smiled and turned back down the corridor, taking one of the branching tunnels to the left. A deep breath, and April stuck the key into the center of the metal door where a keyhole resided. Donnie's robotic voice chimed out "Override activated." The door ascended into the ceiling.
April moved into the lab, The door descending behind her. The darkness of the caverness lab was haunted by a dull purple glow. Papers, blueprints, half finished machinery and lose parts scattered the desks, floors and walls. The disorganisation affronted April. It was something Donnie could never stand in his workplace. Coffee stains were visible on many of the papers on the desks. The source of the purple glow, a purple screen the height and breadth of the cave wall attracted April's attention. "That stupid key." A mutter entered the space. At the base of the screen, "Get out Leo. I'm fine. Make sure you tell that assistant she's fired." Donnie stood, staring ahead at his screen, ninpo keyboards at his fingertips, where he typed furiously.Â
"Don't even-" "Dee. It's me." Donnie froze, rigid. The ninpo keyboards buzzed and glitched, before evaporating. Whatever words he had planned on using to bash Leo were lost. His head turned, slowly to his side. Donnie wasn't wearing his purple mask. His eyes were sunken, worn and bloodshot. His scaly skin was pale and his markings faded, despite having just used his ninpo. April approached her brother, her closest friend step by step. "Donnie, what have you been doing? You've locked everyone out." Indicating the door, she added "Literally."
Donnie's neck turned to face forward. He focused down at his hands, which only now fell from their typing positions. He gazed up at the oversized screen, filled with information, equations and diagrams. "I-I need to keep them safe." The broken voice stuttered under the weight of it's owner's task. 'Leo was right.' April thought. She too, more so than the others had seen Donnie in his worst times. But this was a new depth, one she had never seen.
April reached Donnie's side. He had grown even more since last they met, but somehow, had also withered. Looking at the screen, April noticed a map, indicating each resistance hideout many of which, covered by a red 'X'. "They keep finding us." Donnie began. April stared up at her exhausted brother not sure what to make of him. "They keep seeing through my designs. Getting smarter. I need to keep getting smarter. I need to keep everyone; us safe. If they get to us," Donnie for the first time, looked at April. Meeting his eyes, April was overwhelmed by the fear, the dread, the mania she could see etched into her most dear friend's face. "Our family, I could never forgive myself."
Without warning Donnie's knees buckled. Leaving his head level with April's. The tears hiding just on the edge of April's eyes poured out. April moved to pull Donnie's face into her chest, resting her own into his. Slowly, Donnie's body melted into April's, eventually leading the pair into a lying position of the cold stone floor, April never relenting in her grasp. The friend's remained that way for what could have been days.
Eventually breaking the thick silence, "You promised you would call me Dee." April's sad voice caused Donnie to open his eyes. He stared at the ground. "I⊠I lost sight of everything." he admitted. "I think that's putting it lightly." April smirked. Donnie's neck craned to meet April's eyes. "You cared about everyone so much, that you couldn't leave them care for you."
Donnie sat up, crossing his legs. April followed. "You know you've terrified those brothers of ours with worry. I've never seen Leo so shaken." "L-Leo. Oh no. Oh Leo." Donnie held his head in his hands. "I've said so many horrible things. I-I didn't mean to I just⊠I just". "Hey!" April moved to sit in front of Donnie. She placed her hands on his, softly moving them away from his face. "Look at me." Donnie's head raised, his face contorted with regret. "You know it's ok. They'll forgive you. All they want, all I want, is for you to come back to us. We love you Dee. Always have and always will."
Gently removing her hands from Donnie's as she stood up, April closed her eyes and opened her palms, facing up. Small, green, ninpo infernos were released and danced in the air. The cold cavern seemed to warm, the dull purple quashed by the soft fiery lights. Donnie, mystified by the twirling flames, didn't notice April taking out her phone. Music the two of them had bonded over for many years, in both their worst times, sounded between them. Donnie met April's glassy eyes. Accepting an inviting hand, Donnie stood up.Â
The two moved close together, swaying side to side, holding each other as if to never let go. A feeling they had both forgotten and needed. April rested her head on Donnie's chest "I'm sorry April. I tried to help so much that I let everyone down." "You could never let me down Dee. We're all just⊠trying to survive, in any way we can." The pair's sight met once more. "We were never prepared. We could never have known any of this would happen. We're living the impossible just by existing here and now. You, none of us, have anything to be sorry for. We're all going through the same pain. Here. Together. So don't lock us out again ok Tello?" Donnie gave a small smile. Small, and sincere. "Thanks O'Nell. I won't." Behind the overworked and sleep deprived exterior, behind the worn and dry eyes, for the first time, a glint of the Donatello April knew, was found.

ââââââââââââââââââââââââââ
The tension is thick. The business trip you got assigned was a whole two day ordeal and you already canât wait to get back home, you almost missed your flight because some idiot decided to park in the middle of the road, therefore blocking it for everyone else and since you are already running late the whole morning you decide to just step out of your Uber, grabbing your bag from the trunk and head to your gate.
The gate isnât too full since most of the people are probably already through security, just you and two others in front, which isnât much if the lady in question wouldnât chit-chat about her morning with everyone and how great the weather is. The man in front of you huffs out an annoyed breath of air and taking a second look you can just roll your eyes. Itâs no other than Walter âKeysâ Mckey, the man youâre doing the press tour for the new game with and havenât talked to outside of work since he seems to know everything better when it comes to all the stuff involving making a game - story, graphics, coding - and donât even get me started on fixing any bugs the game might have. Heâs on your nerves before the trip has really started.
After a wonderful one and a half hour flight in a cab together to New York, you finally arrive at our designated hotel.
âThank you Miss Y/L/N and Mister Mckey for staying with us. We have your room ready, everything is paid in advance and room service will be paid for in full.â
âExcuse me, you said room?â, he asks the question that you were wondering about yourself.
âYes, your boss said one room would be fine, is there a problem?â
âIs there any chance we could book a second room? Iâll even pay for it myselfâ, you try your best.
âIâm sorry but weâre all booked out for the week.â
âItâs fine, weâll make it work. Thank youâ, Keys snatches the Keycard to your room from the desk and all you can do is fake a smile and nod thankfully before following him.
You enter the room with just one bed inside and are happy that itâs at least going to be some stunning looking 48 hours. The meeting you came here for was in an hour so you take your sweet time to change into something more appropriate and get yourself ready by looking through the notes on your tablet you made on the way here.
Simple black skinny jeans and a shirt with a v-neck should do the trick, the decent makeup doing the rest. Keys settles for the usual pair of dark jeans, but even though you didnât mean to, your gaze rests on his black leather belt for a second as he is buttoning his dark blue shirt over it.
Both of you are well aware of the fact that he caught you, so you try to busy yourself packing your handbag for the meeting, slipping your tablet and notepad inside and hurrying out the door with a simple: âIâm just quickly gonna grab a coffee on the way.â
Itâs a shitshow, the whole meeting the guys from the New York department are trying to tell you how to do your job and ask you why you didnât think of the outcome to XYZ of any of your actions. On the other hand, Keys is the one swimming in praise for his good work and all you can do the second the meeting is done I storm out of the room to grab some dinner before heading back into your room. You donât have a problem with someone giving you any kind of critique, but they just acted like you shouldnât be the person in charge of your department. The dinner is just the cherry on top, comes out after an hour and just isnât as fulfilling as you hoped, overprized of course.
Keys is sitting in front of his laptop at the table in the room and doesnât even turn his head at the sound of the door falling into its lock. Itâs dark outside, but the view is just as beautiful with the skyline, all the pretty lights of the city shining in the black of the night.
âIâm taking a shower, wonât be longâ, to at least give him a chance to use the bathroom now if he needs to.
The warm water and rose petal smell of the hotel shampoo is just the right thing to calm your nerves. You still decide to not take too long so he can get ready right after. The silk of your white pajamas hugs your body so perfectly, you barely feel the material. The room is not as humid as the bathroom which instantly erupts goosebumps on your skin the second you step out.
A knock on the door lets you freeze, not wanting to talk to anyone you donât have to. Keys snaps out of his trance and rushes to the door, taking things a bit slower when his body grazes yours in the tight space you can barely call hallway. His T-shirt under the unbuttoned one comes in contact with the silk of your pajama, the missing bra instantly getting a reaction out of your body, nipples hardening underneath the material and you know he feels it. As he answers the door you pack your worn stuff into your suitcase and sit on the edge of the bed, unsure of the sleeping situation for the night.
âSooo, not wearing any underwear, trying to tell me something?â, you would love to wipe the smile off his face but canât hide the tingles rushing through your body.
âShut up, who likes to sleep in underwear anyway?â
The room fills with the smell of something you could recognize anywhere - fresh Pizza.
âIâll let you have half if you can commit to both of us sleeping in the same bed tonight.â
âI already ate, thanks.â
âThat still doesnât tell me if you want some.â
He places the impressive pizza plate on the white duvet and gets his laptop before sitting against the headboard, still focused on the screen in front of him as he grabs a slice that already had your mouth watering prior to you taking a proper look at it.
âYou did a good job today even though you didnât have any references for the stuff you were talking about, maybe they were wondering why I didnât just go aloneâ, your heart misses a beat at the praise in the beginning but quickly catches back on to its usual rhythm.Â
âApparently I donât know what the fuck Iâm doing at the moment, so yeah, you might be right that I am useless on this trip after all.â
âI never said that, I just didnât get why Antwan had to send both of us if they were just gonna talk shit about your work anywayâ, Keys puts the plate on the table his laptop sat on only half an hour ago, leaning back against the headboard to see your reaction to his statement.
âThank you?! Iâll just report back to him on Monday, who knows maybe Iâll finally throw in the towel, canât be bothered to take any more of this shit anywayâ, you desperately press your thighs together, looking for a little more relief than just the hot shower to all the comments being flung at you today.
You get up from the bed, ready to tell him that youâre just gonna check in to another hotel, opening your bag back up to take out your outfit from the day but Keys gets ahead of you and comes around to your side of the bed, causing you to stop dead in your tracks.
Taking in the few inches between you two, you look up at him, a breath catches in your throat when you see his features soft, his brown eyes with slightly furrowed brows taking you in.
He leans down so his lips gently graze the shell of your ear and you canât bring yourself to move, the anticipation boiling in your veins as he whispers: âDonât go. I wanna fuck you in front of a mirror so you can see how good you take it.â
You fist his shirt before he can finish, grabbing onto it already after the first two words, the realization hits - he got you and has your stomach doing somersaults with how bad you want him, all without touching you. Your cheeks meet as he comes back to look at you, mere inches between and you know heâs just waiting - either for permission or for you to do something. His expression is almost pained with the way he is taking you in, giving his all not to just take what he wants. But the moment you give him the smallest nod with pleading eyes, heâs grabbing your cheeks with a hand on each side and presses his soft lips to yours, trying his best not to rush the kiss but its intense - swimming in your kiss like its what heâs been waiting for all day. You get lost in his soft touches, how he pauses for a second to take in the taste of your lips just to go back in, putting a loose strand of hair back in its place behind your ear. You would call the sound that leaves your lips pathetic when he pulls away just to catch his breath but instead busy yourself with taking his shirt off, sliding it eager down his shoulders just pulling at his shirt under it seconds later and before you can take a proper look at him, his lips are back on yours. Warm hands find their way under your shirt to pull you closer.
Keys chuckles into the kiss when you reach the black belt you couldnât take your eyes earlier, fingers resting on the leather when the same small laugh escapes your own lips, finally opening it, the metal sound clinking heavily in the room. His fingers fumble with the buttons of your pajama but know heâs getting frustrated - you never use them because theyâre such a pain in the ass to get open.
âWaitâ, you mumble breathlessly into the kiss, almost instantly pulling away to throw your shirt over your head.
You exchange one more kiss before his lips travel lower, leaving not only soft purple patches but also goosebumps on your skin. A soft moan escapes his mouth, causing your eyes to roll into the back of your head and your hand to slide from the back of his neck into his soft brown hair, carefully grabbing a bunch to pull and there goes another moan as he takes your nipple between his lips where his tongue licks and plays with it.
Both of you pull apart once more so you take the chance and get on the bed with him following right behind you but the moment you take one more look at his - still buttoned - pants, you can only imagine what you felt if you dipped your hand inside a few minutes ago. He hovers over you, settling between your legs to pepper a few more kisses over your exposed chest. The finger that rubbed over your other nipple just seconds ago finds its way under the waistband of your shorts, two other ones dipping gently between your folds. You can see him trying to keep his composure when he feels how drenched you already are - all for him. The sparks in your body turn into pure excitement as he pulls the fabric down your legs, throwing it somewhere just to come back up once more, holding your face with the same hand that explored your body and pressing another but needier kiss on your lips.
Keys scoots down the bed seconds later to kick the shoes heâs still wearing off his feet and pull his pants down his thighs alongside his underwear. You barely get a good look at him, heâs already kneeling between your legs, his hands gently rubbing down your thighs, causing you to spread them wider and perk your head up to take him in.
He rubs himself a few times before aligning his impressive length with your entrance. Your heart beats in your chest as you keep your eyes between you two, waiting for the stretch you know is going to come.
His tip glides through your folds and catches your clit for a second, coating him in more of your arousal which leaves both of you nearly breathless. Youâre about to wiggle your hips for any kind of friction when he carefully pushes a few more inches inside, the stretch causing you to just want more - need more.
âJust a little moreâ, he tells himself as he keeps going, trying his best to let you adjust instead of just ramming into you.
You desperately pull him up to you to place a fleeting kiss on his lips and throw him onto the mattress, leaving you straddling his thighs as you glide down his length in one motion. The wind gets knocked out of you, clenching around him at the obscene desperate moan that makes him throw his head back at your action, fingers nearly bruising your hips with the tight grip.
Heâs trying to catch his breath but your upper body lays flat against him, your hands intertwining with his next to his head, holding on as you begin to lift your hips slowly at first, picking up the pace in need for your release you know wonât be far.
Still, with your hands in his, he gently pushes your face to the side and thatâs when you catch a glimpse of your reflection, whimpers leaving your lips as he looks at you through the floor length mirror thatâs leaning against the wall, your bodies perfectly captured.
Your brows are furrowed and even though you could just get lost in the feeling of him meeting your thrusts you try your best not to close your eyes and catch every beautiful expression on his face, the way he still looks so fucking nerdy with his glasses on his nose.
âLook at you. Thatâs it. Thatâs my girlâ, you moan at the nickname that fits like it's always been yours.
The room fills with the panting and moaning mess that is you two and soon you can feel your orgasm approaching. Your moans get more desperate by the second and thatâs when he slides his hand now into your hair, pulling you closer and fogging your mind with his own moans that are barely above a whimper - heâs just as close.
You grip the pillows beneath you as you try your best to still meet his thrusts, not able to keep up the tempo, your voice trembles with the moan that leaves your body when you clench around him, coating him in more release than the tears that already dripped onto the mattress. Your thighs shake uncontrollably so he holds you close, coming right after you with his staggered breaths and moans filling the room and his hands gripping your ass to pull you impossibly closer, holding you right there.
You place gentle kisses on his chest as he keeps coming, moving to his jawline to tell him: âThatâs it. Let it all outâ, all while you keep clenching around him to encourage him further, taking everything he gives you to the point where you almost get overstimulated, which you truly couldnât care less about.
You let your body falls next to his, both of you getting under the covers after catching your breaths for a minute.
âSince weâre obviously sharing the bed, does it mean I can help myself to a piece of that pizza?â

Fazbear Frights #11: Facing Facts
...After months of unemployment, Samuel is hired for a new, decent job, although some of the conditions are a bit uncomfortableâŠ
 How?
How could something so painful not kill him?
He stared into the darkness, praying for death.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
âAnd remember, the rumors surrounding our establishments are just that- rumors. We here at Fazbear Entertainment pride ourselves on our advanced animatronics and delicious pizza, but we also have top-tier safety measures in place. Rest assured, families and employees alike are in good hands. Now, itâs time to begin your journey as part of the Fazbear Family!â
The screen faded to static and the tape ejected from the VCR. Samuel sighed with relief.
The man interviewing him returned to the room. âSo, uh, what did you think of the training tape?â
âIt was...fine, I guess.â Samuel responded blandly. Truth be told, it had been the most boring half hour of life, but the guy had been bragging about him being the editor, so honesty may not be the best policy in this case. âSay, whatâs your name again? I was so swept away by the video that I forgot.â
âOh, thank you! Graphic design is my passion. My nameâs Alex, Alex Gramble. And now that thatâs done with, itâs time for your first day as a Freddy Fazbearâs Pizza employee!â
 âHooray.â Samuel said dejectedly.
Alex smiled. âListen, this is a small town, and news travels fast. I know why you had to come out here, and I figure that wasnât your plan. But chin up! This job is full of opportunities.â
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
âThis is a dead-end career.â Samuel lamented that evening over dinner. âIt wonât get me anywhere.â
âWell, Sammy, I've told you you donât have to stay.â Grandpa Harry reminded him. âIâve lived a long, happy life. I donât want you to give up everything to keep an eye on me.â
Samuel felt a wave of guilt wash over him. âNo, Grandpa, I didnât mean it like that. Even if no...critical events happen..you still need someone taking care of you. You were an incredible father to my dad, and an incredible grandfather to me. This is the least I could do. Besides, I needed a job anyway. Maybe it was time I settled for something more realistic.â
âWell, Freddyâs does have those fancy new robots, right?â Grandpa Harry added, poking at his peas. âYouâve always wanted to work with stuff like that.â
âI donât get to lay a finger on those.â Samuel rubbed his temples. âThey think Iâm too inexperienced. For now, theyâre just having me harvest parts from the old animatronics.â
âThose things are still there? I saw âem once, they gave me the willies.â
Samuel sipped some water, a bit nervous. âTrust me, now, theyâre much worse.â
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 He wasnât exaggerating.
Freddyâs jaw had been pulled loose, making his once cheery grin much more sinister. Holes in his plush suit indicated the removal of parts. Foxyâs legs had been completely stripped, leaving nothing but exposed, oily metal rods. Chica was probably the worst of them, though. Her beak had been forced open, exposing her toothy endoskeleton, and her hands had been ripped off, leaving dirty wires to trail out her stiff arms.
Samuel spent hours in this room, alone with these...things, occasionally called to remove a part. With every piece removed, they only got more disturbing.
His walkie-talkie buzzed. Samuel sighed, then answered. âHello?â
Alexâs voice came over the radio. âHey, Sam. So, Balloon Boyâs eyes are malfunctioning. They keep rolling back into his head. We think thereâs something wrong with the sockets. Could you open Bonnieâs faceplate and take out his eyes for replacements?â
 âFaceplate?â Samuel inquired.
âItâs a feature unique to him. Thereâs a button located on his neck. Pressing it should cause his face to retract into his head. Easy access to all that stuff, yâknow.â
Samuel was impressed. âWow, whoever designed these animatronics must have been a genius.â
There was a pause. âUm...yeah. They were. Anyway, get those parts. And remember, take the animatronics apart gently.â
âYou make it sound like I risk hurting them.â
âItâs just for safety.â The line went dead.
Samuel walked over to the Bonnie animatronic, slumped against the wall. While Chica was the outright creepiest of the gang, there was something about Bonnie that unnerved him. The only real damage was his arm, which had been ripped off for use in that plastic fox thing (A horrible use of good parts to be honest; that fox was poorly constructed, practically falling apart at the seams). Still, something about his blank stare was scary. Samuel would be glad to rid it of those eerie eyes.
He quickly located the button and pressed it. Nothing happened.
Samuel groaned. âWe havenât removed anything from that area. The wiring for that button should still be in place.â
He pressed it a few more times. Still nothing
Samuel began to get angry, and started trying to jimmy open the faceplate. âCome on, come on...stupid animatronics, I donât want to waste the rest of my life here!â
His anger caused him to use a little more force than he meant to, and the faceplate ripped off. Samuel fell backwards, gripping it in his hands. There was the sound of wires ripping and metal scraping. Samuel hit the checkered floor, his head banging on the hard linoleum. He struggled to push himself up, dizzy from the collison.
