Fabio Rovazzi - Tutto molto interessante Another absolute banger. It’s so stupid but I love it so much, and also Rovazzi’s a cutie.

9. One song that you think people in general wouldn’t like but you do?

Impellitteri - Punk This one is one of those... odd ones. Really. I could understand if people thought this song was just a flaming bag of garbage but i honestly love it. It’s so fun and badass at the same time.

10. One song people normally like and you don’t like or hate?

Tones and I - Dance monkey See, the problem here is that I have no idea what people these days listen to :DD i’m just working off of the assumption that this song is still somewhat popular bc I literally didn’t recognize anything else on the hot 100 list, and this is the best I can do :D

11. One song you would call a masterpiece?

Queen - Show must go on Had a hard time picking between Bohemian Rhapsody and this one, but ended up going with this one, mainly because the music track sounds so much more pleasing to my ears. Also the lyrics are beautiful, and knowing Freddie’s struggle when trying to record that song? It just hits you in the guts with how masterful the entire thing is.

12. One song you recently (last 30 days max) discovered and really liked it?

In this moment - The in-between They dropped the whole album during this quarantine, so I had quite a lot of new music to listen to, but this one song was the first one I heard and the lyrics really got to me.

13. One song you listen to get pumped like you wanna tear down the fucking government or something?

Fall out boy - The last of the real ones This song is my go-to whenever I need a boost. idk how or why it works but it gets me really pumped every time.

But seriously, classical flautist in a classical orchestra would be my ultimate dream yet i currently work in tv go figure (i did previously want to be an editor but since having this job and being able to do some of the edit, i have realised that mentally i cannot cope with 12 hour days stuck looking at a screen in the same bleak office with strict deadlines and arsehole supervisors so yeah, tv is fun and all, i like the fact that you’re not bound to the same people forever and there are some lovely people in the industry, the hours make you go mad granted but i get to drive the actors around and stuff in my current job and they are lovely, but i need something more creative and freeing and yeah, i like my job, i really do, but i think mentally it is having a negative impact on me and that isn’t great™) music has always been the one thing i fall back to and never really leave though so if i can’t get paid to write fanfic for a living then i guess i’ll have to go with that lmao (jks, music is my life i can’t live without it, i need to work in music to stay somewhat sane)

Dream trip: travelling round Scandinavia because it’s all so pretty and also maybe a visit to Ōkunoshima island becuase so. many. BUNNIES.

Do you play any instruments?: i play the flute mainly and i love it with my whole heart, but i can also play piano, sing and dabble on violin and guitar

Headcanons about Fabri being in a sad mood and Erm trying to confort him and vice versa

I got sad imagining them being sad :( i hope this was worth the long wait!!

FABRIZIO

There aren’t many things thatwill make Fabri sad, but once he’s feeling down it takes a lot to pick himup again

Ermal hasonly ever seen him truly sad twice, when libero had severe food poisoning andhad to be hospitalised and the other time when they almost got disqualifiedfrom sanremo (even that’s more angry than sad)

WhenFabri gets sad he just shuts down and retreats to a corner quietly

He won’ttalk, won’t eat, won’t do anything much but spend most of his time on his ownleaning against the wall, hiding his face in his hands

Hedoesn’t cry often but at times when he’s overwhelmed he’ll break into tears,shoulders shaking with every sob, and even then he’ll still keep quiet

He’sspent most of his life turning sadness into anger and brooding, but now thathe’s older he handles sadness a different way, he thinks he has to deal with iton his own, so he chooses silence

It’s abad way of coping, he’s aware, but he doesn’t want to push his problems onto thepeople he love, especially not ermal

One timeErmal comes home, feeling very excited to finally spend some time with Fabri, he has alot of things to tell fabri, one of it is the idea of a european tour that histeam’s been discussing

But…where is bizio?

Ermalpaces around the house, checking the bedroom, the kids’ rooms, the kitchen,everywhere looking for him

There’sstill a place he hasn’t checked though, the home studio located at the back ofthe house

It’ssilent, so he knocks first, but nobody answers

“Bizio?Are you in there? It’s ermal, can i come in?”

Ermalknows Fabri is inside because there’s a shuffling noise followed by a sniffle,and he starts to worry when the thoughts of what might’ve happened to fabrizioenter his mind

He opensthe door and finds fabri inside, sitting hunched over on the floor

At thesound of the door opening, fabri looks up, his red eyes, tear-stricken face nowvisible

Ermal’sheart sinks at the sight “Bizio…”

He rushes to embrace fabrizio, hugging him tightly, rubbing his back comfortingly

He lets fabri take his time to calm down, doesn’t push for explanations, just holding fabri in his arms

It’s fabrizio who first speaks, “I’m sorry, ermal… i didn’t want you to see me like this”

Ermal shakes his head, the last thing he wants to hear is an apology from fabri “Mi amo, you know you can tell me if anything’s wrong, right? It kills me to see you sad. I want to help if I can, please”

