I really recommend this WEBTOON .The new version of this is on WEBTOON , which is the only version I have read.

I was asking if anyone knows were to read the old version above?since I can’t find it anywhere.

So I’m not really good at promoting but let me introduce you this comic called Everfallen! Available on the Webtoon platform since January 2019 and still ongoing, this story debuted long before between 2013 and 2014.

Everfallen is a kind of Dark Fantasy that takes place in a world which the concept of the cycle of Life and Death have become one, started by the doubtful acts of a scientist called the Master whose his thirst for knowledge and his desire to go beyond the limits of ethics have shattered his world into chaos.

The characters happens to be anthropomorphic characters which leaves a different aspect of what we are used to seeing or reading! Plus, the comic offers really well done backgrounds, expressions, lighting and effects.

Hi C <3333 mhm I just finished My Deepest Secret on Webtoon (all of these are on webtoon bc I'm always on the go 😭) - binged the hell out of that and spent like $15 to get fast pass 💀🤡

I enjoyed the plot twists although the ending was kind of 🤔 but maybe I'll reread before the pass expires and pick up all the hidden hints. I picked it up cuz the author has a new one out called The Guy Upstairs but it was a little too violent in the first 3 episodes so idk if I'll continue it cuz it's a bit triggering but like I pushed through w/ the other one so we shall see

Ah and I've heard a lot of good things about Trapped and now that it has an official translation I'm looking forward to delving into it!!

Ooh and Everything is Fine is super interesting it's like all pastel with a terribly ominous vibe and mindfucks at every corner 😭

And Soul Winder is SO GOOD. The music goes right along and gives sm character to the story that alr has amazing writing 👌🏼

I've also fast passed twice on Everfallen, it's kind of addicting for some reason

Idk if it's considered thriller but Your Throne is sooo good love to see strong minded women slay oh and I'd suggest Twisted, it's completed! Idk if it's on fast pass yet 🤞🏼

Finally I read Ghost Teller when it first came out and it terrified me for days but maybe you'll like it haha?

Part/One Shot: Part 1 of ?

They had already been at war for several years. It was far enough in for them to have gotten past the pride-in-your-country phase and onto the oh-shit-I'm-gonna-die phase. Even so, Terrin's men were strong. He had full faith in them, even when faced with the largest army yet.

There was still a long way to go in this war. Neither side had shown any signs of fading or giving up. Despite this, however, Terrin could see the obvious signs of stress on the people of his country. There was far less food to go around than there should have been, and medical attention was always much less forth-coming than they'd been promised. Just last week, he had lost ten men because their wounds - wounds that they should have recovered from, with proper care - had become infected. Even so, they kept marching towards Everfall, knowing that death likely awaited them.

Everfall was a beautiful country, Terrin had been told. And before the war, they had beautiful people. But now the only people he saw from Everfall were enemies, so he no longer considered their beauty. Instead, he considered their weaknesses and did his best to exploit them.

Terrin had heard of the great General Katrine Armane. Supposedly, she was the best Everfall had to offer. He would see, soon. Because in the morning, his men would reach the Harbrine Plains. And there, General Armane awaited with her army.

The fighting was gruesome. The Everfallen army was almost twice as large as their intel had lead them to believe, and therefore outnumbered Terrin's men. Even so, he fought without hesitation, each swing of his dual blades bringing him that much closer to victory.

Unfortunately, they were losing. After a full day of fighting, it became apparent to Terrin that they would not be able to win. He turned to Lieutenant Hanson, one of his top men, but the order was thrust from his lungs as he was suddenly flung to the ground.

He leapt up as fast as he could, striking out against the warrior in question. He was a rather large man, the pale blue of Everfall's flag woven into his dirty uniform.

Spitting the blood out of his mouth, Terrin faced this man, raising both his swords. The man rushed forward, screaming at the top of his lungs. Their blades met with a resounding clang, but the soldier was no match for Terrin. Edging one of his blades to the side, he struck the man between the ribs, his sword coming back crimson. The man groaned and fell.

