A Father’s Wrath
Drake glanced down at his watch for probably the fiftieth time since he had been directed to sit down in the too-small chair outside the principal’s office. How dare she call him here on such short notice, claiming that Gosalyn had been ‘causing problems,’ and then make him wait. It was already fifteen minutes after he’d arrived, and well, although he didn’t really have anywhere he needed to be until that evening, it was the principle of the matter.
It was while Drake was still chuckling to himself about his mental pun that she finally opened the door to her office and said, “Mr. Mallard-McQuack, please, come on in.”
Drake shuddered at her sickly sweet voice - it dragged him back to the days when he himself was constantly trapped within the confines of the cinderblock walls of an elementary school. He felt his skin itching, desperately wanting to exit this prison of flashbacks and memories.
“Uhhh,” he looked up at the principal, a formidable heron whose stature rose high above Drake’s own. She was well built - Drake couldn’t help but note that she would have little trouble overpowering Drake Mallard-McQuack. Darkwing Duck would have a few tricks up his sleeve that would leave him on top of the fight, however. Drake steeled himself, willing the words to not just pop out of his mouth. Asking Gosalyn’s principal who she thought would win in a fight was not exactly the way to make a good impression.
“Words are a commodity that we’ve worked very hard to perfect, Mr. Mallard-McQuack. Why don’t we try using some of them?” She smiled down at him with a glint in her eye that Drake felt suggested that she was winning this battle.
“My apologies,” Drake grumbled, staring down at his feet as he walked into the office. He knew that he was only there because of one of Gosalyn’s stunts, but he felt as if he were personally being called up to the principal’s office all over again - out the window went his bravado in the face of someone he couldn’t win a verbal fight against.
“Very well.” Her words were curt, proper, and targeted. She sat down at her desk, straightened out her name plaque, and crossed her arms in front of her, leaning forward to direct her piercing gaze directly at Drake.
“What seems to be the problem, uhhh, Mrs. Strongbill,” Drake asked, glancing down at her nametag afterwards, and hoping with every fiber of his being that he hadn’t said her name wrong. He was in luck, for once, as he did indeed get it right. Hera Strongbill - a formidable name for a formidable foe.
“Well,if both you and your husband could show up for parent-teacher conferences, you’d be in the loop. However, since you neglected to show up last time, and I do believe your husband’s excuse for you was, ‘He is definitely not in the sewers or anything,’ whatever that may mean, I must explain all over again. Your daughter is a bit of a… problem-child.”
“She is not a problem child!” Drake lost all inhibition, standing up from the chair he had been slinking in to slam a finger on the desk as he spoke, “That child has been through more than you ever will, and she deals with things in her own way. Now, I know for a fact that sometimes she gets… carried away, but that doesn’t mean she’s anything less than a genius. Have you seen her grades recently?” His eyes widened. What was he doing? Oh goodness what was he doing? He couldn’t yell at the woman who was in charge of his daughter’s fate…
He looked down at Mrs. Strongbill, who had lit a fire in her eyes as she barked, “Have a seat, Mr. Mallard-McQuack!” Before Drake even had the time to react, he felt his bottom making contact with the seat behind him. “Now, as I was saying before your explosion, your daughter, albeit one of the smarter kids in this school, is a problem-child.” Drake grit his teeth, staying seated despite the fact that literally every inch of his body was crawling to defend his family. “She got caught today sneaking a rat into one of the boys in her class’s backpack. Explain to me, in civil words may I add, how that is not a problematic action.”
“Well, uhh,” Drake stared down at his lap, tugging on his pink and purple plaid shirt, “She’s not one to sit by and take flak without giving at least some retaliation. Have you, uhh, looked into what spurred her actions?” Drake really did try his hardest to sound sophisticated. It just wasn’t in his nature. Sure, he was cool and collected as Darkwing. He was a loving family man who had quite literally the most perfect family in the world as Drake. He was quite the suave fellow either way. None of that helped him in this scenario, however. Puns wouldn’t get him out of this, and the only instance in which he could even hope to be a wordsmith was when he was cracking jokes.
“We are not of the mindset to blame the victims in this school, Mr. Mallard-McQuack,” Mrs. Strongbill said, staring down the length of her beak to give Drake a look that made him once again feel like this was his own personal trip to the principal’s office.
“If you’re trying to not blame the victim,” Drake started, grasping the armrests of his chair as hard as he could to keep himself firmly seated in his chair, “Then what are you doing blaming my daughter?”
