He is 35 years old and an Aquarius. Evan’s television work includes Phil of the Future, Invasion, Dirty, Without a Trace, Monk, House, One Tree Hill, Ghost Whisperer, Criminal Minds, The Mentalist, The Office, Parenthood, In Plain Sight, Pose, WandaVision, and Mare of Easttown. In addition to his roles on television, Evan has also appeared on the big screen. Quibi Is Coming. Here Are the Famous People Making Shows for It.

Quibi, set to launch on April 6, stands for “quick bites,” which refers to the service’s plan to offer short segments (10 minutes or less) designed for small screens (your phone).But little else about this short-form venture is bite-size. In its first year, the company’s partners (the chairman Jeffrey Katzenberg and the C.E.O. Meg Whitman) are spending more than a billion dollars on content acquisition alone. That’s partly because everyone in Hollywood seems to be doing a Quibi show, including heavy-hitters like Steven Spielberg, Guillermo del Toro, Kevin Hart and Jennifer Lopez.The company has been rolling out promotional announcements and previews all over — including on Twitter, in industry trade publications, at the Sundance Film Festival, and on a screen during a keynote presentation at CES in Las Vegas last month.On Friday, Quibi released its launch lineup, a total of 50 shows that includes Liam Hemsworth’s “Most Dangerous Game,” Queen Latifah’s “When the Streetlights Go On” and Chrissy Teigen’s “Chrissy’s Court.”But this is just a fraction of what Quibi says it will release in its first year. Evan Peters sinh vào ngày 20 tháng 1 năm 1987, tại St. Louis, Missouri, Hoa Kỳ và lớn lên ở vùng ngoại ô Ballwin. Anh là con trai của Phil Peters và Julie Peters. Cha anh là phó chủ tịch hành chính của quỹ Charles Stewart Mott và không có thông tin gì liên quan đến mẹ anh được tiết lộ.

Peters lớn lên trong một gia đình Công giáo La Mã và theo học tại một trường công giáo. Anh có một người anh trai, tên là Andrew và một người chị cùng cha khác mẹ, Michelle. Năm 2001, Peters cùng với gia đình của mình chuyển đến vùng Grand Blanc, Michigan, nơi anh bắt đầu có hứng thú với nghề người mẫu và quyết định theo đuổi nó cũng như tham gia vào các lớp diễn xuất tại địa phương. 

Anh theo học tại trường trung học công cộng Grand Blanc trước khi chuyển đến Los Angeles vào năm 15 tuổi cùng với mẹ của mình để chính thức theo đuổi sự nghiệp diễn xuất. Anh cũng đi học tại trường trung học Burbank khi còn là học sinh năm hai tuy nhiên sau đó anh chỉ tham gia học tại nhà. 

Sự nghiệp diễn xuất

2004 - 2011

Mặc dù thể hiện tình yêu với nghiệp diễn từ rất sớm tuy nhiên phải đến năm 2004, Evan Peters mới có cho mình những vai diễn đầu tiên. Trong buổi thử giọng thứ hai cho vai diễn Adam Sheppard của bộ phim Clipping Adam, Peters đã được nhà sản xuất Michael Picchiottino nhìn trúng và giao cho anh vai diễn đầu tiên trong sự nghiệp của mình.

Bộ phim kể về một đứa trẻ phải vật lộn với bi kịch gia đình, với những cơn đau của tuổi thiếu niên và mối đe dọa thực sự đến từ trường trung học. May thay, Adam cũng đã tìm cho mình những đồng minh giúp anh, bên anh trong quãng thời gian này. Lấy bối cảnh tại một thị trấn nhỏ ở phía nam California, câu chuyện này là bằng chứng cho tình bạn và gia đình, với sự giúp đỡ của họ, bạn luôn sẽ tìm được đúng con đường để về nhà của mình. Từ năm 2004 đến năm 2005, anh đã có cho mình một vai diễn trong phần đầu của series phim Phil of the Future của hãng phim Disney. Từ năm 2005 đến 2006, Evan Peters vào vai Jesse Varon trong series phim kinh dị Ivasion của đài ABC.

Các năm sau đó, anh tham gia diễn xuất chủ yếu vào các vai phụ trong các bộ phim như An American Crime (2007), Gardens of the Night (2008), Never Back Down (2008) và phần tiếp theo Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown (2011). Năm 2010, anh lần đầu tham gia vào một bộ phim siêu anh hùng, Kick-Ass, trong vai phụ Todd Haynes, bạn thân của nhân vật chính. Tuy nhiên, sau đó Peters đã không thể tiếp tục vai diễn này của mình trong phần tiếp theo của bộ phim vào năm 2013 do xung đột lịch trình với vai diễn trong phần thứ hai của American Horror Story.  