So fabri starts to talk, turns out they had to cancel two of Fabri’s concerts because of some venue booking error and fabri is sad because he’s worked hard in making sure that everything’s according to plan (he’s a bit of a perfectionist) and now he’s disappointing his fans

“They have to refund everyone and we can’t get a place for the same date. Even worse is that there was a bunch of kids from a music school coming, they can’t afford to have things canceled like this” The way fabri says it breaks ermal’s heart

Ermal knows how much fabri loves children, he’s always trying to make them happy with songs and hugs… something like this must’ve upset fabri a lot because it feels like he’s disappointing his own kids

(“Why don’t we invite them to my concert? It’s the same date and it’s not too far away from yours. I know they might not be fans of my music but at least it’s something” “And I’ll be your guest of honour?” “Why are you even asking, you already know the answer” “You’re really encouraging the swinger rumours, ermal”)

Ermal makes the arrangement right away and fabri brightens up at the good news, it’s like a huge weight is lifted off his shoulders

All that stress wears fabri out so he takes a nap on ermal’s lap, ermal’s comforting voice talking softly about his day lulling him to sleep

ERMAL

When ermal is in a sad moodnobody would know because he is that good at hiding his feelings

He’ll still be smiling andlaughing, making jokes and roasting everyone as usual but something will be off

Like, his smile doesn’t reallyreach his eyes, his laughter lasts one second shorter than usual, he makes moreself-depreciating jokes than normal and he stares at the ground when theconversation stops; little things that pass unnoticed by everyone

Except for fabrizio of course,because fabri’s favourite pastime is watching ermal so he notices these things

They’re at a mutual friend’s housewarming party when fabri first senses it but he doesn’t say anything, he doesn’t want ermal to get defensive

But as the day goes on, it becomes more obvious that ermal is upset and now fabrizio feels angry because who dared to hurt his ermal???

Before he can kill anyone for information, ermal comes up to him and grabs his hand, whispering a tired “bizio i want to go home”

The entire ride home fabri keeps glancing at ermal until ermal asks, still in that teasing voice “why, is there something on my face?”

When they arrive, ermal goes straight to bed, so fabri thinks it’s the perfect time to execute Operation Cheer Ermal Up

He cooks ermal’s favourite food and opens his favourite wine, then rushes out of the house to get some flowers: a pretty bouquet of red, pink and orange gerbera

He knows how much ermal lovesflower languages so he did his research: gerbera means happiness, joy and relief from sorrow

And the colours represent love, admiration, faithfulness

Basically “I want you to be happy, my love”

When he enters the room, ermal is lying on the bed with a pillow over his face

Hearing the door opening, he quickly sits up and tries to appear cheerful but fabri sees right through the facade

Fabri presents him the flowers and sits down next to him on the bed, taking his hands in his, kissing them softly

Ermal takes one look at flowers and realises what this is about, and he whispers, full of mixed emotions “Bizio…”

“Ermal, I notice you’ve been feelingdown lately, and I understand if you don’t want to talk about it but I want youto know that I’m here for you, always”

And now ermal feels like cryingbecause “sempre” is a beautiful word on its own but when it’s said in fabrizio’svoice it’s somehow a thousand times more precious

He doesn’t even realise the tearsare falling until fabri pulls him to his chest and kisses the top of his head, rocking him back and forth

Ermal clutches onto fabri’s shirt and buries his face onto fabri’s shoulder, letting the sobs escape him

Fabri’s touch is a source of warmth and  comfort and it’s not long before he calms down again

He’s not entirely sure he can talk about what made him sad yet without breaking down again but he feels a whole lot better now

Fabrizio doesn’t push the topic further, Ermal’s always kept a lot of things to himself but what matters is that he knows that fabri will always be there for him

They kiss sweetly, over and over again, until ermal starts to smile again

Fabri almost forgets about the dinner kissing ermal meta does that to you but he remembers just in time before things get too heated up 

“Wait! I still have something for you!” Ermal laughs when fabri brings in a tray full of food on it

(“I’ve heard of breakfast in bed but never dinner inbed!” “What do you mean, ermal, you had one yesterday” “What, what did I eat?” “Me” “Biziofor god’s sake”)

What kind of impact has 1 left on your life?

When I can’t sleep or feel anxious their music never fails to calm me down, it always works for me and I think Benjamin Gibbard writes really beautiful lyrics.

How did you get into 2?

I had this phase when I was really into Youtube and I was following pretty much every English youtuber I could find (mainly because I really like the british accent lol) and one day I found this video of a pretty girl with a ukulele and this beautiful amazing perfect angel voice and I basically fell in love. and bought a  uke. wow. why  am I so extra. omg.

Is there any song by 3 that makes you sad?

