#xuexiao#xiao xingchen#xue yang#the untamed#mdzs#cql#this latest chapter of Now That I See You is really a meta nightmare#I really really have the personal need to not make these characters OOC#every decision I take as to why either XXC or XY act the way they do#I'm prepared to back by canon material and my own interpretation of it#but for what I want to write canon does not hold evidence or even a slight likelihood for a valid interpretation#so now I'm stuck between giving up on my personal preference and goal#or trying to screw around with canon and write what I want#I also just fear it might appear to random and weird and stupid#and this is a serious fic after all...#ah the struggle
