Okay so I just got an ide for a ROTTMNT/TMNT 2012 crossover fanfic but I'm shit at writing so uhm here's the idea if anyone wants to write it. If you do write it please credit me/tag me/message me lol. You don't have to ask for permission just like, make sure I know about it/can read it thamks

Anyway, the actual idea is as follows:

Okay okay so it's set post-movie (like a few months later ) and everyone's recovering and healing their trauma and all that right? So they're all doing pretty ok but Leo's doing like worse than the others ptsd/mentally-wise and is very wary about like the concept of time/dimension travel.

So, Raph, Mikey and Donnie, being the good brothers they are, don't being up the topic around him, but they talk about it when he's not around cuz Donnie's making a multi-dimensional gun because since he's proved time travel, he also wants to prove dimensional travel.

Anyway so he finishes the gun, right? And so he takes his brothers (minus Leo) to test it out somewhere secluded. And it works!! And alternate veraions of him, his brothers, April, Splinter and even Casey (all 2012 mind you) come through the portal!! And everyones confused and excited so they introduce themselves and clear everything up and all that. So then the 2012 gang turn around to go home but the portal closed and the gun's not working for whatever reason. Shit.

Raph offers they stay with them, and then Mikey reminds them of Leo and everyone (-2012) is like 'Oh shit what are we gonna do'

And so they decide on a plan. The 2012 gang are going to stay in their lair until they find a way to send them back and tell Rise! Splinter about it, but make sure Rise! Leo, under NO CIRCUMSTANCE, finds out.

And the whole fanfic is them trying to navigate life while keeping the 2012 gang a secret from Rise Leo

In the end (think like a month more or less later) Leo finds out and freaks out but like a week later Rise Donnie sends them back to their universe so yeah. The Rise gang did get the 2012 gang's phone numbers tho so possible chatfic about that too??? Idk

Gay Panic (ROTTMNT Bros X Reader)

my one braincell came up with this, we’re making POLY GAY FLIRTY READER EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also it’s my first crack at a non-hc fic in a WHILE, be nice pls ;v; ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You sighed, It was currently 10pm at night, you were wandering around the park due to boredom, April wanted you to come out there tonight as she wanted you to meet her Friends, you often refused because you found it unnaturally unfair how attractive her male friends who she LIKED being around were, but sadly, they were always straight or just someone you didn’t like them at all, this often was a sign to April that she probably shouldn’t be around them anymore, to her, you always had a good intuition on how people are, She’s learned this the hard way sadly.

But this time she was BEGGING you, she wanted you to meet them because they were so nice, you ended up giving in, not exactly having high expectations, until you met them

They were just like April said, super sweet and seemed to adore you and April, but there was something that made you nervous; They had on hoodies and refused to let you see their face, you thought it was fine, just weird.

After a while, the one who you Learned was Named Michelangelo, or Mikey started messing with his hoodie, which caused another one, Donnie, to start nitpicking at him until they got into a squabble, April leaned over to you and whispered “All four of them are Brothers, they argue a lot” you laughed and replied “I can see that”

Almost a few seconds later, Mikey had his hood pulled off of him, this caused everyone except you to freeze, you looked at him, he had green scales and a shell, you smiled warmly “You okay there Mikey, is something wrong?” you asked politely, it didn’t bother you that he was a Turtle mutant, you’ve heard about mutants before, hearing awful things about them but, these four seemed nothing but friendly, hell, you even found them attractive.

Everyone seemed to relax at your words, there wasn’t a big freak out from you, that’s good, at least.

They all took their hoodies off, seeing as you completely ignored the mutant part of them, April cheered and said “I knew you five would get along! I told you four he didn’t judge people based on their looks, besides, He’s already seen mayhem!” She started pumping her fist in the air grinning like a happy fool.

The turtles, though relaxed, seemed on edge and started talking amongst themselves, this didn’t bother you that much, you assumed being shown as a mutant without intending to would be similar to being outed as gay, but worse.

You scooted over to April, blushing. “Awww, you like them don’t you?” she teased, wiggling her eyebrows, which made your blush a lot worse.