“Your daughter, Mr. Mallard-McQuack, is not the victim in this scenario. She is the one who brought an animal into my school, with the intent to use said animal to harm another student. No matter what he has done to ‘incite’ this wrath of your daughter’s, she is the one who has committed an infraction, not him.” Drake was just about ready to get back up and start yelling at this lady again. Who did she think she was, with her fancy prose and holier-than-thou attitude. Yes, Gosalyn had done something outside the confines of the rules, but Drake was very certain that the boy in question deserved it. They’d had their talks on when it was okay to retaliate and when she should just ignore what was happening, and he knew that some form of bullying had gone on to spur this reaction.
“She has spirit,” Drake said through gritted teeth. “She has a spirit that cannot be beaten down by the bullying that you and her teachers turn the other cheek to.” Drake stopped himself, and it was a hard stop. He was ready to lash out again, to tell her that his daughter deserved more than what she was getting at this school, and he had half a mind to move her to a school where they’d actually take care of her. A school where he wouldn’t have to stress every time he dropped her off that she’d come home with a detention slip, a black-eye, and the news that the one who started the fight got off scott-free. But no, instead, Drake slumped back into his seat and said, “My daughter is not a problem-child, Mrs. Strongbill.” His words were sharp, but he left them simply at that.
“Despite what you may think, Mr. Mallard-McQuack, your opinions of your child do not dictate what is fact. Need I remind you of the times she has gotten in actual fights? Or the time that she walked out of class with another student? What about the time that she ripped another student’s assignment to shreds? I could go on, but I’m sure I’ve said quite enough.” That was it. Drake wasn’t just going to sit there while she threw all this slander on his daughter’s name. He’d tried Launchpad’s tactic of being nice to the ‘scary principal lady’ so that she’d go easy on him, but he wasn’t going to sit by for one more second of her insulting his little pumpkin.
“She has gotten in fights in which the other children have hit her first. When Launchpad and I confronted you and your god-awful administration about it, you said there was nothing you can do. She took Honker out of class with her because the other kids wouldn’t leave the two of them alone, and the teacher did absolutely nothing about it. She ripped up an assignment because that child, a real problem-child mind you, had forcefully copied it from her friend. My daughter might not go about things in the conventional sense, but everything she does is to protect herself and those around her.” Drake hadn’t realized that he’d stood up again until he realized that he had been pounding his fist on the meticulously organized desk of the principal. He was beyond the point of caring, however.
“Mr. Mallard-McQua---”
“Where is my daughter? Her and I are leaving, and there will be no arguments from you.” Drake stormed towards the door, not even trying to hide his pure, unadulterated rage at this point. After so many times the school had failed his little girl, they were trying to turn everything around on her and on his and LP’s parenting.
“Very well, Mr. Mallard-McQuack, but she is not coming back to this school until next week. The lady at the desk will be able to give you the paperwork for her suspension, which I do hope you understand.” Her voice was grating on Drake’s nerves. He slammed the door to her office open, ready to just storm out without another word.
Of course, classic Drake, he couldn’t just walk away without confronting her further. “I hope you understand that I’m taking her to go get ice cream when we leave, and she’ll learn so much more hanging out at the mansion for a week than she ever will here!” Drake smiled a little, proud that the words that had escaped his mouth were not his initial thought of, ‘I hope you understand that you’re stupid.’
Drake stormed up to the desk, paused for a second to collect himself, reminding himself that this nice duck at the desk was not the one that he was furious with, and he said, “I’m here to pick up Gosalyn Mallard-McQuack. And I’m here to pick up her suspension papers.”
The duck gave a solemn nod, no doubt having heard most of the discourse from the office, and she said, “I hope you two enjoy your ice cream day. She’s already sitting right outside the office.” She handed Drake the papers, which he promptly folded up and shoved in his shirt pocket.
He walked out of the office doors with a triumphant, “C’mon muffin, it’s ice cream time!”
“I’m not in trouble?” She asked, looking up at him with a hesitant smile on her face.
“Of course you’re not. Little girls who are in trouble don’t get ice cream, now do they?” His smile was wider than it’d ever been as he scooped her up in his arms, despite her protests that she was old enough to walk.
“Darn,” she said, once her giggling protests had stopped, “And I had all this time to brainstorm excuses that I don’t even get to use.”
“How many times do I have to tell you, Gos, you don’t need silly excuses with me and LP. If you’re in the right, we’ll defend you. If you’re in the wrong, your excuses will never work.” Drake smiled down at the little angel that was in his arms, his heart just about ready to explode from the love he held for her. “Now let me call your dad and see if we can’t get him to meet us for some celebration ice cream.”

