@leylayilmazx Date: 4/8/23. Location: Some Turk's birthday party or whatever.
There was quite literally no place he wanted to be less.
Passing up an invite to a Rutherford party in Dubai to spend a night in some shitty bar in Haringey was about as close to rock bottom as it was possible to come; of that, Laurent was sure. But Leyla was there. And where she went, he followed without question. Even this he could put up with for her.
When he'd made note of Aviv Kasyanenko skulking in the corner, however...
"There are Russians here."

ayda--demir:
The second Ayda saw the smile that dropped from his face, her eyes drifted around the room until she spotted Laurent, and reality came crashing down around her. She had taken a moment to be inside a bubble where she felt a moment of happiness with someone she cared about, and it was the world playing a cruel joke, ripping it away from underneath her.
Happiness would never be in her cards.
The second he stood, she did the same. Panic seared through the Turk and the last thing she wanted was a fight. Did she have any idea on how she was going to handle this? Nope. She wasn’t foreign to what might come, but if there was some way to stop it, she had to try.
“Here, let me walk you out. Let’s me have a little more time with you.” Ayda smiles at him, though it didn’t reach her eyes fully, when all she felt was dread on the inside.
.
“You don’t need to do that.”
It wasn’t harsh, but it did sound every bit the warning he’d intended it to be. Hopefully she got the hint. As he grabbed the jacket he’d slung over the back of his chair, foolishly anticipating he might be there to stay and enjoy a fucking evening for once, he nudged his head in the direction of Laurent.
“You might want to consider banning him.”
It wasn’t lost at him that he wasn’t the only man getting to his feet. That this had the potential, and he wanted it to, go south quickly. Ayda had no context, nor did he owe her any. All he could do was hope she heeded his words, and didn’t have to witness what the poor woman the Frenchman was holding hostage would.
“I’ll call you.”

Request please🤗: Marshall x Reader, he's extra protective of her while she's pregnant
A/N : Hey ! I know you posted that Ask a while ago but I recently found it while sorting through them, and I wrote a little blurb. I hope you like it 💕.

CW : Pregnancy - Mention of past miscarriage - Marshall Mathers being protective
As a public figure, you were used to rumors. You had chosen this life and you were fully aware that it came with the territory. As a content creator, your job was literally based on your ability to get people’s attention, after all. After years of hard work, you had gathered a pretty huge following and you had quickly learned that the bigger you were, the more rumors would emerge. Collaborations, alleged feuds, made-up drama and, of course, dating rumors. Nothing seemed to be off the table for the media outlets and, even though it hadn’t been easy to navigate at first, you had grown accustomed to it. In fact, most of the time, you didn’t go out of your way to confirm nor deny anything. You just focused on doing what you loved, making good content and your fans were used to you being private on some parts of your life and you were often praised for your ability to be honest, sometimes vulnerable, without giving too much away. People seemed to like the fact that you weren’t ready to commodify your privacy and your relationships for engagement and clickbait.
So, when rumors started to emerge about you dating Eminem, no one was exactly surprised that both of you stayed silent. After all, you were both known to be notoriously private, focusing on your careers and preferring that the attention remained on your work you put out. That being said, none of you got out of your way to hide the relationship either, so anyone who was looking out for subtle clues could probably find them. You followed some of his friends and family members on Instagram, were sometimes spotted to events he would perform at… It was that kind of situation of something basically being public knowledge without ever being broadcasted.
After years spend together, you were in agreement that it was better that your relationship was kept separate from your professional, public personas. Both of you were known to have a strong work ethic and, though you didn’t have any expertise in music and he didn’t understand much about content creation, you respected each other’s career too much to let your relationship overshadow anything. You knew full-well that, no matter how good you were at your jobs, some of the attention would inevitably be focused on your personal lives. Detroit being a fairly small city, it wasn’t rare for you to attend the same events as him, but you always made sure to arrive separately and not engage in PDA. At most, you’d been spotted chatting on a couple of occasions over the years, but nothing in your demeanors indicated that there was any intimacy between the two of you. Until you got pregnant, at least.
As soon as you handed him the positive pregnancy test, Marshall instantly became more protective of you. You were both overjoyed by the news. Emotional, too. Almost a year prior, you had accidentally gotten pregnant. It wasn’t planned by any means, but you both agreed to keep the baby. Sadly, you ended up miscarrying a few weeks later, still in the early first trimester. Before then, you had always said you didn’t need to raise kids to feel fulfilled, and Marshall had been pretty adamant about not wanting more kids. But the event changed everything, stirring something deep within you, and it didn’t take long before you started actively trying. The miscarriage had been a tough pill to swallow, at first, but none of you really addressed it. After all, you knew it wasn’t a rare occurence, and that these things happened. But you didn’t realized how badly it had left its marks on Marshall until you got pregnant again.
He did not become overbearing of controlling - it just wasn’t him - but there was a new, unmistakable layer of attentiveness and protectiveness. It started with him making sure you were alright throughout the day, reminding you to eat, hydrate and rest, often checking in on how you were feeling. The second you expressed any discomfort, such as fatigue or nausea, he would step in, ready to do anything to make it easier for you. The thermostat would be perfectly adjusted, the fridge always stocked with your favorite snacks and he even got some of the specific teas the doctor had recommended. Of course, he absolutely refused to have you carry anything remotely heavy - not even your oversized tote - and whenever you started talking about deadlines for your projects, he reminded you that the last thing you needed was stress.
You thought he’d keep on maintaining his distance at public events - at least as long as you kept the pregnancy hidden. However, you were proven wrong when you both attended a fundraiser for some Detroit charity. As usual, he skipped the red carpet while you did the photo call but, as soon as you were done, you spotted him, waiting for you. Usually, he’d be in some corner of the room, talking to Paul or some acquaintances, but his attention was unmistakably on you. Throughout the night, he didn’t hover or smother you, but he kept closer than usual, and when you walked through the crowded room, he guided you with a hand placed on the small of your back, shielding you from jostling bodies.
« Are you alright? » you asked quietly, to which he hummed and nodded. « You don’t have to stay so close, you know, » you gently reminded him, your tone teasing and affectionate, a smile tugging at the corner of your lips. « Just looking out for you both » he murmured with a faint grin. Your heart swelled and you couldn’t help but find him adorable, so much so that it took a lot of self-control on your part not to kiss him right then and there. Instead, you simply stood there, smiling at each other. As the night event on, you were both solicited by friends and acquaintances, but you could still feel Marshall’s sharp gaze on you, scanning each and every individual that engaged with you, as if to make sure they weren’t a threat. As the night wore on, Marshall’s vigilance didn’t waver. He made sure you always had a glass of water nearby and checked in with you subtly, asking if she needed to sit or if you were getting too warm under the venue’s lights. At one point, when he noticed the press swarmed near the entrance, he positioned himself slightly in front of you, a silent barrier that made it clear you weren’t to be overwhelmed or bothered in any way. By the time you left, you were both exhausted and grateful. You expected to leave in separate cars, as you always did, but instead of sticking to the usual routine, he opened the door and helped you in. Cameras flashed, capturing the rare moment, but none of you really cared. You were simply looking forward to the perspective of heading home for some much-needed rest, and you could tell that he needed to have you close, at least for his own peace of mind.
By the next morning, the Internet was ablaze. Photos and videos from the fundraiser were everywhere, showing the two of you together in ways that left no room for ambiguity. People were notably crazy about one picture, where he could be spotted guiding you through a small crowd, one hand on your back. Twitter threads speculated wildly. « We’ve seen him with her before, but this? This is different, » one user wrote, linking to a clip of him helping her into the car. « I’m telling you, they’re not hiding it anymore. ». The speculation grew more intense with every passing hour. Was this your way of confirming the relationship? Were you going public after years of silence? Marshall, as always, ignored the noise. He spent the morning in his home studio, tinkering with beats, while you scrolled through your phone, half-amused and half-exasperated by the Internet’s obsession. You walked over, wrapping your arms around him from behind. « You know, you’re kind of bad at the whole ‘keeping a low profile’ thing lately. ». He tilted his head back, looking at you with mock indignation. « I’m just making sure you’re good. They’re the ones reading into it. » You laughed, pressing a kiss to the top of his head. « Well, for what it’s worth, I think you’re pretty amazing. »

