My sciatica is still acting up, and I'm trying to limit my medication.
Anyway I suddenly decide that I can't take it no more for today so I get up, take an anti-inflammatory medication, put it in my mouth and then I suddenly got hit by the fact that I'm currently with an empty stomach. I spat it out immediately. Won't add stomach aches on the top of everything.
Anyway, remember to eat something when you're taking anti-inflammatory medication 🙏

↳ CHAPTER TWO
PAIRING: Randall Carpio x June Sutton (OC) SUMMARY: In her first year at Belgrave University, June somehow goes from having a little crush on her RA to hiding in supply closets and sneaking around with him. And later finds herself a little in over her head, once a mysterious book leads her down a path she can't un-walk. CHAPTER THEMES: N/A CHAPTER WORD COUNT: 1.2k
⇢ MASTERLIST
Sifting through random notes and notebooks, flicking through the endless pages of her heavy textbooks, June was sat on the small carpet of the small floor space in their room. Luckily June had the room to herself for a little, seeing as Georgie was flying home for the weekend. June wondered who had that kind of money for such a spur of the moment trip home, but then remembered which university she was attending. So with her roommate gone, June could make as much mess with her miles of notes and piles of books as she pleased, with papers organised in an odd system only she knew how to navigate. And also play her music louder than she usually could. Distracted by all the things around her and fixated on organising her notes, June had kind of lost track of time and before she knew it, it was dark outside. And before she had a moment to think about her grumbling stomach, there was a loud knock on the door. June jumped to her feet and rushed to open the door. When she opened her door to see him there was a wide smile on her face, one he usually returned. But with her pissed off next door neighbours arms-crossed and angry behind him, Randall had expression on his face she could only describe as unimpressed. June’s smile turned into a confused flat line. “Hey, what’s up?” She asked cautiously. Randall sighed and stepped past her and into the room, careful to not step on the mess on the floor, and closed her laptop, shutting off the music. “Noise complaint.” He said coldly. June looked at the smug faces on the girls outside the door. “It’s Friday.” June said, becoming growingly irritated. “Yes, that’s also what I said, but they’re within their rights to complain.” He explained. “So, what? Is this just a warning?” “No.” One of the girls from outside chimed. Randall shook his head. “It’s just a warning. Make a habit of it and I’ll have to write you up.” He said while making his way back to the door. “Just keep it down.” June nodded. “Okay.” She said, and once he was out the door she pushed it shut before he could say anything else. He turned to the two girls and they thanked him, June still being able to hear them now her room was silent. She rolled her eyes and pulled out headphones, instead playing her music through those. Something irritated her about the exchange, especially since her music wasn’t even that loud. Especially not for six o’clock at night on a Friday. June wasn’t unreasonable and had sat through plenty of their noise, which made her all the more annoyed. Suddenly feeling grumpy and agitated, June flopped onto her bed, interrupted by a hardcover book digging into her back. She sat up and pulled the book out from underneath her, ready to drop it on the stack of books on the floor, but feeling the patterned leather cover of the book as opposed to the glossy covers of her textbooks, her stomach dropped. “What the fuck?” she asked to no one in particular. This was that book, the one she’d found outside before. How was it here? Who did it belong to? All questions with no one to ask them to. But it was still oddly entrancing, still pulling her to flip the pages, to hold it. And unconsciously, she did. One page after another, all contents unintelligible and foreign. If she looked hard enough it felt like what seemed to be words, would continuously shift. Like the book didn’t want to be read. Before she could totally freak herself out with the weird teleporting book, her phone buzzed on her bedside table.
Randall: Hey
June: hi
Randall: Sorry about that, just being an RA Randall: One that isn’t sleeping with a resident… You’re not pissed right?
June: i’m not pissed, just being a resident... that isn’t sleeping with her RA June: tell me honestly, was my music THAT loud?
Randall: Could have been quieter…
June: damn, okay
Randall: I’d like to see them live next to my neighbors tho Randall: Super loud and always yelling at kids in COD
June: oof, not ideal at all June: hey btw did u leave this weird book in my room?
Randall: Sorry, wasn’t me Randall: Hey can you open your door n maybe not slam it in my face this time??
June: depends on who’s there? you or the RA who isn’t sleeping with his resident?
