do digimon adventure ip holders realize they can make a movie abt the original cast without turning it into some big epic tearjerker? Some of us just want to see jou and yamato stand in the kitchen again

#i watched last evolution kizuna...not even touching tri as i don't care and the character design is ass #animation and sound design was amazing. also more daisuke than i expected #but the story oh god. apparently people think the 02 kids were treated unfairly since this is a yamato tai kinda movie #but the complete sora erasure in this movie...don't do my girl like this... i generally don't enjoy how sora turned out past adventure #but this takes the cake lol. and the whole thing abt running out of time or whatever was so forced and unnecessary #especially when TWO DECADES AGO they literally established everyone in their 30-40s still keep their partners #i'd really appreciate if we could move on from adventure entirely cuz clearly the producers have neither respect nor a vision left for them #is it really so hard to make a movie abt giant monsters fighting in cramped cities and destroying a bunch of buildings. hm
