The sun hung high in the sky, casting its warm rays over the Kingdom of Liones. The Seven Deadly Sins had just returned from a mission, and the atmosphere was buzzing with the energy of victory. Amidst the celebrations, you found yourself in a quieter corner of the courtyard, catching your breath and relishing the moment of peace.

"Y/N," a deep, resonant voice called out, making you turn around. Standing there was Escanor. The Lion's Sin of Pride, the man whose strength rivaled the very sun itself.

"Escanor," you greeted, a smile forming on your lips. "You were incredible today, as always. What brings you here?"

His eyes, glowing with the intensity of noon, softened slightly as they met yours. "Thank you," he replied, his voice a gentle rumble. "Y/N... listen, there's something I must tell you, something I've been holding in my heart for far too long."

Your heart skipped a beat. Escanor, the indomitable warrior, seemed different—vulnerable, almost. "What is it?" you asked, taking a step closer.

He took a deep breath, his usual bravado giving way to sincerity. "Y/N, from the moment I first saw you, my heart has been set ablaze with feelings I cannot ignore. Your kindness, your strength, your beauty—they all captivate me. Even as I stand as the embodiment of pride, I find myself humbled before you."

You blinked, stunned by his confession. Escanor, the mighty Escanor, was confessing his feelings to you. "Escanor, I..."

He raised a hand, his expression serious yet tender. "Please, let me finish. I know that I am often seen as arrogant, as someone who towers above others both in strength and in pride, and I am. But when I am with you, I feel... different. You make me want to be a better man, not just a warrior."

Tears welled up in your eyes at his heartfelt words. "Escanor, I've always admired you. Your strength, your courage, and your unwavering resolve. But more than that, I've come to care for the man behind the power. The one who is kind, thoughtful, and has the biggest heart I've ever known."

A rare, genuine smile spread across Escanor's face, bright as the sun he drew his power from. "Y/N, you have no idea how much those words mean to me."

Without hesitation, you stepped forward and wrapped your arms around him, feeling the warmth of his body against yours. "Escanor, I care for you too, deeply."

For a moment, the world seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of you standing there in each other's embrace. The powerful sun above seemed to shine even brighter, as if blessing the union of two hearts.

As you pulled back slightly to look into his eyes, Escanor leaned down, his lips capturing yours in a tender, passionate kiss. It was a kiss that spoke of promises, of shared strength and mutual admiration.

When you finally broke apart, both of you were breathless, yet filled with a new sense of completeness. "From this day forward," Escanor murmured, his forehead resting against yours, "I will be by your side, protecting you with all the strength I possess. For you are my sun, the light that guides me."

"And I will be by your side, Escanor," you replied, your heart swelling with love and joy. "Together, we can face anything."

and if the age gap is larger than 20 years he might sometimes wonder if you’re truly serious about being with him

or if you just try to get something out of this relationship

it’s just pretty hard to believe that someone so young would want to settle with him

Lady (Y/N), you don’t have to pretend to like older men for my sake. If this relationship causes you any sort of discomfort we can end it.

in the beginning, he would also feel kinda of disgusted with himself for harboring such impure and inappropriate feelings toward someone younger

so yeah it takes a lot of time for him to get used to it and overcome the insecurities he had concerning your relationship

of course, there is also a lot of teasing coming from the other sins 

especially those who are around your age

after all, you decided to be with him so don’t come complaining now lol

Escanor

It is upon the earth that your heavenly song of dance had shook the wind and the trees with joy, you could dance forever, if you could. The lion could consider himself blessed by the ones above, who ruled all over the clans and even the deities themselves. 

You continued about, letting the energy lead even the tiniest of your movements. 

So on and so forth, you hadn't come across many songs through writing – though you had experienced plentiful things considered a once in a lifetime thing to the ordinary human, trying to ascertain the perfect movement to the musical notes of the earth was difficult. Something you would never admit to anyone else, as you found it to be embarrassing. 

Trying to vy for the movements, and to bring them to life perfectly was not something that usually comes so easily.

"Pardon my intrusion my dear," A voice snaps you out of your quiet entrancement, causing you to stop-freeze right in the middle of what you were posing. “But I couldn’t help but take notice of what you were doing.”

You snapped with a remark, though no clear aggression was behind your words, “Oh yeah, failing at what I do best.”

He winces, noting the possible implications–features contorting with slight hurt despite the slight of venom. You sighed in defeat, steadying your balance as you brought both your feet back in alignment with the ground.

“Sorry, this has been–” You trailed off, trying to find the right words.

“Frustrating?” Escanor finishes for you.

You nod, brows strewn askew in clear embarrassment of your frustration and anger. Escanor could, in a way, understand this. He stepped closer as he spoke, “When I find it… difficult to find the words when writing a poem, I think about my past and possible future experiences.” You raised a brow, tilting your head and not interjecting at all as you wanted him to continue on what he was getting at. 

So he smiles, “The past and the future can go hand in hand, you can consolidate; your experiences, feelings about the future and just pour everything about how you feel into it. Let it lead you for the matter of the time.”