Before he could type out a response she opened the door and pulled him inside. She closed the door behind her and pulled him close to her. She gave him a short kiss before pulling back and ducking away to tidy some of the papers and books scattered everywhere. “So, what’s this visit for?” she asked, speedily clearing the floor and having everything in a neat pile to toss on her desk. The heavy books thumped on the desk beside her laptop. “Wanted to know if you were hungry.” He said, lifting the bag of takeaway she didn’t notice he’d been holding. She smiled. “Wow. Kind of inappropriate though, considering you're my RA.” June joked.
June and Randall sat on her floor, eating takeaway nachos from the Blade & Chalice, chatting in low voices, making sure not to cause another ‘disturbance’. He would say something amusing and she would laugh softly, and he would smile watching her. She had caught it a few times, feeling a little shy when she'd catch his eye. Although their relationship with largely physical and they didn't get many chances to be intimate in other ways, this felt really comfortable and pleasant. She really enjoyed his company, sitting together and talking and Randall loved all forms of intimacy, the physical kind especially, but there was something he loved about getting to know someone, finding the little quirks that make them all the more interesting. “Do you like studying medicine?” June asked, genuinely curious. Randall took a second to think about it. “Yeah. It’s interesting, kind of fun in a way.” He said, “Learning how the body works together and in sync, it’s fascinating.” June nodded her head. “That does sound interesting. My mom’s a nurse, she wanted me to also study nursing but…” “You’d be good at it.” He said quietly. “Hmm?” She noticed his own words had caught him off guard, but had a gut feeling about it. Randall hadn’t been looking at her but did once silence fell. “I don’t know. I just get this feeling that you’d be good at it.” His phone rings his mildly obnoxious ringtone, and he picks it up. Muffled voices she can’t make out and his short replies. She assumed it was something private, and chose not to pry. He hung up and looked to June. “Sorry to leave like this, but I gotta go.” He stood and she followed, to politely walk him the very short distance to the door. “Don’t sweat it, I.. I’ll see you soon?” She asked, regretting it a little, afraid she had sounded… clingy? But that fear subsided when he gave her a smile, one in which she returned. “I hope so.”

Survey #234
“don’t take care of me - be scared of me.”
Does it bother you when people beg? I mean, it depends on the consistency, intensity, and the subject. Do you ever eat cookie dough raw? I have, but salmonella will punish me some day. Are you one of those people who are always cold? I am the exact opposite. When was the last time you rode a rollercoaster? Pf, never. Don't want to. Do you like hot dogs? I hate the fact that I love them lol. Do you have any weird rings? I wouldn't consider any "weird," no. Have any bad addictions? Ugh, caffeine. Are you anything like your siblings? I am very, very different from my two immediate sisters. Ma says I'm extremely similar to Katie, my half-sister, though it's odd because we don't seem to agree on very much? I don't even think she likes me. When was the last time you shaved your legs? Literally not since like... February. It's not like anybody but family sees my legs anyway. It's just stupid societal expectations for a woman, and I've never been prone to obeying those to begin with. Do you like long bike rides? I used to LOVE riding my bike when I lived in the woods/by an almost-dead road, but I haven't that in... god, years. I don't even have that bike anymore. My knees would never, EVER survive riding one right now. Do you know someone who is blind? My sister is in one eye, but I can't remember which. Do you have a YouTube account? how else would I like every Mark video in existence and I wish I was kidding?????????????? How many cell phones have you had? No clue. Not many. Maybe like, four or so. When was the last time something bothered you? Yesterday 'cuz I was getting weird fuckin phone calls. Do you ever try free samples at the store? Sure, if they seem like something I'd like. Can you speak French or Spanish? No. What school year do you think will be/was the saddest? 8th. Anxiety and depression were getting bad, puberty was A Thing, confused about life in general and why all this sadness and fear was happening to me. Do you like boys with long hair? I mean this depends on the person, but in general, yes. I think I prefer it over shorter, in most cases. Have you ever had plum juice? No, but that sounds decent. If I can even remember what a plum tastes like... I loved them as a kid, haven't had one in like, years. Have you ever passed out? Once, almost twice not long after the first time. Was today someones birthday that you know? No. Have you drank any water today? A little bit. When was the last time you had a crowd at your house? Holy shit. Probably not since we MOVED here in '17. Are you worried about anything right now? When aren't I at least a bit worried about something, really. Are you keeping anything from your best friends right now? No. Do you currently have any mosquito bites? Not currently. A- blood, hell yeah man. Do you have Twitter? Yes. Literally to like. um. one somebody's stuff. If you found out you were pregnant, who would you tell? God FUCKING forbid. Obviously my family. Sara. If it was from consensual sex, I'd tell friends eventually. If it was, uh, any other way, probably not EVEN some family because there are some that would probably never speak to me again if I got an abortion. Is your driveway stone or pavement? Stone. Have you ever caught something on fire? Yeah. Y'know, s'mores, sparklers, wood