âOh, geez.â Samuel muttered, gazing at the plate. It was cracked down the middle, not to mention the damage around the edges from when it was first ripped out.
âWell, probably not a big deal.â Samuel reasoned, setting the part aside, on a small workbench next to Chica. âThese things are being scrapped anyway.â
He quickly got to work removing the eye sockets.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 He couldnât taste anything.
That may not sound that strange. He wasnât eating a meal or chewing gum after all, so why would he?
The thing is, while they pale in contrast to that of food, there are always flavors that we detect. From the salty taste of phlegmy spit, to even the subtle bitterness of our own breath.
He had none of that. It was like a bizarre, mouth-centric sensory deprivation chamber. Of course, most of his other senses were being overstimulated due to how much pain he was in, so it took him a while to notice- a few hours in, at least. But it didnât take too much muddled, bloodied thought to understand why.
After all, his tongue was halfway across the room.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Have a great day, Sammy!- Grandpa Harry.
Samuel smiled softly at the note. Grandpa seemed to have stuffed it into his toolbox, a kind little gesture from a man whoâd spent his whole life making them. It was far better encouragement than the sticker Alex had given him for the box- a picture of that bright blue rabbit with exaggerated eyelashes, with the words Youâre A Rockstar! written around it.
Still, he was starting to warm up to this place, at least a little. Alex, while a bit irritating, was a kind boss, and it wasnât too stressful around here- after all, the restaurant wasnât open yet. Heâd even brought a book today, knowing heâd have some free time.
Whistling, he headed to his back room, and gently pushed open the door.
He wasnât prepared for what he saw.
Alex had mentioned that the old animatronics might move around during the night because of minor glitches, but the door would guarantee none made it out as long as it was locked. Samuel had seen some evidence of this- their arms changing position, their heads being turned a different way, even Foxy having moved a few feet to the left once- but not like this. Bonnie was on his knees, and he held an old soldering iron in his only hand. It was frozen, held right up to his head. Said head was pressed against a wall, keeping Bonnieâs faceplate in place.
Samuel was stunned. âDid- did that thing...try to repair itself?â he stuttered. âNo, no, thereâs no way. Something that advanced just isnât possible.â
After removing the sockets, all that had remained of Bonnieâs eyes were two small, reddish lights. Those seemed to stare at Samuel now, almost angrily.
Samuel walked towards it, and gently pulled the plate out of its grasp. He didnât know why- maybe just to see if the robot would snatch it back. Nothing happened.
Samuel tucked the faceplate under Fredddyâs torso, hoping to keep it out of Bonnieâs sights.
With that done, Samuel pulled over a stool, and sat down to read. He watched Bonnie out of the corner of his eye, daring him to move.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
âSo, how was work today?â Grandpa Harry asked as Samuel walked into the room.
âEh, it was...fine.â Samuel said, trying not to speak over Grandpaâs shows. He tapped his shoulder. âHey, Grandpa, I wanted to ask you about...the incident that occurred with the animatronics last year.â
Grandpa Harry froze, then slowly grabbed the remote and paused the show. âUh, why do you want to know about that?â
âIâve heard some other employees whispering about it. I didnât really care at first, but working with the animatronics...itâs just, they have some odd behaviors. I know the company tried to keep it quiet, but you live in Hurricane. Surely you heard something?â
Still staring blankly at the paused TV, Grandpa began to explain. âIt was a young man named Walter, just over twenty I believe. Wanted to spend some time away from the big city, and moved out here for the summer. He was such a kind boy- volunteered at the local soup kitchen, polite to everyone- even gifted me some books heâd finished reading. But that doesnât pay the bills, so he took a job as a night-shift Security Guard at Freddyâs. Two nights went by with little incident- then on the third night, something happened, and he never came home.â
Sniffling, Grandpa Harry grabbed a tissue from the side table and dried his eyes. âSuch a kind boyâŠâ
Unnerved, Samuel prodded further. âBut do you know what happened to him? Like, did they find his...yâknowâŠâ
âThey found his body, but the details are âclassifiedâ.â Grandpa Harry said bitterly. âFazbear Entertainment putting money in the right mouths to keep them shut, yeah? But two things are very clear: those damned moldy old robots were responsible, and their handiwork wasnât pretty. Iâm glad theyâre being scattered and scrapped. They wonât hurt anyone else, right, Sammy?â
âRight.â Samuel said, clearly not confident in his answer. Grandpa didnât pick up on that, though. He unpaused the TV, and relaxed back into his chair.
 Samuel quietly left the room.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 He hoped the thing suffered.
Yes, this thing- this metal abomination- would be broken apart, split into pieces. If this thing was capable of hatred, it should be capable of pain. But he wanted more.
He wanted his blood, dripping into the machine, to cause all the circuits to malfunction. No part of the robot would ever work again. It would be smashed, crushed, and forgotten forever- made to suffer, like he was suffering now.
 When would he be free?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
âSee you tomorrow, Samuel. Um, be careful, and like I said, stay away from the animatronics.â Alex reminded him as he put on his coat.
âRight.â Samuel muttered in response. Heâd been given a night shift, since thereâd been reports of vandals in the area. After hearing Grandpa Harryâs story, heâd been resistant to the idea, but Management had promised him extra pay, so he relented. And, anyway, the dangerous animatronics were behind the door, so he was safe, right?
He hardly felt so within an hour. The sounds of whirring gears, electrical sparks, and clamping jaws began to resound from within. Samuel tried to ignore them, continuing to search the street in front for delinquents.
Eventually, everything quieted, as if the robots had only woken briefly from their slumber to check if the door was locked. But a few minutes later, there came a new noise- the louder, heavy thudding of metallic feet.
Samuel turned hesitantly, looking down the hall to that foreboding metal door. âItâs just a glitch.â He reminded himself with little confidence. âItâs not...fixing itself.â
His actions showed his doubt, though. Earlier heâd been sure to remove the soldering iron from the room. Bonnie wouldnât lay an animatronic finger on it.
Clearly, that wasnât enough. Banging began to resound from the room- like metal hitting concrete. The thing seemed to be trying to hammer its face back on with the wall.
Unlike the others, this sound didnât stop quickly. It went on for at least ten minutes. Samuel almost felt bad for it- it was just trying to fix itself, right?
And yet, he remembered Grandpa Harryâs story again. These robotic abominations had cut a good manâs life short. They deserved whatever pain they were going through. There was nothing good in them.
Finally, Samuel had had enough. He abandoned his post, getting up to storm down the dark hall. Taking the key out of his pocket, he shoved it into the lock and turned firmly, pushing at the same time. The door flew open and hit the adjacent wall with a THUNK!
Sure enough, Bonnie stood nearby, looking pretty surprised that someone was stupid enough to barge in there. He backed away, moving into a position to leap at Samuel, but dropped the faceplate in the process. Samuel quickly snatched it out of the air as it fell, and slammed the door in the things lack-of-face.
It shrieked, banging against the solid metal slab as Samuel quickly locked it again. He looked at the fuzzy purple thing in his hand, and noticed something- a small, bloody stain just below its left eyehole.
Samuel narrowed his eyes and walked away, as Bonnie continued to rage behind him. He ran into the kitchen, turned on one of the ovens, and tossed the faceplate inside.
The faux fur quickly caught flame, and the rest of the piece quickly followed. All the while, Bonnie was screaming louder, banging harder against the door-
The faceplate was completely engulfed in fire, and Bonnie fell silent.
Samuel turned nervously as he shut off the oven. Hesitantly, he returned to the door and knocked, eliciting no response.
âUh, Bonnie?â Samuel called out. The silence was far worse than any mechanical scream or furious banging.
He put the key back in and opened the door slowly. Peeking inside, he saw all the animatronics were still in their proper places, but Bonnie was nowhere to be seen.
From his left, Samuel heard mechanical shifting. He tried to pull back, but it was too late.
A rough, bare animatronic hand grabbed him by the face. He felt the sharp metallic parts scratching his nose. Bonnieâs finger jabbed him in the eye. He screamed with pain, hoping someone would hear and come and to help him, unlikely as that was.
The robotâs grip grew tighter, its claws beginning to break through the skin. It slammed him against the wall, putting its weight against his body, and pulled on his face.
It used more strength than any cheap pizzeria animatronic should have. From inside his own head, Samuel could hear bone cracking, blood rushing, and tissue snapping. Finally, with one horrible CRUNCH, his skull was ripped loose from his head.
Samuel should have died at that moment- but he didnât. His mind, his soul- remained trapped in his skull. He watched his body fall down limply, his jaw hanging loosely as blood cascaded down his neck.
He looked up at Bonnie, holding his head in its hand. Bonnie tilted his own faceless head, studying the mess of bone and flesh he held.
After a moment, it slammed the skull into its empty head. Samuel felt sharp crossbeams penetrate his brain, and screamed with agony- or tried at least, lacking a mouth and all.
Seemingly satisfied with the replacement, the robot collapsed against the wall again, forcing Samuel to stare at his own mutilated form several feet away.
How long would it keep him alive?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Several hours passed, every moment of them agonizing. Samuelâs soul, trapped with his disembodied head, begged- to Bonnie or a higher power, he wasnât quite sure- to put an end to his suffering.
 It did eventually.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Harry sat on his porch in a rocking chair, slowly swinging back and forth as he sipped a cup of tea. This was how heâd spent all his mornings since he retired- here in his house on the outskirts of town, watching the sun rise.
It had been better when his love Margaret was still around though. Sheâd passed on a decade ago, leaving Harry all alone. His family visited, of course, but his house was empty most of the time.
Samuel was a blessing. One he felt guilty for having- Samuel had a life of his own to lead, after all. Still, Harry had felt more alive in the week Sammy had been here than he had for years.
He frowned, and checked his watch. 6:57 AM. Samuel had promised heâd be back no later than 6:45. Was the traffic in town that bad?
âOh, well.â Harry chuckled. âIâm old, Iâve got nothing better to do but wait.â He gazed out the road, hoping to see Sammyâs car driving towards him any second.
He waited for quite a while.

I donât know how to ask you this bestie đ©âŠ But if you write incest do you mind doing one where all mightâs daughter has a crush on Endeavor? And they both smash her⊠Feel free to make it stepcest if thatâs more comfortable đ„Č
DONâT BESTIE ME YOU FREAK!!!!-
Anyways, congrats on being my FIRST controversial ask. That being said, it took me a while to figure out whether or not I would write this one đ€. Of course, this will be one of the ones I wonât be able to post on Wattpad lmao, but Iâll give it a go!
If you didnât already read the request, I will give you the necessary warnings again.
tw: incestâŠ.. never thought this day would come, dp
Author's annual moral PSA: I would hope I wouldn't have to tell yall I don't condone this irl. This is both illegal in many states, and in all ways an abuse of power and trust. Not to mention no one should look at their family members in this way and if it has happened to you don't be ashamed of it as it is not your fault but seek help because it is dangerous in the long run. This is for pure fantasy purposes
You are not underage in this fic. I never do underaged work.
There is way too much plot in this
Your cheeks were stretched wide enough to rival your fathersâ as you ran home. Your feet bounce and your pull at your braids nervously as you look out the window of the train, the excitement you felt made you restless to get home. Your neighbors watched you as you ran by, dents caused by your shoes hitting the pavement as your quirk flowed through your pumping blood. âDad!â
You slam your front door open and scramble through the labyrinth of your rich home. Tossing open your fatherâs office door unaware of how your outburst startles All Might. âY-Yes what is it?â Papers flutter all around as you carelessly glide through Toshinoriâs neatly stacked papers. You slam the slightly crumpled papers onto his desk, ignoring how the sheer strength of your hand nearly causes his cold cup of coffee to fall. âRemember how 3rd years get the chance to have the first pick in finding the company theyâll sidekick for?!â
All Might watches you with fondness in his eyes as he cleans his glasses off. He was now far in his years, a healthy 82. His hair was now less of a golden yellow and more of beige as it silvered slowly. He was still his normal towering height, retained much of his muscles, and could periodically assume his big form now that he finally had the time to rest and heal properly. âYou mean the program that you talked about every day because it was free.â
You roll your eyes, âFree for me, not for you. Anyways look, look, look!â You hold the paper in his face and he takes it from you, âI see you were accepted into your first choice at-â You snatch the paper from him and hop around excitedly, â-At EndevÄ Jimusho And thatâs not even the best part!â All Might's contempt face drops, âAll sidekicks get to stay in a guest house in close quarters with Endeavor himself!!"
Joy no longer existed in Toshinori's emotional library. "Absolutely not." Your face falls and your rant halts completely. "What?" Yagi puts his glasses on and shuffles through his papers stiffly, "I do not agree on Endeavors training methods." You raise an eyebrow, "Is this coming from the man that punched Pro-Hero Dynamite and Deku into buildings during an emergency villain drill? In front of everyone?"
Yagi hides his face behind a stapled packet, "I was giving them a taste of reality, a villain does not care for a hero's well-being." You sit down on his desk, legs crossed before curling your finger over his paper, your eyes miss how AllMight briefly glances down, âYes, but isnât it a job as a hero to protect people, even the students they train?â Yagi craned his neck until it makes a satisfying crack, a smirk adorning his lips. âI suppose you are right.â
He thinks for a moment before silently shuffling his papers before returning his gaze to your hopeful face, âWhy should I assist you with your obvious little crush on my coworker?â You clearly stiffen âWell if it will make you happy-â You donât allow him to finish before your arms around his shoulders squeezing his neck with most of your strength.
AllMight watches you leave his room slightly disheartened, reaching into his desk drawer he pulls out his phone and dials. âWhat do you want?â AllMight leans back in his chair pulling at his pants to loosen the tension in his groin, âA proposition.â
The next day Yagi is driving you to your new home for the next 6 months. Your eyes glaze over with futuristic thoughts on how your stay would be. âEverything is so shiny!â Yagi shrugs as he pulls into the parking lot. Enji was always minimalistic when it came to modern designs.â Your head snaps to Toshinoriâs side of the car, âHis name is Enji!?â Your question is laughed off as Toshinori shuts the car off.
Although your amazement is captured solely by the prospect of working with a pro-hero, the fact that your father is a pro-hero does not go unnoticed by the people around you. âIs that AllMight!â âShould I ask for his picture?!â Even with Yagiâs shadow enveloping your body your attention hones in on the automatic glass doors in front of you.
Inside there is a crowd of students experiencing orientation and getting assigned their respective dorm and possible roommate. You take your first steps in their direction before your arm is pulled and Yagi dawns a playful grin as he presses his finger to his lips. You follow him, eyebrows furrowed âYou arenât trying to change my mind are you?â You donât get an answer as you are dragged along.
Stairs after stair you follow your father until you come to the very top, legs throbbing but interest peaked. Yagi opens two double doors as easily as breathing and your eyes go wide as the broad shoulders of a familiar hero come into view. âYouâre finally here, took you long enough.â Your heart beats in your chest, auburn hair, broad shoulders, and a stoic face that youâd only seen on television, now present in front of you. Yagi shuts the door causing you to jump, âOh um hi!â A large hand touches your shoulder making you jumpâ Calm down Y/n!â A cheerful exclamation rings out from above you as Yagi transforms into his larger form.
Heavy footsteps make the room shake wherever the two men walk around the room, âI heard you wanted to meet with me.â Your demeanor goes from uneasy to panicked giggling, âO-Oh really, who told you that!â AllMight chuckles before patting your head, why donât you ask him all the silly questions you want, I have to use the restroom.
Endeavor leans against his desk, arms crossed allowing his muscles to bulge through his white button-up shirt. âYagi tells me a lot of good things about you.â Endeavor stands straighter, a ballpoint pen in hand before he gestures for you to take a seat. You settle in the seat glancing towards the door before looking up at Endeavor who settles on his desk. âWhatâs the matter, you seem nervous?â The deepness of his tone sends a shiver down your spine. Shifting your legs closer together you clear your throat, âIâm just not used to meeting my childhood hero in person.â Endeavor laughs in a way that sounds more like a bellow, âWhen you say it like that I feel old!â
Your face hadnât stopped burning since you entered the room but the joke forced a chuckle through your lips allowing you to relax just a little bit. Calculating eyes narrow, making you feel even smaller than you already did in the heroâs presence. âNow, come on. Iâm sure you have something youâd always wanted to do if you met your hero.â Endeavorâs happy-go-lucky attitude catches you off guard as it juxtaposes the hardened persona he had cultivated over the years. âWell, I suppose a picture would be a start if you donât mind?â
Seconds later you somehow find yourself in Endeavor's lap as he holds the camera up for a picture. His body is unpainted hot but you assume that was simply just a side effect of his quirk. âUm, are you sure youâre okay with this?â Endeavor hums in acceptance. A heavy arm loops around your waist pulling you closer, close enough to become aware of a problem pressed gently against your ass. âOh!â Endeavorâs fingers slipped pressing the capture button, âWhatâs wrong did I do it wrong?â You shake your head becoming embarrassed for the both of you, âNothing!â Enjiâs voice lowers into a mumble that reverberated against the back of your neck, âGood.â
Enji straightens his arm once more to retake the picture and you awkwardly smile into the camera, grin becoming strained when he had yet to snap the photo. You shuffle the slightest bit to get a more comfortable position and a guttural groan is released from Enjiâs lips. "Are you alright, Endeavor?" Your question is ignored and your phone is put down on the table. Large hands contrasting unbridled power is your stomach delicately as though you were made of porcelain. "Are you sure there is nothing else you'd like to do with your hero?"
Endeavors face nudges away your braids allowing him to press his heated mouth against your skin. "Nothing that would help you get to know them better?" You don't get to respond, your body is hoisted around to face Endeavor. Why nervousness clearly painting itself on your features before being overcome with confused pleasure as Endeavor pressed his lips against your own.
You moan against his lips, hips grinding against each other, the thought of where you are slipped past your mind and to your pussy. Endeavors hands down your body, pinching and pulling before sighing with his calloused fingernails. You couldn't believe this was happening, you feel your pants being pulled off. Just yesterday you believed that you would only be able to meet your hero in passing. Your bra is on the floor and your pussy weeps against his slacks.
The motions are fast-paced and you feel his thumb pressing against your clit. âYes!â Endeavor kisses your lips, his stubble scratching your cheeks slightly as his tongue explores your mouth. Confidence floods your body as you hop off of Endeavor's lap and quickly undo the buttons of his slacks, he watches you out of breath in the best way.
Thick in your hands, the veins twitch to the tune of his blood. The clear stickiness of pre-cum coats the underside and you use it to stroke his length. "Please fuck me Endeavor!" You look up at him, face contorted with desperate thoughts as you angle your body towards his cock, the tip of it rubbing against your folds. You were wet, so wet making the fuchsia tip of his cock feel more engorged.
"Don't regret this. "Youâre pulled back into his lap with ease, pussy trembling from the display of strength. With Endeavor holding your weight and your hand positioning his length below you, the slide down was easy as it could be. Your legs wrap around his waist as you adjust to him. âWe have to be quick.â Endeavor rolls your hips when your breathing becomes even again, âWe have all the time in the world.â You smirk trailing your finger up Enjiâs chest, âWhat, you have a thing for getting caught?â
Your cheeks are spread apart by Endeavorâs fingers as he hooks one into the small slit left remaining in your pussy. âSomething like that.â From behind you the sound of the door shutting makes your neck quickly craned around to look back. Standing with his arms behind his back and an unreadable expression stood Yagi, âAm I missing the party?â Ashamed excuses leave your mouth, tearful and panicked you squeal when Endeavor raises your hips before sliding you down his cock. âNo, you are just in time.â
Yagi slowly removes the suit he wore, shrugging off his suit jacket as the sound of your muffled whimpers filter through his ears. You hide your face, curling into Endeavorâs form but a hand stops you, gripping your face, âDonât be shy, it was his idea after all.â AllMight chuckled, âYeah, it took a lot of convincing on my part.âLong fingers wrapped around the base of your skull where your braids connect before yanking your head back.
