The fucking *moment* tumblr tasted a shred of relecance it completely ditched everything to immediately start rolling out steps to becoming EverySocialMedia nd I could not be more fucking disappointed. Number does not need to go up please fucking stop please just let one thing remain unmolested by ffucking engagement trends I am BEGGING YOU

For as long I've been using this hell app (or at least for many years), the way it worked is you tapped on a photo to look at it better and then you flicked up to dismiss it and get back to the dash. Same with video.

Now , apparently, if you tap onto a post it just like becomes an infinite scroll of photos/videos (it works like that with videos now, too) and every flick past the original post you tapped on is random shit you don't even follow.

To prove this isn't just scrolling through my dash (which I thought may be happening at first) it exited out and scrolled through my dash some.

I'm so tired of infinite flick scrolling like this. Especially if it's going to be posts of people I don't even follow and it's just the photo original caption and no reblog comments (which are like 50%+ of the fun/content)

Stop trying to make Tumblr into reddit/tiktok. I'm here because I don't want those experiences. Tumblr has a good system, stop trying to change it to chase trends.

Not to sound like a cranky old woman, but I like the way the dash is set up. I see who I choose to see through following them. I want my dash to operate the way it has for holy shit over a decade???