when making a bonfire or something. Regular stuff. How many people have you kissed in a car? One or two. Idr if Sara and I ever have. Do you and your best friend have an inside joke? "buzzfeed" Do you have a gym membership? Not anymore. How long was your last shower? Not even ten minutes. Get clean and get out. What is your favorite color fingernail polish? I think red tends to be the prettiest. If you had to get a tattoo, what would it be of? Man, don't ask me this. I have a billion ideas. If I had the money for it though, I'd probably finally get this (Denialism) as a tat on my left upper arm next. It's like, my favorite drawing ever, and I've already gotten the artist's permission. What is the best fast food place, in your opinion? Sonic has had my heart lately. What is your favorite eye color in the opposite sex? I just generally like vibrant and/or light blue eyes, but I really don't care about someone's eye color. What is your mom’s maiden name? Yeah, let's share that on the Internet. Would you rather receive balloons or flowers for valentine’s day? Flowers. Balloons are nothing but waste and wind up as litter anyway. Have you ever been to Chicago? Once, with Sara and her dad. At night. And the lights and cars and shops and towers and everything was too much for my rural ass. I'm not a city person, but because it was SO different and just incredible in scope and all, I still thought it was absolutely beautiful and so exciting. Would you rather sleep on the top bunk or bottom bunk? Bottom. When my sister and I were little and shared a room though, I almost always had the top bunk. As I got older though, that inverted. Have you ever had a secret admirer that left you notes? I THINK Aaron did once, but I can't remember for sure. Are you close with your cousins? No. Are you close to any aunts or uncles? Not especially, but only because, like my cousins, I pretty much never see them. Are you close to your grandparents? All but one is dead, and that one is dying. When was the last time you had a slurpee? I’m wary of 7-11 hygiene so I’ve never actually had a Slurpee. Doesn’t sound all that appetizing to me either anyway. What is your favorite television show? My gold standard for TV shows is Breaking Bad. Friends is also a big favorite. I liked The Walking Dead but only until around season 6. What holiday will be coming up next? It’s actually a holiday today which is why I could stay in and take a survey - it’s Eid'l Fitr, which is the last day of Ramadan for the Muslim community in the country. Please correct me if I’m wrong, though! Have you ever done hard drugs before? Nope. Never. What is the worst name anyone has ever called you? ...Ungrateful? Heartless? Slow? Choose your fighter.
What color are your eyes? Dark brown. What does the last text you sent say? “Thank you” When was the last time you cried out loud in front of someone? Wednesday had been a pretty rough day. Where is your favorite place to eat out? No particular restaurant stands out, but my friends and I usually eat out in the mall since all the choices are there and it’s the best place to hang out in general after school. Does it bother you when people call you 'ma'am' or 'sir?' No, not really bother but I just feel icky as it reminds me that I’m getting older by the day. Have you ever been obsessed with a television character? MONICA GELLER. Maggie Greene. Lori Grimes. Skylar White. Chandler Bing. I’ve had my fair share of TV crushes here and there. Do you ever wish you had powers of invisibility? Sometimes, yeah. My first superpower of choice belongs to time travel, though. What was the last thing that changed your life completely? I was appointed as the vice president for internal affairs for my org. That’s definitely going to fuck with my schedule and routine for the next year. Do you have any step siblings? I don’t. Did you partake in senior skip days? I’m not sure what that means, is that an American high school culture thing? Do you have Showtime? Nope. Probably another Western thing. When was the last time you went to Wal-mart? :) :) :) Have you ever read the Christian Bible? Unfortunately. I had to read it everyday for 14 years. Is there anything you'd like to say to anyone at the moment? Nope, I’m good. Do you tend to cry a lot? Yes I do tend to get emotional. Crying is an easy way to go. When the holidays come around, do you help decorate? Sometimes, but there are times that my mom goes ahead with putting up the Christmas tree. I have no problem with that. Would you ever consider having an abortion? Personally, I’d only reserve that option for the most extreme of cases, aka only if it’s a life-threatening situation for either me or the baby, or for both of us. What does the majority of clothes in your closet look like? Black and fit. Has someone ever promised not to leave you? Yes. Do you have a part-time job? I don’t. Do you order clothing offline quite often? I always get my clothes physically, in the stores themselves. Are you the type of person who likes to buy gifts for your friends? Just for my girlfriend, so no not really. I totally would if I had the money; my friends are everything and deserve everything. Have you ever lived in an apartment before? Never. Have you ever been questioned by the police? No. I stay out of that. In which state/country were you born? The Philippines. Are you close to your parents? I’m more open with my dad as he’s ~hipper~ in a lot of ways compared to my mom, but I'm not ridiculously close to him. Definitely not close with my mom. Have you ever had to be put on medicine for a mental disorder? No but that’s because I’ve never gotten myself checked or diagnosed. I would not be surprised if I ended up needing meds anyway. Would you say you have impressive grammar skills? I guess. White chocolate or milk chocolate? I love either kind.
