A friend told me about the Murata leak for Natlán and if its real I am going to be so fucking disapppointed but sadly not surprised.

I've been expecting them to AT FUCKING LEAST do some fucking research on mesoamerican fashion and not just do stereotypical eagle warriors (or worse, doing whatever the fuck is going on with that Murata leak). And listen if thats supposed to be the archon I m going to fucking explode

So many good designs could come just by taking the Mexica pantheon as reference. Since shes supposed to be the god of war she could take some symbolism from Huitzilopochtli! Since, you know, HE IS THE GOD OF WAR IN THE MEXICA PANTHEON

Thats of course assuming we were right about Natlán being based in Mesoamerica (which by the name makes sense since the suffix -tlán is often used in Nahuatl meaning "place of ---" (examples from my country: Suchitlan, Cuzcatlan, Usulutan, Amatitlan.) -tan being the Nawat variant.)

The baby it's finally here! It was a very stressful day, specially for Hannah, who had complications during the surgery. Connor was very nervous, being a first time parent. Still, he got to bring his daughter home, safe and healthy.

Remember the 6 year old girl who was surrounded by Israeli tanks and the red crescent couldn't reach her? Her name is Hind Hamadeh. Here you can hear the phone call her 15 year old sister, Layan Hamadeh, made with the medics. She was killed exactly a moment later including all people in the car, except for 6 year old Hind who was stuck in the car with the dead bodies of her family, Israeli tanks and IDF surrounding her, shooting, preventing anybody to reach her.

That was last night (29.1.24). Today, still nothing. The fate of Hind remains unknown.

palestine red crescent ambulance team went to rescue her yesterday evening, but they have not returned as of now. We lost contact with them about 18 hours ago, and we still remain unaware of their fate and whether they succeeded in evacuating her or not.

im not saying its a bad thing that theyre more inclusive far from it! its great that we dont have to exclusively rely on the community for diversity. but its v clear that they dont actually care abt poc n lgbt ppl, they simply realized these groups make up a large percentage of their customers. see for example how in early sims 4 u literally had to download cc in order to give ur sims human looking dark skin n the last couple of years every pack has at least 2 black hairstyles, a pride flag, some kind of non european cultural clothing, n most of the couples in the trailer being same sex couples or gnc ppl

wild how u can visually see the exact moment in the sims 4 timeline where ea realized that poc, lgbt ppl n progressives in general make up a huge chunk of their audience. u can pinpoint it exactly to the release of city living btw