There was a pause, as if Escanor wanted to add on something else.

“Perhaps don’t be idiotic in letting it lead you the whole time however.”

Feelings welled in your chest, causing you to bark out a laugh as you held your stomach. The fits of laughter caused you to shake, you attempted to take a few deep breaths in order to calm down. Shaking your head and lifting it, you offered the prideful man a smile. 

“Jokes aside, I think I see what you mean now.” You commented thoughtfully. Though, truth be told, Escanor enjoyed the melodic sounds that could only come from you, “I’m gonna try again.”

“I’m happy to inspire you.” He chuckles, “I can’t stay for longer sadly.”

You nodded, stretching your limbs to be warmed up quicker. So Escanor leaves the hindering atmosphere, leaving it in a brighter mood. 

This certainly gave him inspiration to write a new poem!

Ban

If anyone were to tell the sin of greed he would be entranced by something so simple yet so delicate, he would’ve laughed and shook off the notion.

Yet here he was, being proven wrong.

“Yo, whatcha’ starin at?” A teasing tone called out, causing Ban to whip his head toward the source of the voice with an incredulous glare. 

Clear as day, Meliodas with his grin. He was unpredictable, and all the likes. Normally he could put up with whatever bullshit his captain always seemed to be thinking of, but right now, Ban would not take this. He was interrupted and he certainly didn’t appreciate it. 

His silver brows furrow in questioning, “Whatever you got grindin’ your gears capt’n I swear…” Ban remarks, his tone almost threaded with that of a threatening one. The cheeky bastard raises both his hands in surrender, his eyes flitting to a close. Ban sighs, rolling his eyes as a small smile crept across his lips. 

Meliodas took notice of this, his gaze swept across the room, seeing clearly what he was looking at–

Who he was looking at actually.

“Not bad right?” The blonde comments, the rapid movement of his brows clearly insinuating something else. 

Ban huffs, taking a moment to re-adjust his body position. After a while, the features on his hard stare seemingly softened, “Yeah, I could watch em’ go on forever.”

it’s a rather peaceful day in britannia, well, as peaceful as it can be with demons currently invading the realm. 

as a druid, you’ve been working overtime trying to fend off lesser demons and also heal up any citizens that had gotten harmed during an attack. what you weren’t expecting, however, was to be tending to the seven deadly sins’ strongest member. that’s right, the person you're currently tending to is none other than the lion sin of pride, escanor, himself. it almost feels surreal.

he’s badly hurt. from what you’d gathered from the other sins, he was engaged in a battle to the death with meliodas who had gone on a rampage in his assault form. he was able to put the demon prince out of commission, but the whole ordeal took a toll on him.

currently, you’re healing his wounds and applying some herbs to help as well. your healing skills might not be the most proficient, but you’re damn good at making medicine and ointments.

escanor, beginning to regain his consciousness, reached out and grabbed your hand when it hovered over one of his wounds. you blink in surprise, then offer a kind smile. his reflexes are incredible.

“lord escanor,” you start off gently, “it’s a relief that you’re awake. how are you feeling?”

the lion sin looks at you, his tight grip on your wrist slowly lightens. he sits up and observes you, studying you carefully.

“my apologies, miss, i wasn’t familiar with your presence, i acted on instinct. i do hope i didn’t hurt you.”

you smile gently. “no need to worry, my lord, i’m quite alright. you however, are not. you need to rest a bit more, so please lay back down. i shall inform your comrades that you’ve awakened.”

escanor nods, he isn’t going to go against the gentle orders of a woman such as yourself. you’ve gone through the trouble of tending to his injuries, so, of course he’ll comply.

after relaying the news to merlin, you head back into the room to keep tabs on his condition. in your hands is a bowl of food and a glass of water. 

“it’s important that you get your energy back up, my lord. fighting with demons as strong as the ones you face is quite taxing,” you gently set the bowl down in his lap and keep the glass on his bedside.

escanor silently watches as you go about your duties. “thank you, it’s a pleasure to have such a beautiful woman tend to me. i feel better already, thanks to your lovely self.”

your cheeks flush in embarrassment from his praise. who knew this scary man could be such a sweet talker? then again, you heard he was a lover of poetry, so it adds up nicely.

you two spend the hour talking, but it doesn’t take long for trouble to see you guys out. the tavern begins to rock and you’re damn near thrown into the window. if it weren’t for escanor catching you by your wrist, you would’ve gone flying. when the tavern settles down, you’re draped across his lap, wondering if you’d made the right decision in taking up meliodas’ offer to join their crew. 

escanor’s large hand rests on your lower back. “are you alright, my dear?”

“uh, yes… my lord…”

escanor gently lifts you off his lap and gets off the bed. “unfortunately, miss, i have to resume my duties. thank you for your service.” he takes your hand and kisses it before briskly walking out the door and going to join the other sins downstairs and you’re left internally reeling.

“what the hell just happened…”

Okay crossover post, what weapons would the seven deadly sins main in Splatoon?