Have you ever been to an amusement park out of state? Yeah, also ones out of country. Does your television connection ever go out during your favorite show? LMAOOOO did the universe send me to this survey? This literally just happened to Gabie an hour ago when she was halfway through her show’s season finale. Tragic. This has never happened to me though; my cable stayed kind to me whenever I’d watch Wrestlemania or when I used to still watch The Walking Dead. Would you rather be part of a team or alone? Depends on the work. Do you have a Tumblr? I’m using it right now. Do you ever eavesdrop on people in hallways? Sometimes, if it’s interesting enough. And I also do it just for funsies. I don’t care for it and usually forget about whatever I hear in the next half hour. Have you ever been punched in the stomach? Most likely by my siblings when we were kids. Is there anyone you'd like to be cuddling with at the moment? That’d be perfect.
Would you consider yourself a crafty person? Hell no. There is actually nothing creative about me. What would you say is your favorite color of all time? Black or pastel pink. I can’t choose just one :/ Chinese or Mexican food? Chinese. What do you normally drink when eating at a fast food restaurant? Water. I don’t drink softdrinks, and I’m scared of fastfood milkshakes, if they do make them. Do you have a crush on anyone at the moment? Sure, I crush on Gab everyday. Is there something important that you should be doing as of now? Yeah I have some org tasks to organize but I’m putting them off since they’re easy to start on anyway and it’d be fine if I work on them later. Have you ever participated in Black Friday shopping? No, we don’t have that here. Describe your favorite outfit? I have numerous favorite outfits but I do take likings to little black dresses, off-shoulder tops, and culottes. What color are your nails painted right now, if any? They are never painted. Have you ever been responsible for someone's death? Wow this is fucking heavy. No. What is your biggest fear? Not ending up as rich as I expect myself to be. Miscarrying. My dog dying. Coming up with a sucky thesis. Needles and cockroaches. I have quite a lot... What is your favorite website to go on in your spare time? Reddit or YouTube. What do you normally order when you go to Taco Bell? Taco Bell isn’t really my go-to fast food so I’m not so familiar with their menu. I think I’d most likely get a burrito though. Do you ever spend the night with your significant other? Usually when I’m too drunk to drive, yes. What is your favorite number? I don’t do favorite numbers but when I’m asked I always just say 23 or 4. Do you know a lot about serial killers? A concerning amount, but that’s just only because I’m genuinely interested in the topic of serial killers. Has your life ever been challenged by something huge? Yeah - I think that’s the whole point of choosing which university to be admitted to and taking competitive entrance exams for each. Have the police ever been looking for you? No. Where do you get most of your accessories from? I have very few accessories. Have you ever been in a car accident? Yep. With me driving, I’ve been in two. Do you cuss more than anyone else you know? Nah, some are worse. When was the last time you kissed someone who was younger than you? Does a month younger count? I kissed Gab last Wednesday. How old is your youngest cousin? As far as I know, the youngest one is 3. Are you currently in a happy relationship? Sure am. Where did your last kiss take place and at what time of day? Evening; in her car before she drove off. How do YOU download music? I don’t. I listen on Spotify. Do you tend to talk on the phone a lot? No, I only usually take calls from my girlfriend. Have there ever been any serial killers around your hometown? Not recently...I think? When was the last time you went to a museum? Around two to three weeks ago. Is heartbreak as bad as it sounds? It is. And then some. What was your first job? Never had a job. What is the weather like outside? It’s more humid than usual, so meh. Do you ever find yourself talking to someone who isn't even there? Talking to myself, sure. Do you normally have nightmares or good dreams? Weird ones mostly. What do people compliment you on the most? Face, work ethic, and body. Are you jealous of any of your friends? Sure. And envious. I’m pretty insecure. Are you more of an open person or closed to communication? I’m shy, but I’m not closed off when directly asked a question. I answer anything thrown to me, which is probably unhealthy at times but I can’t help it. Do you know how to shoot a gun and hit a target? Not at all! I’ve never even held a gun. Are you a good listener? Yes. I’m really more of a listener to begin with. What is your favorite drink? ...Tequila? What is something you always tend to lose? Pens. Do you buy more things for yourself or others? Myself. I only ever have enough money for myself, but my friends deserve so much more honestly. If you chew gum, which kind is your favorite? I love any type of gum. Is there anyone you know in which you'd like to simply punch in the face? Fucking Duterte. Do you like listening to foreign music? Not really. What turns you on the most? Gab. Have you ever kissed someone of the same sex? See above.

