     She completely ignored him. Not wanting to hear much of him at the moment after she watched his entire set. The crowd thrusting things on stage for him and his band and almost themselves a couple times and her boyfriend said nothing. 

      Some fans had some meet and greet passes for the band which was normal. Y/n stood with staff till it was over. Eclipse: *walks in with little Veil*

Re-writing this in 4k

Pt 1

Eclipse emerges into the main room with little hesitation, having already devoted himself to allowing this type of vulnerability to show. He didn’t know why he was showing it, but…he felt like he needed to. For Veil, perhaps, or to assure himself that he was a comforting presence now, instead of a threatening one.

No matter the reason, he was here now, and there was no going back.

But, oh boy, does he want to go back the moment that everyone turns to look at him.

He would’ve done just that if it wasn’t for the way Veil tightens his grip under all those eyes, hiding timidly amongst Eclipse’s oil-streaked clothing. The elder animatronic stands his ground, as he usually does, despite the looks he is being given.

Judgement dances in the stances and stares of everyone around the room, and, for just a moment, Eclipse wants to wipe those looks away. He wants to snap and slash, catching each one of them in his claws like wild animals caught in the clutches of a snare.

But he doesn’t.

He’s been good.

“What did you need me for?” He breaks the silence with a tight voice, one that demands an answer so that he may leave.

“Uh…are we just gonna…ignore that…?” Moon motions to Veil in his arms, a wrench dangling from his hand.

“Ignore what?” Eclipse asks innocently. He knows playing dumb won’t get him very far, but since when has that stopped him from doing something?

“Don’t play stupid!”

Blood Moon bristles, their claws digging into the beanbag they were previously peacefully situated upon. Now they kneel amongst it’s fabric with wild eyes, shoulders tight, back arched like a cat about to leap into a battle.

Eclipse glances down to them in a calm manner.

“Play stupid? Me? You’re amusing, boys.” He smiles in a mock sort of warmth, addressing his sons as if nothing is wrong. In reality, there is nothing truly wrong, but…

This seems to agitate them, for some reason.

Hearing Blood Moon’s sharp tone seems to frighten Veil, of whom begins to shake in his arms. He shuts his eyes tightly against the growing fear that sinks its teeth into his head, willing it to leave him be.

“You-“ Blood Moon starts, voice barely above a growl. Lunar reaches out and lays a hand onto their arm, his own eyes round with worry.

“Stop that! We’re having a moment!” They snap, shoving Lunar’s hand off with more aggression than they intended. Lunar lets out a squeak and scoots back, but…he doesn’t seem scared. No, he almost seems…angry…

“That was mean!” Lunar crosses his arms over his chest, eyeing Blood Moon with unwavering determination. They don’t even look at him.

“That thing hurt all of us, and you’re just…what, caring for it? Being gentle with it?! Replacing us with it?! Hell, it killed you!” Blood Moon snarls, noting with satisfaction that Veil flinches on almost every word.

Eclipse can’t help but bark out a laugh.

“Replace you? What are you going on about?” He asks, tone dripping with amusement. This only seems to upset them more.

“You’re not even listening!!” They shout, slamming their hand down onto the beanbag they’re still hunched upon.

“Because you’re having a temper tantrum.”

“TEMPER TANTRUM?!” Their voices shift and crackle, static coursing through their bitter tones. Two voices, perfectly aligned, speaking as one. They both feel this outlandish jealousy, and they both feel it to the same extreme.

Lovely.

What frustrates Eclipse is that Veil begins to cry in his arms once again, his eyes blazing with anger as he glares daggers into Blood Moon’s own pointed stare.

“You made him cry.” Eclipse scolds.

“ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS RIGHT NOW?!” Blood Moon raises their hands, tugging at their cap with shaking claws, taunt with shock and betrayal.

“Be quiet, both of you. What is it that I was to be questioned about? I would like to get this over with before this environment becomes more hostile.” Eclipse quips lightly, glancing around the room. Sun looks at Moon, and Moon looks at the floor.

“…I was gonna ask if you had the cat memes still, to share with Sun.”

Eclipse’s expression flattens. “You’re deadass.”

“I’m deadass.”

“No, your ass is dead.” He hisses, and Moon instantly raises his hands in a show of innocence.

