I remember when I read a lot of 'being called sir at the store' as a gender euphoric thing and while I did get that experience when being called 'he/him' etc we generally don't refer to each other as sir/madam here so that specific gender thing I never got
all that preample just to say. I was on the plane and got called sir by an east european man speaking english and. even tho I am 4 years on t and been passing for a long while now I was just like. woag. It was almost like being transported back to being called 'him' for the first time. crazy