Sick love
Word count: 1.722
Request: Yes
Warnings: Too much loving
“My head is pounding”, you whined and you swore it was like ten axes were inside your skull and wanted you dead in a matter of seconds. It was the worst headache you’ve ever had and you didn’t have the slightest idea why it was like that. You weren’t hangover. On the contrary, you had a blissful night in with your boyfriend, and nothing peculiar had happened for you to feel that way. So, this situation only left you with unanswered questions.
“Still bad?”, your sister asked you and you flinched at the volume of her voice. She was speaking naturally, but your headache made it feel like she was shouting at the top of her lungs.
“Please keep your voice down, you are killing me”, you said and your sister got up to touch your forehead. With that simple gesture she had her answers.
“Well, it looks like you are coming down with a cold Y/N”, she said seriously and you shivered. You hated being sick and that was the last thing you wanted. It was still summer and you would spend your days drinking that prescribed syrup along with eating those disgusting soups. Apart from that, you didn’t want to force Harry to stay in with you. He would like to go out or have a nice time at the park but he would have to take care of nauseas and fevers. It was just unfair for him.
“No this can’t be happening”, you complained and your sister placed her hands on her hips. She was trying not to laugh at your state but she didn’t do a good job at hiding it. She burst out giggling and you threw a cushion at her, hitting her directly at the head.
“I guarantee you it hurt”, your sister ironically said and she went to the kitchen. She had to leave in some minutes but she couldn’t leave you behind like that all alone. So she phoned Harry.
“Harry speakin’, who’s this?”, he said through the speaker and your sister whispered.
“Hi Harry, it’s me, Y/S/N. Just wanted to let you know that Y/N might be coming down with a cold. She already has a fever and-“, she was interrupted by you screaming that you wanted to vomit and she corrected her previous sentence.
“Scratch that. She has a fever and she has started vomiting already. I have to go in some minutes so I thought I needed to fill you in”, your sister finished and she heard shuffling at the other end of the line.
“Be right there in five. Try to calm her a bit yeah? Thank yeh Y/S/N”, he said and hung up. Your sister came into the bathroom, where you were brushing your teeth, to get rid of the ugly taste.
“Thank God mom is not here”, your sister joked and your eyes widened at her statement. Your mom overreacted over the simplest of things. When you or your sister were ill, she would just call the doctor every single hour to inform him of your condition and she made sure you had all the medicine you needed. You appreciated her caring, but it would be too much sometimes.
“Don’t even joke about it. It is unhealthy”, you wiped your mouth with the towel and followed your sister in the living room where you both sat down on the couch.
“Y/N, I really need to go. Jason wants to go pick up a gift for his mother’s birthday and I can’t miss it. Promise me you won’t go around spilling soup”, she pleaded and you flipped her off.
“I will be dead in a matter of hours so no soup is going to be all over the place”, you answered and your sister sighed. You had the tendency to overreact when you were sick and no one could handle that. Your sister included.
“Okay I am going to start preparing your funeral then”, and that had always been her answer since day one. You and your sister had a weird kind of relationship. You would go on and compliment each other but you would flip each other off whereas when you would offend each other you would hug and bro fist one another. People were always confused.
“Say hi to Jason”, you tried to say before rushing to the bathroom to empty your stomach for the second time that day.
“Be sure I will”, your sister said more to herself than to you and got into her car, ready to go meet her boyfriend. Speaking of a boyfriend, Harry was on his way and he had tried to contact you but you hadn’t used your phone that day meaning it was still turned off. When he stepped foot in the house, he stopped himself from calling your name when he saw you curled up on the sofa, tissues all over you and your restless face giving away your exhaustion and pain.
