Last night at like 4 AM I was awake and thinking about armadillos.

And I remembered the pink fairy armadillo, the smallest species (that we currently know about) and just look at this thing

It's so cute? and furry?? and small???

I dislike it very much when someone has long acrylic nails that are skin-colored all the way to the tips which are white (ie, French tips), because to me that implies that their skin is stretching that far and it's kind of horrifying

I had a Furby when I was a kid, and I don't know why but I eventually just completely neglected him and he disappeared (idk what happened to him; it feels like I neglected him until he died or something).

I feel so incredibly bad about it, I wish I could have him back to love and appreciate again. He was a good friend ☹

We've had a couple mice squatting in our kitchen for a while now. We finally caught one last night.

What a little cutie 😊 They were taken to a nearby field and released. I hope we can catch their friend too so they can maybe reunite!

Blow-drying my hair is a sensory nightmare... I really need 3 hands so I can plug my ears with 2 and hold the dryer with the other. 😖

I remember someone once said that my sketches are "so clean", but it's entirely because I only post sketches that I've cleaned up a little. Because otherwise they look like this

Finally went to a dermatologist about the Thing on my face. It's an angioma, which is not at all dangerous and won't get bigger or anything, so nothing to do about it. I also got my hidradenitis suppurativa officially diagnosed.

In other health news the pharmacy that was trying to fill my eye drops prescription just came back and told me "you have to pay $89, we saved you $479 from the manufacturer!" like jesus effing christ these are expensive eye drops. Can't afford $89 either so I cancelled the RX. I guess I'll call my optometrist on Monday and talk to her about it.

I often wonder how a doctor gets into a certain field of medicine. Family/general doctors/internists are one thing, but I wonder how someone decides to become an optometrist or an otorhinolaryngologist or dentist or proctologist or whatever specialty.

Is it "socially acceptable" to even ask? I'm so curious.