Toshinori looked down at you, face stoic and mockingly disappointed, "I thought it would take a lot more convincing but look at you. " Yagi dragged the back of his hand around your jaw and down your chest ripping the fabric with ease. Your tits bounced on every thrust that Endeavor continued to make, wordless moans and drool leaving your moan as your pussy clenched around the cock inside you.
"Such a little whore for him aren't you?" You shake your head in protest before your eyes widen as chapped but soft lips are placed over yours. He was kissing you, your brain short circuits as his tongue forces its way past your lips. It's wrong, you know that. Hell, this whole situation is wrong. You should be downstairs with the others doing orientation, not upstairs riding the cock of a pro-hero and french kissing the other. You knew it was wrong, but why did it feel so good?
Endeavor groans at how sloppy you were becoming. The sound of your pussy squelching as cream gathered around Endeavor's cock before being pushed back inside of you. "So both of you are twisted in the head." A large thumb presses down on your clit making your pussy spasm as you cum from the heightened stimulation. Endeavor keeps thrusting, his libido unmatched and energy pent up.
Yagi reaches in between the two of you pressing his palm against your pussy as his fingertips graze Enjiâs dick on every upstroke. âAre you getting wetter sweetheart? He feels so good doesn't he?" Your mouth is agape and your weak hands Endeavor's shoulder is the only thing keeping you upright when your eyes roll back. "Y-Yes daddy!" Yagi wheezes before he's fiddling with his suit pants and pulling you back by your hair.
It was a strange display of balance on your end. Endeavorâs arms hold your legs tightly in order to keep you on his lap and on his cock meanwhile you are as your father slaps his hardened cock against your cheek, splashing his precum onto your chin. "I got you this far dear, why don't you return the favor?"
Whether it was diluted senses or your subconscious coming forward, you open your mouth for him, moaning as he invades every crevice of your jaw. Your throat constricts and you retch around the warm heat. Yagi is unapologetic and downright brutal as he pulls back before bringing his hips forward again.
The two men's moans empty into the office room and your garbled cooking is ignored as they both have their fill, leaving you to wonder if this really was for you. Numbness invaded your senses as you come again on Endeavor's cock with him not that far behind as he blows his load into your pussy. "It's been a while I will admit." Endeavor slaps your pussy once, then twice just to feel you squeeze down on him every time your hips jerked.
Tears and drool running down your face the faster your father fucks your throat and you knew you'd be sore the next day. "My turn." All Might pulls out and walks away not even showing you a glance as you choke from the lack of oxygen. Enji helps you sit up and wipes your face before Toshinori is pulling you away from Endeavor showing no care that his cock was still in you. He sits down and pulls you onto his own lap ignoring your dazed look as your brain struggles with the various changes of attitude.
"You gotta thank daddy for helping you meet your hero, don't you think?â His hand cups your round cheeks before the other slams down on the other one. Overestimated tears tremble down your brown skin as you hiccup, "Yes daddy." You rock against his cock, both your saliva and his own precum staining your stomach and public hair.
He fills you, even better than Endeavor did, and begins his onslaught of thrusts. You scream, the sound no doubt traveling outside the room, "Daddy please fuck me!!!" The speed at which you were moving was one that could only be done by a hero and it was more pain than pleasure. The constant pounding of your cervix makes your teeth clench together each time his mushroom head punches it.
"Yes, give daddy this sloppy pussy, squeeze down for me-oh fuck!" Lewd words you never even believed Yagi was capable of saying leave his lips. Your shoulder is bit by the redheaded man behind you as he cups your breasts together, tugging on your nipple before rubbing the nubbed patterns on your areolas. "I can't take it any more daddy please!" Your arms wrap around his shoulders as he causes your pussy to queen and cream, balls slapping the underside of your ass, sticky with Endeavorâs cum.
"This is what you raised Yagi? A little whore?" Yagi chuckles, "I'm just as surprised as you are Enji, say why don't you join? You aren't one and done are you?" Endeavor scoffs, you wish that upon me don't you?"
Your mind, altered with lust, does not understand the hidden meaning behind the word "join" but you soon realize it when fat fingers are pushing their way in the same hole Toshinori occupied. "E-Endeavor?" You're shushed as his fingers pump inside you with Yagiâs cock, curling and prodding your walls at every turn. You feel fuller than you ever thought you could and the pressure only continued.
"Look at my pretty little girl taking her daddy's cock, so fucking tight for me. Can you do this for Endeavor too? Fit both our fat cocks in your hero guzzling hole?" You nod at the degradation and feel the warmth from Endeavor envelope your back. His tip massages the stretched opening as Yagi stops thrusting for a moment.
There is silence, and then there is pain. You hardly feel the initial penetration of Enjiâs cock, but you do feel it when Yagi tries to move again. You can hardly breathe between the sandwich the 3 of you created and your comfort is practically ignored as they both begin to move at opposite tempos. âO-oh god!â With your eyes screwed shut and mouth agape the two men grunt against your ears.
Your g-spot and cervix are both pushed against as their thrusts become more impersonal. Endeavor grabs your arms from around Yagiâs neck before pulling them behind your back. Your legs tremble uselessly around Toshinoriâs thighs. His breath huffing the more he exerted himself steam easily slipping from his lips the faster he went. âIâm gonna cum!â Endeavor grunts, pistoning out of you even faster than he was before. A hand rests on his shoulder and heâs shoved back making you whimper from the partial emptiness. âNot inside bastard.â
Yagi becomes his gental self again as his still hard cock slips from your entrance. He places you on the ground giving you time to prop yourself up before grabiing his dick and stroking it infront of your face. You are to fucked out to do anything but present yourself as a pretty little canvas as his cum paints your face. You lick the small drops painting your chin before flashing a coy smile, âThank you Daddy!â

summary: hawks has more bird-like tendencies than you initially thought. he likes to present you with odd items as gifts and finally you figure out why word count: 2,406 tags/warnings: fluff, hawks being a bird a/n: uhh i donât know i love the bird man
sequel âpreeningâ
masterlist
Dating Hawks was unusual for a list of reasons. He was a pro hero so that meant he was very busy, in the public eye, and couldnât tell you everything. Then there was the way Hawks had been raised. After a while of dating, he trusted you enough to open up and tell you about his childhood. It shed a lot of light on the things he did in your relationship. But perhaps the least expected thing was his bird-like habits.
It wasnât unusual for people with animal-like quirks the show similar traits to said animal. Selkie and Gang Orca came to mind although they looked more like their animal counterparts than Hawks did. Perhaps that was why you didnât expect it from him.
At first, you thought he was joking. You had been dating for a while enough to know each other well enough to start to develop feelings. Hawks flew in to meet you for a coffee date in between work. The wind-blown hair and charming smile always made your heart skip a beat.
âLook what I found.â He said, his tone of voice sounded like an excited kid. He held out his hand present the shiny blue marble. You glanced up at him wondering if he was joking but he looked happy to present this offering. The last thing you wanted to do was hurt his feelings even if you didnât quite understand.
âWow, whereâd you find this?â You asked taking it and holding it up in the light to examine it.
âI found it on patrol.â He said. âIt was shining in the light and caught my eye. Donât worry I washed it off.â He reassured. That almost made you laugh.
âItâs pretty.â You said. That wasnât a lie, in its own way it was pretty but you could honestly say you had never met someone over the age of ten present a marble with such excitement.
âItâs for you.â He said with a smile that melted your heart. The sentiment wasnât lost on you even if you were trying to wrap your head around it.
âThank you, youâre too sweet.â You told him before pressing a kiss to his cheek.
The next time that happened you were more prepared for it. It was a perfect day, the sky was clear, and the weather cool. The salty breeze from the ocean filled the air around you as you walked hand in hand with your boyfriend. The sun was sinking into the horizon leaving a beautiful sunset.
Hawks spotted something, his eyes widening as he let go of your hand and rushed forward. He leaned down picking up something from the ground. Brushing it off he stood and returned to your side.
âLook!â He said in an excited voice holding his open hand up to you. You smiled at the way his wings fluttered in excitement behind him.
âWhat is it?â You asked putting one hand underneath his as you looked. There was a small shiny green object, it almost looked like a rock.
âItâs a piece of sea glass! Itâs normal glass that ends up in the ocean, it takes like fifty years of tumbling around in the water to look like this.â He said. Looking at it, it was pretty. The frosted texture was unique you realized as you picked it up. He closed your hand over it. âKeep it.â He smiled.
You smiled at him sliding the sea glass in your pocket for safekeeping. This wasnât the last time that he gave you an odd gift with a genuine spirit. You always smiled when he presented the items with pride and excitement, his feathers puffed up.
It was a night that you were spending with Hawks at his fancy apartment when things started to make more sense. You had made him dinner and were enjoying a bottle of wine now.
Hawks wasnât a drinker but since you met him you had gotten him to like wine. It wasnât unusual for you to share a bottle. It always amused you the pink tint on his cheeks and how relaxed he got.
The view from Hawks balcony was nice, a perfect city skyline. The love seat there was comfy and so was your position resting against Hawks, one of his winds draped around you keeping you close and protecting you from the cold night. The candles lit around you gave off a dim glow.
You looked at your empty glass and his. As much as you didnât want to get up you did want more wine so you would have to sacrifice your comfort for a moment.
âLet me get you more.â You said taking his glass in your hand before standing up. He made a noise of complaint at the loss of contact.
âI can get it.â He said. You leaned forward pressing a kiss against his lips, your free hand grazing his cheek.
âLet me, relax here. Iâll be right back.â You said before walking into the apartment. You entered his nice kitchen grabbing the bottle on the counter. There was enough for one glass. You looked at the full bottle on the counter. It wouldnât hurt to open up another, you could always save the rest if you didnât finish it.
Opening a drawer you looked for the wine opener. This one had normal utensils in it. The one below it had towels. It was the third drawer down that was odd.
It was full of random items, rocks, stray earrings, buttons, and other odds and ends. It wasnât your usual junk drawer. All of the items had a certain shine to them. Your mind was immediately pulled to the random things Hawks had presented to you so happily.
You let out a small gasp as it all clicked. He was a bird. Well, not literally but it seemed he shared more traits with the animal than you had originally guessed. Looking at all the items you knew that he cared for them enough to keep them in his house.
A smile met your lips thinking about how excited he always was as he handed you the shiny thing he had found. It was so sweet that he gave them to you instead of keeping it for his own collection. Had he even been keeping anything for himself since he met you?
Your heart felt full as you closed the drawer and looked for the wine opener. Hawks was already so sweet and somehow this odd quirk of his added on to it.
Returning to the balcony you sat down next to him handing him his glass before pulling him in for a deep kiss. Your free hand tangled in his feathers and you could feel him sigh against your lips.
âWhat was that for?â He questioned pulling back with pink cheeks and a content smirk.
âNothing, I just really like you.â You smiled.
âWell, I really like you too.â He said before pulling you in for another kiss.
âSo I gave her this shiny rock and she was so happy, I love the way she smiles when I give her stuff.â Hawks gushed about you to Mirko often. The rabbit hero was patient in listening to him but would often roll her eyes at how head over heels he was.
âWait, so youâre telling me the kind of gifts youâve been giving her are shiny rocks and marbles?â She questioned. âPlease donât tell me youâve stolen french fries from tourists to give to her.â Hawks gave her a questioning look.
âI always give her the shiny stuff I find now.â He said.
âAnd she hasnât dumped you?â She questioned with a raised eyebrow. âWow, she must really like like you.â
âWhat do you mean?â
âA lot of girls like shiny things but they usually prefer bracelets, necklaces, rings, or even cars if youâre really trying to spoiler her. Maybe a designer pair of shoes or a purse.â She said thoughtfully. âMost girls would have left by now if they were given shiny debris from their boyfriend.â
Hawks stood there frozen trying to process what she was saying.
âTrust me, I get it, Hawks. The animal tendencies can be strong but you have to recognize them and adjust. Find a way to fill that urge but in a way that your partner will appreciate more.â
âI didnât even realize it.â Hawks said in a quiet voice. âOh no sheâs probably hated all the stuff Iâve been giving her and has just been nice to me.â He groaned.
Mirko patted him on the shoulder.
âHappens to the best of us. I nibbled on my first crushes sleeve. There are some things youâll never forget how embarrassing they were.â She sighed, staring off in her memory.
âThatâs rough.â Hawks said. âIâm just glad you told me before she got too weirded out. I really like her, I donât want to ruin it with her.â
âThatâs what friends are for to help you with your blind spots.â She explained. âAnd Hawks, if she stuck around this long I donât think youâre scaring her off with shiny marbles.â She teased.
Hawks felt so embarrassed. He had no relationship experience. His childhood had not been a normal one, he didnât go to middle school or high school. He didnât go on awkward dates or take someone to prom. It was uncharted territory. He never even intended on dating anyone his life was too complicated then he met you and every excuse he had to date someone was out the window.
He had to make it up to you, he had to explain himself but he was trying to figure out the best way to do that. He recalled you telling him a story about earrings that you had really wanted to buy once at a boutique on vacation but you had ended up not buying them for one reason or another. He had made note of that hoping to look for one similar to what you described but hadnât gotten around to it.
Now was finally his time, surprisingly it wasnât that hard to find something that matched your description. He hoped it was close enough for you. Hawks texted you asking if he could come over tonight when you were home and you agreed.
After patrol, he picked up your favorite take out and headed over to your place. He landed on the balcony walking in as you told him he could. You sat on the couch wearing a cute pair of sweatpants and a sweater.
âHey, babe.â You said standing up and walking over to him, greeting him with a kiss.
âHey, little bird.â He said returning the kiss.
âIs that what I think it is?â You questioned.
âYour favorite.â He smiled. The two of you sat down at the couch opening up the bag of food and digging in.
âWhatâs the special occasion?â You asked as you finished up your food.
âI wanted to talk.â He answered, immediately he saw you face drop. âNothing bad, I promise.â
âOh.â You sighed in relief.
âActually I wanted to apologize.â He started, his wings looked tense.
âFor what?â You asked with a raised eyebrow.
âThe gifts Iâve given you, my friend pointed out that theyâre weird and not something you should give your girlfriend.
âHawks-â You tried to interrupt but he continued.
âIâm sorry, itâs just something Iâve done since I was a kid. I see something shiny and I take it, Iâve had a collection forever and I donât know I never questioned it until Mirko pointed it out. I just would always get so excited when I saw stuff I kept it. When I started dating you Iâd see something and I would think this is so pretty I have to share it with her, I donât want to keep it to myself-â
âHawks.â You said taking his hand in yours. âDonât apologize. Look.â
He watched as you leaned to your coffee table grabbing the small box on it and setting it in between the two of you. Opening it he realized it was full of all the things he had given you.
âIâll admit I was a little confused at first but even then I saw how happy you were and it was so cute. How could I deny or be upset about you giving me something that made you so happy.â You explained, brushing your hand over the piece of sea glass he gave you. âEventually I figured it out, I saw the drawer at your place and I put it together. Honestly, the fact that you gave me these means far more than expensive jewelry would mean to me.â
Hawks stared at you in disbelief. How had he ever found someone as amazing as you? He fought the tears that threatened to well up in his eyes. You had understood him without him ever having to explain.
âActually, I just remembered.â You said standing up and moving to your purse by the door. You looked through it for a moment before finding what you were looking for. Sitting down you held your hand out presenting a shiny vintage key. âI saw this today at a little store I stopped at on my break. I donât know if it will fit into your collection but-â
Before you could even finish your sentence Hawks had nearly tackled you into a kiss. His arms wrapped around you pulling you close as his wings fluttered. He pulled back looking into your eyes.
âI love you.â The words came out before he could stop them. He already felt so much for you but this had pushed it over the edge.
âKeigo, I-I love you too.â You returned not expecting anything that had just happened.
âI got you a gift, a proper gift this time.â He said reaching into his pocket. âThe earrings you talked about, I hope they are close enough to the ones you wanted.â
âKeigo, theyâre perfect.â You said pulling him in for another kiss. âThank you.â
Hawks was more than just a pretty face and you had seen through that. Getting to know him, the real him, not the person the media presented or the child that had been raised into a weapon, was something you had enjoyed. Not only did you get to know the real Hawks but you had fallen deeply in love with him, bird traits, and all.

yandere other mother x reader- Coraline au
warnings- yandere behavior, platonic yandere, manipulation, slight infantilism, mentions of neglect, false reality,
this one really isn't bad, but just to warn you, if any of these things trigger you, please don't read!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
âY/n this is insane! Canât you see that sheâs crazy?!â Coraline yelled at you from inside the dusty room while the three ghosts watched, their mouths had been sewn shut long ago, so they werenât able to intervene. You stood there, feeling like you wanted to cry, this âother motherâ was amazing, your real parents never showed much affection, going far enough that it could be Called neglect, so when your other mother held you in her lap, and braided your hair, and gave you warm hugs, and kisses on the cheeks, you felt happy. Your other father was just as amazing, but still, their treatment of you felt similar to one of a babyâs, always treating you like a young child who canât think for themselves. Coraline noticed this far earlier, while you remained happy and oblivious, the buttons for eyes were the last straw for her.
âI know okay! I just, sheâs so nice, I donât even know what to think anymore, you know what it feels like to actually have parents⊠I don't, my entire life Iâve been shoved in a little blue house down the stairs and told âdon't disappoint usâ by my parents! I just want to feel loved⊠itâs just, itâs just not fairâ you spoke, lip quivering, you couldnât even remember the last time you allowed yourself to cry, you werenât supposed to love the âother parentsâ but you did, they were the parents you never had, and you just had to live them. At this point silent tears were trailing down your cheeks, Coraline remained fuming at you, not even sparing a moment to acknowledge the two small black buttons that seemed to appear out of nowhere, peeking through the wall.
âThat doesnât matter, do you really want tiny little needles poking in and out of your eyeballs? Do you really want to leave your real parents behind? Do you want me to leave you behind?â She seethed, you shook your head, letting out a few small whimpers and sobs under your breath, you hated that she was right, you hated it so much, you couldnât just leave everything in the real world for this parallel universe void of life, you should want to back there right? where no one cared about you, where no one loved you, where you were nothing.
âCoraline? Is that any way to speak to your friend?â A soft voice rang from behind your form, the few lost souls floating in the room ten up, showering to the far corners where the other mother couldnât see them, then you felt warm hands engulf your waist, pulling you closer to the womenâs chest, you subconsciously leave into her warmth, she glared down at Coraline, stoking your head lovingly. In reality, she hadnât wanted for you to get pushed down here, but Coraline was getting in the way, and you just got caught in the crossfire, she did make sure that your landing was softer though, while Coraline's was harsh.
âYou donât get to tell us what to do, you arenât her mother.â Coraline breathed out, slimming her eyes into a harsh stare at the woman in whose chest you were sobbing into. One moment, you were in the cold cellar-like room, the next, you were back in the baby pink room that was yours in this place, your true room was a boring white, with a ritzy mattress in the middle, and a small cabinet that served as a closet. Although you didnât particularly like the color pink, it was nice to know that someone cared enough to bring true colors into your life. The other mother continued her embrace, picking up and cradling your head against her shoulder, you felt a wave of drowsiness overtake your senses, it hit you like a pound of bricks, and you squeezed the back of the womenâs shirt to see if you were dreaming or not, her hold just felt so⊠comforting.
âWas she mean to you darling? Donât you worry your little head about it, shhhhhh, just fall asleep, mother will take care of everything.â She spoke, bouncing slightly up and down with each step she took towards the large bed that was displayed in the center of the room. You barely muttered a small âwaitâ before falling asleep in her arms. She tenderly placed your body under the silky sheets, wrapping you up with the soft fabric and placing a small pig plushy next to you, keeping an eye on her preciousâs little daughter while she tended to some âhouseworkâ.