“Meh poor girl”, he said and kicked off his shoes before making his way to you. You had grabbed a blanket from your room and had it wrapped around you. You were practically like a sneezing ball. Your head perked up at the sound of the door opening and closing and when you saw Harry, you snuggled closer to the blanket.
“Don’t get closer Harry, you will be sick too”, you cried out, but your voice came out muffled because of the blanket. Harry kept coming towards you nonetheless and he kneeled in front of you.
“This isn’t gonna stop meh love. How many times have yeh run to the bathroom?”, he softly asked you and you melted at his voice. He was trying to soothe you and it worked pretty well.
“Twice so far. But there’s more coming I tell you”, you said and leaned your head backwards. You wanted to sleep and Harry quite caught that.
“Okay tell yeh what. I will go upstairs and ran yeh a bath. Yeh will relax and I will call the doctor to tell meh what to do with meh sick girl. Sounds okay?”, he said and he picked you up bridal style. You found the opportunity to lean against his warm chest and breathe in his scent. You could stay there, in his arms, for an eternity and there was no lie in this statement.
When you entered your bedroom, he gently placed you on the bed, and he disappeared in the bathroom to set the right temperature for your bath. You placed your head on your pillow and sleep started taking over when Harry reappeared from inside the bathroom and scooped you up.
“No sleep yet baby. Your bath is waitin’ fo’ yeh”, he said and placed you in front of the bathroom door.
“Yeh go in there and treat yourself whereas I talk to the doctor alright?”, he turned to leave but you stopped him. You knew it would be better if he was there to take care of you. He always did. And he was so good at it.
“Mind if I change the plans a bit?”, you innocently asked and Harry grinned.
“Tell meh babygirl”, he indicated for you to go on.
“Why don’t you take a shower with me? If there’s someone who can calm me, that’s you Harry”, you spoke and you were truthful. There was no dirty intention in your proposal. You just wanted to relax with your boyfriend.
“Thought yeh never ask”, he said and slowly took your clothes off, caressing the exposed skin he could find ever so softly, careful not make you feel any more pain. He took his clothes off as well, and got into the bathtub after you. You sat between his legs and he stated kissing your back and neck, in a soothing manner, knowing you would feel slightly better. And he was right. The water was perfect and Harry tried his best to take your mind of off your sickness. He grabbed the shampoo and started massaging your scalp in an attempt to calm you.
“Just what I needed. Thank you so much love”, you said and closed your eyes, cherishing the feeling of Harry’s massaging skills. You started scrubbing your body and Harry snatched the sponge from your hands.
“Nah ah. I will take care of yeh baby. Don’t yeh worry”, he said, kissing your shoulder before he replaced some gel on the sponge. The water was running by now, and you were lost in the purity of the moment. Harry always wanted to make you feel good and he always said it was like a repayment for what you had done for him all along. After some time, he water had run cold so he took hold of your towel before wrapping it lovingly around your tired frame before he did the same with his towel on him.
“Time fo’ pyjamas babe”, he smiled lazily and he moved towards the closet, grabbing an old T-shirt of his and your favourite bottoms with little bears imprinted on them. You had worn your undergarments already and you were waiting for your pyjamas to be passed to you but Harry had other plans.
“Let meh”, he stroked your arms, while he placed your arms in front of you and put the shirt on you. He then, stroked your thighs and legs gently, like you were going to disappear or like you were the most fragile thing in the entire world. He made you feel loved. There was no denying in that. When he was done, he kissed you passionately but you distanced yourself.
“Harry, I am sick!”, you said and he smiled.
“Did that stop meh back in the shower? Don’t mind meh love. I am not that sensitive like yeh are”, he said and you tugged at his shirt.
“If that’s the case, cuddle me then”, you said and yawned. Harry placed himself on the bed and you hugged him tightly, while he played with your hair; just like you preferred it.
“I love you Harry”, you suddenly said and Harry smiled in your hair.
“I love meh sick girl too”.
And just like that, you fell asleep, feeling secure in his embrace and wishing that you could freeze time and stay like that for what seemed like forever; in each others’ loving arms.
Ugh guys, this is so sweet. Where has Harry been all the times I was ill? Before I drag my whining ass away, let me thank that person for requesting this and making me die in the most gentle way possible. Requests are still open and I am waiting for your crazy ideas people! (P.S. Harry is treating us so well lately I can’t bear it!)

