genuinely i think i need to use the Boyfriends comic to talk about Genshin Impact hkjbjnlk
#i've been meaning to make a diatribe on the genshin webtoon for Years and i've done bits and pieces for it recently#and i've been trying to find examples of other comics that do things... Better than that#and now that i happened upon Boyfriends both in print and in webtoon format i can like Directly compare and contrast#even though the genshin manga isn't in print it is formatted on the official site as if it were page-by-page like any other manga#instead of being formatted to webtoon where it's a fully vertical space. and that can be taken advantage of#and as i was doing the comic dubs i noticed some small differences and additions to the comic from initial release to print#cuz i was reading from the book and then taking stuff from the webtoon Afterwards and being like ''wait that's not the same. huh''#but like! that makes for an interesting case and i feel like it would be a good foil to the genshin webtoon#it feels out of pocket a little bit but something is there. i think. it could also just be the brainrot talking jhkjbjkkj#either way i want to note the differences btwn webtoon and print anyway bc i find it interesting to see how differently it was adapted
