I know you’ll probably never come back to this blog, especially given that the Dolan twins have left the internet, but I think as long as I have my own blog here I’ll be following. Your writing was such a staple to me for a long time and it made me feel so much and I have so much nostalgia for it all. I truly truly hope you are doing good in life and are thriving, I wish you luck in all your endeavors <3

It feels serendipitous that I stopped by tonight to see this message just hours after it's asked--I feel such nostalgia for this blog and part of life too. What an amazing community of friends and readers and writers we had, and so many late nights, laughs, and connections. It feels like this little secret I'll carry in life, knowing the ins and outs of this fandom, and having that blip in my teens where I could completely be myself. I will never forget every single one of you who made me feel at home here, and I think about it often. Love you and I'm wishing you luck and nothing but the best. Thank you for such a sweet message.

Surprise

A/N: Credit to @vintagedolan for the idea. I hope I did ok. Also, this is my first fic so please don't roast me. I also haven’t posted anything on this damn website in years so I forget how to add gifs and stuff. The gifs lynds posted were of Ethan Dolan running in and then doing the peace sign so just pretend they’re here or go look at her page which you should be doing anyways. Oh, and I know there’s supposed to be a word count, summary, etc. but ya girl ain’t at that level yet. Ok, enough stalling.

Dating Ethan was anything but boring in the best and worst ways. He was always trying to surprise you with cute dates or gifts of any size- little getaways, big trips, a note in the lunch he packed you, putting gas in your car, or picking up ice cream when you had a bad day. He was also always getting hurt or breaking something. You weren't exactly Miss Grace- you had your share of broken dishes, bruised elbows, and scuffed shoes from all the trips you've had but Ethan always managed to outdo you in all aspects.

Ethan had invited you over to hang out and you were just wrapping up work when he texted you.

bby e: let me know when you're outside

You immediately knew he was up to something. You shook your head and smirked.

You: Oh no. What are you up to?

bby e: nothing

You: You do know I can always tell when you're lying, right?

You: But it's fine. Have your fun. Leaving soon

bby e: drive safe ❤

You finished packing up your stuff and signed out for the day. As you got in your car you couldn't help but feel the excitement in your tummy. No matter how small his planned surprises were they always made you feel special.

As you parked and shot Ethan a quick text, you ran into Grayson walking to the Porsche.

You put on your sweetest smile and asked innocently, "Where you off to, Gray?"

"Nope," he said seriously. After you had badgered him into revealing one of Ethan's bigger surprises- tickets to Hawaii -the boys had an argument which ended up with you trying to pull them apart after they started wrestling.

"Pussy."

He flipped you off as he got into his car and started it up. You stuck your tongue out and he revved the engine in return. You blew him a kiss and he just shook his head as he backed out, trying to hide his smile.

You walked in and set your keys down, kicking off your shoes in the process. Unhooking your bra you caught a glimpse of the living room and noticed a bunch of cushions missing from the couch. You paused in the middle of shoving your bra in your bag but but a crash sounded from Ethan's room before you could process.

"E...? You good?" You called out not wanting to ruin anything he was trying to do. You couldn't handle the pouting after a blown surprise.

He slid into the kitchen, eyes wide and out of breath.

"Heeey," he had the nerve to throw you peace signs like it was the most natural thing to do.

You raised your eyebrows and tilted your head, "Real slick. Whatcha up to? I noticed some cushions are missing."

"Just setting up. Give me like 5 minutes. Wash your hands or something."

"...for 5 minutes."

He just smiled and ran back out. "I'll let you know when I'm ready!"

You went to the bathroom, where you did wash your hands, then sat at the island and screwed around on your phone.

You looked up at the sound of his steps a few minutes later. Ethan rounded the corner with his hands behind his back. As you craned your neck to try and peek, he presented you with the comfy clothes you left there for the nights when you came right after work.

"All that noise for these?"

Ethan walked over to you and gave you a soft kiss, "This isn't the surprise, babe. You know better. I just want you to be comfy."