Milking It, and Totty? :>
Thank you for the prompt! And what an absolutely fitting scenario for Todomatsu, I enjoyed writing this haha. Hope you enjoy!
———-
“Choromatsuuuu,” Todomatsu moaned, trying to make his voice sound as pitiful as possible. It wasn’t hard–his throat was so raw and sore he could barely speak, his voice squeaking out as a weak, raspy whisper instead. “Can you check my temperature? I think my fever is back.”
Choromatsu leaned in closer to Todomatsu, frowning slightly as he pressed his hand against Todomatsu’s forehead. “You do feel pretty warm again…”
“I think he’s faking it,” Ichimatsu quipped as Choromatsu reached for the thermometer on the table in front of the couch. He was curled up in the corner of the room, a flu mask obscuring his face and a cat curled up in his lap, purring lazily as he stroked it.
Choromatsu shot him a quizzical look as he placed the thermometer under Todomatsu’s tongue. “How can he fake strep throat? The doctor already confirmed that’s what it is.”
“It’s Todomatsu we’re talking about. He’s good at lying.”
“I think we can give him the benefit of the doubt this time.” After a minute the thermometer beeped, and Choromatsu removed it from Todomatsu’s mouth and checked the display screen. “It’s pretty high, though not as bad as before. It’s almost time for you to take your medicine again, anyway. I’ll get it for you as soon as Karamatsu finishes making lunch, since you need to eat when you take it, okay?”
“Alright.” Todomatsu couldn’t help but smile to himself a little as he sank back against his pillow and wrapped his blanket more snugly around himself. He absolutely hated being sick, and he thought it unfair that even though he was the one to take the most precautions against catching anything, he was the one to wind up with strep throat. But it was proving not to be the worst thing in the world. His coworkers at the coffee shop had been sympathetic and understanding when he’d called in sick for the next few days. And his brothers, although still not the kindest creatures on the planet, were at least taking a stab at caring for him. If he had to be sick, might as well milk it, right?
Well, if they weren’t being inept about it, anyway.
“I’m home!” Osomatsu’s voice rang out from the hallway as he swung open the front door and slammed it shut behind him. Todomatsu winced, his head throbbing. Ugh, why does he always have to be so loud?
Choromatsu glanced up when osomatsu stepped into the living room. “Did you buy the stuff I asked you to get at the store?”
Osomatsu froze. “Um, not exactly.”
“How not?” Choromatsu demanded. “I specifically gave you a list and money to buy what we needed, how did you not get it?”
“Well….” Osomatsu hesitated, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck. “I may have…taken a minute to stop in the pachinko place on the way…”
“Osomatsu, the pachinko place is nowhere near the store I sent you to.” Choromatsu glared harshly at the oldest brother. “So you’re saying you went out of your way to waste the money I gave you just so you could gamble?!?”
“Well when you put it that way, it sounds like a bad thing.”
“It is a bad thing, dumbass!”
“Well, it’s your fault for trusting me with your money!”
“How is it my fault for assuming you could be responsible for ten minutes??”
Ouch. Their screaming match was really taking its toll on Todomatsu’s splitting headache. Fortunately Karamatsu chose that moment to enter the room, carrying the bowl of soup he’d prepared for Todomatsu. Todomatsu caught his eye, giving him a pleading look that clearly begged, “Karamatsu-niisan, please tell these idiots they’re bothering me.”
Karamatsu, though not always the quickest on the uptake, got the message instantly. “My brothers, would you consider moving this argument elsewhere?” he implored, perching on the edge of the couch next to Todomatsu. “You’re disrupting our dear youngest brother’s rest.”
Todomatsu smirked smugly at them.
“Nevermind, I’m going out to shop for myself…but you owe me my money back, Osomatsu,” Choromatsu said coolly, then turned to Todomatsu. “Can I get you anything special? I’m already planning on getting some soup, tea, lozenges…is there anything else you want?”
“Maybe…some magazines?” Todomatsu suggested, trying to sound as pathetic as possible. Might as well drum up some extra sympathy. “Something to read. I’m so bored here…”
“Alright, I’ll see if I can find you anything.” Choromatsu shot one last withering glare at Osomatsu before exiting the room.
Osomatsu just shrugged off the icy look. “Are you doing any better, Totty?” he asked, changing the subject instead.
“Hmm…not really,” Todomatsu responded weakly, reaching up to touch his neck. “My throat hurts a lot…and I’m kind of cold. Do you think you could get me an extra blanket?”