The second you went unconscious you slipped into a weird dream, you were walking on a thin sheet of water, in a pitch dark room, it was so cold like someone had dunked you in a bucket of ice, you stared out into the nothingness, gradually growing more anxious, where are you?
âHELLO! IS ANYBODY OUT THERE!â You screamed, only to be greeted by the echo of your own words, nothing more, nothing less. You started to swivel around in a moment of panic, having just about no idea what could happen to you in this dark abyss. That was until you dek the floor below you disappear, and you popped into existence into a completely different place, it was a medium sized room, the layout was similar to a grocery store, multiple shelves made the room feel smaller, what was odd about it, was that all the shelves were packed with hundreds of snowglobes. You admired the pretty glass structures as you slowly walked down the aisles, each had a completely different design, with little figures inside, you found it adorable, ogling at the pretty things. That was until you heard quiet clicking of heels, and your other mother came into view.
âThere you go, now donât be rude to me! You are a very lucky girl that Iâm even letting you live, you should know much better than to taint my daughter's mind with your filthy voice, oh you make such a great addition to my collection! Enjoy your stay, foreverâ she chimed, you were positive that she couldnât see you, mainly because you were standing frozen directly in front of her, and she hadnât acknowledged you. At least you werenât freezing anymore! You tiptoed closer to the snowglobe that was just placed among the collections, wondering why your mother was so enthusiastic about it. And saw nothing special about it, other than the bright yellow raincoat that adorned the figurine.
you remained completely unaware. of the thousands of button eyes that watched you from the globes, begging to be shattered, and set free.
âPrettyâ you muttered to yourself before the world faded again, and you were back into your body, snuggled up under the covers, clutching the pig plushy close to your chest, you felt awake, but also very asleep, forgetting your entire dream the moment your eyes opened, slightly surprised to see that you were still in the pink room, in the other house. You could hear the feint sound of your bedroom door opening, the creak rang through the room. And the other mother smiled softly at your lovable position, cooing under her breath, trying not to be too loud and wake you up.
âDarling, we have to get up now, oh I know I know your still tired, but itâs dinner time, you canât stay in bed all night, little sleepyhead, my little sleepyhead.â She spoke, rubbing your shoulder while you groaned at the sudden speaking and noise. You didn't know how long that dream lasted, but you did know that it was odd, so odd that in fact, it made up your mind for you about the whole button eyes thing.
âUhm- Mother? I-Iâm sorry, but I- I donât want to put buttons in my eyes.â You muttered, awaiting a harsh reaction, but instead, getting another one of her sweet smiles, she picked you up again and sat you in her lap, your small frame getting engulfed by hers.
âOh is that what you were worrying so hard about? Donât worry honey, you never were going to have to sow buttons in your eyes, it was just to see if I could trust you, and I know that I can trust you now.â She stated, calmly, a little too calmly. So⊠she lied? You got in a fight with your best friend because she wanted to âsee if she could trust youâ?
âOh- okay, where coralline though? Can I talk to her? Please, mother?â You started begging after seeing her stoic expression, why did you want to see her? Was she not good enough for you? Coralline was mean to you, she hurt her little girl! Why did you want to see her? Weâre you going to leave your mother for a snobby brat? She tightened her hold on you, pressing you closer to her, whispering little âshhâ or âstay with meâ in your ear, for some reason, you couldn't place what Coraline's face looked like, even though you had seen her just earlier, any memories of her were slowly dimming, fuzzy spots started appearing in any of those memories, and like turning of a staticky tv, they disappeared. You couldnât even remember the name âcorallineâ after a few minutes of being cradled in this womenâs lap.
âCmon darling, letâs go eat dinner now, your father made it this time, Iâm surprised he hasn't burn down the kitchen!â She spoke, getting a few sleepy giggles out of you. After helping you down the stairs she led you to the dining room, where you went on and sat at the large table next to your two parents. And so, you forgot about your ârealâ world, staying young forever here, even growing younger and smaller as time went on, forgetting about coralline, and your parents, and the small door, you lived your life happy, dressed in frilly pink clothing, learning to lobe your mother as she grew more obsessed with you, she got what she wanted in the end
You stayed motherâs little girl forever
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
have a great day today :)

B is for Blindfolds
Summary: The BAU Christmas party is held at the office. Penelope is full of terrible ideas, but somehow Emilyâs are worse.
Warnings: Mentions of alcohol and drunkenness, use of a blindfold (for a fun game, not anything sexy here), pining, idiots who donât realise their love is reciprocated as HELL (they will, but not quite yet).
Word count: 3k
A/N: okay so i really had fun writing this one!!! i have a solid solid direction of where this is headed now and iâm EXCITED about it! as always, please let me know what you think :) this is technically Wednesdayâs update, and thereâll be another on Friday!
This is the second chapter of the A-Z of Spencer Reid series, but can be read as a stand alone.
The team, yourself included, are more than ready to let off a little steam. There was no point trying to book anywhere in advance, not with the sporadic nature of festive serial killers, so youâd taken over the office. Penelope had, in eager anticipation of your return, decked it out like a winter wonderland.
âSeriously, it looks like someone robbed a grotto,â Emily had joked.
She wasnât wrong. A seven-foot Christmas tree, God knows how sheâd smuggled that into the building, obscured the hallway outside Hotchâs office. It was dripping in tinsel, baubles, you name it. It even had a nutcrucker man. Mistletoe was hung, obviously in a way she believed to be covert, and maybe it would have been if you werenât all deeply familiar with the antics of Penelope I-Love-The-Holidays Garcia. Youâre all careful to sidestep it as you walk in, knowing sheâs a stickler for the rules. All equally reluctant to invoke her wrath before a glass of eggnog or two.
On the table, thereâs a selection of alcohol laid out. Alongside a bunch of pink glittery cups.
âI got everything!â Penelope chirps.
âI can see that baby girl,â Morgan chimes in, greeting her with a hug.
She really has: thereâs juice, fruit, almost every liquor you can think of (including the fancy whiskey that Rossi and Hotch like to get out at dinner), wine of varying colours, and what looks to be some fancy fruit cider. From the spread, and the mischevious twinkle in her eye, youâre sure she wonât be letting you escape unscathed.
At that thought, you canât help but steal a glance to your right.
Spencer. The man is stood next to you with folded arms, surveying the options in a way that almost looks pensive.
Got to behave myself
I will behave myself
Will he be drinking?
That question is answered when he takes a step towards the table, stepping behind it. He picks up a plastic cup and, playing bartender, asks.
âSo, what can I get you?â
***
âMixology is pretty much the same as any other kind of chemistry,â Spencer explains, gesturing with the hand thatâs holding his cup and swilling the liquid, âItâs about balancing the right components to get the combination you want. A lot of the recipes call for more alcohol than is strictly necessary for the flavour they provide. Usually the other elements of the drink are designed to bring out the flavour or mask it, depending on what alcohol youâre using. Almost always you want to mask the taste of vodka, but tequila you try to balance it out.â
Spencer is leant on the desk next to you, rambling, having been allowed to be in charge of making everybodyâs drinks over the past couple of hours.
Sipping the concoction heâs made you, you have to admit heâs done a pretty good job.
He clearly agrees, since heâs consumed more than a couple himself. Heâs just tipsy enough to push at the boundaries of affection, his shoulder pressing against yours, his happy eyes a little glassy. You listen, hanging on every word he says, watching him lick his lips before he continues speaking again.
âThatâs why they serve tequila shots with lime and salt.â
âAnd here I was thinking they were just making it fun for body shots,â Emily cuts in, making Morgan and Penelope laugh.
You see the look on Penelopeâs face and intercept her before she can start, âDonât even think about it.â
âBut!â
âNo!â You shake your head, âYou really think Hotch is going to go for body shots?â
Hotch laughs dryly, taking a sip of the whiskey heâs been nursing, âThatâs one I think Iâll refrain from participating in.â
âFine,â Penelope pouts, âBut everybodyâs doing pin the tail on the donkey!â
âPin the tail on the donkey? What are we, 5 years old?â Emily laughs.
You lean in against Spencer, who has been quietly surveying the last few moments. Your fingers slip slightly beneath his buttoned sleeves, coming to rest on his forearm.
âBalance,â You whisper quietly.
He nods, shifting to allow you to lean more closely into him on the desk.
Itâs hard not to get distracted by your proximity to him.
Itâs only because youâre drunk.
Maybe. But that doesnât mean it doesnât feel good. If you squinted, you might just look like a couple. Thatâs certainly what it looks like to Dave, who gives you a cursory once over before training his gaze elsewhere. Your heads are almost touching, Spencer is slouching but keeps his neck just stiff enough to avoid resting atop of yours. Youâre casually against his body, the two of you strewn across the desk. It looks comfortable, familiar.
It feels comfortable, familiar.
Itâs only because youâre drunk.
***
After a singular round of pin the tail on the donkey, during which a blindfolded Emily decided to go rogue and try to pin the tail on the moving-very-quickly-out-of-dodge Hotch, itâs decided the blindfolds will be used for a different purpose.
Trust falls.
Well, not so much trust falls, as youâre each blindfolded and tasked with the challenge of walking across the bullpen without falling.Â
âWeâll pair up!â Penelope announces, rubbing her hands together with glee, âHotch youâre with Rossi, Emily youâre with me, Derek youâre with ____, and Spencer youâre with J.J!â
Oh
You will away the tinge of disappointment that flares in your chest at not having been paired with Spencer. Although, when you look up at him, you swear you can see a similar feeling sitting behind his eyes.
Probably reading too much into it
âReid has an unfair advantage,â J.J argues, interrupting your thoughts.
âHow do I have an unfair advantage?â Spencer asks.
âEidetic memory,â She replies.
There are murmers of dissent, then Rossi pipes up.
âIf you canât make it across the bullpen you walk everyday without falling, I think you seriously need to consider whether you should be out in the field with a gun.â
Everybody laughs. They laugh more, though, when Rossi falls on his first attempt, crashing into Hotch. The two decide to resign from the game after that. Hotch plays the health and safety card, but privately you think itâs the double whiskeys that have betrayed him.
âYou think you can do it?â You ask Spencer.
He smirks, âI could do it in my sleep.â
You shake your head, âYour legs are too long. Youâre like Bambi at the best of times, let alone three mai tais in.â
âTwo,â He objects, you quirk a brow and he relents, âFine, three. And a whiskey Rossi gave me which was awful. I drank it fast and then he told me that one glass Iâd had would cost $40. Who would pay $40 to drink that voluntarily?â
âRossi, Hotch, Emily,â You smile, nudging him with your elbow, âAnd donât think youâve distracted me Spence, Iâm still betting you fall.â
âYouâre betting?â
âYeah.â
âYouâre that confident in my ability to mess up,â He teases.
âSomething like that.â
He grins, âYouâll see.â
He takes the blindfold when itâs his turn, smirking at you as he adjusts it onto his face. Itâs with a great degree of annoyance that you watch him clear the bullpen in five easy, and somehow very elegant, steps.
âGo Spence!â J.J cheers, her previous displeasure completely forgotten.
âPretty boy!â Morgan cheers.
Without taking the blindfold off, Spencer tilts his head to exactly where youâre standing, smirking, âYou wanna go next, ____?â
Itâs hard not to visibly react to what his cockiness does to you.
You swallow, âFine. Give it here.â
***
You move your feet confidently one in front of the other. After almost a year of walking the bullpen, youâre pretty certain you can get across it unscathed. You even remember to swing your hip to the right to miss the Santa gnome gone fishing currently hanging off Derekâs desk. In doing so, however, you manage to get yourself all caught up.
With a single step, you feel yourself slipping, arms flailing and managing to catch on to absolutely nothing. You panic.
"Spencer!"
"Spencer?!"
Spencer.
You recognise the feeling of his hands steadying you at your waist. He pulls you against his body, tucking your outstretched arm into him to steady you. You vaguely register Derekâs amused chuckle from behind you.
âI got you,â Spencer says, âStay still, Iâll take the blindfold off.â
His hands gently slide up your cheeks, lifting it with care to avoid yanking on your hair. He pulls it up and away from your head smoothly.
The lights are dizzyingly bright. You blink rapidly, allowing your eyes to adjust on the face of the slightly concerned, slightly amused looking Spencer hovering above you. His left hand lingering against your cheek. You forget yourself entirely, lost in the intimacy of his touch, barely daring to blink in case itâs gone.
âMistletoe!â Penelope cackles with glee, breaking your reverie.
âWhat?â You ask.
Spencer looks up. You follow his gaze, seeing the strategically placed mistletoe. In guiding you to safety, Spencer had walked right into Penelopeâs trap.
Oh.
Derek teases something, underscored by a quip from Emily that has them both in hysterics. Neither you or Spencer are really listening.
Heâs already so close to you. The pressure of his hand on your cheek starting to make you flush with warmth. His thumb strokes downwards, over your cheekbone. You tilt yourself a little towards him. Trying desperately to act casual, but ultimately failing miserably. His breath fans over your face, smelling faintly of rum and lime.
âNot like this,â He whispers, so quiet that only you can possibly hear him.
He presses a kiss to your cheek instead.
Fuck.
âVery exciting stuff guys,â Emily chirps.
Vaguely, youâre aware of J.J admonishing her, Rossiâs eyes studying you, Derekâs laughter, Penelopeâs squeal of delight that someone had finally fallen into her trap.
Your heart thumps in your chest, and you wonder if itâs loud enough for Spencer to hear. From the way he swallows thickly, stepping back with a degree of caution and a look of a deer caught in the headlines, you think it probably was.
Fuck.
What did he mean not like this?
***
After the mistletoe debaccle, the party starts to die down a little. Hotch makes an excuse to leave, shortly followed by Rossi.
You stick around for a little while longer, devoting most of your time to the decidedly tipsy Penelope whoâs hanging off Derekâs arm. The mood is nice, actually, a welcome change from the tense atmosphere that often clouds the bullpen, and its occupants wherever in the US they may be.
Itâs a little after 1am when you decide to make your exit.
âDo you want to share an Uber?â You ask Spencer, gripping onto his elbow as he walks past.
âYeah! I was planning on taking the metro but youâll be safer in an Uber.â
âAre you...sharing it with me?â You ask, feeling a little awkward at having to repeat the request for clarification. The tipsiness youâd initially felt has started to wear off; it leaves both tiredness and an odd shyness in its place.
âOh no! Of course!â He smiles, grabbing his satchel from where itâs slung over the back of his chair, âWeâll get them to drop you off first, then me.â
***
The wait for the Uber is silent, but not uncomfortable. You loll against Spencer, comfortable in the quiet. The only sounds to be heard of keys as various other agents leave the building. Itâs easy to tell which are coming from the grind of the paperwork and which are coming from their own parties. Youâd like to attribute it to a years worth of profiling experience but the tinsel around Jerry from White Collar Crimesâ neck is a tad on the nose.
You donât speak until it arrives, climbing in and closing the door. Clicking your seatbelt into place.
âSorry about embarassing us before,â You say, purposely being ambiguous.
He squints at you for a moment before opening his mouth, âYou mean calling for me when you fell?â
âYeah,â You say,
âYou didnât embarass me,â He says, quiet, âIt was nice actually. Nobodyâs ever called for me when theyâve been in trouble before.â
âWhat do you mean?â
âI uh, I guess Iâm not the most athletic. People usually go to Morgan if they need some kind of physical help. It was nice. That you wanted me. Even if you are drunk.â
âIâd have asked for you sober,â You admit.
He squints in response, and you continue, âI trust you Spence. I trust you to always have my back in the field, to protect me. Iâd trust you with my life. I mean, of course Iâd trust any one of the others, the team wouldnât work otherwise. But,â You trail off, a little embarassed.
âBut itâs different.â
âYeah. Like youâre the person Iâm closest to I guess. In the almost year Iâve been here, weâve worked together the most. I think I have the best working relationship with you. If ever there was a crisis, Iâd want you. Even if the crisis is me tripping on my own shoelaces while blindfolded.â
You both laugh at that. Itâd be easy to succumb to a comfortable silence again, let the moment fizzle out.
âI think the same about you,â He says, his voice cracks a little with the sincerity, âWhenever anything goes wrong. Youâre the person I want to talk to.â
You move your hand forward to close the gap between you two, taking his hand in yours and squeezing it, âIâm really glad we have each other Spence.â
âEven when I beat you?â The playful glint in his eye is back.
âEven when you beat me.â
âIf I remember correctly, and I usually do, you actually owe me for losing the bet.â
âOh yeah?â
âYeah, you said âIâm still betting you fail.ââ
You smile, âWe never agreed what we were betting.â
âWe didnât.â
"So what do you want as your prize then, Rudolph?â
âRudolph?â He laughs a little, incredulously.
âWell I called you Bambi before and obviously youâve proved youâre more talented, I needed to pick a respectably agile deer.â
âRudolph was known for his nose, not his agility.â
âThe song says he guided the sleigh Spence, he couldnât have done that if he wasnât agile.â
He shakes his head at you, âHe was just in charge of the lights.â
âDid they or did they not get around the world safely?â
âThe song never clarifies that.â
âItâd be a little dark for them to kill off Rudolph.â
âProbably why they didnât include it in the song.â
You huff out a laugh, rolling your eyes, âWell anytime you decide to stop nitpicking my compliments and decide what you want as your prize is fine by me, honestly.â
He smiles, obviously having decided to answer you sincerely. You study him as he, presumably weighs up his options, his teeth momentarily catching his plush lower lip. You swear you see his eyes flicker to your mouth. But then you blink, and heâs studying you thoughtfully.
Just wishful thinking
"Caramel,â He settles on.
"Caramel?â
âLast year I went to this coffee shop and I got their festive caramel coffee. It was amazing. But they only did it that one year, they gave me the recipe for the syrup but...â He trails off, looking embarassed, and when he speaks again his voice is quieter, âI kept burning it. I had a thermometer but I couldnât get the temperature quite right.â
"You want me to make you caramel syrup for coffee? Mixologist skills donât extend quite that far?â
He doesnât say anything, instead pressing his lips together in a thin line. Almost as if heâs worried for your reaction.
You're quick to follow yourself up, âWell Iâd be happy to give it a try, but I think Iâll need somebody to taste test it. Make sure Iâm getting it right.â
He grins, âIâm probably a better taste taster than maker.â
âWell, weâre off for a few days, assuming we donât get any cases. Youâre at Ethanâs for Christmas, right? When are you back?â
âThe 27th. But Iâm going to visit my mom over new years, so Iâm leaving again on the 30th.â
You nod, âWell, how about the 28th?â
âThe 28th sounds good.â
Itâs impossibly good (bad) timing that the Uber pulls up outside your building.
âWell Iâll look forward to it,â You say, undoing your seatbelt.
âMe too.â
Thereâs a silence. Not uncomfortable, but definitely not like the one earlier. Your eyes linger on one another, almost cautious. Thereâs a buzz in the air, one that can't quite be attributed to alcohol.
Ask him what he meant by not like this
No
Ask him
âThis your place?â The Uber driver asks, clicking his tongue with a degree of impatience.
âYeah,â You reply, nodding. Reluctantly, you push open the car door, turning your head over your shoulder to look at Spencer as you depart.
His mouth hangs open a little, words seeming to play across his lips. Not making them out of his mouth. The driver clears his throat, and you throw him an apologetic glance. Spencerâs Uber rating will be in the toilet after this.
Good job he takes the Metro.
"Have a good Christmas Spence,â You say, wondering if he can tell. Wondering if he can sense how badly you want to stay, to let this Uber drive you around the backstreets of Virginia. Theyâre not particularly pretty. But there isnât much you wouldnât do just to spend time with him. Youâd even allow yourself to promise caramel syrup you know youâll butcher.
If he knows, the wistful look in his eyes doesnât betray it.