You wrapped your arms around him, taking a deep breath of that Ethan scent that was all his own. Your cheek rested on his chest and his heartbeat sounded in your ear bringing you more comfort than one of his oversized shirts and a pair of shorts could ever do. Not that you'd turn those down.

Ethan placed a kiss on the top of your head. You could hear him inhale, almost mimicking what you did moments ago. You hoped it brought him the same comfort and feeling of home.

"Change into these and then meet me in my room." He pulled back and looked at you. His eyes were radiating light and the mischievous energy was so overwhelming you had to laugh.

"Aye aye, captain."

He gave your butt a light smack as he released you from his hold and ran off like a child going for presents on Christmas morning.

Trying to make final guesses as to what he could be up to, you changed right in the kitchen since no one else was home.

"Coming!" You yelled down the hall. He was standing right in the doorway waiting.

"Close your eyes."

You rolled them before clamping them shut. Even in doing that, Ethan walked around behind you and placed his hands over your eyes.

"I wasn't going to cheat," you huffed.

His breath hit your ear as you felt his mouth murmur against it, "I know but it's more fun this way." You pressed into him and moved your hips, your hands reaching back to touch him.

"Definitely more fun." You hummed as your hands roamed down his lower back and rested on his butt. You returned the light smack he had given you earlier with one of your own.

Ethan pulled you closer. He kissed your shoulder and made his way up your neck. You couldn't help but moan when he took your earlobe in his mouth. He pushed you forward with his hips and you felt a glimmer of pride at the fact he was already getting hard.

Before you could say anything, Ethan removed his hands with a "ta da!" and shifted to the side.

What you saw as you opened your eyes almost melted you into a puddle of pure fluff.

He had made you a fort.

The cushions from the couch extended from his bed with blankets helping cover the roof. You walked forward, one hand covering your mouth as the other moved the "door" to the side. You could see his laptop with Netflix open, some snacks for the both of you, pillows, and more blankets.

You couldn't help but feel dumb as you pulled back with tears in your eyes. You had showed him a fort from your IG explore page and had said you guys should do it, but you didn't expect him to take it to heart.

Ethan walked over, concern etched on his face when he saw your tears.

"What's wrong, sweetheart?"

His hands came up to either side of your face as his thumbs stroked your cheeks. You placed a kiss on the inside of both wrists.

"Nothing at all. Just so unbelievably and totally in love with you."

His eyes exploded with stars. Ethan leaned forward, his nose rubbing yours. You closed your eyes as you felt those plush lips against yours and heard him say, "Ditto, my love."

You both made your way through the doors and as you snuggled into his side wanting nothing more than to revel in this feeling...the fort collapsed.

Yells turned into uncontrollable laughter once you locked eyes. Another successful Ethan surprise.

and sometimes he’d get a bit jealous of girls that hit on you but he knows your his and he’s yours

car kisses (pt 2) ♥ ethan

(a/n -- well then long time no see lifes been busy at one point i was thinking of giving this account away but I decided it was waaaay too important to me for me to give it up so here I am with a car kisses pt 2 (kinda short but dont kill me)! hope you enjoy!!!)

HERES PART ONE

"Pam!" Your smile widens when you see her, running up to hug her as soon as you enter the doors of your favorite small diner,

"It hasn't been that long, Y/N!" She give you a grin and takes you toward your favorite table, which was right near the window with a nice view of the parking lot. It wasn't all that pretty, no, but it made the whole place seem bigger than it really was.

You sit down as you wait for Ethan to come, as he was being dropped off by Grayson because he was, 'doing something important'. Of course, you were anxious to find out what it was considering Ethan sounded rather excited but- you could be pretty patient when it came down to it, and you knew you could just wait to ask him what was up. After all, Ethan never kept anything from you.

You sigh as you think about how long you two have coming to this tiny little diner. It'd been two years and almost once a month you would come visit pam and get your usual number one, just as you had your first date. And each time the amount of fun and laughter coming from your table doubled.

