Since now I finally have free time to get to these…

1. Fictional Anti heroes, not necessarily the Duo’s favorite characters to latch onto but they’re respectful of their peers and colleagues like them. Now as for the ones in universe, that’s a lot more complicated. The Duo are strict adherents to the One Rule of not utilizing lethal force when dealing with super villains and henchmen but at the same time they know if they are left with no choice but to partner with an anti hero during a mission or few, they can only ensure to capture the villain and bring them to Justice before the anti hero does their thing but that’s it really since they know also they scant really force an anti hero to give up their lethal ways, said anti hero has to make that choice themselves. This especially gets awkward regarding Red Hood as while Jake still loves his Uncle for everything else and he genuinely does, even Jason realizes he has to drop his MO more often whenever his nephew is nearby despite how tricky it can be since he’s so used to it.

2. Oh Yes they will. I like to imagine them with the following themes

Chris - “Fighter” (Dan Savern) by Jim Johnston

I only heard of this theme as of recently but not I sure wish I heard it sooner because unlike most themes that attempt being bad*ss, this one can legit be called that while also being simple and to the point. I can see Chris playing this to reflect a no nonsense approach to his fighting style

Jake -

See, he’s a Kid who has a tiny amount of Class to him. As a Prince of Tamaran, he knows from his experiences entering the Royal Court on some occasions with his Mother and Sister that entering the room should have music that announces royalty arriving and gets the folks’ attention. Hence only one of favorite wrestlers (about #3 place overall) has the theme to back that regal nature up. Bonus points if Meredith can play as his ‘Manager’ and he does the classic “OOOOOHHHH YEEEEAAAAHH”.

3. I can see those two take in some wrassling themselves as well, both in playfulness in connecting to their siblings better but also in real combat against criminals if the opportunity arises.

Jon - Since move set wise primarily being what you can call a High Flyer, His Finisher of Choice would be A Flying Elbow Drop aka ‘Bombs Away’ as codified by Randy Savage

Ironically though for his theme song of choice, I see Jon playing the theme song used by Savage’s Best Frival (Friend and Arch Rival), Terry ‘Hulk Hogan’ Bollea. He just thinks it’s catchy and he likes it’s guitar riffs

Mar’i - I see her mixing up styles which emphasize both her agility and acrobatics but also precision and using her opponent’s own strength against them; therefore she’s tripartite blend of High Flyer, Flipper and Technical wrestling which the first two are merely slip out of dangerous grapples while the latter builds into how she takes down opponents via submission rather than full take downs like her brother. Hence her finisher of choice can be a submission, The Figure Eight Leg Lock as done by Charlotte Flair

As for her theme song, I can picture her playing the following for her theme song. While not an official wrestler’s theme per say (that we know of), she feels it fits her more boisterous and modern days woman warrior aesthetics and tone

Plus I can also her playing this song for Auntie Blackfire whenever she walks into the Grayson apartment because it suits her too lol

4. Hmmm, Well…

Chris can also discuss with the souls of previous bearers of the Nightwing entity throughout Krypton’s history, both ancient and fairly recent for advise and guidance or for first hand accounts of what they had done in their past lives as said bearers and what their actions led to. Basically think of it akin to when Aang and Korea from Avatar are able to communicate with their past lives for advise, guidance or even assistance in times of distress. It’s that ability only rather being a reincarnation of each other, this talk between them works via The Nightwing Entity themself being able to access the afterlife and bringing the souls to the current bearer for short periods of time.

Oh, and Jake currently practices an ancient technique from the True Master (the kindly old woman who trained his Father in the classic Teen Titans episode “The Quest”) which should he be trapped at a precarious position, including for example literally being buried alive, but he cannot contact his allies via his communicators, he can have his own soul temporarily leave his body and wander until he finds the ally he knows can help and enter their conscience, even temporarily possessing it if he has to. Yes, the True Master has indeed met with longstanding undead hero Boston Brand aka Deadman who has indeed seen this technique in action before. So in case Jake or Dick wind up being buried alive and no access to their utility belt, they use this technique and Boston will be there to help them get the hand of being a temporary ghost.

5. That will probably forever remain this one, an entire climatic story arc with General Zod leading an all out invasion of the Earth, Chris defeating him but his birth father leaves word that reach into Chris’ very soul that he’ll never truly belong to this planet he calls home and that all the destruction caused was ultimately his fault as he was the doorway to the Phantom Zone in the first place. He runs away, fists traveling across the globe for any sort of solace though he still does secret hero work before finally arriving at the Graysons’ place where Jake lets him in and he stays until the time is right to reconcile with the Kents. Even after he sees them once more, it takes Clark having a father to son talk with him on the Moon’s surface that finally gets Chris out of his malaise and accept his words that indeed the Kents are his family, the Earth is his home and that he belongs there. 

