hot(ish) take
i can’t speak for every queer person in existence but what i do know: every queer person i have talked to about the song “there right there” (gay or european) has not been offendened by it, in fact everyqueer i have talked to (once again not everyqueer in existence) finds the song extremely funny, and, while based on stereotypes, done in a clearly not homophobic and very funny way
i have heard of people having issues with the song, from my experience, those people tend to not be queer, i know it is stereotyping and whatever, but, its funny, people enjoy it, and the queers i have talked to don’t take offence
while homophobia is subjectively bad, this is a joke, if you are an ally, try not to police stuff like this, feel free to have opinions, every person will feel diferently, but, allies aren’t the ones who’s aproval we need, my opinion about stuff like this, while a lot of things are homophobic and shouldn’t be said or done, jokes are ok to make, i am not a fan radical leftist whatever, not everything is off limits, not everything is offencive or should be opposed
also there is a line in this song “this man is gay and european, and neither is disgrace” it is made clear that it has good intentions and from what i know people of the demographic it is “targetting” do not feel negative about it
not everything has to be offencive and off limits

hello :D i had some questions and someone directed me to this blog:
Im a genderfluid, afab minor who came out to my parents a few months ago and I need some help/advice
My parents have been super understanding and using my name and everything, I'm super proud
but my dysphoria has been hitting lately and I want to ask them for my first binder.
I need advice for good brands, arguments to prove this isn't going to give me cancer or something/j, and advice on use?
Hi! I'm also an afab minor! I'm happy your parents have been understanding.
I have yet to come out to my parents (and in turn get a binder) but I've seen that some good binder brands are gc2b, Underworks, For Them, and Flavent Streetwear. Because I don't yet use a binder, here's the main source I used when googling binder brands:
It even has tips on how to bind safety, and until you get a binder, how to safely binder without one.
Binders are safe, as long as you listen to your body. I know you aren't supposed to wear them for more than eight hours max, no sleeping and/or exercising in them, and if you find it hard to breath, or feel and pain/discomfort, take it off ASAP. There is also something I can only explain in this image:

I hope this helps, and I hope you get your binder!

Join us for our next (free) webinar. Registration link in bio. Selling Out: Anti-Oppressive Queer Style Marketing. Queer visibility in mainstream fashion is often presented on platforms that cause harm to the queer community, such as those that erase diverse identities or support anti-LGBTQ legislation. Mainstream fashion has been increasingly leveraging the digital networks of out LGBTQ fashion entrepreneurs to reach queer markets. Should queer style entrepreneurs lend their talents to mainstream platforms to change the industry from within? If so, how can they earn profit while delivering positive social justice messages to transform imperfect platforms and how can mainstream fashion develop anti-oppressive marketing to better support the community? Is it possible to sell OUT without “selling out?” Featuring speakers: Meg Ten Eyck, Editor of EveryQueer Magazine E Leifer, Chief Design Officer of Play Out Apparel Inc. Dev Seldon, Creative Director at We Are Fluide; Beauty Influencer Moderated by Anita Dolce Vita, Owner of dapperQ https://www.instagram.com/p/B_r55njAu3B/?igshid=v9g7xg4gpiby
