#skincaretiptuesday So have you noticed that you still look like you're in your 20's when in reality you're in your 50's? Girl Yaaasss! for the ladies with melanin in their skin we love letting everyone know that black don't crack. However, the truth of the matter is that it does crack it just take a very long time to crack because we have certain factors working in our favor. The melanin in our skin is actually protecting the fibrous protein (collagen) from the UV rays so the collagen does not deteriorate that quick in skin that has high levels of collagen. Now that does not mean we can go slacking on our skincare regimens because our skin does age but it ages at a slower rate. Skin is skin and we must take care of it.
