The combined ticket of €25 ticket, named “The Benaki Museum Experience” allows the visitors to enter the museum buildings once in a day for the next three months. However, the “Leigh Fermor House”, and the “Valadoros Collection” are ineligible for this offer.

Attraction Writeup

The Benaki Museum of Greek Culture is located among the wonderful, and eye-catching neo-classical structures in Athens. It is close to the Hellenic Parliament, and National Garden. Antonis Benaki and his sisters, Argine, Penelope, and Alexandra has donated this museum for the Greek nation. However, this was further changed over into an exhibition hall to protect the collections of Antonis Benakis. Moreover, this museum building shows the historic architectural creativity and reflects the greek ancient culture. Although, by following its latest restoration which was done between 1989 - 2000, the building structures incorporate an interesting and unique exhibition on Greek Cultural assets diachronically from ancient times to the twentieth century.

The main tourist attraction of this museum is the reflection of ancient greek architecture in the building complex. The main development and modification has completed in 1911 by Anastasios Metaxas. After that, Emmanuel Benakis, and Antonis' father has owned its ownership from Anastasios Metaxas in the mid of the twentieth century. The museum building was further furnished including an outside stairs and a Doric patio for marble paving the way to the Vass, the Sofias Ave, front entrance just as the fundamental façade ornamentations. Moreover, the next renovation and expansion was done in the year 1930 to change the building into the museum gallery of Antonis Benakis. This gallery includes the collection of Greek arts alongside the vast collections of Chinees ceramics.

Additionally, in the years of 1965, 1968, and 1973 some of the most amazing upgradations has been done in the museum gallery collections including ancient arts, greek paintings, and drawings, and many more. However, the remodeling of museum building between the years 1989 to 2000 has proved to be a valuable addition to the beauty and attraction of the Benaki Museum in terms of their Greek arts, and material culture. Moreover, the "Spyridon and Eurydice Costopoulos Gallery" has well increased the number of visitors to this place because of its temporary exhibitions, the fully operational Library services, and museum operational historical places.

Portanto vos quero fazer compreender que ninguém, falando pelo Espírito de Deus, diz: Que Jesus seja maldito! E ninguém pode dizer: Jesus é o Senhor! Senão pelo Espírito Santo.

Nos últimos anos tenho observado uma crescente tendência nos louvores e canções cristãs em chamar Jesus (português) de Yeshua (Hebraico). Não vi com bons olhos, tive e tenho a certeza de que Satanás não perde a oportunidade de tentar ofuscar o Nome do Senhor, porque até o nome de Jesus já é o Evangelho (Deus Salvador). Surge um grupo de cristãos achando que têm uma revelação especial, enquanto o Nome mais conhecido da História perde destaque porque resolvem chamá-Lo pelo nome em um idioma que só os judeus israelitas e os estudantes de hebraico conhecem.

Deus permitiu o nome do Senhor ser transliterado para o grego, e, portanto, qualquer outro idioma para o qual a Palavra de Deus seja traduzida.

“’ foi-lhe dado o nome de Jesus’ (Lucas 2:21)

Nós não temos nenhum manuscrito antigo de Lucas ou dos Evangelhos que estejam em aramaico ou hebraico, porque os Evangelhos não foram escritos nessas línguas, com exceção, talvez, do Evagelho de Mateus. Quis Deus preservar o nome de Jesus em grego. Ouvimos alguns cristãos dizerem: 'o nome dele é Yeshua, precisamos chamá-Lo pelo nome d'Ele'.

Se fosse esse o nome pelo qual Deus quisesse que nós O conhecêssemos, Ele teria preservado os manuscritos em aramaico ou hebraico. O que Deus preservou foram os manuscritos em grego, portanto o nome d'Ele é Jesus."

ISRAEL

Aqui vem a parte dos bons olhos, feitos bons pelo Sangue de Cristo, e não nos deixa perdê-Lo de vista.

Deus está provocando ciúme em Israel.

Após assistir a um ministério online de evagelismo em Israel, (ONE FOR ISRAEL*) de judeus convertidos a Jesus, descobri que o nome “Jesus” é um nome maldito para os judeus, pois eles o remetem a um “deus pagão” dos gentios (nós que não somos israelitas somos chamados de "gentios" pelas Escrituras), ou ao catolicismo romano, que teve intensa ligação com o Holocausto e com os pogroms** ao longo da História. Esses nossos irmãos revelam que a esmagadora maioria dos judeus sequer sabe que Jesus Cristo era judeu! (não só os judeus, a maioria dos gentios também não se dá conta). Jesus é o Messias aguardado por Israel, Ele cumpre todas as profecias messiânicas. Muitos de nós cristãos ignora o fato de que o Senhor Jesus é o Rei dos Judeus (Não foi por acaso que foi essa a sentença escrita na Sua cruz, nem foi por acaso que o anjo Gabriel anunciou à Maria que Ele reinaria para sempre sobre a Casa de Jacó - Isarel). Quando esses irmãos evangelizam judeus, eles falam de Yeshua, não Jesus. Judeus param para ouvir sobre o Messias "Yeshua", o qual já veio e que voltará, conforme tudo o que está escrito a Seu respeito. Mas jamais param para ouvir sobre o "Jesus Messias".

Agora as nações gentias estão cantando um nome hebreu, que eles conhecem, e isto os está levando a conhecer JESUS, o Messias dos gentios, exatamente o mesmo Messias dos judeus, o Desejado de todas as nações! O Salvador do mundo!

Por outro lado, os cristãos gentios também estão reconhecendo que o plano de Deus para Israel não terminou com o surgimento da Igreja (Noiva de Cristo). Povos distintos, com destinos eternos distintos.

Romanos 10

19. Eu pergunto outra vez: Será que o povo de Israel não entendeu que Deus daria a sua salvação para outros se eles se recusassem a recebê-la ? Sim, pois Moisés já disse: “Vou fazer o mesmo com Israel: vou provocar ciúmes nele! Vou dedicar afeição a um povo que não é meu; provocarei sua ira por meio de uma nação insensata”.

Romanos 11

11. Pergunto mais uma vez: Será que isto significa que Deus rejeitou para sempre o seu povo? De maneira nenhuma! Ao contrário, por causa da transgressão deles, a salvação se tornou acessível aos gentios para provocar ciúme em Israel.

12. Agora, se o mundo inteiro ficou rico como resultado da oferta da salvação que Deus fez quando os judeus tropeçaram nela e a rejeitaram, imaginem que bênção maior ainda o mundo não desfrutará quando também os judeus se voltarem para Deus.
