Apparently I either have too weird of an accent or do not know how to pronounce Poughkeepsie because I just had an argument with my Google assistant about what I was saying.

Me: "Where is Poughkeepsie?" Assistant: "Here are some places to learn a new language near you: [list] Hope this helps!" Me: "No I was asking where Poughkeepsie is" Assistant: "The term 'police key' can have different meanings depending on—" Me: "No. I said Poughkeepsie. The town." Last night at like 4 AM I was awake and thinking about armadillos.

And I remembered the pink fairy armadillo, the smallest species (that we currently know about) and just look at this thing

It's so cute? and furry?? and small???

I dislike it very much when someone has long acrylic nails that are skin-colored all the way to the tips which are white (ie, French tips), because to me that implies that their skin is stretching that far and it's kind of horrifying

It's really amazing how my xwitter feed is actually mostly ads these days. Like I'm not even joking, when I check on mobile it'll be like one (1) post from someone I follow sandwiched between straight up ads or stupid sponsored/promoted posts, and sometimes I have to scroll through several of those before another Real Post shows up.

Thank the gods for adblockers on PC because the sheer state of the internet these days is absolute garbage. I'm so tired of being inundated.

I had a Furby when I was a kid, and I don't know why but I eventually just completely neglected him and he disappeared (idk what happened to him; it feels like I neglected him until he died or something).

I feel so incredibly bad about it, I wish I could have him back to love and appreciate again. He was a good friend ☹