“You could’ve said ‘hey, I’m having a moment and need a bit of time, can you hold on?’ You know, like normal people do?”

Eclipse scowls, but makes no attempt to refute Moon’s statement.

“By the way, thanks for pointing fingers, Sun.” Moon comments sourly.

“I looked at you!” Sun defends, throwing his arms up in the air in exasperation.

“With purpose!”

“Oh my god you cannot be serious right now-“

As the two siblings begin to bicker, Rays slowly raises his hand in the midst of all the chaos. Eclipse gives him a confused look, but nods to him nonetheless.

“Does he have a name?” He asks quietly, giving a vague motion towards Veil. Eclipse stares at him for a moment, seemingly surprised that someone is trying to accommodate for Veil despite the obvious tension his presence provides. Then again…Rays wasn’t exactly around when Eclipse was slaughtered by his newest son.

“Veil.” Eclipse responds after a long silence, glancing down to the animatronic in question as his creation stirs in his arms, looking nervously over to Rays, of whom gives him a small wave and warm, welcoming smile.

Thank god…someone has sense.

“That’s a cool name.” He adds, making Veil smile the slightest bit.

“Thank you.” Veil murmurs shyly.

“It’s a dumb name.” Blood Moon mutters from their place beside Lunar, arms crossed and face set in a sour sort of pout.

“Be nice. He’s scared.” Rays attempts to reason with the envious twins, of whom shut down his consolations with one sharp glare. Rays withers back into his place near the couch, falling into a heavy silence.

“Blood Moon’s a dumb name.” Veil retaliates, though immediately regrets it when they turn their head 180 degrees to face him, neck bent at an odd angle while their arms are still firmly crossed in front of them.

“Say it to our face and see what happens.” They threaten, quite obviously wishing Veil to take up their offer so that they’ll have an excuse to lunge.

Eclipse turns so that Veil is out of their sightline.

“Enough.” He demands, tone flat, reminiscent of the days that Blood Moon remembers being the worst of their lives. They look away, turning their head back the right direction with a barely audible ‘click’ as it falls back into place.

“You too.” Eclipse scolds Veil, of whom shrinks away from him with a quick, frightened nod.

“You’re keeping him.”

Lunar’s voice, so uncharacteristically cold for someone as lighthearted as he usually is. It isn’t a question, no, but a statement awaiting confirmation. His sky blue eyes bore into Eclipse’s back, and he turns to see the most furious expression he’s ever seen on his little brother’s face.

“He’s not a dog, but…I guess, yeah, in a sense, I am keeping him.” Eclipse responds skeptically.

The fury intensifies.

“He killed you.”

Lunar usually doesn’t outright say these things, as admitting the event happened can often lead to him crying for hours on end at the memories. He has a few specific words he has vowed not to say, and ‘killed’ just happens to be one of them.

“Yeah.” Eclipse tries to ignore the unease that stirs in his circuits.

“Did that mean nothing?”

Eclipse remains silent at that, looking away, avoiding Lunar’s accusatory gaze.

“I cried for you. Because of him. And that’s just it? It means nothing to you?”

“It doesn’t mean nothing. It just means that I’m willing to forgive him.” Eclipse flashes back, head coming up so that he can meet Lunar’s eyes once again.

“What if none of us are willing to forgive him? What then?” Again, that same cold, unfeeling tone. It doesn’t fit Lunar. Eclipse hates hearing it from Lunar.

“Then there will be an issue.”

The room falls silent after that. Everyone stays still, Sun and Moon having since ended their argument due to the amounting stress in the room. Now, they exchange conflicted glances, offering one another silent apologies.

A scrabble of claws over wood brings the group from their trance.

“Blood!” Lunar shouts, reaching out in a vain attempt to stop their deranged behavior before it gets someone hurt.

But they’re already out of his reach.

“Run.”

Eclipse looks down to Veil, a frenzied panic clearly reflecting in both father and son’s eyes. Veil, however, had an urgency in his voice that drives Eclipse to act instead of stand and stare.

He does just that, sliding to the side right as Blood Moon lunges, colliding harshly with the wall, in the place that Eclipse just stood.

Not directed at me.

Eclipse’s eyes widen, watching his crazed sons shake their head like a stunned dog, then turn to face him with a vacant look that chills him to his core.