âHave a good Christmas, _____.â

SYNOPSIS - Club Stupid, an anonymous podcast meant for the dumb and dumbest to send in unspoken and nonsensical thoughts about issues they face in their day to day lives and for Y/n to speak out and give her opinions and feelings. Normal feelings though, nothing romantic like how she thinks this lazy guy with questionable hair in the volleyball club is actually pretty cute.
a/n:Â bringing this baby back because we recently hit 5k notes :DÂ this is also my peace offering for my sudden absence on this blog LMAOÂ sit back and enjoy as we catch up with suna and yn as well as witness whipped!sunaÂ
[Somewhere at the start of December]
âI donât understandâ
âDonât understand what?â
âYouâre the one who failed your test, why am I the one buying groceries?â
âBecause I paid during our last dateâ
âRin, Iâm helping you study. Does this even count as a date?âÂ
You looked down at your hands that were holding bags full of ingredients you needed to make some sukiyaki. With the boys being on break from volleyball, Suna had texted you after school asking for help to review for a retake on a test he failed.Â
You had to take a double-take while reading the text because, Suna? Studying? Willingly? A rare combination.
The original plan was to go straight to his house since his family owned a really nice kotatsu table that also acted as a couch. With winter settling in and the weather starting to get much colder, you and Suna quickly realized that neither of you enjoyed going out during this time of the year. Sure, the snowflakes were pretty, but sitting comfortably under a warm kotatsu surrounded by snacks while you tried to get his mind around trigonometry sounded more appealing
Suna looked down at you, âYouâre acting as if youâre not craving a hot pot right now,â You rolled your eyes, âI never said I wasnât craving it, I just know that Iâm gonna be doing most of the work because your ass canât cookâ you reasoned. Suna shrugged, ânot my fault you decided to upgrade your cooking skills during the past 5 months weâve been togetherâ You rolled your eyes and buried your face deeper into Sunaâs scarf that was wrapped around your neck in an attempt to cover up the blush rising up on your cheeks.Â
A smug smile came upon Sunaâs lips as he watched you get embarrassed. You two were still going strong and had hit 5 months just a week ago. Even though you both had your minor little arguments here and there, you were both still content and happy with each other.Â
With 5 months flying by, Suna didnât think that it was possible for him to fall for you even more. By now, you had both settled into a comfortable state in your relationship. Regular dates about once or twice during the week with a couple of sleepovers and late-night facetime calls thrown in between. Since it was colder, he had at least two hoodies on him at all times. One for you and one for him (but he wouldnât mind if you took both.) He enjoyed seeing the sight of you curled up in his hoodie when you stayed over at his place or when found himself keeping you company as you edited your podcast for the week.
Once the second semester of the school year started, you started to branch out a little bit more on your own and found yourself being busier as you started joining clubs of your own interest.Â
Sure Suna was a bit disappointed that he wouldnât be seeing you sitting by the bleachers anymore during practice, but he understood that you had your own passions and needed your own group of friends outside of the boys on volleyball team.
He liked seeing the smile on your face when you talked to him about something your friend had said or about how fun of a day you had after hanging out with them. He had to reassure you many times that he didnât mind you hanging out with other people at all, you both knew and did your best to balance your time with friends and each other anyways.
Plus, he thought it was quite cute that youâd always give him a quick kiss on the cheek when youâd walk by the water fountain before running off with your club members.
[âSuna hurry up!â he heard Atsumu call for him by the entrance of the gym.Â
Suna spared him one glance before straightening himself up and lifting his palm off the button of the water fountain. He gave the setter a nod as he wiped the corner of his lip with the back of his hand.Â
Just then, he could hear a familiar voice calling for his name behind him. Not too long after that, he felt a pair of arms wrap around his waist and a chaste kiss pressed on his cheek. The corner of his lip twitched up and he looked down to meet your e/c eyes. âHey bub, donât you have club activities?â he asked. You nodded, still not letting go of his waist, âjust wanted to come and say hello, so...helloâ you grinned. Suna smiled and pressed a kiss to your temple, âwell hello to you tooâ he muttered before wrapping his arms around you and embracing you with all his warmth.Â
âY/n you piece of shit there you are!âÂ
You jumped back at the sound of your friendâs voice from around the corner. You pulled out of Sunaâs embrace and gave him an apologetic smile while rubbing the back of your neck, âSorry Rin gotta run, see you after school!â you didnât even give him a chance to respond as you placed one last kiss on his jaw before running off to your friends.Â
Even though he could hear the faint yelling of Atsumuâs voice calling for him at the back of his head, his eyes were focused on the way your face turned red as your friends teased you.Â
God, who let you be so damn cute]
Suna took out one of his hands from the pocket of his coat and wrapped it over your shoulder and pulled you a bit closer to his side. You leaned into his side and let your hair rest lightly onto his chest.
âYouâre so annoying, Iâm not making any hot pot for youâ
âI will lock you outside of my houseâ
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*Â
Stepping inside the Suna household, you were instantly met with warmth. Suna flickered the lights on as you slipped off your shoes. Suna slipped off his own jacket and motioned for you to give yours to him as well so he could hang it up inside the coat closet. You smiled and put the groceries you were holding in one hand and let him help you shrug off your coat.Â
âHere give me your bag, Iâll place it by the couch,â he said with his hand out. You nodded and handed him your backpack as you slipped on some house slippers and made your way towards the kitchen and settled the bags down onto the island.Â
As you took the ingredients out of the bag, Suna walked into the living room and turned the TV on to a random show. You were way too invested in deciding which vegetables you wanted to include in the hot pot that you didnât hear Suna walk towards you with his phone in his hands and the camera app open.
âBabe smileâ
âHuhâ
Just as you looked up, with mushrooms and green onions in your hand, you hear the sound of the camera shutter go off and Suna snicker. âCuteâ he grinned.Â
You rolled your eyes, âI thought you only took blackmail of the twinsâ Suna put his phone down and raised his eyebrows at you, âwould you rather have your face or Atsumuâs all over my gallery?â he asked. You thought about it for a minute before nodding, âyeah no never mind you have a pointâ he chuckled and walked over to you and placed a kiss on your cheek.Â
âI need to grab my charger really quick, you know where everything is right?â you nodded, youâve been over at the Suna residence before and this wouldnât be the first time youâve cooked there.Â
âDo you need anything upstairs?â he asked. Your ears perked up at the sound of his offer, âCan I borrow a hoodie?â you asked. Suna eyed you up and down, âyouâre already wearing one of my hoodiesâ he stated and narrowed his eyes on the navy blue hoodie over your figure. âNo, no, I mean can I wear the really soft one? The black one with the embroidering and cool design on the backâ you smiled and gave him a look that you both knew he couldnât say no for.Â
Suna knew what hoodie you were talking about, it was a hoodie that you often wore of his that he hasnât brought to school in a bit since it was in the laundry. âThink of it as your payment for me since Iâm cooking you a mealâ you grinned. Suna sighed, âfine, hands up,â he said as put his phone into his pocket and made his way over to you.Â
You giggled and did what you were told and lifted your arms up and watched as he held onto the ends of the hoodie and lifted it over your head. Once you felt the sleeves of the hoodie be pulled off your arms, you put them down and straightened your hair and your shirt and smiled up at him, âthank you~â he rolled his eyes âyouâre lucky youâre cuteâ he muttered and looked away which made you laugh. You made your way back to the kitchen and heard his steps going up the stairs. Â
You sighed as you eyed down the ingredients, you forgot to ask him if his parents may have wanted some. You didnât wanna cook too much and not have the means to finish it all but you also didnât wanna make too little and leave you both hungry. âBetter more than lessâ you thought.Â
You turned around and grabbed the cutting board from one of the cabinets and a knife from one of the drawers. Placing the cutting board and the knife on the marble island, you grabbed the bagged vegetables and placed them on a clean plate and discarded the plastic in the trash bin beside the fridge. You ran the vegetables under some water from the sink to clean them before placing them back on the plate and setting them to the side so you could grab another pot and start boiling the water on the stove.
You were silently thankful that Granny and Shin had helped you learn how to make a proper hot pot. As you opened the packet of udon noodles, you were too much in your zone to notice what was happening around you.Â
Your cooking was sometimes a hit or miss and with the day youâve had, you were hungry, and the last thing you wanted was for the meal you took some time to make to taste terrible and leave you hungrier than when you started. The sound of the TV playing in the background drowned and you focused your attention on the cabbage you were cutting.Â
You were way too concentrated on making sure that each cabbage slice was the same in length as the rest that you failed to hear the sounds of the front door opening and closing and a female figure walking into the home.Â
âNii-san~oh what the fuck since when did you cook-â
The sudden voice coming into the kitchen and cutting through your concentration made you jump and unfortunately for you, your finger slipped off the cabbage and met the blade of the knife you were using.Â
âOh shitâ you hissed in pain and lifted your finger off the cutting board. However, instead of immediately tending to the cut, you looked up at the figure to whom the voice belonged to.Â
You looked up and made eye contact with a little girl who was definitely not that much shorter than you. Judging from her middle school uniform, she was definitely between the ages of 11-13. She had brown hair tied into two pigtails, rosy cheeks that were the result of the weather outside, and slim grayish-yellow eyes that were awfully familiar.Â
Your brain mustâve short-circuited as two and two didnât click in your head and a good couple of seconds passed as you both stared at each other in complete silence, mirroring the shocked and confused expression both of you had on your faces.Â
Just as you were about to open your mouth and say a word, you watched her face become completely red and she dashed up the stairs leaving you stunned and completely lost while your finger continued to bleed.Â
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*Â
Suna hummed to himself as he rummaged through his closet and tried to find the hoodie of his that you were asking for. He had changed out of his uniform into some more comfortable clothes and had his back towards the door.Â
âShit, where did I put it?â he muttered to himself and closed the doors to his closet. Just as he turned around, the door to his room opened making his eyebrows furrow in annoyance at the amount of force that was used to open his door.Â
âBabe did you need something-â
âNii-san! Thereâs a pretty girl in our kitchen!â
Oh, that was definitely not the voice of his girlfriend.
Suna sighed and went back to his task of finding the hoodie that you wanted, completely ignoring the sudden appearance of his little sister. However, a small smile tugged on his lips as he heard his sister call you pretty.Â
His sister came into his room and looked at her brother in annoyance as she noticed how nonchalant he looked, âhello?? Thereâs a pretty girl downstairs that is definitely not âkaasan so who-â âIdiot. Thatâs my girlfriendâ
His sister blinked at him once,
Then once again,
And one last time just for good measure.
âHUH??â she yelled with a face of disbelief. Suna looked at her weirdly and watched as she flopped down onto his bed with a bewildered expression as she tried to wrap her mind around the new information she was just given.Â
âYou? Girlfriend? For real?â she asked in shock. The concept of her brother actually getting a girlfriend not clicking in her head. âAre you sure sheâs not some group project partner or something?â Suna scrunched his face, âWhy do you look so shocked, I told you about her before-â âNii-san I thought you were lying!â she exclaimed. Suna gave her a blank look and sighed, a part of him not even surprised that his sister thought he was joking.
He rolled his eyes and walked over to slap the back of her head, âStupid. Why would I lie about thatâ She gave him an exaggerated shrug, âuh because sheâs too pretty for you! Sheâs even cooking for you! Iâm calling it right now that sheâs too good for youâ she stated and crossed her arms.Â
âRizu, youâre so stupid I swear to god-â he asked. Rizu shook her head âDonât blame this on me!â Suna gave her an unamused look, âeven âkaasan and âtosan knowâ Rizu rolled her eyes, âI thought they were in on the joke too!â she exclaimed.
Suna shook his head but took a sigh of relief as he finally found the hoodie he was looking for hanging on the back of his chair, âYouâre such a twerp. Did you at least say hi to her?â he asked as he looked down at her once he got the hoodie. Rizuâs face flushed in embarrassment and she scratched the back of her head, âKinda I guessâ Suna narrowed her eyes as he caught on to how nervous she got. He suddenly got suspicious, âwhat did you do?â
âNothing bad! I think? just donât get mad âkay?â Suna already began to worry about what she was gonna say.Â
âI came in and called for you, but I didnât know she was cooking so she mustâve been startled and then next thing you know I come in, and we make eye contact and -oh yeah good job Nii-san, you might be stupid but youâve got a good eye. Sheâs wow, took my whole breath away you know?- anyways I had to take a sec to admire her, but I think I startled her and I think she cut herself because her finger was bleeding and then I panicked and yeah now Iâm here,â she said all in one breath and met eyes with his blank once as she gave him a bright smile.Â
âRizuâ
âHm?â
âIâm gonna throw out all your postersâ
âWait what?! No Nii-san come back!!â
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*Â
âRizu say sorryâ
Your eyes shifted from your boyfriend who was wrapping a paw patrol bandaid on your finger to the same little girl who stood beside him and was sheepishly looking down at the floor and avoiding all eye contact with you.Â
Suna sat you down on a chair in the dining room and a part of you was zoning out as you tried to wrap your mind around what was happening. Looking at the girl who has a striking resemblance to Suna, it didnât take a genius to know that this was his sister. They had the same striking eyes, cocoa brown hair, and she was even a bit taller for her age.Â
There was no denying it, this was definitely his sister.Â
But for the life of you, you canât remember if your quiet bean pole of a boyfriend ever told you of her. Surely you wouldâve remembered if he had told you. Did he forget? Or maybe you just failed to notice her presence. Then again you had been over multiple times but you donât ever remember seeing her.Â
âSorryâ she muttered quietly and began to play with the material of her school uniform top.Â
Suna rolled his eyes and nudged her with his elbow, âat least look at her when youâre gonna say itâ Just as you were about to interject and say that it was okay and it really wasnât a big deal, Rizu looked up at you, her eyes glassy and her lip slightly jutting out as she puffed her cheeks, âIâm so sorry! Youâre very pretty! My head malfunctioned! Please donât break up with Nii-san! Heâs lonely!â she cried. Your eyes widened, taken back by her âapologyâ and Suna only rolled his eyes and clicked his tongue in annoyance. Â
âI-itâs fine really, itâs just a small cut anyways, no biggie Rizu-chanâ you assured.
At the way you said her name, Rizuâs whole mood flipped. Her eyes instantly sparkled and she looked up at you with a face of adoration. She wiped away her tears away with the sleeve of her top and harshly pushed her brother to the side making him let go of your hands as he stumbled over. Your eyes widened at the amount of strength inside the little girl in front of you as she managed to push away your 6ft tall boyfriend to the side like it was nothing.Â
âReally? Are you sure itâs okay? Y/n right? Iâm gonna call you Y/n-chan! I think weâd make great friendsâ she beamed, her eyes still twinkling as she looked at you with an excited daze. âHow come weâve never met before? I thought Nii-san was lying about you. Do you like drama? how about musicals? You can come to my show next week! And are you sure youâre dating Nii-san? You can run now I can distract him for you-â your mind couldnât even process the words she was saying with how fast she was talking. You felt your palms starting to get clammy and a part of you began internally panicking at how overwhelmed you were feeling.
In Rizuâs perspective, she had always wanted an older sister but was instead cursed with (in her words) a musty older brother. Now that she knew of his girlfriend, she wasnât gonna let the opportunity slip away. They were gonna become the best of friends. She knew it.
You laughed nervously and nodded along during her incoherent ramble before turning to Suna with a slight look of panic as you didnât know what to do or how to handle her sudden change of emotions and the never ending fountain of words leaving her mouth.Â
Suna sensed your need for his help, he knew that little kids were never really your strong point. Along with Kita, you also lived with his little siblings who were your little cousins. They were the ages of 4 and 9 and you often complained to him about how they gave you a headache with how loud and rambunctious they were.Â
He had to hold back a laugh at how panic you began to look when his sister began to talk your ear off. She kept switching topics and was now rambling on about how pretty you were and asking what moisturizer you used because your skin looked so soft and why you decided to date her brother who she considered looked like a malnourished raccoon.Â
Shaking his head and holding back a smile, he walked over and flicked his sisterâs forehead making her stop midway into her sentence and whine. âThe hell was that for!â she cried as she rubbed the sore spot on her head.Â
Suna rolled his eyes at her dramatics and stuffed one of his hands into his pockets while the other found its way to rest on the small of your back, drawing shapes on the cotton fabric of the black hoodie that he slipped onto your figure when he got back downstairs. âStop being so rude brat. Relax and introduce yourself first before you start thinking about getting buddy-buddy alreadyâ he scolded in his usual bored tone.
You were baffled. Seeing your boyfriend act like a responsible big brother was something you were definitely not prepared to see today.Â
Hell, you didnât even know he had a sister until literally a couple of minutes ago.Â
Suna felt you staring at him and looked down at you with one of his brows slightly raised up as if he was asking if you were okay. Before you could reassure him that you were fine, Rizu cleared her throat and took a step back from you.Â
She put a hand on her hip while she proudly pointed her thumb to her chest as she looked at you with a confident and prideful smile. âSuna Rizue, Rizu for short, Class 2-B Representative and Vice president of the Nobara Middle School drama clubâ she exclaims proudly. She flipped away one of her pigtails back behind her shoulder before crossing her arms, the same prideful smile never leaving her lips while her eyes had a flash of mischievousness in them. âIâm also known around this household as the prettiest Suna sibling. âKaasan said so herselfâ she spoke triumphantly.Â
You stifled a laugh as Suna clicked his tongue and muttered âdramatic bratâ under his breath.Â
As you felt yourself slowly relax, you stood from your seat, realizing not too long after that you were barely taller than his little sister but chose to ignore that minor detail, you extended your hand out to his sister and watched the way her face lit up. âL/n Y/n, Class 2-5 and member of the Inarizaki art club. While your brother is cute, I have to agree that you are the prettier Suna siblingâ you joked and turned to Suna momentarily with a teasing glint with your eyes. Suna only narrowed his eyes at you and furrowed his brows which made both you and Rizu laugh.Â
You turned back to Rizu and smiled, âItâs nice to meet you Rizu-chan, Rin doesnât really bring you up much-â or ever âso Iâm sorry it took so long for us to meet.â
Rizu shook her head, âItâs okay! Nii-san talks about you sometimes but I thought he was just lying. Heâs kind of lame and he zones out a lot so I thought you were just some weird figment of his imagination that he made to cope with his lonelinessâ your jaw dropped, were kids always this blunt?Â
Rizu shrugged and pulled her phone out of her backpack, âBut whatever, I guess the universe felt bad for him and decided not to make him some lonely loser. Anyways, can we exchange numbers Y/n-chan? I wanna send you Nii-sans baby photosâ she smiled and looked up at you hopefully. At the sound of Sunaâs baby photos being offered up on the table, you quickly nodded and typed in your contact info into her phone.Â
Sunaâs jaw dropped ever so slightly before scoffing and looking away as he crossed his arms. âCanât believe my own girlfriend is ganging up on me with my sisterâ he thought in disbelief.Â
âRizu-chan youâre brother and I are gonna make some hot pot, want some?â you asked as you handed her phone back into her hands. Rizu nodded enthusiastically, âthat sounds great! Can I help? Please!â she asked in a hopeful tone as she brought her hands together. You laughed and nodded and watched her beam and skip away to the kitchen.Â
Before following her, you turned around to look up at Suna with a frown on your face and your arms crossed over your chest. Suna looked back at you, unsure of why you were giving him that look. âWhat?â he asked, which only made you look at him in disbelief at his cluelessness. You scoffed and rolled your eyes before making your way towards him and slapping his arm, âYou idiot! You never told me you had a little sisterâ you hissed.Â
Suna blinked at you, âI didnât?â he asked, genuinely confused, while raising one of his eyebrows. You looked at him incredulously and shook your head, âno!â you exclaimed. âGod I canât believe you didnât tell meâ you muttered and looked away, cheeks warming up in embarrassment.
