She's done a HECK lot for love, especially if it's for Eury's mate/SO. But I think the dumbest one she's ever done would be in Lucio's route. Yes, she definitely went down the reversed ending. She was definitely pissed, then went with Lucio to kill the Devil, and then became the devil.

For the sake of other people's dashes, I'm gonna go ahead and rant under the cut. Warning for sad Eury vibes. ✨

PS. I made myself sad writing this. 🥲

Euryleia rarely cries but not because she has a hard time with emotions. It's mostly because of her optimism which sometimes turns to a toxic form of positivity for herself, reaching a point where she doesn't acknowledge her own pain as something worth the worry. This is why I love pairing her with a character like Muriel because he's more experienced with the negative side of his emotions while Eury is foreign and very much unaware on how to deal with things like sadness or lost.

It's pretty much her nature to be the source of hope and positive support in any room. She's a ray of sunshine that dedicated herself to making other people smile and that made people assume that she's more than capable to keep her own self smiling despite any circumstance.

However, when you're supposed to be the strong one, where are you supposed to go when you're the one in pain?

Euryleia crying is usually just her being really silent and finding a place away from people where she can let a few tears fall. She doesn't sob or make noises at all because she doesn't want other people worrying themselves because of her. After a few minutes, she'll wipe her face, go back and pretend like nothing happened.

The real pain though takes place in the canon plot in Muriel's route. This is when Eury, Muriel and Morga had to face Goat Lucio in the old Scourge tribe's village. For context, Eury would first become really close with Morga because, oddly enough, Eury finds comfort and acceptance in her presence. She felt like she belonged when they're together, that she wasn't as different as people perceived her to be. Dare she say she was seeing Morga as a parental figure she never had.

But we all know how that encounter with Lucio ended for Morga. And witnessing her death, Eury would turn feral. Her first and only instinct was to come charging in and rip Lucio's head off with her bare hands. It would be a cold day in hell before she runs away on her own will and thus Muriel had to jump in and forcefully carry her away.

There will be a lot of resistance involved while Muriel carried her over his shoulder, Eury fighting him tooth and nail to let herself free. Once they're far enough and Muriel finally puts her down, a verbal onslaught will quickly take place where, for the first time ever, Eury would raise her voice at Muriel. In the weeks they had spent in each other's presence, Eury had been so keen in making sure he felt safe with her. That she meant him no harm. But after what he did, she just couldn't.

"Why did you do that?!", Eury's voice would echo like a piercing arrow in Muriel's ears, the woman's harsh tone catching him off-guard. "What the hell, Muriel?! He was right there! What's the point of all that training if we'd just run away?!"

"Did you expect me to let you jump in and let yourself get killed?!", he would yell right back, their voices mixing into an argument that made their own familiars whimper and keep a safe distance away from them both.

"YES!", Eury would retaliate without hesitation. "I'm a warrior, Muriel! I was meant to fight! Who cares if I died?!"

"I DO!", he would exclaim, the desperation and pain in his voice effectively shutting Eury up. "I would care... A-And I'm sure Morga did, too. So, Eury... Please..."

Eury would stay silent and by the time she tries to open her mouth again, her own words would be swallowed by painful sobs, tears rapidly trailing down her face like a dam that bursts itself open for the first time. Falling to her knees and with the reality of lost settling in, Eury would finally let out the most heart-wrenching cries ever.

Eury crying for real would almost be like a child's: lost and scared. She would try and grip her own arms until her nails dug beneath skin, looking for any sort of feeling underneath all that numbness. She would wail, cry out and scream, her tears continuously soaking the snow beneath her until Muriel finally kneels down and holds her. She would fight back, albeit weakly, at first but would eventually give up and let herself cry her heart out, craddled in his arms. Euryleia had always been everyone else's support, but, this time, it was Muriel's turn to be hers.

Does your character ever feel inferior to others? What traits in other people make them feel inferior? Do they ever act on these feelings?

