You know maybe amatonormativity exists but it's hard to say that when I'm 90% sure gay people were not being encouraged to seek out relationships by the wider culture until maybe 2005-ish

They try and make it so fucking cute though it’s disgusting. “Future Veteran”- like the infant they’re inducting into such a mind set won’t have actually served- jsut skip from infancy to the “better part” and ignore the horror of what they have to do and see. They skip right to the part where they come come. But jokes on them, the trauma last forever and it’s heartbreaking and as an army kid with two brothers in as well I can’t thank and support enough but pretending the military numbers and missions are required and beneficial despite the expense of so many lives(not even just our own) and the minds of everyone put through that is disgusting. My brother wasn’t even able to drink when he came back from a tour, and he hid it but it hurt him so bad. He felt he shouldn’t be alive. He’s my moms baby- and that person baby too. So they can go right on ahead with that futures veteran sign. Hope it nips them in the ass and not their kid.

And yes I get I get I GET it’s from Hull Heroes, I know it’s a charity and I’m so for working to support veterans but, I guess we can’t do that without encouraging more to come right?