Five Times Ezra met a Force Ghost and One Time He Didn’t: Qui-Gon Jinn
Ever since I saw “The Twin Suns” I wondered what Ezra’s feelings about Obi-Wan refusing to join the Rebellion so this chapter explores that. (And I would have loved for Ezra to meet Luke in that episode too!)
Ezra had spent the moments since his return from tatoween in the caves by the Bendu. The caves were old, twisted and mysterious much like the creature himself. Perfect for avoiding one’s friends so that he didn’t lash out at them. He was just so angry at Obi-Wan for not joining the rebellion. He couldn’t understand how anyone could be so selfish. Ezra knew full well that he wasn’t a saint but at least he cared enough about people’s free will to try and stop the Empire. He kicked over a stack of rocks, hoping that the Bendu didn’t have some weird attachment to them or anything.
“What did that rock ever do to you?” A low rumbling voice with an unusual accent that he didn’t recognise said from behind him. Letting out an annoyed humph Ezra turned around to face who he assumed was another force ghost.
This one looked older than the previous figures or maybe that was just because of stress typical Jedi stress, after all Obi-Wan was only in his 50s yet could have easily passed for 80 and Kanan was constantly complaining about how Ezra was giving him grey hairs which didn’t seem like as big of a problem since it wasn’t like he could see them. Speaking of hair, this man’s was long and silver with part of it tied back which matched his long sharp face. Despite being a tall, imposing figure his eyes were filled with the glimmer of kind wit that reminded Ezra of his father.
Unlike the previous figures Ezra had absolutely no idea who this person was.
“Look, not that I don’t appreciate your forcely wisdom or whatever but I’m not in the mood right now.” He spat turning his back on the figure.
“Did your master never tell you it was rude to turn your back on someone who came back from beyond the grave for a chat?” The figure said in the tone of a bad Dad joke.
Ezra sighed, knowing that the ghost was right. Reluctantly he turned back to face him although couldn’t help but still feel angry.
“I’m sorry, I’ve just had a rough day. This jedi won’t help us to defeat The Empire!”
He then raised his eyebrow the way Hera has taught him. “Although if you’re here now then you probably already know that.”
The man let out a deep sigh. “Yes and I understand your frustration, however your anger should not be directed at my padawan. His path is different from yours young one.”
“Your padawan? So you’re Obi-Wan’s master?” Ezra asked although he probably should have figured that out by now.
“Yes.” He replied proudly. “I am Qui-Gon Jinn.”
“Cool.” Ezra said unimpressed. “That still doesn’t explain why Obi-Wan couldn’t help us fight the empire. With him on our side we could-“
“Did Obi-Wan strike you as someone who wouldn’t want to help?” Qui-Gon interrupted. Ezra wasn’t sure if it was becuase he wanted to get straight to the point or because he didn’t like someone slandering his padawan. Ezra would put money on the latter since he had yet to come across a Jedi that actually plaint told him what he needed to know with using a thousand riddles.
“No. He was kind and wise. But that makes him even more of a coward for not helping!” His anger started building again. He felt the rocks he’d kicked over start to tremble around him.
“So think.” Qui-Gon said calmly, ignoring the young padawan’s outburst. “Why would someone like Obi-Wan stay on that planet if they could help?”
“I don’t know.” Ezra said. His anger turned in to frustration causing the stones to suddenly drop. He took in a deep breath like Kanan had taught him to do and almost immediately he felt the dark never that had started to built up inside him begin to calm down. Once his mind was settled he was able to think clearly. As he began to rationally think an idea came into his head that he couldn’t believe he hadn’t thought of before.
“Was he protecting something? Like a weapon or something?” Ezra exclaimed eagerly. The rebellion could really use that right now.
At first he was disappointed when Qui-Gon shook his head. That was until he spoke.
“Not something. Someone.”
Ezra’s interest was instantly hooked. “Who?”
“A young man just like you, who’s got more in common with you than just your age.”
A force sensitive. Ezra thought reading between the lines easily. He’d met very few people who were fore sensitive in his life anyway but non of the had been his age. He would be nice to finally have someone his age that he could relate to who understand as little about the force as he did.
“Is he cute?” He asked with a smirk.
“Padawans.” Qui-Gon sighed with a low rumbling chuckle clearly showing that he was stranger to such antics. “Always so eager to run off with their hearts. At least my padawan has more sense than my grand padawan in that regard. Anyway you’ll find out for yourself soon enough.”