2011 - nay

Evan Peters đã có những bước đột phá hơn trong sự nghiệp diễn xuất của mình, đặc biệt chính là vai diễn chàng thanh niên Tate Langdon trong phần đầu tiên của series phim kinh dị American Horror Story được chiếu trên kênh truyền FX của Mỹ. Tại phần hai của series phim này, anh đóng vai Kit Walker, một người đàn ông bị buộc tội sai rằng đã giết chính vợ của mình. Vai diễn này đã mang lại cho anh một đề cử cho giải thưởng “Nam diễn viên phụ xuất sắc nhất - Series, Miniseries hoặc phim truyền hình” của Satellite Award.

Tiếp đến phần ba, có tên Coven, anh đóng vai Kyle Spencer, một cậu bé frat bị giết và sống lại như một sinh vật quái vật được tạo ra bởi tên bác sĩ Frankenstein. Trong phần thứ tư của series phim, với cái tên Freak Show, anh vào vai Jimmy Darling, một nghệ sĩ xiếc có đôi bàn tay bị biến dạng.

Năm 2014, Peters đóng vai chính trong bộ phim hài Adult World cùng với John Cusack và Emma Roberts. Anh cũng tham gia vào vũ trụ điện ảnh X-Men trong loạt phim về người đột biến với vai diễn Quicksilver, bao gồm các phần phim X-Men: Days of Future Past, X-Men: Apocalypse và bộ phim vừa ra mắt gần đây, đóng lại đế chế X-Men, Dark Phoenix. Năm 2015, Peters tham gia bộ phim kinh dị The Lazarus Effect và bộ phim truyền hình Safelight cùng với nữ diễn viên Juno Temple. Vào năm 2016, anh có một vai diễn trong bộ phim hài kịch Elvis & Nixon.

Năm 2018, Peters quyết định tham gia vào series phim được đánh giá cao, Pose, một bộ phim tập trung vào cộng đồng LBGT của thành phố New York vào cuối những năm 1980. Tuy nó có rất ít điểm chung so với các dự án anh đã từng tham gia tuy nhiên Peters chia sẻ rằng, anh thực sự thích trải nghiệp mới mẻ này. Gắn bó với series phim American Horror Story, tuy nhiên nam diễn viên gần đây đã xác nhận rằng anh sẽ không xuất hiện trong mùa thứ chín cũng như việc anh không hề muốn cố định cho một vai diễn mà khao khát thử thách mình trong những vai diễn khác nhau.

Bên cạnh sự nghiệp diễn xuất, Peters cũng tiết lộ rằng anh đã khám phá ra một sở thích mới của bản thân mình, chính là âm nhạc. Có lẽ sự quan tâm của anh ấy đối với âm nhạc đã được khơi dậy khi anh tham gia vào một video âm nhạc vào năm 2017 cho bài hát "Traded Heaven" của Grand Southern.

Peters nói rằng khi anh mới chuyển đến L.A., bộ phim yêu thích của anh là Forrest Gump. Anh xem bộ phim như là "sử thi" và thực sự được truyền cảm hứng bởi bộ phim đình đám một thời này. Vào tháng 7 năm 2013, khi họ đang ở tại một khách sạn tại Montreal, Quebec, Canada, một người qua đường đã tình cờ nghe được một cuộc tranh cãi đến từ phòng của họ và gọi cảnh sát. Sau một "cuộc tranh cãi nảy lửa", họ đã bắt đầu đánh nhau. Khi cảnh sát đến, họ đã bắt giữ Roberts. Peters từ chối trả lời báo chí về vụ việc và Roberts cũng được thả ra vài giờ sau đó. Hiện tại, Roberts đang hẹn hò với ngôi sao của Triple Frontier, Garrett Hedlund cũng như cô dự kiến sẽ xuất hiện trong mùa thứ chín của American Horror Story. Cô cũng từng xuất hiện cùng với Peters trong những mùa trước và mặc cho mối quan hệ đầy biến động của họ, tan rồi hợp, cặp đôi vẫn luôn chuyên nghiệp trên trường quay. Nhiều người dự đoán rằng, đây cũng có thể là nguyên nhân Peters từ chối tham gia mùa thứ chín của series phim này sau 8 năm gắn bó cùng nhau.

Bên cạnh đó, Peters cũng chia sẻ rằng anh đã mất liên lạc với gia đình của mình khi bước đi trên con đường sự nghiệp này. Anh sống hết mình để theo đuổi giấc mơ trở thành diễn viên, bỏ lại gia đình ở St. Louis, Missouri, và bắt đầu làm việc ở Los Angeles lúc 15 tuổi. Anh nói rằng bản thân hiếm khi có thời gian rảnh rỗi cho việc khác khi quay American Horror Story. Và dường như, Peters cũng đang dần kiệt sức khi gặp phải quá nhiều áp lực của việc làm quá nhiều vào năm 2018. Anh cũng đã xác nhận rằng nhiều năm làm việc với American Horror Story đã có những tác động tiêu cực đến sức khỏe tâm thần của anh.
