it kinda makes me sad how i was really hyperfixated with bg3 almost from the first days it came out in early access, but after it finally released i did a couple of unfinished playthroughs and now i find this game repellent and even the thought of it makes me exhausted

like, brain, what the fuck??? i remember when i couldn’t do anything for weeks because i couldn’t stop thinking about this game

#i think this is partly due to the fandom and the writers who openly communicated with the fandom #especially the post/massage from one of the writers who says that only astarion has some kind of special relationship with dark urge #and like i was obsessed with durge but i was romancing shadowheart and it seemed to me that she also have a special chemistry with my char #and i also overall had some kind of distaste for astarion and reading this statement really lessened my enthusiasm for the game #like urghhh i know it looks kinda childish but i guess it's just the way my brain works #perso
