The monster was heavily wounded as it stumbled its way through the Abyss, having just come off of a fight that turned out to be too much to handle. It won, thankfully, but not without some losses incurred. Well, they would become more scars, but there was a still a chance they could turn out to be mortal wounds. Black blood speckled with white like the night sky dripped from it at each step, leaving behind a trail for any other beasts to track down and make a meal out of it. Eventually, it became too much to keep walking up straight, and then after some leaning against a wall, the beast slumped to the ground, panting heavily. The sensory antennae atop its head twitched as it picked up the vibrations of distant footsteps, the sound making its way to its ears shortly after. Far too light sounding for any average Abyssal beast, but who knows? It was just going to die here, as far as it was concerned, may as well accept that fate.

That felt like a fine and nifty way to explain some of his Nameless past times. In truth, the racoon moniker was a team he hadn't really drove too much thought into, like many other miracles, they just came to be.

@evervita - The crunch of snow under Magnolia's boots was frantic as she fled from the rampaging Lawachurl. She hasn't meant to startle it, but she had and now it was pursuing her relentlessly. Every step seemed to be the wrong one as it was gaining ground, and Magnolia was already exhausted from traveling today. It came to a head when the monster's sudden movements made the woman snag her ankle. Tumbling into the snow, she reflexively holds up her hands as a meager defense against the Lawachurl. Hopefully her regeneration wouldn't be too painful... / unprompted ask

( 🧊 ) ONE MOMENT THE roar of the lawachurl was there and the next it wasn't. blood painted the snow crimson and dark purple and within moments the large beast found itself too collapsed against the snow : its lifeblood staining the white powder as it breathed its last. magnolia left alone in silence barring heavy breathing and the stilling sounds of grunts and gurgled whines.

Fear. That much, could be understood. What with his dark attire, ghostly pale skin, haunted eyes having the tendency to bore holes. That being without drawing attention to his fanged canine teeth, clawed nails. Monstrous, he had to look to most who laid eyes on him. One could say his current visage was deserved (he definitely thought so), another way of striking him with divine punishment. Looking as though he belonged to a entirely separate world to Teyvat. Starry pupils excelling at selling that notion. But then again, it wasn't like anyone else truly knew the significance of those eyes. Knew of the land that possessed that specific feature. It all was wiped out. Lost. Destroyed.

Honestly, he was taken aback. A rare feat to accomplish. Had he been of lighter mind, he would've maybe remarked on it in an oddly joking tone. Eyes briefly widening before they settled, expression one of strong concentration as he studied her... familiar gaze. Flames, a sea of flames. All of his people, friends, others mercilessly swallowed up. Him left alive by some cruel twist of fate.

He's not really a person with erogenous zones, but if someone got started on nibbling and/or biting at his neck, they'd be beneath him and on a bed soon enough.

Zhongli is much the same, given his top energy as well, but petting his horns and/or tail when they're out is a surefire way to start getting him aroused.

Out of all the opponents she has faced, from the snarling borisin to the quick moving wingweavers, the mara prove to be troublesome every time. Undying, rage filled, charging forward with no regard. One had to be clever to defeat them, especially in groups. It took extensive training to know just how to strike to keep them from coming back.

And it seemed the young lady behind her was unlucky enough to get caught in a nasty swarm of Their minions. Jingliu's fingers, itching for the thrill of her fight, wrap firmly around the frozen sword materializing in her hand.

"These soldiers have been overcome with mara, they'll strike at anything that comes within range," she says, voice slow as she moves to put herself in between the soldiers and the young lady. "Unless you are combat trained, if would be best that you stay back. If you see an opportunity to hide, take it," she instructs, drawing her sword upward. "This won't take long."

THANKFULLY, THEY DO NOT USUALLY PANIC whenever they receive any injuries of the sort. being a trailblazer means anticipating the worst & that includes the wounds that they receive. a GASH would be something that may trigger many into a panicked mess but they are well controlled, their arm merely feeling numb. being in a confrontation with a marastruck drives a large number of feelings into their gut, making them frown and hesitate at times. it is a bad habit that has built up over time but that is mostly what has them troubled. they appreciate MAGNOLIA'S care regardless, a small smile being spared to her direction.

