It's another colossal #NFL playoff weekend. But I am enjoying tonight's #VinylAndBeerSunday. Released 50 years ago, BAND ON THE RUN provided convincing evidence that PAUL MCCARTNEY would have a solo career after the Fab Four. I remember having the 45 of the title track relentlessly playing on my portable record player. It's a solid album from top to bottom with the title tune, Jet, Ninehundred and Eightyfive, and (my favorite) Let Me Roll It. We were able to catch Sir Paul perform in Seattle, WA, last May. And the highlight for me was when he performed Let Me Roll It. My beer tonight is an excellent collab with EQUILIBRIUM BREWERY and EVIL TWIN BREWING. Their EVEN LESS HOLY is a massive Imperial IPA with pineapple, hops, and a smooth honey finish. Impressive. So...what are you listening to?
