omg i just hit 300 followers!!! thank you so so much, i'm in tears right now, i know i'm probably one of the smaller blogs on here but i honestly never thought i'd have so many people interested in what i have to say about a movie that came out a year ago, especially when i've only been here less than a year!!! sorry for the ramble, but i want to say thank you to all my lovely mutuals for being so sweet and supportive and i've honestly had some of my best times chatting with you guys <33 ugh i love challengersblr <33

Me, 97% of the time: Vessel is kin. I think I can relate to some of his pain but more so I really see his compassion and genius. I hope he knows how insightful and delightfully complex he comes across. He should be so proud but I’d totally get it if I he didn’t; clearly he’s really putting himself out there in order to, as he said In the Room Below, pave his road to greater self acceptance. One of the best things to happen to me is finding this band and having it as the soundtrack to my own difficult but rewarding journey.

7 & 8. Whats something the fandom does to this character that I like and that I despise?

I love when people expand on Merlin’s magic. I think because of budget the show had to rely on very simple magic displays and it’s nice when the fics have him do much cooler stuff because they can. He’s magic incarnate and most of the time on the show he basically just sends a giant gust of wind to push people and it’s not that cool lol.

I despise when people turn him spineless & whiny. Like, there are multiple fanfics I’ve tried reading but I had to stop because they characterize him as having no more autonomy than a baby and I just couldn’t take it.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

I like to think that Merlin enjoys touching Arthur with his magic. Like, if Arthur is cold, Merlin will use his magic to warm him and in doing so, he feels connected to Arthur. And Arthur also feels and enjoys the connection too, he just doesn’t know what it is. Basically when Merlin does this, they both can feel the invisible string that connects them and it’s the most comforting feeling in the world.

21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?

So I haven’t finished a fic for this yet, but I do have one in the works. My favorite thing to write are scenes where his emotions are so intense that it affects the world around him. I like writing about his special connection to the world. Like how he describes how he feels everything vibrating.

As a Shawol, what does SHINee mean to you?

As the years go by, I’ve become more and more grateful that SHINee was the first K-pop group that I discovered and the one I chose to bias. I couldn’t have found a better group to stan than this one. For me, cliché as it might be to say, when I think of SHINee, I see them as the embodiment of light.

SHINee is the ray of sunshine that brightens your day after the heaviest of storms.

SHINee is the glow of the moon and twinkling of the stars that lulls you to sleep at night.

SHINee is the bright pop of color that radiates through the sky during a fireworks show.

SHINee is the flickering flames inside a hearth that chases away the cold.

SHINee is the nightlight that keeps all of your demons at bay.

Every day I’m grateful to have been touched by the light that SHINee gives off and to be one of those that shines that light back on them through the love that I have for them. I can’t imagine a world where I couldn’t turn to them for joy, laughter, relaxation, and comfort. All I know is that my life might be a little darker if I didn’t have SHINee’s light in it.
