                her gaze snapped open, the splattered sanguine slowly morphing into a similar shade of RED. the red that she despised so much.

                his eyes were on hers, this time. the captivating color of ruby she found herself staring into without realizing, and currently, she was staring deeper into them. the eyes that reflected her own image. she could see her reflection mirrored in those ruby optics framed by the locks akin to the color of the night sky.

                and she stared, quietly, wordlessly, as though she was in a trance. the sudden yank from the nightmare she relived slowly mixed into the warmth of reality. usually, when she woke up from the night terror, her bed was empty. it was the coldness of the bed and absence of anyone around her that reminded her how it was real. that she was alone. when she's alone, she knew it was real. however, she felt the warmth of the sheets, the slightly lower temperature of his frame against her own, the steady rhythm of two hearts reminded her who it was.

                yelan looked at him like he was an anchor to reality. and he was, to her, he was.

                " nightmares. old days. " while the words were vague, the informant knew that he, of all people, would know what she meant or what sort of images she had been seeing. he did not ask, he did not prod. there was only a look of acknowledgement.

                yelan found herself resting her head back into his chest as the question rang in her mind. that steady drumming of two hearts became a lull. once again, she closed her eyes and her breathing evened out.

c) ppl say mondstadt feels very homey and since its the first region we're introduced to i can agree!! and its home to a Lot More Mystery regarding the traveler since its the least explored i still think about the upside down statue a lot. but i cant rlly say if i have a Certain favourite that doesnt tie to my favs than my personal taste (the chasm rlly ingrained a Permanent Influence on me regarding sentimentality of loss) so i cant rlly choose!! liyue's got my boy and his peepaw + chasm, inazuma is the start of Really Great World Quests despite how hard it is to thru the region in general + enkanomiya is so Pretty and such a concept, sumeru has the same reasons and the caves are Irritating before the underground layouts are finally integrated in their official interactive maps. i just like to explore!!

Mm, because I have no friends (that I’m aware would be willing for me) to send actual messages to about my F/Os, you’re gonna get some rambling/potential S/I stuff for future crushes (like I said for my Genshin F/Os, I like having the story planned out before revealing them so I can start talking about them right away). It’ll be under the cut.

So, I’ve planned out what my S/I’s visions could/should be for Yelan (cryo) and Shenhe (pyro) but I’m stuck for Heizou and Eimiko (yes, it’s another poly one - i’ve started shipping them and it would be a shame to separate an archon and her familiar) I’m willing to accept any but Geo (doesn’t suit me) and Dendro (temporary ban - until I see how they handle in battle - i need the reference before i could consider it) but I haven’t used anemo or electro yet.

It would be really cute for eimiko x me to be a trio of strong electro women so that’s kind of where i’m leaning for this, and heizou could be cute with an anemo user but idk if another would suit him more...

And then there’s the matter of coming up with weapons for my s/is... like i have a list of the less commonly used combos in the game so i have something more original to use but i am running out of those.

Might reblog this later with more ramblings (esp. once i start figuring more things out) but if you have an opinion or suggestion, I’d love to hear it! I’m doing it this way simply because I don’t have someone to bounce ideas off of so I’m open to anything really :D

i hate to bother you, but as someone who keeps spending any fates/primos to "build pity" before getting the character they're trying to save for...

how do you do it? (also!!! congrats on saving so much omg that's huge!!! you'll defiently get yoimiya, beizhou, and cyno!!! i know it :D)

hjksj its not a bother at all nonnie !! honestly it took me a while to actually, uh, build the patience since i always used to wish whenever i got 160 primos,,,

bUT !! i sort of just told myself that even if i skip a banner, they will still eventually get a rerun if i really do want them after i get my "goal" characters !! and though it may take a while (esp if they already had multiple reruns compared to others) then there will always be new characters to fill in the gap, since new players in the future may want the characters that already had banners before they started (i.e. kazuha, venti, eula, raiden, yae, etc)

and bc i thought like that, i just decided to focus on the characters that i personally really wanted; whether they were powerful, had a really hot cool design, had a really nice playstyle, or i just liked them as a character just factored into whether they were a need on my account HJKFLK

like, with yoimiya i really want her bc i like her design and general character (but i skipped her for ei even tho i ended up getting two eis,,, so really i couldve had a yoimiya already,,,), with baizhu i love him his design, voice and character (and chansheng ;w;) and with cyno he just seems super cool and i really liked him from the bit he was shown in the webtoon !!

overall i would say to just evaluate whether you really like the character and if you do then pull, but if you're pulling for the sake of pulling bc its there, then maybe play some other games? sometimes distracting yourself and repressing the urge with other gacha games or games in general can help a lot !! hkjf personally i just made alternate genshin accounts to satiate the urge to pull on my main 😭 so now i have ayato and c1 ayaka (somehow even tho i was going for yelan,,) on my eu acc and its always nice to play with characters you wouldnt on main :DD

When I’m playing genshin, I’m mostly listening to either Paternity Court, or Steve Wilkos. Imagine the characters hearing all of the stuff and being so scandalized by the results and comments. Or being genuinely disgusted and heartbroken for the victims in more serious cases. I can def see a good chunk of them being invested

I don’t think I’ve listened to those yet! I do occasionally get on a true crime binge listen, however the weirdest thing my characters have heard has gotta be Game Grumps episodes or compilations lol
