Introducing Mobec: A Game-Changer in the EV Charging Market
As electric vehicles (EVs) become more popular, the demand for EV charging stations has increased. However, finding a charging station can be inconvenient, especially on a long road trip. This is where Mobec comes in – a portable EV charging solution that could revolutionize the EV charging market.
Tumblr media
What is Mobec?
Mobec is a Noida-based, one-of-a-kind Portable EV charging solution start-up. Mobec, in its name itself, refers to Mobile Electric Charger. Its main aim is a hassle-free transition towards green and sustainable energy solutions.
Mobec provides a portable EV charging solution to charge your electric vehicle anywhere. It is a game-changer in the EV charging market, eliminating the need for fixed (static) charging stations. With Mobec, you can charge your EV at home, at work, or even on the go.
How does Mobec work?
Mobec consists of a portable battery pack and a charging cable, which is a power-dispensing EV Charging gun that uses the onboard battery bank to charge multiple EVs as per their demand. The battery pack can be charged using a standard wall outlet or a solar panel. Once the battery pack is fully charged, it can charge an electric vehicle.
What are the benefits of Mobec?
Mobec offers several benefits over traditional fixed charging stations:
Charging Infra benefits:
Mobec is cost-effective. Fixed charging stations require significant infrastructure and maintenance costs. Mobec eliminates these costs as it does not require any infrastructure.
Due to on-demand charging, users do not have to rely on the availability of nearby EV Chargers.
Reduces installation time.
Eliminates massive idle/downtime
Charging Service benefits:
On-demand Portable Rescue Charging M-CAAS (Mobile-Charging as a Service)
Charge anytime and anywhere
Daily charging
Schedule your everyday portable charger in advance or call it on demand (Mobec instant Solution)
Highway RSA (Roadside Assistance)
Highway assistance will have EV users plan interstate or intercity travel in their EV, which was not possible previously. Users can plan their long trip (intercity or interstate) route with Mobec so they would not have to worry about charging infra.
Societies, office spaces, fleet operators, auto manufacturers, car rentals, etc., can directly have Mobec on-demand charging services to solve their EV charging needs.
Who can use Mobec?
Mobec is suitable for anyone who owns an electric vehicle. It is handy for those who travel frequently or live in areas with limited charging infrastructure. Mobec is also helpful for businesses that want to offer EV charging services to their customers but want to avoid investing in fixed charging stations.
Conclusion
Mobec is a game-changer in the EV charging market. It offers a portable, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly solution to serve the increasing demand for EV charging. With Mobec, EV range anxiety is a thing of the past; you no longer have to worry about finding a charging station – you can charge your EV anytime and anywhere.

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation is overseeing the rapid rail network’s construction. (File pic/PTI) Presently, a 34 km section between Sahibabad and Modi Nagar North of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor is operational. It is connecting Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, Duhai Depot, Murad Nagar, Modi Nagar South, and Modi Nagar North To ease the last-mile journey of commuters, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) and Ghaziabad City Transport Service have joined hands to offer bus services to and from seven routes, covering several parts of the area, including Kaushambi and Loni in Ghaziabad and Dilshad Garden in neighbouring Delhi for India’s first Regional Rapid Transit System. These 50 electric buses for seven routes can be boarded/deboarded from/at bus stops developed near the entry-exit gates of stations on the operations stretch of the Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS), the NCRTC announced on Wednesday. Speaking to News18, an official said that the routes covered will be Kaushambi to Kanoja Village (connecting to Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar and Duhai RRTS Stations), Purana Bus Adda to Mandola Ghaziabad route (connecting Ghaziabad RRTS station), Kaushambi to Modi Nagar route (connecting to Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, Murad nagar, Modi Nagar South and Modi Nagar North RRTS stations), Loni to Purana bus adda route (connecting to Ghaziabad RRTS station), Dilshad Garden to Massuri route (connecting to Ghaziabad RRTS station), Kaushambi to Sanjay Nagar/ALT route (connecting to Sahibabad and Ghaziabad RRTS station), and Kaushambi to Govindpuram route (connecting to Sahibabad and Ghaziabad RRTS stations). These bus services, the official added, will also ease the journey for those who commute from Delhi Metro and want to board the RRTS. The details of these buses, including fare and timing are available on the RRTS Connect mobile app. “The integration covers key RRTS stations, including Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar & Duhai. NCRTC is also in talks with the authorities to get Muradnagar, Modi Nagar South, and Modi Nagar North stations integrated with these city buses,” the NCRTC said. Additionally, NCRTC has also collaborated with RAPIDO to provide cab services at Sahibabad and Ghaziabad RRTS stations including auto-rickshaws, two-wheeler bike taxis, as well as four-wheeler cabs. “NCRTC is also installing fast EV chargers in parking areas of RRTS stations to enhance last-mile connectivity. This will lead to increased use of both Electric Vehicles and Namo Bharat trains, while also creating a sustainable and eco-friendly hub of public transport modes,” it added. Expressions of interest have also been invited from other cab aggregators and bus operators for integration with all the 25 stations across the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor, which will further enhance the connectivity of urban nodes with the RRTS stations, creating a transport hub. “NCRTC aims to deliver a cohesive and hassle-free network of networks across the National Capital Region (NCR) by integrating bus stands, airport, metro stations and railway stations with RRTS stations. RRTS stations have been strategically designed in such a manner that they enable commuters to move from one mode of transport to another conveniently,” the NCRTC added. EV public charging point player CHARGE+ZONE eyes $100 million fund raise
Tumblr media
On the back of a successful electrification of 1000 kms across multiple national highways with its unmanned electric vehicle (EV) charging points, Vadodara-based CHARGE+ZONE is now looking to raise $100 million for network expansion.
Having set up 10 such EV charging points, including four company-owned company-operated (COCO), across 1,000 km on national highways like Ahmedabad-Rajkot, Mumbai-Nashik, Mumbai-Pune and Delhi-Jaipur, CHARGE+ZONE is now looking to cover over 10,000 km in the country.
Deployed at convenient and strategic locations along the highway, CHARGE+ZONE's unmanned charging stations are rapid DC charging points with CCS2 as charging protocol, catering to electric four-wheelers. These stations can provide up to 80 per cent charge in 45-60 minutes and full charge in 90-120 minutes, depending on the EV’s battery size.
According to CHARGE+ZONE founder and CEO Kartikey Hariyani, apart from its larger goal of electrifying 10,000 km of national and state highways over the next 3-5 years, the company also plans to have a robust network of one million EV charging points by 2030.
"Through our national highway electrification program, we have successfully implemented full stack EV charging solutions across multiple cities and states that are accessible, affordable and easy to use. We have already spent a million USD dollars on fast chargers and are looking forward to engaging with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) even as we set up more charging stations and more points at each station. Now, as part of the expansion, we are looking for a 'Series A' round of $75-100 million," Hariyani told Business Standard.
With the charging points being Internet of Things (IoT) enabled, the same are unmanned and connected with the company's mainstay operating system (OS) Charge Cloud, thereby managing not just payments and charging but also data around usage and duration, among other things.
