Do witch clexa's kids go to magical school where they learn to use their powers or just normal school?

Okay this is technically a ✨️world building✨️ question which I love! :D

The kids go to normal school, much like every other witch for whatever coven does. Both Lexa and Clarke went to normal school, and the covens are fully integrated into non magic society so as not to look suspicious and out of place.

Magical education usually starts at home with the parents, mostly low-level magic to them to practice. Once they can speak they are "initiated" into their covens, usually its the same as their parents as their specific magic is genetic and parents tend to be from the same coven but since Clarke and Lexa belong to different covens, the kids are initiated into the coven that matches their powers, so Trikru for Tara and Skaikru for Cyrus and Ash.

After that, Lexa and Clarke work closer with the kids that match their own witch powers, teaching things more related to their own magic and helping them improve. At age 12, little witches are encouraged to join an apprenticeship to develop their magic in a certain direction. So far, I only have Tara's specialty as she focuses on healing plants with Indra's help :)