This took so long to answer, sorry! (๑•﹏•)

Euryleia isn't the type to be insecure but there are times when she feels out of place and, yes, inferior to everyone else in the room. These feelings were subtle before but had become more prominent when she was introduced to the high-class life of Vesuvian royalty. In Nadia's route specifically, Euryleia felt really small when faced by the simplest noble activities like dancing and table etiquette. She's great on her feet but only within the field - the ballroom is an entirely new story. In fancy events, she's nowhere near graceful nor well-mannered enough to not make a fool of herself and Nadia along with it. The way she acts on these feelings however is choosing to stay behind and avoid any mishaps before they can even take place. The upper class life isn't for her and Nadia understood that Eury simply is a free soul, even doing her best to make her feel better even after the Amazon had accidentally set half the dining table in fire.

Hello there~ I actually have three OCs for this Arcana account but since Eury is the only one I post about in this blog (for now), I'll answer for her and her S/O! I'll put it under the cut cause it got spicy way too fast lmao

Euryleia is the kind that everyone would assume as pure and sunshine-embodied but the truth is, she's simply dedicated to one partner and would only show a more assertive side when with her significant other. It's like the 'mate for life' kind of trope with her and of course that includes actual mating. She's generally the more instigating one in the relationship, especially since she has a tendency to be drawn to partners that are more 'submissive' (in a way). She loves playfully teasing them and getting them riled up before ✨ravishing✨ them.

She's rather big and prefers topping but yes, she does have times when her and her S/O's positions are reversed where she's the one receiving. However, she does remain dominant to a degree. Most of the time, it's her holding her partner by the waist while they move against her, guiding them in a way that's pleasurable for both sides. She also prefers sitting up when she bottoms so she's closer and facing her partner, and would always have her mouth full. 👅

Lastly, yes please. With her primal kink, Eury is more of an Alpha but she'll welcome her suddenly-instigating-partner with open arms. But do expect to be slammed against a wall or pinned down within 0.01 seconds. Also, be ready to be sore as hell in the following morning.

Hi there~ To that, Euryleia has only one answer.

"Run."

The female gripped the child's shoulder, her hold was firm but... shaken. She was afraid and it showed as clear as the break of dawn in this field's neverending horizon. The wind was calm and the sun kissed both their bodies in an almost ethereal glow.

But all Euryleia saw was the confused child in front of her. All she saw was her younger self.

And all she saw was her past.

And yet the child looked at her with an expression that only matched her statement. "You're weird, lady.", the young Eury grimaced, awkwardly pulling away from the taller woman that continued to give her a terrified gaze. "I gotta go now. Mother is looking for me so..."

'Mother...', the name repeated itself in Eury's head like the echoes in an empty cave, a sharp strike of fear slashing through her chest upon it.

"N-no... no... no... NO! STOP!", she began to scream, reaching out to the smaller child. She knew where this is going. She knew what happened all those years ago. She knew what they'll do to that child - to her.

But with every attempt to pull her younger self back to safety, the smaller figure continued to grow more distant, farther than she can reach. The more she tried to catch up, the more hopeless it felt as the young Euryleia walked up to the gates to their tribe, fellow Amazons greeting the child by the dozen.

Euryleia tried to chase but she was too late, stopping dead on her tracks as the image of an older woman emerged from the crowd and took the younger her by the hand. The new face gave the child a nod before guiding her to what Eury can only remember as the worst night of her life.

Because it was the exact night she found out the difference between a battle... and a massacre.

1) Which character is the most devoted to another character? Is that character equally devoted to them?

In this pairing, Euryleia is more devoted, relationship-wise because of the 'mate for life' belief she has. But, to be honest, Lucio is just as devoted in his own Lucio way. Euryleia is more protective and successful in keeping him safe because that's what any Alpha does to something they care for; while Lucio has ulterior motives when he does things like trying to look cooler in front of her and earn her affection (tho he already has it). Though, they might have their differences but, in the end, both are willing to sacrifice so much for the other. 💕 Yep, Eury definitely went for the reversed ending in Lucio's route.