You were silent, fiddling with your [F/C] hoodie, all the while looking down sadly

“I bet they’re straight, huh?” you mumbled, which seemed to make April’s grin drop

“Hey,,, No, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to tease you about that” she said softly “It’s fine” you said, looking up at her

“If it makes you feel any better, they aren’t straight, I’m pretty sure they’re gay but refuse to admit it to anyone” she smiled, you looked over to them, you thought they were cute as all hell, even if they were mutants, ‘which shouldn’t even matter to people’ you thought

“So, what should I do, then? ask ‘em out? Say a shitty pick up line?” you grinned at the last bit, April thought for a second “Depends on which one you wanna ask out” She said, taking a sip of her soda

“All of them.” you replied bluntly, making April spit her drink out, which, in turn, made the boys look over at you two, April waved them off “It’s fine, He just said a joke!” making you silently panic, all four of the boys went back to talking

“You serious about this?” She asked you, one eyebrow raised, you took a second to think before saying a soft “yeah”

“Alright well.... Mikey, Leo, and Raph adore pick up lines, Donnie despises them, Unless you got a good one, I wouldn’t try it” you thought for a second before responding “I got a good one” sending her a grin “Not that one!” she groaned, you’ve used it on one of her Straight friends before, but you did do her a favor because the dude was a massive homophobe, he reacted so badly to it, so she dropped him as a friend.

You pulled your notebook out of your backpack/messenger bag and ripped a few pages from it.

“Whatcha doing?” She inquired, “you’ll see” you said

Once you were done, you got up and walked over to the four brothers, making them look up at you nervously

You swallowed your fears, “Hey, I’m about to leave, But I had to speak to y’all first” you said softly, as if raising any higher would make them run off into the woods like deer.

The four acknowledged you

“Can I ask y’all a question?” Donnie looked at you for a second before nodding

“I love y’all.” you said bluntly, making the four give you a quizzical look

“But... That’s not a question..?” Leo said, you leaned in and replied

“And it never will be” 

before slamming the four pages onto the seats they were on

You bolted off as they stood there in stunned silence, April approaching them and saying “They finally worked up enough courage to ask, huh?” she was grinned and shoving her elbow into Donnie’s ribs playfully

“YOU KNEW?!”

The four brothers screamed, their faces bright red.

“Yup, They asked if y’all were gay and they wanted to ask y’all out SO bad, it was so cute how much they were fawning over you four” she giggled

Donnie, Mikey, Leo and Raph picked up a paper each with your phone number on it, blushing wildly.

For your version of the turtles: Have any designs for them? I wanna draw them!!! And also are any of them in the queer community?

Excellent question! I was originally going to give info about their appearance in the intro bio post, but I felt it would be better for its own post entirely because I have a lot to say.

But first I’ll start with your second question about the gang’s sexualities:

In my version of TMNT: Splinter and Raph are straight, Leo is gay (but deep in the closet), Mikey is pan, Donnie is straight/demisexual, and April and Casey are bi.

Now for your first question cause this is gonna be a long one!

I’m gonna start with April and Casey’s appearance then work my way to the Splinter then the Turtles.

Talking about April’s appearance first, she has light brown eyes and dark brown curly hair with bangs that she ties up into a single high bun using a yellow bandanna/headband similar to this (with a bonus of my first time drawing my version of April):

Her outfit, she wears a long bright yellow raincoat like jacket hoodie with a black tank top and slightly ripped blue jeans. She has on black and white converse sneakers with green socks and also a white fanny pack around her waist (she keeps pepper spray, her hair alley, phone and snacks for the turtles in there). She wears green hooped earrings, and a watch on her right wrist while on the other is a green and orange string friendship bracelet made and given to her by Mikey.

Note/Fun Fact: When first creating my April’s design, the first thing I thought of is that I wanted to combined 2012’s design of April with Rise’s. In April’s bio I mention that April is biracial, being half white and half black, so I basically imagine 2012 Aprils dad had a kid with Rise April’s mom, because my version of April’s parents look very similar to them

And then poof! FabTrash April was born!

For my version of Casey he has black eyes and very dark brown hair to the point that it often sometimes looks black, and his hair is medium length that he pulls back in a messy half updo like this:

For his outfit, he wears a gray hoodie with a dark blue denim jacket over it along with black jeans and beaten up sneakers. He also wears fingerless gloves and has a few small piercings on his left ear.

