There is a saying that says "everything comes with a great cost, the wait is worth it in the end." Quite frankly, it is true. Some waits are long, some waits are short, some just the right time and he believes that the wait is worth it in the end. Some however don't receive what they are seeking for, they are replaced with a greater value, coming from God, Himself.

And boy did he wait long. But he didn't see you again. He never did. He did receive some news however. Imagine the shock and hurt that he felt the day he found out you died. The day where you took your life away.

They waited for you for years and years, the promises that you made as a child, now broken. It was broken, like their heart. Like glass shattered, and it wounded them. How? Why? What happened? Why?

Who wouldn't be broken? You waited for a person you love for years. Only to find out that they weren't here anymore. That they weren't breathing anymore. That they didn't see the way the sunrises and how it sets. That they can't taste the food that's yet to come, that's yet to be invented. How they didn't see the kids they used to play with grow up.

It hurts. And it always will. Why did you leave? Why did you leave them? You're so selfish, it hurts. It hurts to know that you were gone and will always be gone. It hurts to know that you won't be in their arms anymore. Why did you leave? Why? Why? Why? Why!? Why!