4) Are there any characters who don’t realize just how strongly another character feels about them, whether those feelings be positive or negative? Over the course of the story, does anything make them realize? If so, what?

It's definitely Lucio that doesn't realize that Eury is already devoting herself to keeping his ass safe and helping him mend the consequences of his own mistakes. She sees so much of herself in Lucio's past even without realizing it - running away from their problems, trying to make a new life and having their own past catch up to them. However, Eury's relationship with Lucio is waaaay different when it comes to other people. With Asra or Portia, for example, Eury is very sweet and openly caring. With Lucio, she's a lot more rowdy, aggressive and teasing. This made him think that she's not into him as much as he's into her.

And, yes! Remember that scene in the magical realms where MC found Lucio buried in snow? In my own version of the scene, Lucio initially doesn't want Eury to see him crying, what with his pride and their unspoken rivalry to prove who is the stronger fighter between them. But this is also the part where Lucio realizes that Eury cares for him when she basically tackles him from worry, frantically checks if he's okay, and *ehem* smooches his face off. The worry and care she has for him was clearer than day and Lucio definitely is gonna take advantage of that in the near future. ;3

💖 What are some little subtle ways they show that they love each other?

For Muriel, subtlety is everything, especially since the man is still getting used to the fact he's with a romantic relationship with someone now. He does a lot of things but Eury's favorite is when they're sleeping and when the man's defenses are gone. Eury likes being the big spoon but Muriel always unconsciously finds a way to escape her grip and face her while still sleeping, burying his face in her chest or neck. Eury cries a little inside everytime he nuzzles on her because it's too damn cute.

Eury, on the other hand, isn't the most subtle. She will scream to the whole of Vesuvia that they're in love if not for Muriel's dignity. But her little quirks would be thinking of Muriel immediately when she has an idea so she can tell him (even if it's a dumb idea). Eury also prefers for the two of them to be touching when they're in a crowd, even if it's just hand-holding or her arm around his waist when they sit together.

💘 What do they love most about their partner(s)? What do their partner(s) love most about them?

Eury loves a lot of things about Muriel but, most of all, she absolutely fell for his patience and his calming demeanor. Muriel is huge yet he's so soft and gentle. Meanwhile, Eury always has a tendency to use violence as the first resort but having Muriel around keeps her on a more rational ground. She feels really safe and relaxed when with him. Like she doesn't have to always be ready for battle and just enjoy life.

Meanwhile, Muriel's favorite thing about Eury is her bravery and strong will. She's more than willing to stand up for anything she believes in and is never brought down by other people's prejudice. He's often amazed how she can brush off mean comments and still be the optimistic person she is. She's like the sunshine that Muriel had long thought was impossible for him to be so close to.

💍 Which one of them would propose? How would it happen?

It's definitely Eury and, for Muriel's sake, she's keeping the proposal private (or as private as they can get with Asra watching from behind a bush).

I might write an actual fic for this but for now, here's a drabble of the proposal - and a meme that no one asked for - under the cut. <3

Though she's always sincere and affectionate, Eury isn't exactly the most well-versed in the world of romance so she decided that coming to people for advice would be her best course of action. She's also the absolute worst in keeping secrets so she also needs someone with her to shut her up whenever she's close to spilling anything. Cue the reason why Asra is sitting backwards on her horse, leaning on her like a backrest, as they ride for the steppe where Muriel's parents and tribe is at rest.

Because Eury wanted everything to be special, it would take place there, where the land is blooming with fresh forget-me-nots and with evergreen memories. She would want the setting to be natural yet romantic, simple yet meaningful – so what better place than the steppe itself?

Once they arrive, Asra pretended to want to explore the place on his own and left the two to themselves. And that's when Eury's nerves went nuts and, for the first time in her decades of being alive, started think of the worst possible scenarios on how things would go.

