well before Season 2 of Earthspark dropped, we were thinking about what a post-GHOST situation for transformers and Maltos would look like, & thought a team up w/ Earth Defense Command would be cool. Marissa Faireborn teaming up with Dot, Arcee, Elita, & the kids would have been awesome. An international situation (?maybe UN mandate?), & Marissa would have a genuine interest in improving life for both bots and humans. plus she'd be Schloder's boss which would be funny bc if drawing on her pacifist Occupy Wall Street IDW1 self (who only joined the military because of a genocidal world war invasion by the Decepticons) she'd have a very different view of the USA and how to protect democracy😆

Holy shit, I found RBA Ratchet and Earthspark Elita One for the same price at the same store.

FINALLY I HAVE A RATCHET!!!!

And this is my first Earthspark figure -- I wonder if it was priced incorrectly? Seems weird for a toy from the brand new line to cost the same as an older figure, but then I know Hasbro tends to categorise prices based on size rather than release line, for the most part.

Either way, worth it.

Update: I am playing with the RBA Ratchet figure

I can tell he's designed for toddlers because all of his edges are rounded (including his chevron points), so that when a child starts smacking you with it or throws it at you, it won't hurt LMAO

But it's a lovely sturdy little figure!!! :)

He converts from root mode to alt mode pretty easily, there isn't even an instructions booklet; I've decided that pulling his arms in and out is the best way to do it, although you can fold his legs a bit inward and it snaps into place that way, too.

Honestly this is one of the best of the one-step changers, he looks cute in root mode and the alt mode is actually pretty nice, with a port in the roof once he's in alt mode so you can mount accessories to him!

His hands also seem to grip any accessories, so he can hold stuff pretty well, although of course his arms and legs have fairly little flexibility.

This is a great desk figure, because he's super balanced on his feet, he's stocky enough that he doesn't take up too much space even though he's a chonker of a figure, and he's pretty lightweight too.

His face has a little smirk on it, which is also excellent. We love the confidence!!!

10/10 honestly this is a super good RBA figure, definitely a nice desk top toy and if you have kids/younger siblings, this is a super good choice