Also, I love that Chris, Mar’i and Jon are right there at bedside when Jake awakes in the hospital right immediately after his fateful duel with Victor Zsasz, calm him when he does wake up thanks a bad nightmare, and overall are a comforting presence after such a harrowing night, sharing a massive group hug with Jake happily sandwiched between his Big Sis and his best friend. Sure he hasn’t fully gotten over his trauma, in fact that emotional trauma that’ll plague him for many years to come has only just begun, but this little thing here does help very slightly.

6. Chris - 5. Unlike his brother, Chris is more likely to responsibly inform the school counselors about what’s going on if there’s one nearby, stepping in if he can’t and at first asking firmly yet politely if the bully would cut out his behavior. Should said bully refuses and even attack him instead, then Chris fights back

Jake - 6. Similarly he too would first trying finding a senior official first before stepping in. Unlike Chris though, he demands the bully stop at first. Should the bully refuse and comes towards him, Jake would engage in a tense stare down in hopes his mini glare would be enough for drive the bully away. Should that fail, he waits for the bully to make the first strike to which he immediately counters with one of his own, which has a 95% success rate at taking down a bully on their tracks

Sakura, to most, has always appeared to be a normal girl. Well, save for her pink hair. (Though, with all the heroes running around the world, what’s another color, honestly?) Growing up as a happy, healthy girl in Japan, she had a few friends, and a crush. Friends turned to rivals, then frivals (fight us), and what was a crush, she realized, was close feelings for someone she considers a brother.

While not the very top of her class, Sakura had street smarts as a kid, along with some book smarts. Most of what she could’ve used as studying for classes was spent on how best to take care of her hair and body (which is nothing to be shamed for).

At the age of fourteen, she started to feel... Different. If she’d get injured, she could hover her hands over the wound and with a green glow emitting from them, within a few minutes of her full concentration, the damage would be gone. Countering this, if she wasn’t paying attention enough- particularly when she was feeling strong emotions like anger- she would unintentionally break things.

The principal of the school took notice of this, for she saw herself in the young girl. But she waited for Sakura to seek out her help first. Learning to control what she was capable of was something Sakura wanted to attain herself. It didn’t take long for stories of the older woman to reach Sakura’s ears. Naturally, she sought out the other’s assistance.

None of the training Sakura went through was easy. She had to change herself not just physically, but mentally. Her focus went to her studies and mixed martial arts. She learned to fight, how to heal, how to control her strength. She memorized every system in the human body, how to recognize what physical ailments someone was going through, along with some common and uncommon antidotes.

Of course, she made time for her friends throughout this all. She likely would’ve gone insane without them being there for her. Especially when her dear mentor encouraged her to go on to medical school (which she did).

At 21, she is in between years of school, and has decided to spend some time in America. She spent a few months on the west coast (which she’ll never admit was her favorite), but is currently holed up somewhere nondisclosed on the east coast.

3: Rules of Marriage

Flamesky. A dragon must either marry a dragon from their troop, or marry a dragon who has no troop, which would add them to the group. Loyalty to one's troop is important, so a relationship can't span two troops. (Unless the two decide to merge, which is voted on by the members)

Moonstone. Status is very important to the Moonstones, so it is seen as taboo to marry a dragon of a lesser status than you. In fact, nobles are forbidden to marry common dragons. If they choose to take a commoner in marriage, their future spouse must go through a dark and painful ceremony which is supposed to give them royal blood.

Icestorm. Two dragons must get approval from the Ice storm government before they are allowed to marry. Dragons with weak genes (dark scales, sparse fur, small stature) will typically be forbidden from marrying and producing young. This selective process may actually be hindering the Icestorm's genetic luck.

Seavapor. If there are any unrelated dragons in a family group (or even somewhat distant cousins) their parents will arrange for them to marry, but in the case that there are no options within the clan, they will send their young single dragons out to find partners that would be willing to leave their own families and join thiers. Lone dragons without families are coveted partners, since they are usually very willing to drop their current life and join a new family. Orphans are also quickly adopted to easily add fresh blood to the line.

Earthtree. Earthtrees have loose veiws on relationships and can be a bit... Frivalous. A lot of Earthtrees never marry and instead live with their friends, rather than a partner.

Solarsand. Solarsands don't really have marriage laws either, but each Oasis varries. Some are very strict while others let anything happen without caring. Oasis masters, especially the males, will usually take many spouses. A lot of Solarsands don't bother with the concept of marriage as a legal thing and typically just do what they want with whoever they want to do it with. There are bigger problems to deal with in the desert.

I’m The Girl in the House

One of the youngest too. I get to be spoiled with sweets and new, not handed down clothes. My parents liked to take my side, and punishments were always less.

