also, spicier take - can we PLEASE give c!wilbur at least a LITTLE bit of leeway guys please. i’ve been doing just a tad bit of research into the affects of what he went through in limbo and from what little i’ve already read. guys it is LITERALLY A GODDAMN MIRACLE his brain isn’t scrambled fucking eggs. it is a blessing from the gods themselves that he even has the social wherewithal to have a typical conversation, much less apologize and try to make amends. just because it wasn’t physical pain doesn’t mean it wasn’t torture. and for 13 fucking years????? solitary confinement over 15 days is considered torture in a non-binding agreement by the un and is therefore a fucking war crime if you wanna get technical like. i think he deserves some time to get readjusted to people before we start calling him an abuser for no reason.
