sometimes i think about how easily 17776 could become lost media. its not something you can print out to preserve, or even easily download. its messy and beautiful and euphemeral. the inherent tragedy in that; and yet the joy i found in reading.

Mmmm. 17776 might be one of the few utopian pieces of fiction I can actually see as beautiful and a world I wouldn’t mind living in. I think it’s because tragedy exists within it. And it’s mundane tragedy and also tragedy that is physically incomprehensible to us, who WILL die one day, but very much emotionally comprehensible because it stretches out tragedy’s scope and bounds and who can be considered tragic (the sunken city of New York, where everyone survived but the city is still gone. The lightbulb which stayed on for hundreds of years. The concept of being in love and having to be away from each other for 100 years, even though you are quite literally immortal.) like taffy . And still joy exists, and joy- mundane, pleasant, playful joy- is the force pushing continued existence, pushing the sentience of space probes, pushing the desire for us to pointlessly, happily, play

This was a sector from the galaxy, which has remained mostly isolated from the war. The system managed to remain neutral in the conflict, with both the CIS and the Republic. Although, the jedi wasn’t aware of a reasoning behind it.

Unfortunately, due to being in such a distant part of the galaxy, it meant his communication with his batallion was almost non-existent. That was one of the main reasons, why he felt compelled in giving the peculiar stranger a ride to somewhere. After paying the server, Plo koon returned to the human looking entity. “So, do you mind telling me again, what you were doing in that planet? It’s just out of curiosity, really.”

I made the realization yesterday that Guinevere and Euphemia’s story, now called “The Sun, the Moon, and the Stars” is actually pretty novel worthy since, unlike my other stories, Euphemia and Guinevere are actually human or can be easily converted to humans

Only issue, and this is a rare issue for me, Euphemia and Guinevere both do not have backstories

They have succeeded in killing the monster that was terrorizing the nearby village, but it came at a cost. Somewhere amidst the chaotic battle, Richter made a risky leap at the beast, which ensured their victory in the end. But things didn’t go entirely as he planned or expected. By the end of the battle, he was limping, it hurt to use his foot.

One of their horses survived the attack, and it was dragging the corpse. The animal stayed, just behind them. Much to his dismay, he doubted he would be able to hop on the animal’s back, due to the injury.

As such, he accepted D’s offer and leaned on the way taller dhampir’s body. “That one was a lot smarter, than others of its species. I didn’t expect it would have given us, that much trouble.”

Richter stopped dead on his tracks, the moment he heard D’s voice. He watched over the priest he was talking to walk into the building, before he could respond to his companion’s statement. He waited until there was enough distance so the other, wouldn’t be able to overhear them.

“Oh, that’s right. I almost forgot that.” He responded calmly as he shot a glance upwards. “Well, this shouldn’t take too long. He’ll give the payment, and the batch of new holy water flasks he promised. Then we’ll be on our way back home.” He added in a reassuring tone, while resuming his walk into the church at question. However, just as he was about to step in, a thought crossed his mind which made him stop once more for a brief moment.

“Didn’t you mention how these things are no longer a thing from where you come from? Why don’t you give it a shot? Aren’t you curious about what might be inside?” After asking that question, the Belmont heard the priest usher him indoors which prompted him to fully enter the church.

what type of “i love you” are you?

i love you, i've always loved you, i will always love you

it's commitment, it's devotion, it goes often without saying, but is felt nonetheless. it's accepting that you would travel to hell and back for them if they asked and knowing that they would do the same for you. it's an old ache, long after they've burrowed deep into your chest and settled there like a weight- grounding, an anchor point. even when you're apart, you can still feel the shape of them, it's like phantom pain. neither of you can help but succumb to the other's gravity, yet neither of you fear the collision. it means that you trust them, that they make you feel safe, that they feel like home.

the confession

when you say "i love you," it carries the whole weight of your heart. it feels like closing your eyes and stepping off a cliff. maybe you've been planning to tell them for days now, or maybe it's just slipped out without you realizing, either way, it was inevitable. it's relief and dread all at once, it's mortifying yet hopeful. the words hang heavy and suspended in the air, thick enough to choke on, a brief and perilous moment against the mortal pull of gravity.