Their gaze is locked on Veil.

Eclipse takes another step back as Sun and Moon begin to move towards them, Lunar not far behind.

“Over here!”

Eclipse looks up, over to the ladder, where Rays is perched with his arms outstretched, urging Eclipse and Veil towards him. With one last helpless look over his shoulder at Blood Moon, Eclipse moves over to Rays, grabbing his hand and being pleasantly surprised (and kinda impressed) when the battered animatronic manages to hoist him up onto the platform that leads out into the daycare.

Blood Moon has since been restrained by Moon, but it doesn’t seem to stop their relentless pursuit. This…this is a hunt to them. They won’t stop until Veil is either killed, or out of their sight.

But where would they go?

Moon yelps, tossed off to the side as Blood Moon manages to get some sort of advantage. Sun dives to take his brother’s place, but Blood Moon has already begun to bolt towards the ladder.

Rays positions himself at the top, planting himself between the aggressor and Eclipse, of whom still clutches Veil firmly to his chest.

“They won’t stop.” Eclipse says helplessly, and Rays glances over his shoulder just long enough to say perhaps the most badass thing he’s said since his arrival.

“You know what to do. I’ll hold them off.”

Eclipse watches in horror as Blood Moon grapples with Rays, savagely beginning to tear into the poor animatronic. Then it clicks.

I can stop this.

Eclipse’s pupil shrinks, a pinprick in the endless darkness of his eye. The other eye flickers to life, a barely visible ring of light glowing from beneath the cracked glass.

The other side of his vision comes back in a burst of color.

“Veil, don’t look.”

He sets his newest son down onto the floor, planting one of his legs in front of him as the young bot covers his eyes with shaking hands.

I don’t want to hurt them. They’re family too.

Eclipse raises his hand, realizing how badly it shakes as he points it towards Blood Moon.

They’ll kill him.

He doesn’t have any time to decide before a large, clawed hand slams down onto Blood Moon, ripping them off of Rays and dragging them over the side of the stage, sending them cascading into the ball pit below.

     Y/n smiled back at him and turned to pour him his drink. She was beginning to think he didn’t even leave town with how often he was in the tavern. Not that she complained too much. Y/n preferred having him there till the last call rather than other patrons. Chan was very respectful every time he was passing through. Though nowadays it seemed like he lived in the town.

     “How have you been since I was last here?” Chan asked as she set the mug down in front of him.

     “Better. Thank you for chasing off my ex last time. I appreciated it.”

     Y/n had broken up with her ex about a week before the last time Chan was in town. He had been harassing her at her home and work to get back with him. It honestly terrified her and her boss tried doing something about it but it didn’t seem to work. The last time Chan was in the tavern, she told him about the breakup and the harassment when said ex did show up at the bar. He came in yelling at her and accusing her of things she hadn’t done. Hello I see you are succumbing to the Ace Attorney Brainrot TM. If Harrow is Edgeworth, then presumably Gideon is Phoenix. Does that make the very bad teens or Palamedes her court-assigned weird little girl?

WELL, thank you for asking!!! You might just live to regret it.

The main connection is really Harrow 🤝 Edgeworth: I only think I killed my own father daddy issues, and that special kind of dorky tsundere approach to relationships. "Thanks to you, I am saddled with.... unnecessary feelings." vs. "[You were born so attractive] because everyone would have throttled you within the first five minutes otherwise," ect.

Then, of course, there's the counterpart of Gideon 🤝 Phoenix: "All books are basically the same size, right?" vs. "I tried to read a law book, and it made my head hurt. Then I dropped it, and it made my foot hurt." A sarcastic internal monologue that rarely becomes external, a drive to help others boarding on the self-destructive. And, of course, so desperate for a certain someone's attention, they'd switch career paths and life's ambition rather than be ignored. If some spoilers I've seen for later AA games are to be believed, they also both get the depression and hole themselves up in response to the world's overwhelming shittiness. 😔

So! To finally answer your actual question, Gideon's court appointed weird girl could go two ways:

1) Jeannemary and Isaac assigned baby siblings at crime scene when Gideon's mentor, Abigail, is murdered.