Suna eyed your actions and sighed knowing that he mustâve upset you. If heâs being honest, he didnât mean to keep you in the dark about his sister. He just always had his mind on you whenever the two of you would hang out so he truthfully forgot about his sister whenever you two were together. He sighed, he leaned back to sit on the edge of the dining room table before grabbing your arm and pulling you closer to his chest.Â
When you didnât budge against him, he wrapped his arms around your shoulders and he leaned his head on your shoulders before muttering a quiet, âsorryâ into the fabric of his hoodie. A couple seconds passed before you gave in and wrapped your arms around his waist, embracing his warmth.Â
Truthfully you werenât upset or mad at him, just a bit embarrassed that you never knew about his sister until literally a couple of moments ago. You remember how nervous you were when you first met his parents and felt all those nerves coming back because you wanted to impress his little sister.Â
You pulled away first and scratched the back of your neck, âItâs fine Rin Iâm not mad. If anything Iâm just a bit embarrassed that I never noticed. I mean Iâve met your parents and been over multiple times. Plus Iâve slept over like twice already!â you exclaimed.Â
Suna moved his arms off your shoulder and used one to support his weight on the table while the other moved your hair away from your face and tucked some strands behind your ear. âItâs not your fault, The brat is always away doing her drama club stuff or whatever so she doesnât get back until Iâve already walked you home for the night. For the sleepover, I think itâs just a coincidence that she would be away while you were overâ he said and you nodded.Â
Suna stared at you for a moment, he caught onto how uneasy you looked and immediately figured out why. âBabe, donât worry about impressing Rizu too much. Trust me, she already likes you a lotâ he said while using his thumb to rub the side of your neck gently.Â
You nodded slowly before looking up at him with a confused expression, âhow did you forget to tell me huh?â you asked. Suna thought back for a moment before shrugging nonchalantly, âI only think of you when weâre together, the brat is old enough to take care of herselfâ he admitted bluntly.
Your cheeks warmed up and you chuckled making Sunaâs chest erupt in butterflies at the sight of your smile. âCalling your sister a brat is kind of rude you know?â you teased. He looked at you with an unamused expression, âyou call your little cousins' demon spawns as if thatâs any betterâ he pointed out. You opened your mouth but quickly closed it as you realized he was right.Â
Suna pushed himself off of the table and walked towards you and you already saw the mischievous look in his eyes. He leaned down, his lips just barely brushing over yours, âam I forgiven?â he asked in a hushed tone. Your face quickly turned into a bright shade of red once you realized how close he got. While the offer was tempting and his lips were right there, you remembered that his sister was only just a couple feet away from the two of you and you didnât want to risk her seeing anything.Â
You didnât answer and only looked away, flustered, which made Suna chuckle. He pecked the corner of your lips before straightening himself up, âIâll take that as a yesâ he smirked, making you roll your eyes.Â
Suna then grabbed your shoulders and turned you around as he pushed you into the kitchen where his little was sitting on top of the counter wearing a blue apron while a pink folded apron was in her hands.Â
She looked up at the two of you entering the kitchen, she smiled at you and noticed how flustered you. She shot her brother a look of disgust. âEw donât tell me you were making out in the dining room. So gross Nii-sanâ she commented as her brother walked towards her to grab the extra apron in her hands.Â
Suna looked at her with his normal bored and lazy expression, âshut it bratâ he said before turning his back and making his way towards you. Rizu rolled her eyes and turned her attention back onto her phone. It wasnât until she started to hear the two of you banter when she put down her phone in her lap and watched the way you and her brother interacted.Â
She listened to you ask about what vegetables he would want in the hot pot and watched as he moved behind your back and pushed your hair over your shoulder so he could tie the strings of the pink apron behind your neck.Â
The sight was strange and oddly sweet. Rizu always thought that her brother would be a terrible boyfriend. He was quiet, borderline lazy, and had no romantic bone in him. He seemed like the type of partner who would do nothing but the bare minimum when theyâre in a relationship. He was often annoyed at the sight of other couples and he never had much interest in being in a relationship himself which was partly the reason why Rizu didnât think to believe him when he told their parents that he had a girlfriend out of the blue one day.
[âRintarou stop playing aroundâ Their mother chuckled.Â
âNo for real, I have a girlfriend and she wants to go stargazing so Iâll be home lateâ he said monotonically before slipping on his shoes and heading out the door.
Rizu watched as her parents exchanged a lost expression with a mix of disbelief towards each other. Part of them were surprised, part of them were happy, but part of them didnât know if he was playing around or not.Â
âDid you know about this?â Their mother asked their Dad who was grabbing a glass from the cupboard. Their Dad only shook his head, âNo. You think thatâs why heâs been so busy lately?â he asked only to receive a clueless shrug from his wife.Â
Rizu rolled her eyes and jumped up from the couch to face her parents. âCome on this is Nii-san weâre talking about. Heâs probably just lying. He canât even talk to girls, let alone get a full on girlfriendâ]
âThat statement didnât age wellâ Rizu thought.
Her eyes followed the way he had the smallest smile on his face as he adjusted your apron, asking afterwards if it was comfortable or if you needed him to adjust it better. Once you told him it was okay, he moved onto gathering your hair into his hands and tying it back with the small black silk band he had around his wrist. Suna placed his hands back onto your shoulders to turn you around to face him. He brought his hand over your face and moved the fly-aways to the side while tucking the loose pieces behind your ear.Â
After he was done, you stood on your tippy-toes and pressed a kiss onto his cheek and whispered a quiet âthank you Rin Rin.â She narrowed her eyes and had to hold back her urge to laugh at how the tips of his ears lit up into a bright shade of red. It was then that she concluded one thing:
âheâs so fucking whippedâ she muttered under her breath.
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*Â
âWait are you serious? He really gave you a can of lemonade for your birthday?â you asked looking up from the meat you were slicing in bewilderment as Rizu nodded. âMhm! It wasnât even the brand I liked, it was the generic ones that had too much sugarâ she explained as she moved past you to set the bowl of mushrooms she had cut up with the other vegetables.Â
You turned to look at Suna who was sitting on a stool by the kitchen island with his attention fully on his phone. âIs this true?â you questioned. Suna didnât even look up from his phone as he simply replied, âshe likes lemonade.â
You stifled a laugh at his answer and Rizu only scowled. She nudged your arm and whispered âI dunno how you put up with himâ into your ear making you giggle.Â
Cooking with the Suna siblings was definitely interesting, to say the least. You werenât surprised to see that Rizu was a complete polar opposite from her brother. Judging from her first words to you, you knew that she was a lot more outspoken than her brother. While Suna was quiet, Rizu spoke as if she had a microphone taped onto her mouth. She was talkative and energetic while Suna always seemed like he was close to shutting off at any given moment.Â
Their dynamic was different, to say the least. Rizu lived up to the annoying little sister type while her brother looked as if he could care less about whatever she did. However, all siblings had at least one thing in common and between them, and you figured out what that thing was quickly.Â
They both shared a high level of pettiness.Â
If one said something the other didnât like, theyâd find something expose worthy to embarrass the other person. It was a constant back and forth of how could embarrass the other person the worst.Â
When Rizu told you that Suna didnât learn how to tie his shoelaces until he was 8, Suna told you that she failed her math test. When Suna told you that she once slipped on stage mid-performance, Rizu told you that Suna came to their mother when he needed dating advice.Â
[ Nii-san shut up! The stage was slippery and my costume was a long dress!â Rizu cried out dramatically. Suna rolled his eyes, âthe costumes of your classmates were long but you didnât see them tripping all over the stageâ he teased. Rizuâs jaw dropped, a fire inside lit up as she felt herself getting angry with her older brother. âTwo can play at this gameâ she thought.Â
Rizu scoffed and turned to face her body towards you as she leaned onto the counter. âYou know Yn-chan, Nii-san always asks âkaasan about what he should do to impress you! You know that sunflower field date? He and âKaasan planned that whole thing together âcause Nii-san is a clueless idiot and didnât know what to doâ You turned your head to the side and looked at Rizu with a curious expression before briefly looking at your boyfriend who had tensed up.Â
âReally now? Rin had me convinced that he did all the planning himselfâ you teased as you narrowed your eyes at him. Suna huffed, âshe just let me use her card to pay for the stupid tickets, I did everything else.â he muttered.Â
You chuckled, noticing the way his cheeks puffed out and how the tips of his ears started to turn red. You smiled as you nodded at what Rizu saying, momentarily glancing at him every so often.Â
How cute.
Suna then looked up from his phone, a devious smirk on his lips as he knew the perfect moment to us in order to one-up her previous statement.
âBabe did you know that Rizu sleeps with an Eren body pillow-â
âshut up!!â ]
It was a never-ending petty battle between the two siblings.Â
Nonetheless, you could tell that they still cared about each other. Albeit in their own special way.Â
Rizu rolled her eyes and turned to you and leaned closer, whispering loud enough so that her brother could hear, âY/n-chan are you sure youâre actually his girlfriend? Like willingly? If heâs paying you then I can guarantee that heâs not paying you enough. Blink twice if you need help-hey!â she whined as she felt a mushroom hit her arm. You both turned to Suna who had a smug smile on his face, âstop talking shit about me brat.â Rizu narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms, âor what Nii-san?â she challenged. âIâll tell âkaasan that you walked home with that boy yesterday,â he shot back.Â
Rizuâs smirked dropped, âhey! You promised you wouldnât tell her!â she whined. Suna shrugged his shoulders, âI liedâ he replied simply. Rizu scoffed, âI canât believe youâre dating such a meanie!â she exclaimed and began to angrily stir the broth in the pot.
You watched her actions momentarily before walking around the kitchen island and towards Suna and whacking his arm with a towel you were using to dry your hands. âStop being so mean to your sister!â you scolded. He looked at you with an unamused expression as he rubbed his arm, âshe was mean to me first,â he defended himself bluntly. You rolled your eyes and turned your back to go and start frying the beef.
A comfortable silence came into the kitchen as you and his sister continued cooking. Of course, this silence didnât last long as the two siblings would go back to their back and forth bantering but nonetheless, there was a comfortable and homey aura in the atmosphere.Â
The hot pot was coming together and you occasionally would have Suna try the meat and make sure that it tasted okay. Suna may not be the one cooking, but he had offered his assistance early on by cutting some of the tofu and cooking the udon noodles. You and Rizu would trail off and have your own conversation, missing the way Suna would glance up at the two of you, his hands propping up his phone as he took photos of the two of you laughing and joking around together.Â
The rest of the night went by smoothly. Once the hot pot was ready, you asked Suna to prepare the table while you and Rizu set the food down. Since it was nearing 6pm by the time you and Rizu had finished cooking, you all considered this an early dinner. You sat beside Suna while Rizu sat across from you as you all enjoyed a warm bowl of hot pot during a cold winter night.Â
Suna watched as you and Rizu talked about a certain anime you both had been watching and took everything within him to not smile at the moment. Seeing you interact with his sister warmed his heart and a part of him was relieved that you two got along well.Â
He knew that Rizu was a bit overbearing and you werenât a big fan of younger children so he was worried that you two would clash.Â
But alas, seeing that two of you laugh together put him at ease.Â
After dinner, Rizu knew better than to try and third wheel you and her brother. She could see from the way his shoulder kept brushing past yours and how his hands kept getting closer and closer to yours during dinner that he was itching to get any sort of alone time with you.Â
She could be a little shit and steal you from him during another day.
Before scurrying off to her room, Rizu gave you a high five before exclaiming once again that youâre really pretty and way too good for her stupid brother while also saying that she would text you his baby photos later. You laughed and nodded along and she flashed Suna a cheeky smile before running up the stairs.Â
Once his sister was finally gone, Suna grabbed your wrist and dragged you over to the kotatsu sofa in his living room and practically dragged you down. âWell arenât you clingyâ you teased as he pulled up the blankets over your legs. Suna rolled his eyes, muttering a quiet âshut upâ as he laid down and made himself comfortable under the blankets.Â
You mirrored his actions, shuffling under the blankets and finding a comfy spot to lay on. Sunaâs hands found their way around your waist and he moved you closer to him, letting your head rest against his chest. You couldnât help but laugh at how clingy he was being as you watched him shift so you were laying on top of him while he hugged you as if you were a teddy bear.Â
Suna leaned his head back comfortably on the couch cushion as closed his eyes and a content smile came over his face. âYouâre so warm,â he muttered quietly. You smiled âI think thatâs just the kotatsu heating Rin,â you said quietly muttered into his chest. âNo itâs definitely you, I always feel warm when Iâm with youâ he whispered.Â
You smiled, not failing the way his words made butterflies erupt in your stomach âhow cheesyâ you teased while momentarily lifting your head so you could poke his cheek. âWhateverâ he sighed, his arms around your waist slowly holding you just a bit tighter. âI thought we were supposed to be studying Rinâ you said quietly. âTomorrow, too comfortable right nowâ he answered back. You giggled, âyou just want me to come back huh.â Suna didnât even bother to deny, only simply nodding and humming a faint âmhmâ before relaxing his body.Â
A wave of comfortable silence came once again as you two embraced each other's warmth. Your ear was pressed against his chest and the steady rhythm of his heartbeat lulling you into sleep. Slowly but surely you found yourself getting drowsy from your comfortable position and you no longer had any energy left in you to stop your eyes from closing.
Suna wasnât surprised to hear the faint sounds of your gentle snoring not too long after. For a moment he sat up, careful not to wake you, and he took a moment to just admire you. How soft, gentle, and unbothered you looked in his arms. He removed one of his hands from your waist and gently rubbed your arm, he stiffened for a moment as watched as you shuffled slightly before relaxing against him once again. His body loosened up and a small smile spread on his lips, âHow could someone be so damn prettyâ he thought.Â
He admired you for a moment longer. His head replaying the memories you two made in the past 5 months while silently looking forward to what you two had in store together in the future.Â
He petted your head gently as he wondered starting about what he should do for your 6 months. Youâve been talking about ice skating after seeing it in a movie so he considered that as an option. The idea of seeing you excitedly skating under the twinkling lights of the ice rink made Suna excited. He knew he couldnât skate, but he didnât really care. Just sharing the moment with you was enough for him.Â
Slowly, his own exhaustion from the day soon caught up to him and soon enough he was getting tired as well. He shuffled back down and rested his head on the cushions. He lifted his hands off your waist to adjust the blanket over you two, make sure you were all snuggled up and warm.Â
Just before he surrendered himself to sleep, he pressed a soft kiss on the top of your head and another one on your forehead. Whispering a faint âlove youâ before closing his eyes, failing to notice the small smile that grew on your lips.
However, he didnât fail to feel the heart that your finger softly drew on his chest.Â

Bonus SceneÂ
âNii-san can I borrow a pencil?â
Suna looked up from his phone and narrowed his eyes at his sister who was standing by his doorway. Suna looked at her blankly, for a moment he grew suspicious of why she suddenly wanted a pencil but he was honestly far too tired to even try and figure out what she really wanted. âItâs on my desk,â he said plainly as he nodded his head over to his desk on the other side of his room.Â
Rizu nodded and made her way over to his desk that was placed in front of his window. Rizu came in front of his desk and scanned the surface for what she needed. He had an open notebook with unfinished work displayed in the middle while his pen holders lined up the top of his desk.Â
Rizu saw a pencil sitting inside his pen holder and reached out her hands to take a hold of it. Just as she was about to turn around and leave his room so she could finish up her work, she noticed something taped on the side of his wall that was being covered up by the curtain blowing in front of it.Â
While she knew it was wrong to snoop around other people's things, she was empty of blackmail against him and that reason alone was enough for her to justify her actions. She turned around to look back at her brother and saw that he was fairly distracted and took that moment as an opportunity to push the curtain aside.Â
However, instead of finding incriminating blackmail, all she saw was a picture of you and him taped from what looked like to be the inside of the photobooths at the movie theatres. The first picture was of you two smiling (well more you than him), the second was you kissing cheek, the 3rd one he had pulled you to sit on top of his lap and he was now the one kissing your cheek, and the last photo was the two of you smiling genuinely to each other, paying no attention to the camera as you both got too caught up in the moment.Â
âI hate how they're so cute,â she admitted in her head.
Rizuâs eyes then drifted from the wall that had a bunch of other taped printed photos of you and him to his window sill where a bunch of little trinkets were displayed along with a singular photo frame.Â
Her eyes looked over the little trinkets. He had some action figures and random knick-knacks. Nothing interesting in her opinion. âTypical boy stuff, nothing I can use against him,â she thought. Looking past the small transformers' action figure, she kept looking at his window sill until she stopped and stared at a paper box full of little things inside. She squinted her eyes, her eyes having a hard time seeing what it was with how dark it was in his room. She leaned closer and upon further inspection, it finally dawned on her what was inside the box.
It was a bunch of little origami strawberries.Â
A bunch of little origami strawberries piled on top of each other, some had wrinkled leaves while others had bent corners. Rizu then looked back at his desk and saw a small stack of red and green papers neatly set on the corner of his desk.Â
âweird,â she thought.Â
Her eyes shifted from the paper box to the small white square frame where there was a photo of you inside sitting at the edge of the window sill.Â
Surrounding you were rows and rows of sunflowers that were facing towards the sun. You were clad in a pretty dress with small floral patterns along with a small sun hat on your head that was tipped back so the sun was hitting your face. Your hair was blown back behind your shoulder, your left hand was holding a bunch of sunflowers while your right hand was resting on top of your hat, holding it down so it wouldnât be blown away by the wind. Your eyes were closed and you had the warmest smile on your lips as you were basking into the afternoon sunshine. The sunlight was kissing your skin so perfectly that she swore you were glowing. You looked so peaceful, relaxed, and content. It was clear that you werenât trying to pose for the camera, this photo captured you and all your natural beauty.Â
You looked ethereal.Â
She looked back at her brother and back at the basket of origami strawberries and the photo frame and concluded one other thing.
âwhat a fucking simpâ
a/n:Â yes itâs may but this story takes place in december oops
UGH WORDS CANT DESCRIBE HOW SUNA AND Y/N MAKE ME SO HAPPY. DEADASS THIS EXTRA WARMED MY HEART AND SO I HOPE IT WARMED YOUR HEART TOO.Â
I promised a while back that I was going to make an extra that featured sunaâs little sister. Personally, I feel like Sunaâs sister with be the complete opposite of him. Hence why I wrote her to be very dramatic and enthusiastic. Heâs probably able to put up with the miya twins bullshit because his sister already made him go through so much LMAO
Iâm uncertain if this is going to be my last extra for club stupid. I have one last long fic idea in mind but truthfully Iâm not sure when Iâll get to writing it </3
Regardless, thank you guys so much for the love and appreciation for this series. It really means a lot to me and Iâm glad to see people continue to enjoy it :)
a/n 2: ayo where do i find myself a suna? genuinely asking and in need of help.Â

Yellow- Pin Hawthorne
OKAY, YES-- Iâve wanted to write for Pin Hawthorne since having finished the show, and Iâve decided to do it, because I simply canât resist and Pin is my favorite moody horseboi, plus, this blurb (imagine? I donât know how long itâs gonna go yet!) is entirely inspired by the songs Yellow and Sparks by Coldplay, because the show is modern and the songs were released W A Y before the years that show is set in, so yay!Â
Pins aged up in this, as well. In the show heâs around 16-17? In this, he and the reader are both 20!
I might have Pins characterization a little off because Iâve only watched the show once (Iâm gonna rewatch it before I do a shadow and bone rewatch,, moody pin is just a bit too endearing) but other than that, lets do it!
The reader is American for this, and I did mostly keep it gender neutral, aside from an outfit description! Even then, though, I did try to keep it androgynous
Fic type- fluff
Warnings-none
It took a ton of convincing on Pins part to get his dad to let him use the castle for something that, to anyone else, mightâve seemed small. Heâd known it mightâve, and started the process a good month before the event was even to happen. A decision that heâd made that wound up working in his favor.Â
âYou really love them, donât you?â His father asked, pressing the keys into his palm as Pin gave a nod. âEven with all the stupid nicknames?â Pin grimaced, but nodded again.Â
âEven the stupid nicknames, Dad,â he assured. âAll of them.â His father broke out into a smile, pulling Pin in for a hug as he tucked the key away into his jacket pocket.