Pregnancy reveal on Grammy's nomination week?
Christmas jingle?
The Voice guest coach?
What's next? Let me guess some option.
1. Winter wonderland elopement?
2. Some New Age religion baptism for the child?
3. Vow renewal after two months?
4. Face reveal of the baby for some campaign?
5. Very unusual baby name?
6. Wedding sponsored by a high fashion brand?
7. Wedding footage sold to a reality TV network?
8. Honeymoon sex tape?
9. Divorce with no prenup?
10. Paparazzi knowing their location while she looks at the camera and he can't fake being annoyed, every time? How both of y'all actors, but can't act.
11. Diddy trial?
12. Custody battle?
13. Diddy party footage?
14. Child support settlement?
15. Another billionaire white party?
16. Another Kardashian cameo?
17. Another overdose CDAN rumor at a Roc Nation event?
18. Another public meltdown & temporary breakup?
19. Another Snapchat rumor of him cheating with a porn star? Notice how Teanna Trump seems closer to "his only type".
20. His first baby momma finally mustering the courage to stop hiding and speak out about all the BS he must have put her through? If she shares her truth, it'll probably be when her daughter’s in her mid-20s... if he’s still around or relevant enough for anyone to care in 10 years.
21. Somebody hopping on a podcast to share a hook up story?
22. Somebody on instagram sharing how they got an STD?
23. Third baby momma?
24. DV allegations?
25. Rehab?
26. Old tweets being exposed?
If I had to choose, I would say pap photos of them definitely, she will be posting and showing off her stomach in revealing clothes because that is now a popular trend for pregnant celebrities to be doing. So maybe she can rebrand her style as being a hot mom or something. I would also say there will be articles of how he is absent or that Megan feels his not mature to be a father blah blah. They already did that when they were engaged of how she wasn't sure he was the marrying type and later from her own mouth she said marriage wasn't her thing. I don't see them marrying at least until baby is born because that will only extend and give them more things to shove down our throats. Even then I do not see marriage in the cards for them since she had already shut down that fantasy of his, so he will be feeling too insecure to ask her again.
She will most definitely be choosing a weird baby name, and I feel like he would not have a say in the name. He would just go along with it. Because I notice when she shares something that embarrasses him or paints him in a bad light, he usually tucks his tail between his legs and takes the hit for her. Which I totally understand because if I feel if he were to speak up or go against her narrative people would just shit on him because she has been blacklisted, and a woman and he is the man who Eminem forced to switch genres.
Megan chose a perfect man to bully and I'm just going to say it cuz no one wants to admit, abuse. She is abusive to him 100%. But you know how she wants to say she is not seen as a perfect victim, well actually Megan it's Colson who is not the perfect victim cuz he is a man, cuz he disrespected eminems daughter and lost the beef cuz he is the punching bag and the but of the joke for the media and public.
Also, I know people are saying she won't show this baby, but I doubt it. She has done it in the past on her insta she had many photos of her children, and she has also done pap walk with her children at places and times where it was "family" time. I can see her doing magazine shoots with this baby or doing something for a mommy/baby brand. But I think she will do it without Colson which will only help feed into her I'm alone in this world and men aren't shit and absent fathers' narrative