As you daydreamed about all the good times you and Ethan had in this cafe and in these very seats, you almost didn't notice the quiet ding of the door that signaled that someone entered.

You could feel your face grow into one of delight when you saw your handsome boyfriends face.  

"E!" You say happily and stand up to embrace him and he happily lets you, wrapping his strong arms around you and placing a thoughtful kiss on top of your head.

"My love." He says, almost bowing making you smile and laugh. He rushed to your side of the table to pull out your chair, although it was already pulled out enough, and once you did he slid you forward so that you were in a comfortable position in front of the table.

"Such a gentlemen." you say, and he sits down only to reply with,

"Only for you." Giving you major deja vu.

"Wait wait do the thing!" You say and he looks at you with a face that screams, 'really?'. You respond to his facial expression with your famous plea, "Pleeeeeaaaasseee" You drag out the word making him sigh.

A few moments later he made the most hilarious face you've ever seen, making you laugh hysterically. You and Ethan would have face wars all the time to see who could make a funnier face and, of course, Ethan always won.

"H-How do you do that?" You manage to let out  through all of your laughter. Everyone in the diner had pretty much gotten used to you and Ethan's loud and craziness. One time Pam caught you making out in the bathroom hallway and just shrugged it off, so, you could say you and this particular diner had some history.

"Its a natural talent!" He shrugs and you stick your tongue out at him playfully making him grab your face gently and giving you a quick kiss on the lips. You didn't realize how much you'd missed his lips against yours until he actually did it, even though you hadn't even been away from each other for more than a day. You were about to lean in for one more kiss until Pam arrived.

"Number ones for my number ones." She winked making you and Ethan laugh,

"Oh pam, you shouldnt show favoritism." Ethan says loudly making Pam narrow her eyes playfully, and then he whispers, "Don't worry we know we're your favorites!"

You shake your head at your goof of a boyfriend and then look at him and shrug, "Bone Apple tea." You tell him jokingly and he chokes on his water.

"Bon Appetite?" He corrects you and you giggle,

"Same thing!" You say and dig in. You expected Ethan to dig in, as well, but really he was just staring at you, taking in your beauty. He couldnt even understand how you still managed to look beautiful while shoving food down your throat, and just looking at you made him smile. Being with you made his day better by a long shot and just the look on his face gave that all away.

"I really can't wait any longer." Ethan lets out while you were engulfing pancakes. Suddenly he gets up and then gets on one knee making you stop chewing. You were pretty sure your heart skipped a beat and your eyes went wide.

"Y/N, you are definitely the love of my life and I am honestly not sure how I managed to hold off this long. I love you...I love you more than anything and..." He stops for a second, probably recalling the speech he most definitely prepared, "Oh screw that, Y/N, will you marry me?" He asks, looking the most vulnerable you'd ever seen him.

"Yes!" You say with a mouth full of pancakes, tears threatening to fall down your cheeks. He laughs as you quickly swallow your delicious pancakes and rush to kiss him. Ethan broke the kiss and grabbed your hand, sliding the most beautiful ring you'd ever seen onto your ring finger.

"I was late because I was freaking out. I'm really glad you didnt suspect anything." He smiles and you smile back, happy tears now rolling down your face like a waterfall. You were so happy, and so excited that you jumped into his arms for another kiss. You both smile into the kiss and Ethan mumbles,

"Why're you crying, baby?" He laughs and you pull away for a moment to respond,

"I'm just so happy!" You laugh, "God Ethan took you long enough!" And pull him into one more passionate kiss.

You were forced apart by the sound of plates breaking behind you. Ethan turns his head and you look over his shoulder to see Pam standing there with broken plates surrounding her. You look at her surprised face, confused until she screams,

"I missed it?"

little fun fact about me I’m from new jersey (literally like 25 mins away from the twins) and it made me so fucking happy when Grayson was like “I lost my son...I lost my son in ShopRite!” bc like ShopRite is only on the east coast, so no matter where he is he’ll always refer back to home and I just love that.