As mentioned in his bio, Casey has a Purple Dragons tattoo on his right arm. He hides it with his jacket/hoodie but when it’s off you still can’t see it because it’s wrapped in bandages. 

Now Splinter’s design, he is a husky rat so his fur is white and brown/gray, not the typical dark brown that he usually is in other versions.

He wears an outfit very similar to 2012 Splinter’s (because I actually really liked his outfit so I’m incorporating it into my version)and he carries around a cane that looks like 2012 Splinter Jade can that secretly has a katana hidden inside so he’s always ready to fight and protect his sons. Also similar to 2012 and other Splinter counterparts he also has a long thin white chin beard. 

Now talking about the turtles designs, to start all the turtles have hazel eyes, it’s a way of showing that the turtles are all genetically related to Splinter because he also has hazel eyes.

The Turtles body and head shape/style would mostly resemble the 2012 version because I honestly like how each turtle had their own distinct facial and body structure to the point that it wasn’t too over the top like in rise.

Also a reminder: Donnie is a soft shell turtle, Raph is a map turtle, Leo is Chinese pond turtle, and Mikey is a spotted turtle

I liked the idea of Rottmnt making them all different species, it made them stand out more.

Now starting with Leo’s design, I actually have drawn him once but I sadly never finished drawing the other turtles, but I think this old drawing I did of my version of Leo gives everyone a good idea of what him and his brothers all a look like.

They all wear the ninja pants with sashes on their waste with wrap on their feet/legs similar to Leo, only difference is their sashes are their designated color. Leo’s sash is blue, Raph’s is red, etc. Mikey is the only one who doesn’t have a sash but I’ll explain that when I get to him.

Leo is a Chinese pond turtle so he has a few faint yellow spot on his head and shoulders as seen above and his skin is a pear green color and his shell is a warm brown color. As I mentioned in his bio and seen above, Leo wears a baggy blue scarf as his mask, pulling up to cover the bottom half of his face during battle, he’s the only one who doesn’t wear the traditional mask.

Just like Leo, Donnie wears a belt holster over his shoulder, but only one, not two, to hold his tech bo-staff. He also wears goggles he has dangling around his neck and has a high tech battle shell covering his shell, cause he’s a soft shell turtle. His wrists are covered in wraps and also watches and other tech gear. He wears a purple mask that goes over his head. His skin is a pale pickle color, he looks the palest out of all his brothers because he spends most of his time in his lab not getting any sun, and his shell is a faint grayish brown color. 

Like I said, all the Turtles wear these black ninja pants with sashes, and for Raph on his pants there’s slight stains of spray pant on them. A little detail to show he’s artistic. Raph is a map turtle and they usually have sharp edges and spikey(ish) shells so small spikes on his shell and even his shoulders, his skin is a pine green with a more darker brown shell, and faded pale yellow stripes on his forehead that running down his back and shoulders. Raph wears a simple red mask and it’s the most torn up and his wraps on his hand go a little bit more far up his arm to him elbows because he likes fighting close and personal and enjoys hand to hand combat. As mentioned in his bio he has the Hamato clan symbol tattooed on his upper right arm and his shell is cracked, similar to 2012 Raph’s chipped shell except the crack is not only in the front on his plastron but also goes to the back of his shell as well.

Mikey barely wears his mask, letting it dangle around his neck, but he puts it on during serious moments. You know shits about to go down if Mikey puts on his mask. As I mentioned, Mikey also where is the black ninja pants but instead of an orange sash tied around his waist like his brothers instead it’s an orange hoodie tied around his waist. he also wears elbow pads because he likes skating and you know, safety first! He also wears a beanie and hand a pair of headphone dancing around his neck. On his wrist he has a lot of bracelets and jewelry, one of them being a yellow and green string friendship bracelet that April made for him. 

As for Mikey’s appearance he is a spotted turtle so he has faded whitish orange spots around his body and has basil green skin. His spots on mainly found his cheeks (looking like freckles) his shoulders, his knees, and also all over the back of his shell.