i dont know if this is relevant but incase it helps the vision - i’m half indian/persian so i have light brown skin, dark curly hair and dark eyes
my favorite colours are red and purple, my favorite foods are chicken biriyani and spaghetti bolongnaise, i talk LOADS and really fast and curse probably way to much for anyone’s good, i am super clumsy, i am from england
i listen to litterally eveything; david bowie (obviously), the runaways, queen, paramore, conan grey, gracie abhrams, the nieghbourhood, eminem - literally everything

you could be a perfect addition to poly!jegulus!
your personality seems to encapsulate everything these two boys adore the most: authenticity, passion and joyfulness. of the two, you seem more like james in your unabashed self-expression and presence, but i think that works with them wonderfully. regulus is very infatuated with those who can carry their hearts on their sleeve and fully dedicate themselves to what they enjoy. the fact that you go for your interests with all you have would make him respect and yearn for you. james also really appreciates someone who can keep up with him in conversations and in life, someone who is beyond happy to jump up and do something random just for the sake of it, someone who will burst into song with him or whip up an elaborate meal. i think the two of you would make each other feel understood while also pacing each other, because if it ever got to the point of your outwardness overshadowing regulus with his more quiet demeanor, you would see it more easily when there is two of you. the three of you could spend some great quality time together, passing banter back and forth as you engage in your interests. i think regulus is highly skilled at the piano and james knows his way around a guitar, so they could help you feel more steady in that skill, or provide the melody for you as you practice your singing.

