#c: allquest#just the Way that the dm interwined LUC-A and Ed's goals and backstories and created all of This#the fact that LUC-A is the first cleric PC in this gamr that has been going on for Years#and the fact that LUC-A is a FORGE cleric#and here Ed is. original member of the party. an artificer who wants to be a god#and OF COURSE they click and are friends near immediately!#theyre creators. makers who have a connection/need to be divine. and BOTH have been seeking a target. a list.#and then. and then. the DM just Turns our backstories on their heads#LUC-A's target is actually just a broken man being manipulated to create weapons bc the lives of LUC-A and Ed and many others are being#threatened. and so the real enemy is actually ED's list of people who are evil cultists with connections to many things like the police#and then. we learn that Ed is biologically Lucerein's daughter#and that's. the way that the pieces connected before my eyes. the half elf thing. the fact that her eyes turned magma.#even that wild question in my dms on whether or not Lucerein wouldve slept with other ppl and not used protection fhakssnal#like. the way that everything in these past few sessions could only happen bc not only is it a collaborative storytelling game but bc these#ppl Know me and i Know them so we Both know we can make moves like this and play off of each other#the general excitement of what's to come. how the player of Ed wants to Share all her secrets but cant yet#im so glad to be playing dnd with my friends i Missed them