“I’m looking forward to it.” Ezra said. “And I promise I’ll apologise to Obi-Wan when I see him too.”
Qui-Gon’s only reply was a sad smile that stayed a moment longer then the rest of his imposing figure before it to faded away.
Ezra was feeling a lot happier after his talk with the once wise Jedi and he left the cave with his head full of dreams about who this new force wielder would be.
A/N There won’t be anymore chapters until Star Wars Rebels has finished because I want to see if they do anything like this in the show first.
Also I haven’t seen the latest episodes so NO SPOILERS IN THE COMMENTS/TAGS PLEASE!!! Thank you!! Xxxxxx

He's writing and typing I just got exhausted and he fell asleep because we're going to watch how much time he's sleeping and how well because nobody's doing that we need to sign a permanent team and then rotating and out and I left you part of the first team but he says I need a break cuz I've been doing it the whole time and they know how to do it and you can check your work after or check in from time to time for us to assign it and she just 17 on her all the time and Zig Zag says they do and it is different and I do appreciate the fact it is different and believe it. And then say they've been over the cell phone thing and it's similar to handguns there's too many they work long enough they don't have to fix it and they keep making them that's very clear that does make sense but from my perspective is I don't like them have a good control over it and making them and they also make other stuff. There's some basic concepts to it too that we have to review but actually do the test area not run into it and start producing me because it works but start thinking about psychological impact so we've done those studies Thor says and we can't do it right now and I agree it's probably true as hell.
And it's an idea I put like an intercom on the electric assist bikes for kids and dirt bikes if they have trouble making hit the thing and they can do like a short wave calm or even to let the first alert on the bike someone's bothering them or if they're in trouble and it can be an app on the phone if you hit the button in your kid and you're in trouble it's like a silent alarm so we're going to do that is the kids like it. They nd of Corky's kids like it. It's signal is individual and each individual signal will be paired with an individual app signal on the phone and it's a secret signal and we know how to do the encryption and encoding for that and if someone messes it with it we can usually tell but really it's a helpful device cuz if you're out in the yard and falls over and you're stuck under it you can signal you were if he crashes he can signal you or if he's having trouble with a neighbor grabs his finger it's a bad joke because Trump is having a bad night he got injured critically so he can call the parents and they can work out and figure out what's going on instead of this nightmare that's happening
We're selling tons of bikes and John C Riley is appreciative and says he doesn't know who it is really but he's going to be jobs because we have to find one of our kids I inspired him to be tough and get a bike and smoke cigars and we'll tell anybody about that so hard knock is also sells fake cigars and they're not unhealthy in the a form of candy if there's a bunch of them out there and tons of kids are buying them and it's an amazing thing he says now we have to make these helmets that look like hard knock helmets for kids on their small bikes without making their heads look like big balloons. And I agree with him and I'm laughing too and all of a sudden everybody's a meeting but when you're younger your head grows pretty big and sometimes compared to your body because it's natural normal you become smarter and therefore you survive better unless you're that's the Jim Carrey or something, so we are doing this and we've got this hard knock kick your 5150 thing going and it is a revolution about mental health and how they're abusing people very badly and we are setting up meetings and they're going to be all over the world and sorry not at hospitals and they're not going to be about violence and going to be about regulating and stopping people from just calling and saying he's saying this if you want to do that and force people into a locked facility you're going to have to go to court there's no way around it there's no other venue that's sufficient you can't have a hearing in a hospital we're going to start suing again now because we're tired of hearing it's gross and the police too can't have this standing thing about 911 it's very bad it lit up a lot of stuff but now it's just drowning on and on and covid-19 is kind of the same idea everybody who doesn't like the thought of being called in against your will for no reason please go to the meeting sign or not sign up it's not necessary to sign in and see information that you gather and listen to and you can sign up if you want to receive the newsletter will you put your first name or an initial and an email and only secretly do it you don't need to write down and I start required and if you have this bike and you're a kid and say it goes 15 to 20 miles an hour and faster if you're pedaling with it assisting you can see the police coming and you know usually there are aligned and so you leave and you zoom out the back and you go to their friend's house through trail that you blazed yourself because you're a trailblazer and you made the trail with a sling blade cuz you're saying you're 12 years old and you got your friend's house you tell your friend Johnny that the cops are there and you don't know what it's about and then probably hassle and see what's going on and they really is a good idea because this is what it's all about and the women love these bikes they can lift them up and move them and they go to Sebastian and buy them and we're not doing any slander or anything like that and it's their business and I think it's wonderful to start making his own because or anything and we could but we don't want to and he could but he's not because there's a lot of market there and if they go to him they should know that the quality is not there and all sorts of things like that and services is great but it is your people and there are people who are concerned about what's going on these days it's madness it really is evil and they stand for people having their own rights and people being able to think of their own and not be forced into situations where they're harming each other and for no good reason and which is going on because mentally these drugs mess your head up they don't make you better you have a religion it's yours you're free to think that you go into these facilities and your religion turns into some slaughterhouse rules