The Kamera was set up to take the picture-all that was left to do was begin the timer and get in position for the photograph. The trio was ready...mostly. Rosalyne had been fidgeting behind the two Knights of Favonius for a while with her acceptance letter in hand, until Roland finally turned around to face her. "...Rosalyne, what's wrong? Aren't you ready to take the picture?" The redheaded Knight raised an eyebrow at the blonde, seeing her fidget in place as she tightly held on to the letter.

"...Oh! It's nothing, Roland, just...I'm still shocked that the Akademiya actually wanted me to join them. What if it ends up not being the right fit for me?" "Nonsense, Rose." The third figure and second Knight then approached her, settling a hand on her shoulder. "You're more than worthy of being a student. Besides, after how long you've been studying to go there, I don't think that anyone would doubt that you belong." Rostam lifted the student's cap off her head and kisses the hair beneath, making Rosalyne fluster briefly. In the meantime, Roland had gone to set up the Kamera timer. "You got this, Rosalyne, we promise! Once you graduate, me and the rest of the Knights are gonna hold a big party for you! Isn't that right, Sir?" The redhead looked eagerly up at Rostam, awaiting his approval. "...Of course. Everything for you, my love." Rosalyne was surprised for a moment, before she broke out into giggles, tears forming at the corners of her eyes. "You two...you're going to give me cavities with how sweet you are!" She squeals, peals of laughter still leaving her as eventually, the Kamera went off and took the picture.

No doubt this is where the IPC bounty, wanted alive, was. Whoever the IPC wanted this badly must have been someone high-profile or valuable to them. But instead of some big shot executive or something of that ilk, all Boothill would see is a woman trembling and holding her hands up at the sight of his revolver.

Any time there was a bounty straight from the IPC, he obviously had to take it before anybody else. Except, when it came to finding his mark, Boothill would let them go, telling them to find some remote corner of the cosmos to wait for the bounty to be called off. Because, more often than not, it was someone innocent of any real crimes against humanity, not like anyone from that shithole of a corporation. So, it makes him wonder just what they wanted from a terrified looking young lady. He'd expected something different when he kicked the door open and held up his weapon, but clearly, this seemed to be another case where he had to take care of the target in his own way. So Boothill returns his revolver to his holster, before crossing his arms and giving the woman a sidelong glance.

"...Alright, spill it. Just what does the IPC want from ya? All I'm seein' is some girlie frightened outta her mind-but y'know, if this is some front, I ain't gonna hesitate ta shoot."

@evervita - Magnolia had a reputation among the sentient beings of the Abyss: a kind healer who's been around for ages, one who would heal the wounds of those around her, out of the goodness of her heart. Even if they've harmed her, she would still smile and help. Her wandering is aimless, but she would help anyone in her path if they requested it. Truly an oddity in a world of hardship. It was one such time where she had finished moving for the day, setting up camp and observing the starry sky of the Abyss. ( For Skirk! ) / unprompted ask

( 🌒 ) IT WASN'T OFTEN that the abyssal swordsmaster found a creature of being with sound mind within its territory, let alone someone that was not at all the princess off the abyss . . usually they'd respond in force , however with the scent that caught their nose it was clear that there was no harm posed.

AN EXCEPTION HAD found her way into ( although not that difficult with the lack of actual proper lines ) their territory , leaving them watching from afar for a bit to figure a plan of attack in mind. magnolia however seemed to be doing nothing but idling which in itself was odd --- most creatures and beings of the abyss knew better to just stay still for very long yet the strange woman had found it a worthy spot to set up camp.

It was a dreadful understatement, when it came to Dainsleif's circumstances over the past five-hundred years. Body deservedly afflicted by a curse bestowed upon him by Celestia, left to wander the land with no true home to return to, in essentially constant pain? Hard didn't even begin to describe it. A wraith of the man he once was, descending from the honorable Captain to a monster serving a life sentence for his failures. His only purpose left being the hunt down the Abyss Order, and he was fully intent on holding steadfast to that purpose. A final service he could offer the world of Teyvat, could offer to Khaenri'ah.

He then sighed and faced her. "However... I suppose I should thank you for acknowledging that. So. Thank you."

How she'd wondered what it would be like, even after he had been given a human cage again. She accepted every last part of him the same way that Capitano had for her, and gods, could he have asked for a better lover?