keremdogulu:
leylayilmazx:
There were a few people she was scared of in this world, but the Turks were not. Too much shit had happened in her childhood for her to ever give them the satisfaction. yes, not she could see that he was angry at her, the tap of his hand on the table wasn’t even the first indication of it.
But please, a person with pure intentions wouldn’t be angry. Because she was concerned for someone she loved and it was the usual thing for people to want to know that whatever that was going on in their life, was for the sake of them. That they could hand them off to someone they could trust them with and Leyla, she did not trust the man in front of her. His actions, his words, simply, did not convince her fully. Not in the way it should have been.
“I’m not shitting on what you have. I am asking you, I am looking after someone I care about. If I didn’t give a fuck about her, I wouldn’t be here, I wouldn’t even fucking try.” Leyla wasn’t as calm of a person as Kerem was. most of the time she could just walk away from situations that offered her nothing, but this was something she believed was needed, something she wanted to make sure of. For Emine. so her words became different, but she didn’t care. A Turkish man could throw anything at her and she wouldn’t linger.
“And by the way. Love is different? In what world? You either love them or you don’t.” She could have easily brought up her choices because she fucking knew they all judged her behind her back, and talked about what she gave up on what she did. But at least, her real friends talked to her face instead of whispering behind her back. Yes, her boyfriend was a French boss, yes she was a hypocrite, but she was in love and she didn’t care. That was the bottom line and ultimately it was something along those lines that she wanted to hear from him.
“Get off your high horse, Kerem. You don’t deserve to be on one just yet.”
.
Kerem’s jaw clenched, he could practically feel the aggitation seeping into his bones, because each other Leyla’s words cut through him like a sharpened knife, which only further fueled the flames of his anger. He’d never been one to engage in heated arguments, especially not in public, but her persistence was testing his limits. His grip on the table tightened, knuckles turning white as he struggled to maintain his composure.
“I don’t need your damn approval, Leyla,” Kerem shot back, his voice still low but laced with a sharp edge. He could feel his heart pounding in his chest, the rush of emotions threatening to overwhelm him. He knew he was treading on thin ice, but he refused to let her belittle him any further.
“Love is complicated, okay? It’s not just black and white, and if your relationship’s like that. Good for fucking you. But mine has…layers, it has things that only me and Emine know about. And guess what, we love each other regardless of the good and the bad” he retorted, his tone tinged with frustration. “Not everyone’s life fits into a neat box.” His nostrils flared, his breaths coming faster as he struggled to keep his anger from boiling over.
‘‘Your answer, if I put it so plainly? I love her. I would die for her.’‘ He scoffed. There was such a big part of him that wanted to call Emine over, ask her to tell Leyla herself. But there were parts of him, things that even he liked to keep to himself. ‘‘Yeah, you’re right, you’re asking me. But I’m telling you now, you won’t agree with whatever answer I gave you. You’ve made it perfectly clear, Leyla. Fuckin’ hell. I wasn’t good enough for Nevra, and now you’ve decided I’m not good enough for Emine? What am I good for then? Please for the love of fucking god, tell me. I’m dying to know.’‘
His voice wavered for a moment, his frustration mingling with a touch of vulnerability. “I am facing them, Leyla. In my own damn way.” The admission hung heavy in the air, a raw admission of his struggles. He hated showing this side of himself, the side that felt weak and exposed. ‘’You might not like me, fair enough, you’re here for Emine. But by upsetting me on her special night, what’re you going to accomplish? Couldn’t you have done the civilized thing and I don’t know…spoke to me another time?’’
Kerem’s jaw tightened further, his fists clenching as he fought to rein in his anger. He took a deep breath, his voice low and controlled. “You don’t know me, Leyla. You think you do, but you don’t, and you sure as hell don’t get to decide what Emine deserves. She and I do.” The words came out sharper than he intended, a mix of defiance and hurt. He couldn’t take it anymore, if he carried on this conversation it was going to boil over.
‘‘Berat,’‘ He called out sharply, waving him over with a pleading in his eyes.
He knew Leyla’s words held a painful truth, one he couldn’t ignore any longer. As the party continued around him, the weight of his own doubts and insecurities bore down on him, threatening to shatter the facade he had so carefully constructed. He needed a moment, he needed to get outside and cool off before Emine saw.
@berat-yalaz
.
This wasn’t the party he’d been anticipating.
Seeing Leyla show up with the Frenchman had been deflating enough, but as soon as Berat took note of the first few Russians slipping in through the doors, he knew that it had the potential to get out of hand. Fast. Truth be told, when Adriana had invited him to her birthday, he couldn’t have imagined somewhere he’d want to be less. Even if it was for her. Now, though, it seemed like maybe he’d have been better off catching the flight she’d arranged for him.
Do it for Emine, he kept telling himself every time he looked for the nearest exit.
It was strange. Not that he didn’t want to be around people, because those phases came and went, but not wanting to be around his people? That was new.
Free booze was a mistake whenever Berat was invited, and usually he would’ve kept a steady pace to not take the piss out of this generous host in particular...but not tonight. It would take said open bar to keep him as a functioning human; to keep him going through this thing. In fact, when the sound of his best friend calling over from an exchange he’d been watching out of the corner of his eye, he was already a few solid trays of tequila in. He’d pay for it in the morning; literally and physically.
Whilst he didn’t know what they’d been discussing, the fact the both of them looked to be irritated was a red flag in itself. Enough to drag him out of the chair he’d been impossible to coerce out of all evening, uneasily meandering over toward the two familiar faces with much more effort than should've been required.
“Everything all right?” Obviously not, dickhead. Clearly it was Kerem who wanted to end whatever unpleasant conversation they were having, or he wouldn’t have been the one to call him over for backup. So, he looked to Leyla. “Come get a drink with me?”

8 mile film review
8 mile is an autobiography of the famous Hip hop rapper Eminiem which depicted his early life before he came to fame. The film is rated a 15 and was released in 2002, you can find it on Netflix and Amazon prime video.
Eminem himself plays the main character Jimmy Smith Jr who goes by his stage name B.rabbit. Jimmy grew up with a single mother (Kim Basigner) and when he was older he returned to her intoxicating trailer where his younger sister was still growing up. Jimmy tried to provide for his sister, his alcoholic mother and her maverick boyfriend. However the events became chaotic.
Jimmy dreamed of becoming a rapper by attending rap concerts that his friend hosted. Although he faced many foes which he competed with in concerts and his own personal life. One of his main rivals was Papa Doc (Anthony Mackie) who tested B rabbit's talent to his full extent.
This film brings hip hop and drama together creating a grungy and menacing atmosphere for the protagonist due to the level of struggle to become a rapper as it was heavily influenced by black culture. This is definitely targeted to those who are influenced and attentive to rap culture and the life of Eminem when he was growing up. Tying things together, this flick only narrates the foundation of Eminem starting up as a rapper and not his career afterwards, which creates a more engaging tone as it zooms into his juvenility.
Overall this film is a message of dedication and equality which is artistically intertwined with one another by the aid of Curtis Hanson (director) and co. who brought this anecdote to life.

Blondie - Parallel Lines
The bubblegum pop of the 60 meets the punk rock edge of the 70s. Debbie Harry bridges the gap effortlessly with her energetic delivery. And the music somehow never doesn't sound punk even when they are deep into bubbly pop numbers or disco. There's a bit of polish compared to their debut, but Blondie really manage to stand out from the crowd by leveraging that against the rawer punk sound of the late 70s to create an essential piece of new wave music.

Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP
Eminem is one of the weirdest rappers out there. Well he was before they killed him and replaced him with an army recruitment robot. There are nested levels of kayfabe happening here that I wanna break down. Slim Shady is a character played by Eminem who is a character played by Marshall Mathers. The three personae all have very different opinions on their newfound success and the way the song's attitudes towards nearly everything veers wildly back and forth can be explained by this. Marshall Mathers is conflicted but ultimately unashamed of his work, Eminem is feeling a little ashamed of the character of slim shady and how that character has affected people, and Slim Shady is fucking insane. The interplay between these three makes Eminem's second album a lot more thoughtful and engaging than his first. Now you're gonna need an extremely high tolerance for homophobia and mysogyny because that is the bread and butter of his shock value, and he whips slurs around at an even higher rate that his first. But to me it is so incredibly extreme that there is no reality that is reflected by this music. Mathers' absolute mastery of the craft is also on display and ramped up. The Real Slim Shady has an insane flow that delivers rhymes with a pace that will give you whiplash. And of course how can we forget Stan? The song that somehow became the internet's phrase du jour for diehard fandom. It's impeccable how well Eminem delivers the lines in a way that evokes a letter without ever breaking the flow or rhyme scheme. His mastery of storytelling on Stan is on par, if not better than, Slick Rick himself. I don't know if I'll get any shit for saying this is a fantastic album slurs and all but like there's a little Slim Shady in all of us isn't there? Come indulge him a bit.

Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
Yeah ok Physical Graffiti is an enjoyable album that sees Led Zeppelin playing around with long ass songs and some prog rock type stuff. The long ones like Kashmir and In The Light are really good, and I love the little folk dirty that is Bron-Yr-Aur. It runs too long though and honestly why are we fucking around with a bunch of Led Zeppelin albums on this list? Houses Of The Holy? Physical Graffiti? Just put Zeppelin IV on the list and call it a day.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/402b621327a066721f32d904bae0e546/cf6b6c635b3dcd0c-14/s540x810/bd09f51cf075ccf2efebc21ae4c9f7eb3404b90c.jpg)
Velvet Underground - s/t
I don't fucking understand this list. Are they really gonna put on every single Velvet Underground record? Why is this apparently the second best one? It's a good album don't get me wrong, but c'mon. The official Audrey ranking goes &Nico>White Light/White Heat>Loaded>Velvet Underground. And I don't even think the last two ought to make the top 500 list. This album is too soft and delicate with the only real standout track being the penultimate song an eight minute jam called The Murder Mystery. The rest is pleasant but samey. Easily Velvet Underground's weakest offering.

Bruce Springsteen - Born In The U.S.A.
What a weird but predictable turn of events that led this album to lead a double life. Upbeat pop melodies, a down home aesthetic, and an American flag on the album's cover drew in a crowd who would be fundamentally opposed to Springsteen's compassionate left wing beliefs if they had listened any farther than the chorus of the title track. The sessions that led to Born In The U.S.A. were the same ones that produced Nebraska and you can see it in some of the lyricism. A lot of sad stories about broken people just a little more well produced and with the E Street Band back in full force. Although a couple of tracks, I'm On Fire and My Hometown especially, sound like they could have just been off Nebraska.

Nevra: Are you cheating already? Did you plant cameras here? This request is suspiciously close to my current situation. Nevra: If you cheat you get nothing.
Berat: Well shit, no. But now I’m wondering if I should have. Berat: Like I said, several photographs. Woe is me. Feeling so abandoned. Berat: Got time to make a stop on the way back? Berat: I have a plan.

The Ever-Evolving Landscape of Modern Music Culture
Music has always been a dynamic force, continuously reshaping itself through the influence of new trends, technological advancements, and cultural shifts. In today’s digitally interconnected era, the way fans discover, interact with, and appreciate music is undergoing a transformation unlike any that came before. From grappling with the loss of beloved artists to eagerly awaiting the next big album release, listeners now navigate an ever-expanding array of genres, languages, and influences. The internet age not only enables fans to find their favorite songs at the click of a button but also fosters a deeper understanding of the artists behind the music.
1. Introduction: The Constantly Shifting Music Scene
The music landscape of the 21st century is both vibrant and unpredictable, thriving on a cycle of reinvention. Artists constantly experiment with new sounds, blending genres to create fresh and accessible forms of expression. Meanwhile, fans have mastered the art of digital exploration. In seconds, they can navigate from a classic rock anthem to a recently released hip-hop track, and from there, discover a fusion of electronic beats paired with traditional acoustic instruments from halfway around the globe.
Social media platforms have become vital tools for artists and fans alike. A simple hashtag or viral video can launch a relatively unknown musician into the global spotlight. At the same time, the rapid pace of information flow means that communities form almost instantly around breaking news—be it the emergence of a rising star, the announcement of a surprise album drop, or the heartbreaking demise of a beloved singer. As these events unfold, the threads of culture that bind fans together across continents become ever more visible.
2. The Impact of Loss in the Music World
Few events bring music communities together like the passing of an artist. When the world learns of a singer who died today, the news spreads at lightning speed. Fans take to social media to share songs, anecdotes, and personal stories. In these moments of collective mourning, the true power of music becomes evident: it provides a language of empathy and understanding that transcends borders. This process of communal grieving can also become a catalyst for deeper reflection on an artist’s body of work, causing listeners to revisit old favorites and discover songs they may have overlooked before.
While the pain of loss is profound, it often sparks important conversations. Listeners contemplate the artist’s impact not only on themselves but on future generations. The legacy of a singer lives on through the music that survives them—songs that continue to offer solace, hope, and inspiration. In many ways, the death of a beloved musician underscores the enduring timelessness of their art. Long after the headlines fade, their voice remains, preserved in recordings, lyrics, and the hearts of those who loved them.
3. Anticipation and Significance of Album Releases
On the opposite end of the emotional spectrum lies the excitement of a highly anticipated album launch. Some artists, like Eminem, are known for delivering new music that can spark intense discussion and speculation among fans. This anticipation hinges on the careful timing of eminem album release dates, with listeners clamoring to be the first to hear and interpret the new tracks. In an era where streaming platforms grant immediate access, the communal thrill lies not just in the music itself but in the shared journey of waiting and discovering.
Album releases often serve as cultural milestones. Fans eagerly bookmark the date and time, theorize about possible themes, and prepare to dissect the lyrics. When the album finally arrives, it becomes a communal event—fans swarm online forums, social media platforms, and streaming services to engage in passionate debates about meaning and influence. The entire world can tune in at once, transforming a single musical drop into a global cultural conversation. This synchronized experience reinforces the bond between listener and artist, allowing fans to feel intimately connected to a musician’s creative evolution.