“Sure, sure. I can do that for you, bro.” Osomatsu shot him a thumbs-up before darting out of the room again.
“In the meantime, try eating this.” Karamatsu offered the bowl of soup to Todomatsu. “Allow this to nourish your ailing soul. I’m sure it’ll do the trick.”
Todomatsu would’ve made a comment about Karamatsu making him feel sick to his stomach as well but found himself not wanting to waste the energy. Instead he accepted the soup, and slurped up a small spoonful. “Thank you, nii-san…but it’s awfully hot. I don’t wanna burn my throat when it’s already sore. Could you maybe put a couple ice cubes in it so it cools off faster?” He batted his eyelashes as winningly as possible.
“Of course, dear brother. One moment, I’ll be right back.” Karamatsu carefully took the bowl back and hurried to the kitchen again.
Ahh, they’re so easy to manipulate right now…guess they must really be worried about me. It was satisfying, to say the least, seeing his usually bumbling brothers actually make an effort to take care of him and do as he asked. But maybe it wasn’t out of him manipulating them so much as them genuinely caring about his wellbeing. For a second he felt a slight pang of guilt at making so many requests of them.
But, hey, I’m sick. I deserve it, right?
The day wore on slowly, as days always did when one of the brothers was sick and the general routine was disrupted. Todomatsu stayed home from the bathhouse that night, and while his brothers made their nightly visit there he curled up on the couch and drifted off to sleep, the first deep sleep he’d had since getting sick.
He found himself waking up in the middle of the night, at what he guessed had to be around two or three. The living room was pitch-black, the curtains drawn tightly enough not to let in even a sliver of moonlight. And of course, his brothers had all gone to sleep in their bedroom, where they had each other for company.
Todomatsu shivered, his eyes darting around the room as they struggled to adjust to the darkness. If there was one thing he hated more than being sick, it was being all alone in the dead of night. Realistically, he knew nothing would happen to him…but it still left him feeling vulnerable, and he didn’t want to tempt fate in any way by not being surrounded by his brothers. It wasn’t that he’d trust them to protect him with their lives or anything, but there was safety in numbers.
He contemplated going upstairs and slipping into the futon with them…but surely they’d kick him out, wouldn’t they? None of them wanted to catch strep throat from him, and he couldn’t very well blame them for that. And he was always the one insisting the brothers practically go into solitary confinement should any of them so much as sniffle. He didn’t have a leg to stand on.
Guess I should’ve known that’d bite me in the ass. Ugh.
“Totty?”
Todomatsu had sat up in bed, debating his next move and hating every minute he sat alone in the dark, when a voice at the entrance of the living room made him jump. “O-Osomatsu?” he whispered hoarsely.
“Yeah, it’s me. Had to get up and go to the bathroom,” Osomatsu replied, whispering as well. “What’re you doing awake?”
”I just kind of woke up…and now I can’t go back to sleep. I don’t like being alone…”
“Oh. Well, hey, I can fix that.”
With that Osomatsu disappeared from the doorway, leaving Todomatsu wondering what he was up to. A moment later Osomatsu returned, dragging their spare futon into the living room.
“Here. We can sleep on the floor together. Does that sound better?”
Todomatsu blinked in surprise. “But…aren’t you worried you’re going to get sick from me?”
“Meh.” Osomatsu shrugged. “Not really. I’d rather you get a good night’s sleep when you’re so sick. I’m not really worried about myself.”
Todomatsu hesitated, then slowly joined Osomatsu as he crawled into the futon. Once they were both settled in Osomatsu pulled the blankets snugly up to Todomatsu’s chin and asked, “Better?”
“Yeah…thanks, Nii-san.” Todomatsu yawned, closing his eyes. “Thank you.”
“No sweat, little bro.” Osomatsu stifled his own yawn and shut his eyes, too.
It didn’t take long for Todomatsu to drift back to sleep, now that he had some company. Before he new it, when he next opened his eyes, sunlight was pouring through the now open window and spilling across the futon…wait a minute. The futon was much fuller now than it had been when he’d first fallen asleep. As Todomatsu rubbed the remaining sleep from his eyes, he realized that it was no longer just him and Osomatsu occupying the bed. All of his brothers were there, crushing in close to him, snoring softly as they dozed.
A sudden rush of tears welled up in Todomatsu’s eyes as an unexpected surge of affection swept over him. You idiots…I can’t believe you’re risking getting sick for me. You can be so stupid sometimes…
But he was grinning the whole time he thought it.