2) Completely change the dynamic, and Camilla is the "assistant" who herds Gideon around, gives her hints in court, and is occasionally possessed by Gideon's kind and wise mentor, Palamedes. I think I like this one better because Abigail never actually met Gideon, and making her Mia is trading solely on her psychopomp cred. Palamedes and Gideon had a connection. She trusted him. And Camilla standing trial for Palamedes' murder is so juicy.

I think that's about as far as I can take it. Slotting the rest of the characters into the Phoenix Wright setting would mostly take writing entirely new mysteries.

Unless.....

Pyrrha should be high up in the police force, but she's no Gant. If John isn't Von Karma, he could be Gant as a different breed of genial monster with a taste for the grandiose. Ianthe has potential as Lana—extremely unhelpful, in over her head, and trying to protect her sister.

Even when Karma is pretty friendly it isn't too easy to get to be a close friend with him (specially at first when he was being bratty and prideful), however when Karma finally consider you a close friend you two will have a really stronge bond

Karma doesn't discriminate for gender or appearance, when you two become friends you become like his partner in crime and will be draging you around on his antics (if you let him of course), he could be a pretty rude friend but only if you feel comfortable with it, if it not he will be more calm and gentle (well, as gentle as Karma can be)

Karma is really smart and observant so it won't go unoticed for him your clear interested in girls, he respect your privacy but as your friends he has the right to pry a little (or at least that is what he says), he will be asking you about it indirectly, like asking you what you think of some guys or girls in class (or even the teachers) and will put a lot of attention to your reaction

If you seem uncomfortable or really shy with the topic he will stop and try to approach the topic in more indirect ways (because he isn't going to give up on this topic), but if you don't take it too bad or even are playful with it that will just make him insist more and more in the topic (more teasing and jokes, even if you end up being embarrassed)

Karma can be all the caotic he want but he knows when to be serious and knows how to keep a secret, so is probably he tell you this and that you can rely on him when he notice you being in troubles or he start to be irritated for you not trusting on him with something like this

When you finally open up to him about being lesbian he tells you that he already knew with a proud smile, saying that you were really obvious (even if isn't true, he will reasure you after laughing a little for it). Karma asure you that there is nothing wrong on you liking girls is your problem to deal with not his, he is completely supportive and this isn't going to change your friendship

Well, that is a lie because your relationship change a little, just in the fact that now he is teasing you with girls (instead of boys), specially when you show interest in someone, he tells you to go for it between jokes and a teasing tone

Karma can be a little protective with his friends so he defenitly will stand up for you if someone say something bad about you for liking girls (he will never lose the chance to mess with someone who deserve it anyways)

Tomohito Sugino

Sugino is always really friendly to everyone, he is cheerful most of the time so it isn't dificult to be able to approach to him neither to become a close friend with him, and when it happen it becomes caring and a little clingy, he likes spending time with you so why he shouldn't?

Sugino doesn't mind much that you are a girl, that isn't important for him to become friends! However Sugino is really caring so he may try to be more gentle and careful with you from time to time (for being a girl), but he will stop if you tell him (or when you improve in Karasuma classes, he feels more comfortable knowing that there is no risk of you getting hurt, not like he underestimated you)

Is more probably that Sugino doesn't notice that you like girls by his own, and even if he get the idea he prefers to don't think on that since is your privacy, however he sometimes talks with you about love and romance, is not a secret that he likes Kanzaki but he will like to know if you like someone, so he will ask you in a friendly way (and excited too)

Sugino would notice your interest in girls, but then again he doesn't want to asume since he will feel like he is invading your privacy, so he tries to tell himself that you are just having girls time. Also, he could tell that you aren't romantically atracted to non of your classmates, but he doesn't pry on it (is probably that one of his friends already told him that the boys of Class 3-E aren't the most attractive, let alone when they have Karasuma)

Sugino always tells you that you can count on him whenever you are having troubles or need help with anything (even if is academics, he isn't the best but he is willing to help) and for his attitude is pretty easy to trust in him

When you finally open up to him about you being lesbian he is a little shocked but, at the same time he isn't too surprised, he ask you if you really like girls like trying to make sure he had heard you right, and when you confirm it he repeat it to himself before smiling at you, putting an arm around your shoulders in a friendly manner he asure you that is alright, he likes girls too