The result is a richer, more inclusive musical tapestry—one that respects tradition while fostering innovation. In this environment, every listener can become an explorer, charting their own path through the world’s sounds.
5. The Intimate Connection Between Fans and Lyrics
Lyrics play a pivotal role in the music experience. They serve as the bridge between artist and audience, transforming melodies into deeply personal narratives. When fans search for i know you know we know lyrics, they are often motivated by a desire to delve beneath the surface and decipher an artist’s intentions. These lyrics can carry coded meanings or reflect universal truths that prompt listeners to reflect on their own lives and relationships. In moments of heartache or celebration, words become anchors, guiding individuals through complex emotional landscapes.
Similarly, examining intention song lyrics offers another avenue for connection. By understanding the narrative behind the words, fans gain insights into the artist’s perspective, creative process, and emotional state. These connections foster empathy and admiration. They also encourage listeners to participate in a kind of dialogue, even though the artist may be far removed in both time and space. Lyrics become conversation starters, intellectual puzzles, and emotional confessions all rolled into one, creating a relationship that transcends the usual barriers between performer and audience.
In the digital era, this relationship becomes increasingly multi-dimensional. Lyric annotations, fan interpretations, and cultural critiques abound in online forums, blogs, and comment sections. Listeners share their insights, bond over interpretations, and occasionally dispute certain meanings. As this collective introspection unfolds, fans find comfort in the knowledge that they are not alone in their love for a particular phrase or verse. The community that forms around an artist’s lyrics enriches the experience, granting depth to what might otherwise be a solitary act of listening.
6. Conclusion: Embracing a Dynamic Musical Future
The modern music world is infinitely complex, weaving together threads of personal experience, cultural influence, and technological advancement. Events like the passing of a cherished artist highlight the communal nature of music—the way it helps us mourn, remember, and celebrate in unison. Anticipating album releases transforms a simple launch into a worldwide festival, granting fans a chance to congregate and share their excitement. Meanwhile, the global reach of digital platforms enables us to sample genres and styles from every continent, expanding our minds and hearts in the process.
Just as important is the role of lyrics, those potent combinations of words that bring meaning to melody. They give voice to emotions that unite listeners across oceans and generations. By dissecting, debating, and cherishing lyrics, fans form intimate bonds with their favorite musicians. These connections remind us that music, at its core, is a human endeavor—one that thrives on collective empathy and curiosity.
In embracing this dynamic future, listeners accept that change is not only inevitable but invigorating. Every loss, every release, every newly discovered artist, and every lyric with hidden resonance adds another dimension to the musical universe. By staying engaged, open-minded, and reflective, fans can ensure that the pulse of music continues to energize and enlighten future generations. The evolving culture of modern music is as much about exploring what’s new as it is about remembering what came before, and in that ongoing interplay, listeners find an infinite source of inspiration and delight.

amescastaignede:
‘He could’ve more than afforded it.’
The words felt like ice on burned skin. And he said them in a way that…she wasn’t quite sure. Her brows furrowed as she tried to piece each part together. She tried not to think about the kind of money Gideon had in comparison to her. It was the kind of topic that would spiral and she didn’t need more self doubt that she already harboured. ‘‘I, uh…’ She was lost for words on that one. ‘‘Even if he’d offered, I could never have…y’know, let him…pay… for me? Call it pride, I don’t know. He had his reasons.’‘
In all honesty, even if he’d offered she wouldn’t have gone. Not yet.
However, the second he let her know his connections to the room, her eyes widened.
‘‘Wait…you…you’re Emine’s brother?’‘ Amélie said, lips parted as she turned to look over her shoulder where the happy couple were being exactly that, embraced in one anothers arms, it managed to bring the ghost of a smile back to her lips. She did love a good romance. ‘‘That’s kinda…awesome in the…it’s a small world, kinda’ sense? But, yeah, small world. I’m friends with your sister and…’‘ She looked around the room pointing to Leyla. ‘‘Her as well,’‘
.
“Well, that’s their life. That’s the Rutherfords. You’re going to miss out on a lot with them if you’re never willing to let him take you along for the ride.”
Berat knew he should’ve been kinder about it, but he didn’t have it in him right now. The fact he hadn’t even offered, though..? Maybe he hadn’t wanted her there.
God, he needed a fucking drink.
Doubly so when she pointed to Leyla. Small world, indeed.
“How did you meet Leyla? Actually, never mind. Let's keep some things a mystery.” Probably the surgical fucking asshole, at this point... They never would learn to keep away from the Turks, it seemed. “Yeah, I’ve known her since she was a kid. Her sister was my best friend.” Until she got involved with her very own Rutherford. “Think I’m going to go find another drink, though. Do enjoy the rest of your night."