âWell then, happy anniversary,â his father mumbled. âFive years? Gotta admit, I had faith, but I didnât think youâd make it this far. Not with someone like them.â
âI know,â Pin retorted. âIâm pretty lucky.â Pin knew that âpretty luckyâ might as well have been understatement of the year, but went along with it anyway, pulling away from his father and slowly approaching Elvis, patting his side a few times before climbing onto the saddle and riding down to the castle that he, as the duke, could technically call home.Â
The castle was big and at times, tough to get around, but he made his way just fine, letting Elvis move at a slow gallop rather than a run, figuring that he had the time, considering youâd agreed to meet at 8 and it was barely 7:15.
When he arrived, he put Elvis away safely, and made his way through the entrance and up to the outdoor balcony, which had a view outlooking the expansive land on which the castle was built, and the trees that went around the outerrim of the space.
He grabbed his bag off the chair on which heâd had his butler leave it the day previous, almost grinning to himself as he sat at the glass table, rummaging through the bag for everything that heâd put in it.
A bottle of wine, because why not, several sweets, a ton of the polaroids youâd taken in the seven years youâd known each other, some fairy lights that heâd hang up so that you werenât totally and completely in the dark, and a bluetooth speaker that Becky had gotten him that Christmas; one that heâd still not bothered to use, despite the fact that it was almost June.Â
âCan I get you anything sir?â Arthur poked his head through the balcony door way, and Pin found himself startled.Â
âUh, yes please. Wine glasses,â Arthur gave a single, solitary nod.
âThe dinner that you requested will be here by the time you requested for it,â he responded. âThough, are you really sure fast food is what you want? It doesnât seem right to celebrate an anniversary with fast food.â Pin forced his gaze to his lap so that Arthur wouldnât glimpse his smile.Â
Youâd come from America, just like Zoe had, but youâd moved with your family to the island when you were eleven. Youâd met Pin when you were thirteen.Â
One summer, Pins father was insistent that he get away from the stables, spend some time somewhere heâd not gone before, travel a little, and your family had agreed to let him spend the eight weeks of summer with you in the united states.Â
Youâd had your first date in a McDonalds that same summer, when you and Pin were fifteen. Heâd felt weirded out, at first. The fact that heâd never eaten from a McDonalds, despite there having been a couple on the island, almost made him confused. Youâd gotten chicken nuggets to split and a couple of the pastries to count as a desert of sorts, and thus sparked the relationship.
âNo reason,â Pin murmured. âItâs quick. Itâs easy, and the last meal that they ate was lunch.â Arthur gave another nod, and Pin began fiddling with the speaker as he heard Arthurs footsteps grow farther and farther away.Â
It was a speaker that was almost the size of his hand and designed to look like a vintage radio. Forest green was the color, and the dial on the right side would control volume. The three buttons below the dial were the power button, the on/off button, and the skip button. Pin turned it on, checking the sound quality by playing two MCR songs, silently bopping his head as Arthur returned, the supplies that Pin had asked Arthur to gather in a bag perched neatly on his arm.
Arthur placed the bag on the table wordlessly, leaving Pin to do his thing as he stopped using the speaker, deciding that the sounds of nature; the river, the rustling of trees and the beautiful view of the sky as the sun grew closer and closer to setting was much better company than Gerard Way scream-singing his lungs out.Â
Heâd spent the remainder of the time he had working on your gift. At the end of it, he felt proud of himself, even despite how dumb heâd thought the idea was at first.
It was all of his favorite photos of you--polaroids heâd taken via polaroid camera and polaroids that became polaroids when heâd used a polaroid printer alike-- neatly put into a big picture frame, plus a couple of his sweaters that you liked to steal, some of your favorite sweets, and a journal he knew youâd been eyeing at one of the shops.Â
Arthur put the McDonalds onto the table in the last ten minutes before eight, putting the wine glasses beside the bag. âIâll send them here when theyâve arrived,â he murmured, shooting Pin a smile as he turned and walked away.Â
Sure enough, ten minutes later, Pin had the dinner mostly set up, the chicken nuggets at the center of the table, fries on either side, wine glasses filled the appropriate amount.Â
âYouâre lucky I love you, Hawthorne,â Pin was almost breathless as he glanced over to you, putting the bag that heâd put your gift in on the ground to his right. âIf you were anyone else, Iâd not have waited so long to eat dinner.â Youâd worn a simple pair of black jeans, with a black turtleneck and a dark gray blazer overtop. You styled your hair like you always did, and your smile was bright, eyes warm as you looked at him.
âMcDonalds and wine,â you sat, putting the gift youâd gotten Pin on the ground to your left, reaching across the table and taking his hand in yours. âThe perfect way to a persons heart.â
âDo you like it?â He asked, gesturing to the fairy lights Arthur mustâve put up while he was busy in the world of gift making. They werenât lit yet, as the sun had barely begun to dip over the horizon, but heâd light them once it grew darker. You nodded.
âItâs absolutely lovely,â you responded. âI didnât think youâd put this much effort in, to be totally honest.â You were poking at him, pricking gently at his work ethic in the hopes of getting a kiss across the table.Â
âIâd have been fine just cuddling the day away,â you admitted. âAnd I know you wouldâve, but thank you. For everything.â He smiled, feeling grateful for Zoeâs suggestion that he use the castles balcony to his advantage when heâd brought his plans up to her and Marcus.Â
âYouâre welcome,â he responded.Â
After that, you lapsed into a comfortable silence, making occasional conversation as you ate and drank. You let Pin ramble about the sick horses at Bright Fields and made a mental note to visit the hospital part of the stables, see how they were doing and make sure they knew that they were loved. As you cleaned up, putting your garbage back into the McDonalds bag, you gave Pin updates on some of the horses around the stables and the wild horses that you and Jade had been tracking.Â
âThereâs a foal, too!â Pin loved seeing you get so excited, and that was no exception. âI know that we shouldnât name the wild horses, but I couldnât help myself, so I named the horse November.â
âWhy November?â
âThe foals coat is white. Snow is white, and snow happens in November. It just seemed fitting!â You grabbed the bag, going inside only briefly to put it into the nearest trash bin before walking back out and sitting back down.Â
Pin grabbed the bag with your gift in it at the same time you grabbed the bag with his. He slid yours to you with a bright smile, and you slid his to him with the same.
You opened yours first. âYour hoodies!â You yelled out, smile turning into a full on beam, âPin, you know that weâre moving in together in the fall, right? Youâre just gonna get these back!â Pin shrugged.
âYou get them until the fall, Iâll wash them, wear them a couple of times, and then theyâre yours again. I get to see you in my clothes and you get to be warm and comfortable constantly! I call it a win-win situation!âÂ
âCanât disagree with that!â You put the sweaters back in the bag, grabbing the photo frame next.Â
You sighed, feeling your legs turn to jello as your heart melted. You looked up at him, feeling tears well up in your eyes as you did. âFive years of polaroids,â you whispered. âAnd youâre giving them back to me?â Pin just shrugged, feeling tempted to round the table, crouch next to you and kiss you senseless, but he resisted.Â
âI took photos of them,â he responded, pulling his phone out of his pants pocket and waving it around. âI can always get more copies from the polaroid printer.â You laughed lightly.
âThank you, Pin, so much.â Youâd never stop saying it. You had so much to thank him for. Every smile, every laugh, every dinner date, every ride out into the countryside and every kiss.Â
âYou donât need to thank me, love,â he responded. âTheres one more thing in there for you.â He gestured to the bag as you put the photo frame back into it, pulling out the journal youâd been eying a moment later.Â
âNo fucking way!â You cursed, turning it over in your hands. Pin leaned back into his chair, shrugging while he nodded.Â
It was a simple journal: a brown leather bound thing that was the same color as Elvisâs fur, but it had pages that were suitable for practically anything.
âI know youâve wanted it for a while, and, well, I figured you could use it for just about anything. Sketches, diary entries, even putting bank statements in the thing would make a good use for it,â You slightly stood, planting a kiss to his nose across the table.Â
You put the journal back into the bag and gestured to the bag heâd put in his lap. âItâs your turn, duke.â
âDonât call me that,â he whispered. He narrowed his eyes at you, but the smirk that followed after told you heâd not been serious.Â
The first thing heâd pulled out was a scrapbook of the years that youâd spent together. From photos like the victory one that Ted had taken after youâd completed riding lessons, Pin doing a thumbs up on the right side of your horse while you sat on it still, throwing a peace sign and smiling, to random photos youâd taken together.Â
Blurry ones thatâd been taken with the timer feature. You flipping off the camera while Pin flopped back onto his bed. One from when you were both sixteen, in the middle of turning around, his arms snaked around your waist and yours resting on his shoulders as you kissed, the screen blurred but not so blurred that you couldnât tell what was happening.Â
A couple that Zoe, Jade, Becky and Marcus had taken. You, exhausted, with your head in Pins lap as he fiddled with a camera, curled up and almost hidden from sight in the haybales. You and Pin at the pony prom, slow dancing, looking at each other with nothing but love in your eyes. A shot taken as you and Pin left the stables, backs to the camera, hands interlocked. A photo of you and Pin in the haybales again, you with your head on his chest, his arm around your shoulders, hay in your hair. A laptop sat discarded beside Pins sleeping body, playing old episodes of Criminal Minds. Both of you had sleepy smiles on your faces.Â
Pin laughed as he saw more than one picture of you two asleep in the haybales, some taken by Jade, most taken by Zoe, though there were a few shots thatâd been taken by his father.Â
âI love this,â he glanced up at you, then to the speaker that sat on the edge of the table. âI love you, Y/N.â
âI love you too, horse-boy!â He snorted, putting the scrapbook on the table and grabbing the next thing in the bag.
It was a sweater; one that heâd not seen since before his eighteenth birthday. âThief,â he murmured, folding the sweater and putting it atop the scrapbook.Â
âYouâre my favorite person,â was your lovestruck retort. He blushed as he grabbed the last thing in the bag.
It was a camera; a polaroid to replace the one thatâd been broken in the months before, and it was vintage.Â
âYou didnât,â he looks up at you, face showing disbelief as clearly as his voice did. In response, you just shrugged.
âWeâve taken a lot of photos, and you loved the polaroid camera. I used a connection or two that I have and I grabbed it for you.â
âHow much was it?â He asked. âWe had a limit! No more than fifty pounds!âÂ
âIt was forty nine pounds, and the taming of a wild horse found just outside the coast of Maine. She comes in a couple of days, by the way.â Pin put the things back in the bag and stood, grabbing the speaker and turning it on, connecting his phone to it a minute later.
âYou love chaos,â he teased. âBut I love you, so I love it by association.â He held his hand out to you, and you took it, giggling as he pulled you in close, bringing you into a passionate kiss that lingered on your lips even after itâd ended.Â
He paused only to have Yellow by Coldplay stream through the speaker, putting his phone on the table next to it.
âMay I have this dance?â He asked, emphasizing more on his accent in a silly way to get you to laugh. It worked, to his delight, as you nodded, cheeks flushing bright red.
âYou may have every dance, if you so wish it,â he felt his cheeks heat up as he pulled you closer, pressing a kiss to your forehead and gently swaying with you as your arms moved to rest at his shoulders and his moved to your waist, wrapping around it, his hands meeting and folding at the small of your back. â
Heâd found a way to loop the song so that it played a couple of times back to back, but you didnât mind. You had Pin. You had Pin and his sarcasm, his smiles, his voice, still drenched with sleep in the mornings and his peaceful face while he slept. You had tea in the mornings, quiet afternoons spent riding or in helping horses, and evenings laughing with your friends, Pin at your side.Â
Youâd known Pin for seven years, and youâd been dating him for five. He was like the lgiht at the end of a very long, very dark tunnel, and he embraced you tightly as you finally escaped it.Â
âWhat makes you happy?â he asked you absentmindedly, just to get to hear the melodic sound of your voice again. You laughed, meeting his gaze with a smile.Â
âYou, Pin,â you responded. âYou make me happy.â He stared at you for a long moment, wishing that he had what heâd kept in his sock drawer since Christmas.Â
âWhat makes you happy?â You repeated.
âYou, Y/N. Always you,â you leaned up, pressing your lips to his without so much as thinking twice.
The kiss was messy, and you stumbled backward a little, but you giggled as you did. When you pulled away, you were delighted to find that Pins cheeks were burning as bright as yours, the same red that coated some parts the sky as the sun dipped down the horizon.Â
âYouâre the love of my life,â Pin was almost in awe at how easily you said it, like youâd been reading off a grocery list or ingredients for a recipe. Pin had wanted to say it since heâd bought the thing that sat in that pathetic little sock drawer, but heâd still not figured out how to say it and make it worthwhile.
âDo you want forever?â The closest heâd get, but he was fine with that, and relieved as youâd nodded. âI promise you forever then, Y/N.â

masterlist
Friday, July 22rd, 1977
The concert hall smelled like cocaine and sweat, you noted to yourself as the three of you joined hands to bow. Cheers from the crowd bounced off of the walls as you bid them your final goodbye, wishing them a good night and telling them to drive safe. Still, their chanting persisted. "Seoul Motel! Seoul Motel! Seoul Motel!"Â
You wondered vaguely if this was what it was like to be a young god.
The curtain lowered, and the three of you were ushered offstage, to take some pictures and then head back to the hotel, to try and get some rest before you were off to Philadelphia, some five or so hours from where you were now: Boston.Â
Truthfully, everything passed in a blur. It was almost always like this after these concerts. The thrill and euphoria of performing made it difficult to focus on things. That might have also been because Jungwoo had passed you a joint before the concert. You couldn't be completely sure.
Your tambourine and guitar seemingly disappeared, but you knew it would show up tomorrow for soundcheck when you got to the Philadelphia venue, right along with Jungwoo's bass guitar and Doyoung's drum kit.
What you did know was that here, in the car back to the hotel that your manager was driving, lecturing you and Jungwoo about the importance of being sober when talking to reporters, Doyoung had a hand on your thigh, and that was all you could focus on.Â
Doyoung was high too. You knew this because ten minutes before you were needed on stage he pulled you forward by the hips and told you to take a few hits from the hand rolled joint and blow the smoke into his mouth. Of course, he wasn't as high as you and Jungwoo were, and he knew how to hide it better. But if you were to get close enough you'd notice the redness rimming his eyes, the dilation of his pupils.
The three of you were something, that was for sure. You had been, probably ever since Jungwoo joined the band, some eight years ago, in the fall of '69. You only really defined what you were once you got your first big hit thanks to some disc jockey in LA playing a song you had written, Calabasas, on the radio back in '73.Â
The song had blown up, and suddenly the three of you were whisked into a whirlwind of celebrities, drugs, paparazzi and producers who thought the three of you were born yesterday. Yes, you were college kids that ran on booze and weed, but you werenât complete morons. That was when the three of you sat down to properly discuss boundaries, what slid and what didnât.
You and your boys decided that night that werenât down with the idea of everyone knowing. Too many prying eyes. The public didnât really know, because the press would have a damn field day.Â
Other than that, it was a pretty open secret. In the industry, who was going around with who didnât really matterâa lot of them were too off their face to even care. You realized that a few years back when David Bowie walked in on you watching Jungwoo and Doyoung get it on in a bathroom at some afterparty in New York City, and closed the door muttering something about how strong the edibles were.
So, what your manager said fell on deaf ears. Too much weed, too much adrenaline, too much energy for someone who needed to head back onto the road in a few hours.
When you finally got back to the hotel, Jungwoo grabbed your hand in the elevator on the way up to your rooms, which were right next to each other. "You said that your bed was really big⊠can we come up?"
You nodded, leaning against his arm. Doyoung hummed affectionately at the sight, noting how tired you both were.Â
"You two are about five seconds from passing out," Doyoung mumbled, and you waved your hand in denial.Â
"Are not," you protested like a child.
"Y/N, don't be a chump. I'm pretty sure if Woo weren't next to you, you'd have fallen over."
You didn't have the energy to counter, and as the elevator slid open, you were the first one to march out, ready to just take a cold shower and die for the next few hours.Â
Realistically, you knew that wasn't what would happen. What would happen was that you would shower, get into bed and then toss and turn for another hour or so. Only then would the adrenaline truly wear off. The weed didn't help, making you feel sleepy.Â
You unlocked the door, and Doyoung and Jungwoo gawked at the sightâand sizeâof your bed. It could probably fit all three of you easily.Â
Since only one room would spark rumors, the manager usually booked two: one for Doyoung and Jungwoo and one for you. Your room always went unused. Usually, you would have to push Doyoung's and Jungwoo's beds together to make enough room, leaving an awkward and uncomfortable dip for the person in the middle. Whoever got the middle was handed the terrible double edged sword: cuddles galore, but a sore back in the morning.Â
Immediately Jungwoo jumped onto the bed, gasping and immediately laughed gleefully as the bed sloshed underneath him.Â
"A water bed!?" He exclaimed, splaying out his limbs. "Oh, far out. You really lucked out, dollface."Â
He kicked off his shoes and curled up in the middle, eyes fluttering shut. You followed, sitting at the side as you peeled off your white leather go-go boots. Throwing yourself down next to him, you sighed at the sensation of waves beneath you, and nodded. "Oh, this is ace," You murmured, "Feels great."
Peeling one eye open as Jungwoo wrapped his arm around you, your gaze landed on Doyoung, who was still leaning against the wall. You beckoned him over with a hand. "C'mere, princey."Â
He made sure that the air conditioner was working before sitting down on the other side of Jungwoo, for which you were grateful. The still drying sweat on the back of your neck and on your chest started to cool instantly. You and Jungwoo giggled as Doyoungâs weight sent waves rippling beneath you.
"So, are you guys gonna sleep or what?" Doyoung asked, kicking his shoes off as well and peeling off his denim jacket. His eyes were still wide open and he didn't look tired at all. "I'm probably staying up a little later, I have some ideas for some lyrics I want to get downâ"
"I would love to sleep. But I can't," Jungwoo declared before glancing knowingly at the both of you, "and neither can either of you."Â
You hummed in agreement. "Hmm, you're not wrong. Too much energy left."
You turned to bury your face into his chest. His forest green short-sleeved button up was only buttoned up halfway, easily revealing his collarbones. He smelled like pot, sweat, and designer cologne. His chest rumbled as he continued to speak.Â
"What about you, bunny boy? You can't tell me you don't still feel it."
"The weed or the concert jitters?" Doyoung's voice was raspy, cautious. He had a feeling he knew where this conversation was going. Once you and Jungwoo ganged up on him, it wouldn't take long to wear him down.
"Both," You and Jungwoo said in unison. You laughed at the sound. Doyoung chuckled as well, and you cracked your eyes open, despite how cozy you felt with Jungwoo stroking the skin of your nape.
"Well, the jitters are still there. That's why I'm staying up. As for the weed⊠well, yeah. I still feel it."
Jungwoo sighed. "How's the weed hitting you, though?"
"Honestly?" Doyoung's eyes met yours, and you felt something simmer in your chest. He huffed, deciding to take a bite of the apple, and leaned towards the both of you.Â
"The weed, plus watching you two perform⊠Safe to say I'm pretty fuckin' horny right now."
You bit your lip, giving him a sleepy grin. "Oh, Woo, we turned him on." The teasing tone wasn't missed despite the sleepiness in your tone.Â
"And what about it?" Doyoung asked, leaning back on his hands. "You can't say that watching Jungwoo do the thing doesn't get you going."
"I have a thing?"Â
"We all have a thing, Woo. Princey's over there is at the end of Mr. Jones' Motorcycle. You know, when he finishes the solo? He always throws his head back, because there's sweat and hair in his eyes. You can see his neck and shit..."
Jungwoo blinked. "Shit, that is his thing⊠What's mine?"
You raised an eyebrow at Doyoung. "His is the thing where he gets so into it that he throws his head back and plays, and still manages to get every bass note right, right?"Â
Doyoung nodded with a satisfied hum. "Gets you going, right?"