"Hanson! Call for a retreat!" Terrin barked.

However, Hanson wasn't there anymore.

Terrin shouted to any of his soldiers, "Retreat!"

But there was nowhere to retreat to. They were completely surrounded. The battlefield suddenly grew silent as the fighting stopped, everyone frozen in place.

"Surrender, or die!" A female voice shouted from somewhere among the enemy soldiers.

Gritting his teeth together, Terrin threw down his swords. "Let down your weapons, men."

His men followed orders, and Terrin soon found a sword at his throat. His arms were yanked forcefully behind his body and he was pushed rather violently towards the outer edge of the group. There stood the female general he had heard about, in all of her glory.

She looked like a warrior princess. Her hair was the color of caramel, pulled back into intricate braids and bound behind her head. Gold and copper pieces were woven throughout her long hair, and there was kohl beneath her pale eyes. Her armor was polished silver, blue fabric falling over her shoulder and marking her as the Everfallen General.

Terrin was pushed rather forcefully to his knees in front of the general. He looked up at her, unable to keep himself from glaring.

"General Khalbring, I presume?" She asked. Her voice was smooth as silk.

He forced down his pride, understanding the situation at hand with a sharp clarity. "Let my men go."

She raised an eyebrow, "And let Wayren continue to utilize these fine men you've brought me? Nonsense."

She turned to one of her soldiers, "Gather up his men. We will march them back to the war camps and drop them off there." She turned back to Terrin, the smallest smile touching the edge of her mouth, "As for General Khalbring, find out anything he knows about the war. Where are the other Wayren armies, who commands them, how many soldiers do they have, whatever he will tell you. Then, bring him back to me."

Terrin felt his blood run cold. So it was to be torture, then? He squared his shoulders.

You and the general of the opposing army are fighting, but can't seem to hurt one another. When you thrust your sword through their chest, but instead it bounces off harmlessly, you both freeze and stare at one another in disbelief.

Reading Everfallen on webtoon because why not, and like the art is gorgeous but thats not my point. My point is that sentences like "foolish northman, full of dander", or "one kiss of a pale steel blade should be enough" and "not for hysterical screams of the mad have i left (city), but the lack thereof" and such sound so natural in it.

It doesnt sound too antiquated and it doesnt feel out of place despite the rather modern (not medieval, but not 21st century either) setting.

Anyway all that to say that this is further proof that if webtoon decided to adapt in webcomic a shakespeare play (i want richard iii so much, but they'd probably go with a more famous one lile hamlet or romeo and juliet) it would work perfectly. Because here, old and odd ways to speak dont feel out of place. Plus the art again. Gorgeous.

"This world is stagnant. It rots within a putrid puddle of florescent neon bile, without e’er seeking to resist this mediocre fate. People are euphoric at the prospect of choking to death on their precious material gratification… That is why I hate this world," said the Absolute Intelligence.

"… W-what…?" The youth took a few steps backward as each vicious word, spoken diplomatically, slowly sank in.

"Aye." The Intelligence followed, calmly, despite his gaunt wire-swathed form seeming incapable of such a feat of movement, "Arisen. You are all I have left. All I can depend on to see this world to the end."

"Stop calling me that!" The youth snapped, "I don’t know what you think I am, but my name is NOT Arisen. Also, I don’t want to end the world…"

"… You do not wish to see an end to this?" The AI seemed genuinely startled by the information, "Why? You of all people should hate this bureaucracy! Do you take leave of your senses?!"

A door opened, somewhere behind the youth, and a voice shouted, “Who are you?! How did you gain access to this place?!”

"Shit," hissed the youth. There was no denying the situation had gone from bad to worse; being cornered between a bizarre life form and a stiff in a white suit was, perhaps, the shittiest situation ever.
