O P E N. C A L L S I wrote an article! And I’m pretty pleased with myself for doing it. In this article I talk about artist open calls, why there are entry fees, making the right choices and challenging the norm! Honestly, I was a bit worried about making these thoughts so public. It’s a bit frowned upon to openly talk about why galleries shouldn’t charge artists to apply for their shows but I’m really glad I did.