You brought a hand up to Jungwoo's chest, slowly sliding it down his stomach. Your voice lowered to a raspy murmur, and Jungwoo's hand tightened around your waist. "Damn right it does."Â
"And plus, you both have told me that watching me put together the drum kit is hot."
"'Cause it is!" Again you laughed as Jungwoo said the same thing you did.Â
"Jungwoo." Doyoung's voice sounded thicker. "You can't tell me that Y/N isn't an absolute vixen on stage."Â
"You're right," The younger man answered, voice gruff. His hand slid down, gripping your butt and giving it a light squeeze, before directing his words at you. "Oh! Y/N, your thing is whenâyou know how every time you play the transition from Calabasas to Saturnâs Rings you sway your hips and flip your hair back and forth? Sometimes youâll look at me or at Doyoung while you do, and you looked at me tonight. You're a little tease up there, dollface."
Your breath hitched at their words. âOh, yeah?â You goaded, cuddling further into Jungwooâs chest. You let a coy smile grace your face as your eyes fluttered shut. âWhat do you want me to do about it?â
âDonât be a brat,â Doyoung growled.
âNo, Doie,â Jungwoo hummed. He suddenly sounded a lot more awake. â...What would you have her do about it?â
Your eyes fluttered open, swallowing despite the sudden dryness in your throat. Doyoung's pupils were still blown wide, but you were pretty sure it wasn't because of the weed. He licked his lips. "Princess, get on your knees."Â
Jungwoo prompted you up, pulling you up to stand at the side of the bed. Doyoung circled around the bed, before standing next to Jungwoo. Your gaze fluttered between your two boyfriends, one looking stern, the other looking like he was having the time of his life.Â
Quietly, you lowered yourself to kneel on the plush carpet, fingers gripping the silver fabric of your dress' skirt to hike it up, so that you wouldn't kneel on it. Your hands itched to reach for them but you knew you needed to ask for permission. "Can I touch you?"Â
Doyoung smiled, reaching for his belt. "There's our good girl," He said. Your mouth was already watering embarrassingly as you helped him undo his belt, pulling him out of his boxers. He was already half hard, and as you lifted your hand to spit in it, someone grabbed you gently by the rest. Jungwoo leaned over, turning your hand to reveal your palm to him. His eyes seemed to burn into yours as he let his spit fall into the palm of your hand. You felt your legs close, thighs trying to rub together at the sight.Â
"Go on," Jungwoo murmured, using a hand on your jaw to move your head. Your eyes fell on Doyoung's cock again, slowly getting harder and harder. Your hand wrapped around it, stroking slowly as you met his smoldering gaze. You stroked him until he was rock hard in your grip, and his breathing turned heavy. Again, you swallowed, and Doyoung noticed this time.Â
âWhat is it, princess? You want it in your mouth?â
âYes, please,â You whispered, eyes wide. He chuckled breathily, head tipping back as you ran your thumb over the slit. His eyes met Jungwooâs, who was palming himself through his pants. Â
âWhat do you think, baby?â He asked him.
âDonât be mean, Doyoung,â Jungwoo said softly. âLook at her, sheâs desperate. Isnât that right, Y/N?â
You whined, nodding. The pair chuckled. Jungwoo grinned at the state you were already in. âGo ahead, dollface. Give it a kiss.â
Before Doyoung could say anything else, you took his dick into your mouth, and let out a soft moan at how heavy he felt, hot and pulsing. He let out a guttural groan of your name, a hand burying itself in your hair. His other hand gripped Jungwooâs shirt, pulling him forward to meet in a tongue-filled kiss.Â
Slowly, Doyoungâs hips started rocking back and forth, grinding into your mouth. Your hands stroked what you couldnât fit, as well as his balls. Your eyes fluttered shut, trying to relax so as to not gag on his length. But when he sped up, it became too much to avoid.Â
A tap on your shoulder, and Doyoung let you off of his cock. You turned your head to look up at a very flushed Jungwoo, who had pulled his dick out of his pants as well. The words, âMe too?â tumbled out of his swollen lips. And with that gentle, breathy tone, who were you to disobey?
You wrapped your lips around Jungwoo, who hissed at the sudden heat of your mouth. From there, something primal inside of you took control, wanting nothing more than to pleaseâyou took turns sucking them off and stroking them, the muffled sounds of their moaning spurring you on.
It was always like thisâduring sex, Doyoung was the meaner one, manhandling you and throwing degrading words in your face that made your stomach curl in sick pleasure. He was the one who could put you in your place when you became too bratty to handle. Jungwoo was gentler, but he was all too content to watch Doyoung toss you around. He would always swoop in after Doyoung took you apart, and piece you back together. Heâd tell you how good you were, how good you made the both of them feel, and while he definitely didnât treat you like fragile porcelain, he definitely didnât leave as many bruises as Doyoung did.Â
And then, when they were both done, theyâd shower you in kisses, and whisper in your ear how grateful they were to love you, and say some philosophical thing about eternal love and the cosmos that youâd always be too fucked out to comprehend, but that made your heart do a backflip regardless.Â
âShit,â Jungwoo groaned, pulling away from Doyoungâs lips. âY/N, Iâm gonna cum.âÂ
You pulled off of Doyoung to look up at Jungwoo. âIn myâin my mouth, please, Woo.â
He nodded, licking his lips as his hands fisted themselves in your hair, gripping but not pulling as he allowed you to touch him the way you wanted. His hands gathered the loose strands into a makeshift ponytail, using it to guide your mouth up and down his hot cock. His hips bucked into your willing mouth, the sound of his hissing and his moaning getting louder and louder, untilâŠÂ
"Fuck, fuck, fuck, Y/N⊠Y/N!" He groaned, as he came into your mouth. His head tipped back, which gave Doyoung access to his neck, pressing sloppy kisses to the skin. This sight was worth the bitter taste that coated your tongue: one of your lovers in ecstasy while the other anchored him to the ground.Â
He left his dick in your mouth for a moment, before pulling out with a shaky breath. Doyoung pulled away, letting him breathe. As Jungwoo caught his breath, Doyoung pulled you up, and he sat on the bed, bringing you down with him to straddle his lap.Â
You turned your head to face Jungwoo, who smiled at you, coming closer to the both of you. One of his hands patted the top of your head. "That was wicked," He said.Â
Doyoung smiled softly, and gripped your chin to get you to face him. His sweet grin didn't disappear as his grip forced your mouth open. He groaned at the sight of your tongue coated in Jungwoo's semen.Â
"Gorgeous," He mumbled, eyes trained on your lips as it began to spill out.Â
"Kiss her," Jungwoo told him, "You know you want to."
So he did, his tongue almost immediately slipping past your lips to get a taste of Jungwoo for himself, swallowing it down greedily. Your hands came up to unbutton his black dress shirt, and his hands pushed up the skirt of your dress to get you to rock your hips against his. You gasped against his mouth at the feeling of only your soaked panties separating him and you, before pushing the shirt off of him.Â
He moved to lie you down on the bed. As he pulled away from you, you caught his tongue slipping out to lick at a dribble of Jungwoo's cum on his lips. To make matters even worse, the bed was rolling beneath you, making your head spin.Â
Jungwoo pulled his shirt off before he sat down behind you. Meanwhile, Doyoung moved down your body, parting your legs. He prompted you to sit up, resting your back against his chest. He pressed a kiss to your earlobe as Doyoung peeled your underwear off of you, biting his lip at the sight of your drooling pussy.Â
"You're absolutely drenched, princess. And all from sucking our cocks, huh?"
You nodded, eyes fluttering shut as Jungwoo's lips began kissing along your jaw. When you didn't say anything, Jungwoo pinched your sides gently. "Use your words, doll," He whispered. From behind you, his eyes met Doyoung's. "You're gonna keep being our good little girl, right?"
"Y-yes, Jungwoo." Your hand lifted itself to press against his cheek, a silent plea for more kisses. He smiled against your skin.Â
"Atta girl," He praised, "On your best behavior for us tonight, huh?"Â
"The little slut's just being good because she wants to get fucked, Woo. Don't get it twisted."Â
"Please, Doie," You pleaded at the mention of being fucked, "Need it."
The older man chuckled lowly, pressing the pad of his thumb to your clit.Â
"Told you."
His tongue pressed itself against your hole, and you immediately cried out. You would have immediately started grinding against Doyoung's face if it weren't for Jungwoo's hands on your hips, holding you down and keeping it still.Â
"I don't think you wanna do that," He murmured. His hands travelled underneath your skirt, gripping the silvery blue gossamer as he tried to lift it up. You did your best to keep your squirming at a minimum as you tried to help him get you out of it. Finally, the bell sleeves were pulled off, and you were left naked as the day you were born.
Jungwooâs hands moved to your breasts, playing with them as he watched you whimper at the sensation of Doyoungâs mouth working at your folds. When he slipped his tongue inside, you keened, head falling against Jungwooâs shoulder.Â
âYouâre so pretty like this,â He whispered.Â
Your chest heaved, squirming up and down as he began to tug and pinch your nipples, calloused fingertips making you cry out.
Doyoungâs free hand gripped your thigh, and his fingers on the other hand slipped inside when he pulled his tongue out. Immediately, he plunged in two fingers, curling his fingers as he attempted to search for that one special spot.
"Ngh, Doie, faster, pleasepleaseplease." Your legs were trembling slightly now.Â
"So fucking slutty," Doyoung mumbled, chuckling wickedly, "And all I had to do was stick my fingers inside."Â
He complied with no protest, and the sensation of Doyoung stroking your walls and Jungwoo continuously pawing at your breasts caused a string of moans to come pouring out of your mouth. Jungwoo had been sucking a bruise into your clavicle, but leaned up to press his lips against yours.Â
"Don't want anyone hearing what's meant for Doie and I," He said, lips brushing yours.Â
The idea made you even needier, the double entendre making your head spin. Jungwoo didn't want anyone to hear you because if they did, rumors would spread. And on top of that? He didn't want anyone to hear. You were theirs. They were yours. This was a sacred ritual between bodies meant to be witnessed by only the three of you.
Your head felt like you were floating, even though your limbs felt like they were sinking into the watery mattress. A coil began to tighten in your stomach, and your soft whines, muffled by Jungwoo's plush lips, increased in pitch.Â
They both knew what this meant, because a second later, Doyoung removed his fingers from your core, and Jungwoo pulled away, his hands moving from your breasts to rest on Doyoung's atop your hips. You were left reeling and breathing heavily, that familiar sensation floating away.
When you looked down at Doyoung, you swallowed at the sight of his lips, chin and fingers, all glistening with your wetness.
He lifted himself up off the mattress, and proceeded to sandwich your chest in between his own chest and Jungwooâs back. He gripped his dick, rubbing it against your folds, which were now even more soaked than before.
"Tell me how much you want it, princess." He pressed his forehead against yours, hissing when the tip caught your clit. You let out a desperate whine, clinging to his broad shoulders.Â
"DoâDoyoung, please fuck me," You begged, reeling at the sensation. He was so close, all he had to do was slide in. But he refused.
"Not good enough," He insisted.
"Doyoung, don't be mean," Jungwoo said, but he seemed to be more amused by your desperation than anything.
"No, I wanna hear how much she needs us."
You closed your eyes and took a few deep breaths, trying to gather your words. Jungwoo's hands stroked your sides, trying to calm you down. "You doing alright, doll? You wanna take a breather?"
"We can always stop." Doyoung's voice had turned stable, secure, safe. He started pulling away, until you grabbed him by the forearm and shook your head. You opened your eyes, seeing concern in his eyes
âNo,â You mumbled, âJusâ want some water. Think thereâs some in the minibar. âM really hot.â
Doyoung nodded, getting up and striding over to the small refrigerator on the other side of the room. He pulled out a water bottle, and popped open the cap before passing it to you. Jungwoo had taken to fanning your face lightly with his hand. You took several long swigs of water, before setting it on the nightstand.
âIâm fine,â You promised. âCan we please keep going? I can take it.â
Doyoung pressed a kiss to your temple. âAre you absolutely sure?â
âYeah,â You said with a nod.Â
âDoyoung,â Jungwoo murmured, âBe careful.â
âI know, baby." He lowered his eyes to study your face. "I wonât go that hard on you, Y/N.â
You nodded, even though deep down you wanted to protest. You knew that this was probably the best route to take. You could already feel the highâfrom the weed and the concertâwearing off. You knew that if Doyoung were too rough youâd probably crash on the way down instead of float.
So, Jungwoo brushed some stray hair out of your sweaty face, and Doyoung grabbed your legs gently, wrapping them around his hips. Slowly, Doyoung eased in, and you sighed in satisfaction of finally being filled. He bit into your shoulder, taking deep heaving breaths as he let you get used to the sensation. Jungwoo took turns pressing kisses to the top of your head and the top of Doyoungâs head.Â
âI love you both so much,â He whispered, âIâm so grateful the universe brought us together.âÂ
Doyoung looked up at him, pressing a kiss to his lips. âMy baby,â He murmured against Jungwooâs lips. He then turned to you and did the same, âMy princess.â
You smiled at their words, but the need in your core was becoming unbearable. "Doie, Woo, I love you both so much," You murmured, "But Doyoung, if you don't move I'll pin you down and do it myself."
"And you were doing so well," Doyoung groaned with a laugh, before beginning to thrust his hips. It was a slow, torturous glide, and the way it caused the bed to rock left you dizzy in the best possible way. Doyoung was panting into your ear like some sort of beast, and you were whining softly with every cant of his hips.
"You must feel so good right now, huh, doll?"Â
"Jungâwoo," You moaned, clawing at his bicep.
"I know, dolly, I know." He sounded sympathetic enough, but the way he was grinding his dick against your ass suggested otherwise. "Bunny boy is just so good with those hips of his, hm?"
"H-he is!" You cried, "Feel so full, ah, Doyoung!"Â
Doyoung's eyes met yours, and his hips picked up their pace, until your eyes rolled up into your head. Your head thrashed side to side, leaning against Jungwoo's shoulder. His mouth lowered once again to kiss at your neck, and your hand wrapped itself against his nape, while the other gripped Doyoung's shoulders.
Jungwoo's hands slithered down to where you and Doyoung were connected, and started rubbing at your clit. You shrieked, chest arching. Doyoung hissed. "Shit, do that again," He bit out, "Fuck, princess you just got so tight."
"D-Doie, harder!"Â
Doyoung looked up at Jungwoo, the two having an unspoken conversation. A second later, Jungwoo gave a cautious nod. Doyoung smiled, before he adjusted his legs. ThenâŠ
Then. He began pounding into you at a breakneck pace. Your legs tightened around him, wanting him even deeper than before.Â
"You love this, don't you? Our pretty little slut." His voice was tighter now, panting with exertion. You nodded.Â
"Yes, yes! I'm your slut!"Â
Doyoung grinned, before locking lips with you. His tongue dipped into your mouth, before letting you do the same to him. You could tell he was starting to feel somethingâhe always kissed you or Jungwoo as a way of telling you he wouldn't last much longer.Â
Truthfully, you could feel it coming tooâyour body felt like it was on fire, and your hips couldn't stop squirming. Whether it was towards Jungwoo's calloused fingers on your clit, Doyoung's cock, or away from both, you couldn't tell. Your moans were getting shriller too.
You clenched down on his length again, and he grit his teeth, grunting as his pace turned sloppy.
"C-c'mon, princey," You pleaded, "Give it to me, give itâŠ"
"Shit, yesâŠ" His head lolled onto your shoulder. "Gonna stuff you so full, princess, you'll be drippingâ"
"Please! Oh, pleaseâ"
The two of you fell apart almost at the same time, your orgasm triggering Doyoung's a second later. Your mouth fell open, legs trembling and heart pounding as waves crashed over and under you.
When you came down, Doyoung rolled off of you, turning onto his side to watch you and Jungwoo. Jungwoo, who ceased the movements of his hands and slowly laid you down. Your head landed against the pillows, and you let your eyes shut as you caught your breath.Â
"Can I take care of you one last time, doll?" You heard Jungwoo say. Your eyes opened blearily, and you reached a hand out towards him, legs parting of their own accord.
Both of your lovers groaned at the sight of your pussy, Doyoung's cum brimming from your folds.Â
"Absolute perfection," Jungwoo murmured, crawling between your legs. He gripped his dick with one hand, the other swiping through your folds, and you immediately whined at the sensitivity there, teetering the fine line between pleasure and pain.
"Please," You whimpered, "Woo, I want it."
"You're insatiable." He sounded so affectionate, so in love. You watched as his eyes studied his index and middle fingers, covered in a mix of Doyoung's cum and yours, before dipping them into his mouth to lick them clean. You sighed, a dopey smile gracing your features. He lowered himself down to brush noses with you, dark eyes blown wide, wide awake despite the dark circles underneath.
"Guess I'll just have to do something about that."
He slid in as if he was coming home, immediately setting a solid pace that had you seeing stars, arms wrapping around his shoulders to lock hands at his nape. The sensitivity left you pliant in his arms, and Jungwoo didn't hesitate in cradling you in his arms.
"So good for us, Y/N. Always Doie and I's sweet girl."Â
You nodded, tears brimming at your eyes at the heaviness in your chest, the pulsing in your core. His hair was falling into his eyes, and you lifted your hands to his face, doing your best to brush it away. Your hands cupped his cheeks, heavy eyes burning into his. Your hips were rutting against his desperately now, wanting nothing more than to feel that high with him.
Jungwoo pressed a brief kiss to your neck, feeling something simmer in his gut embarrassingly fast.Â
Doyoung placed his head next to yours, gently lifting Jungwoo's head to kiss him, hand brushing the other man's ass. When he pulled away, he kissed you as well, and Jungwoo's mouth pressed itself to one of your nipples. You keened against Doyoung's mouth, hips losing all semblance of grace.
Here, you were needy, animalistic, running on instincts, and your boys were drinking it up like water from a desert oasis.Â
Doyoung pulled away, a thin trail of spit connecting his lips to yours. His hands cradled your head.
"Can you feel it yet, princess?"
Your eyebrows furrowed, silent moans falling from your lips. "Ah, yeah, Doie⊠s-so closeâŠ"
"Me too," Jungwoo groaned between your breasts, "So wet, Y/NâŠ"
"That's from all the cum she's filled with, right, princess?"
You nodded. "Mmângh! Stuffed me so good, Doie."Â
"Yeah? You gonna let Jungwoo fill you up even more? Gonna keep it all inside, right?"
Your stomach did a backflip, and you felt your toes curl. "Yes, yes, yes, yes, I want itâ"
"I'll give it to you, doll," Jungwoo growled, "It's allâfuckâall yours. S-same way this is all for us, right?"
Those words were what caused you to finally fall over the edge. Your high was so intense that you could have sworn that your ears poppedâclawing at Jungwooâs shoulders, your eyes squeezed shut. Only one side ended up scratched, since you always kept your right hand nails short to properly play guitar. You sobbed against Doyoungâs lips, and he eagerly swallowed up your cries, shushing you gently as you came back down.
You didn't feel Jungwoo come inside, but you felt it immediately afterwardsâthe satisfying stickiness, the warmth in your stomach.Â
You looked at Jungwoo, pressing a soft kiss to his sweaty forehead before prompting him to move off. He wrapped his arm around you, pulling you towards him as his little spoon, peppering kisses to your cheek and whispering how good you were. The two of you looked at Doyoung. You reached out, making grabby hands at him. His eyes were drooping, and he was blinking blearily as if he were trying to fight off sleep.
Still, he got up and pulled his pack of cigarettes out of his shirt pocket, as well as his lighter. As he sat back down on the bed, the waves sent you and Jungwoo further and further into the recesses of slumber. As consciousness left you, you caught Doyoung looking down at the two of you as if you were the most precious beings he'd ever encountered. His tone was low and grumbly, but there was a glint of smug satisfaction in his eye.
"I hope you two are happy. I can't remember those goddamn lyrics anymore."Â