How to Build a Rap Persona: Getting Into the Music Industry as a Rapper
Breaking into the music industry as a rapper requires more than just lyrical talent or a catchy beat—it demands the cultivation of a compelling rap persona. Your persona is the unique identity that differentiates you from countless other aspiring artists in a competitive landscape. It’s the combination of your style, message, sound, and overall presence that makes listeners connect with you. This guide explores the essential steps to develop a rap persona that can help you stand out and make a lasting impression in the music industry.
1. Define Your Unique Sound and Style
Your sound is your sonic fingerprint. It’s the distinct way your voice, flow, and lyrics come together to create music that feels unmistakably you. The music industry has room for innovation, and listeners crave authenticity. To define your sound:
Experiment with Genres: While staying rooted in hip-hop, incorporate elements from other genres like jazz, trap, funk, or R&B.
Play with Your Flow: How you deliver your lyrics is as important as the words themselves. Experiment with speed, rhythm, and pauses.
Be Consistent: Once you find a sound that resonates with you and your audience, build on it. Consistency helps establish your identity.
For example, Kendrick Lamar is known for his thought-provoking lyrics and dynamic delivery, while artists like Lil Nas X combine rap with pop elements to create a broader appeal.
2. Develop a Strong Visual Identity
Your visual identity plays a critical role in how your audience perceives you. From your wardrobe to album artwork, the way you present yourself visually should align with your music and persona.
Fashion Choices: Your clothing and accessories should reflect your personality and music style. For instance, A$AP Rocky incorporates high fashion into his image, while J. Cole often opts for a laid-back, relatable look.
Branding Colors and Themes: Use consistent colors and themes across your social media profiles, album covers, and merchandise to create a recognizable brand.
Music Videos: Your videos are a chance to bring your persona to life. Use them to tell your story, showcase your creativity, and visually express your identity.
3. Create a Compelling Backstory
Fans connect with artists who have compelling stories. Your journey, challenges, and triumphs are all part of what makes you unique.
Authenticity Matters: Share real experiences that shaped who you are. Whether it’s growing up in a tough neighborhood or overcoming personal struggles, these stories resonate with audiences.
Incorporate Themes: Let your backstory influence your lyrics and themes. For example, if perseverance is a big part of your journey, make it a recurring theme in your music.
Eminem's rise to fame is a classic example. His story of growing up in poverty and using music as an outlet for his struggles became a central part of his persona.
4. Hone Your Stage Presence
Your live performances are a powerful way to build your persona. When you perform, you’re not just delivering music—you’re telling a story and creating an experience.
Energy and Confidence: Command the stage with energy and confidence that captivates the audience.
Signature Moves: Develop habits or moves that make your performances memorable, like Travis Scott’s crowd-hyping energy or Kanye West’s theatrical stage designs.
Engage with Fans: Acknowledge your audience, make eye contact, and interact with them. It creates a deeper connection.
5. Craft Your Lyrical Identity
Your lyrics are at the heart of your rap persona. They reflect your thoughts, values, and experiences.
Write with Purpose: Consider what message you want to convey through your music. Are you a storyteller, a motivator, or a provocateur?
Use Personal Experiences: Incorporate real-life events into your lyrics to make them relatable and impactful.
Experiment with Wordplay: Clever metaphors, puns, and wordplay not only demonstrate your skills but also make your lyrics more engaging.
Artists like Nas and Jay-Z are known for their introspective and poetic lyrics, while others like Cardi B use humor and confidence to showcase their personality.
6. Build a Consistent Online Presence
In today’s music industry, your online presence is as important as your music. Social media platforms offer an opportunity to showcase your persona to a global audience.
Be Authentic: Share content that reflects your personality and values. Authenticity helps build trust and loyalty.
Engage Regularly: Respond to comments, participate in trends, and interact with fans to stay relevant.
Post Strategically: Use a mix of behind-the-scenes content, music releases, and personal moments to give fans a holistic view of who you are.
Think of how Drake balances relatability with a luxurious lifestyle, creating an aspirational yet approachable image.
7. Leverage Your Network
Building a rap persona doesn’t happen in isolation. The people you collaborate with can influence how others perceive you.
Collaborate Wisely: Work with artists, producers, and videographers whose style complements your persona.
Seek Mentorship: Learning from established rappers can provide guidance on building a career and persona.
Build Community: Engage with your local music scene and online communities to establish yourself as part of a broader movement.
8. Stay True to Yourself
While evolving your persona is essential as you grow, staying true to yourself is crucial for long-term success. Audiences can sense inauthenticity, and forcing a persona that doesn’t align with who you are will eventually backfire.
Embrace Your Flaws: Perfection isn’t relatable. Let your imperfections shine—they make you human.
Evolve Organically: As your music and experiences change, allow your persona to grow naturally.
Conclusion
Building a rap persona is a multifaceted process that requires introspection, creativity, and consistency. It’s about blending your sound, style, story, and presence into an identity that resonates with audiences and leaves a lasting impression. By defining your unique characteristics and staying authentic, you can craft a persona that not only gets you noticed but also helps you thrive in the music industry. Remember, your persona isn’t just who you are—it’s how the world sees and remembers you as a rapper.