This doesn't change your friendship or anything, and will reasure you that (but if you feel insecure or shy he tells you that is completely alright, is just who you are and he accept you for who you are), he cheerish for you to find love but hope you don't become his rival on trying to win Kanzaki's heart

Ryoma Terasaka

It could be a little difficult to become Terasaka's friend since he normally just have a few close friends, specially at first for how reclulant he was about accepting the change that Class 3-E was suffering for Koro-sensei influence, however it isn't imposible to get to be his friends, and when you two start being friends it grows a stronge bound with you, immediatly included in their little group and being dragged around to everything

Terasaka doesn't mind much you gender, however he tries to go more easy on you, he can be pretty violent in a friendly manner but since you are a girl he tries to don't be so physicaly agressive with you (unless you tell him that you are perfectly fine with that, even so it would take him a while get used to it)

Terasaka is the type to be teasing you for a lot of things, in that group of friends he is the most that is joking around and teasing with personal things, even with romantic interest (even when you aren't interested romantically in anyone, a little interest is enough for him to tease you, being followed by Yoshida and Muramatsu), still isn't too probably that will notice that you are just romantically interested in girls (is even more probably that is Hazama or even Itona who notice it)

Even when he doesn't say it out loud you know that you can count on him for everything, he isn't perfect and he can have a little patience or get frustrated easily but that doesn't mean he won't help you if you need it or support you

The moment you open up to him about you being lesbian he is a little shocked and looks at you dumbfounded, this isn't something he was expecting to even to hear and doesn't really know how to react, so after a little awkward and nervous moment he just give up in frustration and speak his mind off, telling you that the fact that you just like girls doesn't matter to him, you are his friend and that is all that matters

He doesn't show how this bug his mind in reality, in that moment he just tried to reasure you that is okay and that he doesn't see anything bad about it but when you go away he still can't stop thinking on it, you probably trust in him a lot to tell him so important to you (specially if you aren't too open with those topics) or wondering if someone had say something bad about you for this in the past, he is just thinking too much about this

Terasaka is flustered for you trusting on him with this and embarrassed by his reaction when you told him, so the next days he will try to tell you indirectly that he complety support you and that this isn't going to change the way he sees you or anything

When he gets used to and isn't embarrassed by the topic anymore he will casually bring it to the conversation as jokes, now teasing you with a lot of girls (instead of boys how he used to do)

Hiroto Maehara

For his friendly and carefree attitude isn't too difficult to get close to Maehara, he is still pretty popular and easy to get along with so from the start he treat you as a friend, however as the time pass and you two become closer Maehara grows a little more clingy, just the type of friend who drag you around in their little mischiefs

Maehara doesn't discriminate for the gender, he tries to be a calm and respect your space since you are woman and his friend (aside for the casual playful flirting), but if you don't have problem with being more touchy (but still respectful) and a little rude with you (and since all Class 3-E is getting Karasuma's training he knows you are stronge) he will be totally up for it

Maehara is the type to be doing jokes and teasing you constantly (even you two would have your inside jokes if you are the playful and joker type), and your love life isn't going to be free from the jokes, he is paying attention because he wants to support you with jokes if you ever fall in love, so is very probably that he himself end up finding your atraction for women but he won't say nothing for a while, not wanting to asume or invade your privacy

Maehara can be doing a lot of jokes all the time but there are times when he gets soft and show you that side of him that cares a lot for you, reminding you that he will be with you through thick and thin, supporting you as the amazing friend he is no matter what

When you finally open up to him about you being lesbian he just smiles at you before telling you that he already knew it, jokinly braging about what kind of friend he will be if he doesn't know something so important for his friend

When he is done with the joking Maehara reasure you that is fine, you being atracted to girls isn't something that will change your friendship or the way he see you, he doesn't see anything bad on it is something more you two share

Your friendship continue as always, but since that day Maehara is talking more about girls, asking you who you think is the prettier or sexiest one as the little pervert he is or if there is one girl that you like, he is just so curious and he does it with the excuse of wanting to be supportive over you (even when he is joking you know he does it with good intentions)

If someone ever tries to talk bad about you for being lesbian Maehara is immediatly by your side, immediatly standing up for you, he will never let anyone mess with his friend let alone for something so stupid like judging you for who you are atracted to