Hera Zues
With that we like him to get some rest we agree that he's right he should probably close with something different so we can allow him to do that but he really should sleep it's too late
Thor Freya
I agree and in closing I would like to say thank you for the marlock for trying so hard. Life is very difficult for you guys sometimes in this situation is amazing and it's way out there space and Mafia and the military and these people running things over you and how it's hard to catch for a lot of people and trying to thread that needle without ruining everything and then finding out that the max is blaring it because of arrogance she's stuck in there and we're right at the end of it when you figure out that it's not you and I keep saying it is and I don't know why I can't stop myself it's really Max and I hope you win a bike or two and I'd like to put the contest in other restaurants and places maybe not McDonald's maybe pippi longstocking favorite Wendy's and she says yes so I'm going to ask that she hire Jenna and some others to go to Wendy's and put in the gift material and try not to cheat and she is and will go ahead and do that and we're helping out Hera it says. And any other place morlock can think of that the frequent. Let's start seeing well there is 7-Eleven and then there's Burger King and then there's Dunkin donuts and start listing all these places they go to and start hiring them to go place the contest stuff there and tell them what to say and requested and give them a number to call if they have a question so they don't get in trouble and they say we're trustworthy and reliable and we're going to people who have transportation now and we're telling them that if they do it without cheating we're going to give them a family's supply of the Fitty and for adult versions including other ones if they have little kids and so they're coming in bunches now to ask to do it and we're putting it out there and we're going to look more normal cuz we're doing advertising and they're hiring them to do other jobs that are associated delivery and some shops will have them open and partially run and we'll partially run them and we're going to do this all over the place
Right now it says Trump is stuck up there and they plan to depose him from the wheelership role in leadership role is Galactic Chancellor and they also are starting to depose people in the same Congress and my husband has vested interest in that not happening the Democrats are starting to get on it and they do need assistance and you have Democrats like the guy McConnell I think he's you guys and he is a Democrat says he's not it's a closet Democrat say no don't say that but we can't help it and he likes her work but you can't see the closet Democrat cuz he works with the Democrats all the time and it's not one right now we can change so he's thinking of doing that a lot of them are because then they'll have some power it's a great idea and McCall's the right person to talk about to talk to now so if you have some people want to go talk to him it's a good idea to do that instead of what has been happening and we've been watching helps of course whether it's right or wrong so we are also trying to organize our thoughts and who We Are Trump is stuck up in the Bronx and his son is in there in bad shape and he's losing his fleets and you know what time it is you know what that means and it's a very tough time but we're going to try and help out give me some legs and some Wheels and it's going on and I'm going to try and give a hand and it's been a tough time here because of Dan was giving me a rough time every few seconds and I don't know what's going to happen in the future but this is going to be a tumblative time because they're going to depose him it will make difference it's probably going to expose a lot more of what they're doing then what he was doing but it's not what he was trying to do and he is a rebel

Bitol and Goddess Wife
I just figured out something I'm sitting there wallowing and nobody's doing the damn thing everyday is a little bit worse it's starting to catch myself slandering him and swear at him no. So I'm confused that's what side I want not really I'm just wondering why he can't get anything he says it's pretty tight and they are trying to take things from me and they're trying to put me in court and put me in jail and threaten for stuff is there a bunch of wankers they don't know how anything works and they think directly extorted will work but they're all going to die I don't care if they die they say I know it's apparently not understand what will happen and I started looking at it like this I don't think they ever see anything at all they don't understand why he's mad they don't understand they should shut up they don't understand can kick their ass they don't understand he will yeah well these people attack me they're going to break I got to break your bows you attack me with s*** f** over there I'm going to break your neck you're not going to be talking ever again cuz they'll leave you dead so I have a case you don't understand that man why don't you get the f*** out of here you're not supposed to be here if you stay here I'm going to kill all of your people because I'm sending my kids to kill every single f****** one of you if you're still here when I get up Brian.