Choosing the Best Point of View for Your Song
The point of view (POV) you choose for your song can significantly impact how your story unfolds and how listeners connect with it. Understanding the different perspectives available and how to use them effectively can help you create more engaging and memorable music. This article will explore the various points of view in songwriting, their advantages and challenges, and provide tips on how to choose the best POV for your song.
Main Body
Understanding Points of View
First Person: This perspective involves the singer narrating their own experiences using pronouns like "I" and "me." It creates an intimate and personal connection with the listener, allowing the singer to share their emotions and stories directly.
Second Person: This viewpoint addresses the listener directly using "you." It can make the listener feel involved in the song's narrative, creating a more engaging and interactive experience.
Third Person: This perspective tells the story from an outsider's viewpoint, using pronouns like "he," "she," and "they." It allows for a broader narrative scope, offering detailed descriptions and multiple character perspectives.
Advantages and Challenges
First Person
Advantages: Creates intimacy and a strong emotional connection with the listener. It allows for personal expression and vulnerability, making the song feel more authentic and relatable.
Challenges: Can be limiting in scope and perspective. It may not fit all themes or stories, particularly those requiring multiple viewpoints or a broader narrative.
Second Person
Advantages: Engages the listener directly, making them feel like a part of the story. This perspective can enhance emotional engagement and make the song more immediate and personal.
Challenges: Less commonly used and can be challenging to execute effectively. If not done well, it can feel forced or gimmicky.
Third Person
Advantages: Versatile and broad, allowing for rich storytelling and character development. It is ideal for songs with complex narratives and multiple characters.
Challenges: Can feel distant and less personal. It requires more effort to create emotional depth and maintain listener engagement.
Choosing the Right Perspective
Selecting the appropriate POV depends on the message and mood of your song. Consider the following tips:
First Person: Choose this POV if you want to share a personal story or emotion. It is ideal for songs that require a direct emotional connection with the listener.
Second Person: Use this POV if you want to engage the listener directly, making them feel like a part of the song. It works well for motivational or instructional themes.
Third Person: Opt for this POV if your song involves multiple characters or a broader narrative. It allows you to create a detailed and rich story that explores different perspectives.
Examples in Popular Music
First Person: "Someone Like You" by Adele. This song creates a deeply personal connection with the listener by sharing the singer's own experiences and emotions.
Second Person: "You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift. The direct address creates an immediate and personal connection with the audience.
Third Person: "Stan" by Eminem. This song uses a third-person perspective to tell a detailed and compelling story, allowing for rich character development.
Techniques for Writing from Different Perspectives
First Person: Personal and Vivid
Use personal pronouns like "I" and "me."
Share specific anecdotes and emotions to create a vivid narrative.
Focus on personal experiences that listeners can relate to.
Second Person: Direct and Interactive
Address the listener directly with "you."
Create scenarios that involve the listener and make them feel part of the story.
Use commands, questions, and hypothetical situations to engage the listener.
Third Person: Detailed and Expansive
Describe characters, settings, and events in detail.
Use descriptive language to build a vivid and immersive narrative.
Develop multiple characters and perspectives to add depth to the story.
Impact on Audience Connection
The chosen POV influences how your audience connects with your song. Personal stories (first person) can evoke empathy and make the listener feel connected to the singer, while direct addresses (second person) can inspire action and create a sense of immediacy. Detailed narratives (third person) can captivate and intrigue with their complexity and richness.
Experimenting with Perspectives
Don't hesitate to experiment with different POVs to see which one best suits your song. Write drafts of your song from various perspectives and assess which version resonates most with your intended message and audience. Sometimes, a simple shift in viewpoint can transform the entire feel and impact of a song.
Blending Multiple Perspectives
In some cases, blending different perspectives within a song can create a dynamic and multifaceted narrative. For example, starting with a third-person perspective to set the scene and then switching to first person for a more intimate look at the emotions of a character can add depth and complexity to your songwriting.
Practical Writing Exercises
To enhance your ability to write from different perspectives, try these exercises:
First Person Exercise: Write a verse about a personal experience. Focus on using vivid imagery and emotional language to convey your feelings.
Second Person Exercise: Write a song that gives advice or tells a story directly to the listener. Use commands, questions, and direct statements to engage them.
Third Person Exercise: Create a narrative song that follows a character or tells a detailed story. Describe the scenes, emotions, and interactions in detail to build a vivid narrative.
Integrating POV in Songwriting
When integrating POV into your songwriting, consider the following tips:
Consistency: Ensure that the chosen POV remains consistent throughout the song unless you are intentionally blending multiple perspectives for effect.
Clarity: Make sure the POV is clear to the listener. Avoid confusing shifts that can disrupt the narrative flow.
Emotional Depth: Use the POV to enhance the emotional depth of your song. Choose a perspective that allows you to express the emotions and themes you want to convey effectively.
The point of view you choose for your song can transform its impact. By experimenting with different perspectives, you can find the one that best tells your story and connects with your listeners. Whether you choose to write from the first person, second person, or third person, understanding the strengths and challenges of each perspective will help you craft memorable and impactful songs.