In honour of the grandfest being over, I'm giving my thoughts 😌✨

Meliodas: the obvious choice would be some kind of splatana for the sword thing, but I think he'd go dualies for the Dodge rolls. He'd have splashdown but I think he secretly wants to wreck havoc with the ultra stamp

King: is not a physical fighter for shit, so I'd say some kind of long ranged tri-stinger, but the important thing is he wants an inkjet because he's good in the air

Ban: I can't see him with a gun type weapon, but definitely something with high damage where he can get close and personal with his enemies, so a slosher (or, on occasion, a heavy splatling when he wants to be extra) and I think he'd have the tacticooler as a special, keeping it lowkey and having a chilled drink mid battle sounds like him

Merlin: baddie with a charger, doesn't care to be right in the centre of battle so she snipes from the back lines, and she is damn good at it. I think she'd have a more tactical special like the wavebreaker so she can mark where her opponents are

Gowther: I also think he'd be good with a stronger weapon, something majestic about them, he'd pick it based on the design only. I think he'd have inkzooka as his special, because you'd underestimate him and then BAM

Diane: multi-main queen, she's definitely more of a fighter so I'd give her a front line weapon like a roller or the sploosh (had to give someone my beloved main) but she's really fine with anything. Obviously, had to give her the ultra stamp, because, you know, giant hammer. But if it weren't for that, I'd say booyah bomb because she wants to make an impact

Escanor: heavy hitter, huge power, gotta be a blaster. I'm thinking a one-shot blaster like the S-blast because he would absolutely destroy you. For a special I would have to go with the crab tank, because he himself is a TANK. But he's too prideful to use the special, though

Elizabeth: depends on which season. Season 1 Ellie I would give the blobobbler, because she'd be throwing bubbles everywhere and not know what's going on and somehow get 20 kills. And she'd have the big bubbler as a special because she wants to protect her teammates. Season 4 Ellie would use some kind of small in design, but powerful shooter, like the classic splattershot or even a sploosh if she wanted some damage. I have to give her the booyah bomb because of arc of course, but she'd still use the big bubbler from time to time

Percival Sword (sword consisting of the fragment of the Coffin of Eternal Darkness) Material: Steel Weight: 3.2kg Maker: Howzer Magic enchantment: none A sword whose blade is attached to the fragment of the Coffin of Eternal Darkness that sealed the Demons in the past. The handle being heavy, a thick blade had to be attached to it to restore balance. No sort of magic was enchanted onto it, but its robustness is guaranteed. The name Percival Sword is not very popular.

Divine Sword Rhitta Material: Unknown metal Weight: 38kg Maker: Unknown Magic enchantment: Unknown The weapon was made of the fragment of the Divine Axe Rhitta owned by the Lion's Sin of Pride Escanor of the Seven Deadly Sins, it is too large and heavy to be a one-handed short sword. It is enchanted with the magic that makes it to answer its wielder's call and fly to them even from a distant location. It also has a special characteristic to store the power of the Sun.

Estarossa (front) and Mael (behind) Material: Steel Weight: Estarossa - 2.1kg; Mael - 0.6kg Maker: Rizer Magic enchantment: Thitis Two swords that bear the names of Estarossa of the Ten Commandments and Mael of the Four Archangels. Estarossa has the power to break the target's magic defenses but Mael is enchanted with magic so that he the enemy's mental attacks can't reach him so easily. Tristan being ambidextrous, these weapons are made for him.

Spirit bow Material: Ebony Weight: 0.1kg Maker: Lancelot Magic enchantment: Harlequin Lancelot made his own short bow by scraping ebony wood. His uncle Harlequin the Fairy king blessed it so it is as light as a feather but when held by anyone but Lancelot, it returns to its former weight. The arrows are imbued with magic so that once taken out of the wristholder, they revert to their original length.

Sleipnir Cernunnos Arakdo Cynopronpi King of Purgatory

The Purgatory is a different dimension not belonging to this world, the Celestial realm, the Demon realm or the Fairy realm. It is a world of toxic atmosphere where the burning heat and the freezing cold mix, and the creatures that inhabit it have all a very tough life force. It is said that a king called the Mother of Chaos lives there. It seems like the king Arthur entrusted his retainers and Holy Knights Turret and Rothes to capture the Purgatory creatures.

Heh, did you think I can only transform into the fox!? Pugoh.

Ooooh!! You myst be fatty and yummy… no, you are a cute little pig!!

Does the Fairy blood runs in Lancelot's veins? In fact, not all Fairies can transform. The ones who can don't geneerally possess that many patterns.

It is camouflage arts for them. It'd be nice if they could transform into one shape other than that of a Fairy. But Lancelot tends to be a perfectionist about it, I heard he had a strenuous training to transform into different patterns.

It may have been his half-Human blood running his body that does it to him… Don't you go explain things on your own! I didn't want him to hear everything!!! Heh…

Interesting!! I think Anne will enjoy it too!! However there's one problem…

Oh.

Everything until the sealing in the incantation orb works out but as soon as I break the orb, the pudding loses its shape!!! Outside: Raaaaah! And hardening it would spoil its taste… Can I tell you something?