They had first visited Khamgalai's gravestone then moved to Muriel's parents. The sun would be setting on the horizon, the steppe slowly bathe in the fiery glow. Then, after replacing the flowers, that's when Eury would start laying hints as she stared at the gravestones with phrases such as "I wonder if you would like me as a daughter." or "I promise to take care of him.".

Finally, with the moon high in the sky, she would finally face Muriel and start explaining why they visited in the first place. "Muri... To be honest, I wanted to ask for their blessing.", Eury would admit, taking the man's hands and meeting his eyes. "Their blessing to... t-to...y-you know... Uhm..."

Then, that's when Eury would begin to ramble and trip on her own words like a complete buffoon, stating how much she loved him, how thankful she is to have him, how happy she was with her decision to pester him until he reciprocated her feelings, how much she adored his personality, his heart, his eyes, his smile, his butt—

Long story short, Asra - who was definitely not hiding behind a bush the entire time - had to jump in and cast a spell to snap the lovesick idiot out of her reverie. The steppe would suddenly be littered with fireflies and the bright evening southern lights. And, under the night sky (and with her shaking nerves), she would finally pop the question, wishing to every gods and goddesses up there that Muriel would even understand what she was saying.

Eury is born in the 31st of March! Generally, I chose the day because it's close to my own and is also a day under the Aries Zodiac that I believe fits her perfectly. :3

Salty Bitters! I'm not quite creative on this but the choice of drink is generally based on her past when she lived mostly in the South End of Vesuvia during her teens and early adulthood. Even after resurrection, it was those places (and their cuisine) that immediately accepted her and gave her a sense of odd nostalgia despite the lost memories. She's also not the fancy kind and prefers a more 'rowdy' atmosphere, thus her immediate attraction on the Rowdy Raven and its best drink. 🍻

Candied Winter Melon! The sweetened ancient fruit is quite rare in the Vesuvian market but there was one time when ships owned by traders from the far Southeast brought in the sweet delicacy and made Eury addicted to something she can only have every other year.

Yes and no. Depends mostly if Euryleia is already in a relationship with them or not. She is not someone for one-night lovers or hook-ups. Only the gods know how many men and women she had turned down on all those nights she spent drinking in the Rowdy Raven. This is because this woman believes (to a fault) in the idea of a "mate for life".

But when she does find someone she's interested in – HOHOHOHOHO ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Grab her attention and she's allover you. Take a hold of her affection and you won't have to worry about being the one to instigate, she'll be the one taking the lead and making sure her partner is loved and pleasured the entire night or day if they're freaky like that. Basically, she's way too easy to get in bed if they're already together or if she's courting the other person.

Though it's a completely different story with alcohol involved or if it's with a friend *cough*Asra*cough*.

A vision comes to you in a dream, of a purple-skinned being lounging around on a sort of fainting couch, one leg draped over the side carelessly. The fiend turns, blackened hair draping away from their face as they pleasantly smile at you.

“Ah, here’s another one. Apologies for having it be so late at night, today was absolutely abyssal. Now, as for your requested question: What sort of voice does your character speak in? Not exactly accent, but tone, and persona? Are they direct and rigid, or more loose and twangy? A silken voice, or a rough and rugged one?”

As they finish asking, the dream snaps away. But there’s a sense in the back of your mind… if you answer, that Azrael, the @oc-ask-demon, will know.

"My, what a dream. I should probably stop binge watching Supernatural every chance I have... Anywho~

Euryleia's voice is particularly loud yet childish, her tone is often filled with innocent curiousity but with a mixture of her rowdy and rough persona. Her voice is deeper than a typical female but by far similar to anyone with Amazon blood like her. She's the type that has to be repeatedly reminded to use her inside voice because, once she gets excited, it's her voice and laughter that is heard in every side of the bar or echoed inside the forest. Though, there are instances where her voice is nothing but throaty or husky, such us when she's horny angry."