There was another girl too. My sister, happy to find life in her boyfriend(now husband)with her precious children. She did not go to college. She does most of if not all the housework, even while she works a job of her own. She cleans before we come over, I often times already being there to help with such and my nephews(too young to help but not even on the road to learning) People still call her messy despite her best efforts. It’s hard when she’s the only one. She’s much older than me. I love her and her kindness. I don’t want to be like her. But I am anyways.

With my sister long gone and much older, I had no choice but to get new clothes. I understand the fears of expense, we weren’t off too well when I was young. But how come my needs are frivalous? Perhaps it was becuase I was picky, already hating my image from childhood. Maybe it’s becuase I require more. Bras for the chest that painfully grew since age 8, pads for the blood that flowed soon after.

I remember crying becuase I was told I couldn’t play in the yard when I was so so small. Sure, everyone was older and I probably should have stayed out the way. But even when I was able to be a formidable player, I was never invited in. I grew to hate it, because inexperience made it so I could never catch up, especially without being laughed at.

Even now as a teenager, almost adult, able to see the value in my work do I feel worn and tired.

My brother is an adult, smoking and drinking. It’s nauseating. He was supposed to stay while my parents were away for my safety and they’re comfort. I hate his friends, they scare me. They aren’t allowed anymore. He tried anyways, luckily couldn’t. He should be able to clean up, but he didn’t. He tries to talk politics like mutuals. Talks as if hes valid in his views, which twist my gut and make me feel inhuman. In his own words, and with a smile, calls our views a battle of the sexes. Not a collaboration for betterment.

My parents returned today. My mother cooked. She wanted to. No one helped. Even with guest, and hostessing and deserving to relax she tries to help me clean. My aunts help too. I dry and put away dishes that have been cleaned slowly as she used them. Asking the boys to clean didn’t cross their minds. Maybe I am older than the two boys still in the house. But a high schooler is well abled, and by 8 i was punished if I didn’t help.

I’m safe and sound here, I’m never been told I can’t do something with my life becuase I’m a woman. My mom and dad defend me when the boys are lazy. They’re trying to support their openly Bi, gender role resistant child who had apparently opened their eyes. But I see my future, and every expectation in the women around me. I hate it, I’ll fight it if I can help it. Things surely are better now than in history. But not good enough.

And now as I post this, the first real work of this kind I’ve ever made, I brave myself. For nothing? For it to blow up? Maybe even reported? grace - day! sunny! winter! she loves those crisp winter days where the sun is high in the sky but there's a cool breeze in the air. she's never liked the heat.

una - warm summer days. she loves the comforting warmth and humidity of summer by the sea especially, even if it makes her skin heavy with sweat.

🛍️ function or aesthetic? skirts or pants? heels or flats?

grace - grace has never really had the chance to dress for herself or aesthetic, because she's never had the money to spend on frivalous things like clothes. everything she wears is practical and favours function over aesthetic, although she does favour certain colours - beige, crisp white, and pastel blue especially. she mostly wears long skirts with blouses, or dresses, but after joining the gang she also buys a few trousers to make the constant horse riding more comfortable.

una - mostly function, although una does have clothing preferences if she ever gets the chance. she loves wearing beige linen pieces that don't hug her form and let the air flow through. lots of strappy linen shift dresses, blouses that are two sizes too big tucked into long skirts, straw sandals that wrap up her ankles a little, wide-brimmed hats with slits for her ears. she never gets to wear that kind of clothing often, both because it gets far too cold in the dyrwood for it and also because black or brown leathers are much more practical for stealth (which a large part of her repetoire relies on).

grace - cloud watching, hand holding and early mornings. the hand holding is touchy though for grace, because she's never been big on PDA and likes to keep some kind of emotional distance from people, especially as she gets older and more world-worn. also, it makes her blush.

una - star gazing or cloud watching, snuggles and early mornings. she wakes up with the sunrise most mornings, and loves sitting with a steaming cup of tea and watching the world stir to life around her. she especially likes watching the sun rise over the ocean.

💜 music or silence? swords or spells? cities or nature?

grace - music, neither pistols and small towns. grace's father used to own a small music box that would sing the tune of a lullaby if you twisted it just right, and she used to adore it as a child. it got sold off for the pittance it was worth not long after that, but she always remembers it.

una - silence, swords and nature. cities aren't all bad, but una has always preferred the quiet comfort of nature than the bustle of cities. it gives her more space to think and breathe.

🍆 tea or coffee or hot chocolate? sweet or spicy? fruits or vegetables?

grace - coffee, sweet and vegetables. sweets of any kind were always a major indulgence for grace growing up, since her family could barely afford essentials like bread, and even as she gets older having treats always makes her feel guilty. she does love pastries though.

una - tea, savoury and fruits. she especially loves apricots!