This band has very deep and meaningful lyrics and their songs give you a lot to think about, but I must say their songs usually put me in a good mood because there is always a sense of community in them, Tyler writes in a way that turns personal feelings and doubts and insecurities into a general feeling of belonging, he is telling you it’s okay to feel a certain way and gives you the hope you were desperately looking for. If I have to choose the songs that make me sad (but like in a good way, you know?) I would say Anathema, A car, a torch, a death, Addict with a pen and Neon Gravestones.

It’s very hard to choose but these words have a special meaning to me:

What’s your favourite song by 7?

Simple and sweet. (all his songs are amazing, I don’t even listen to this genre but the guy is a genius)

What’s your favourite song by 8?

Caught in the Middle. (I really like their latest album, it’s very different and fresh)

What’s your favourite song by 9?

Girls/girls/boys. I am forever grateful to this song.

How did you get into 10?

Many artists I like mentioned them between the bands they listen to so I figured I would like them as well and I was right :)

Assunto che il luogo dove hanno fatto il concerto faceva cagare. Assunto che c’era un fandom di merda ieri, composto da gente che andava da sopra i 40 anni oppure erano bambine/ragazzine. Assunto che il mood era molto down dovuto a quei cazzo di posti a sedere e alla security che ti sparaflesiava con il laser appena ti muovevi o ti alzavi durante una canzone “lenta” (tanto che poi alla fine Ermal, nell���encore gli ha dovuto dire “fateli avvicinare”), posso dire che Ermal ha una voce da Dio.

Non si è fermato un attimo, ha parlato poco (mi aspettavo molte più battutine ma in realtà ha cantato per quasi due ore non stop anche se è arrivato con mezz’ora di ritardo xD) e si è concentrato sulle canzoni tanto da non sbagliare neanche una volta i testi!!!

Devo ammettere che, per me, Ermal da il meglio di se quando è al pianoforte o quando suona la chitarra (c’è quell’intro di chitarra che fa prima di Molto bene Molto Male che è bellissimo) e mi piacerebbe davvero tanto suonasse di più. che facesse più part acustiche. Molto belle 9 Primavere, Volveo Dirti, Mi Salvi ci Può e Umano. Sono state le mie preferite.

La scaletta era sempre la solita, fatto salvo per il bis dove ha fatto solo due canzoni, al contrario di altre volte dove spesso faceva un po’ di canzoni di LFDC ma, in tutta onestà, credo fosse scazzato un po’ anche lui, probabilmente ha avvertito anche lui la “freddezza” del pubblico...

Molto carina è stata la fan action durante Io Mi Innamoro Ancora, con i coriandoli...non credevo però ha fatto un bell’effetto.

Una cosa che ci tengo però a sottolineare è che io, i musicisti, non li sento. Usano spesso delle basi con i bit delle canzoni e questo copre molto gli strumenti anche se l’acustica era bellissima, Ermal si sentiva in maniera chiarissima e forte però gli strumenti, boh...io me li perdevo. Il basso lo sentivo solo se mi applicavo, le chitarre...niente... ma credo che la causa siano le basi con gli effetti che usano.

MOMENTI DIVERTENTI:

Ermal che, durante io mi innamoro ancora fa “A questa vita io LE voglio bene” e ride.

Ermal che va ad abbracciare Vigentini durante Rein ne va plus (credo fosse questa la canzone)

Ermal che, durante Straordinario, fa “così fate anche i glutei” e inizia a sculettare

Ermal che intona un “Solo noi, solo noi, Ermal Meta ce l’abbiamo solo noi” in tono da stadio xD

Detto ciò, ciò detto... voglio andare ad un altro concerto di Ermal perché questo mi ha lasciato molto amaro in bocca.  Non è stato come me l’aspettavo e, ripeto, non per colpa sua che ha cantato divinamente, ma per i mood tutto intorno.

Per quanto riguarda l’outfit, la giacca era bella dai xD poi se l’è tolta subito restando in t-shirt (quanto è secco? Perché non mangia? DEVE MANGIARE!!!!).

Non posso non fare commenti e paragoni con Fabrizio purtroppo. Quest’ultimo ha sicuramente 10 anni di esperienza in più e ha un modo di affrontare il placo diverso. Ti coinvolge molto di più così come i suoi musicisti che, credetemi, spaccano.

Molto poi dipende dai fans. IO, al concerto di Fabrizio, ho incontrato tutta gente della mia età, con cui ho parlato e scherzato anche senza che le conoscessi. Qui, no. Non ho parlato con nessuno perché tutti mi sembravano molto “sulle loro”. Tutti si credono i best fans ever, showing off tutte le volte in cui l’hanno incontrato o c’hanno parlato e gli vorrei dire “Bitch calm the fuck down because he won’t make out with you anyway!!!” Poi odio il fatto che Ermal sia  visto come il cantante pop per famiglie perché non lo è!!!!! È molto altro, è un metallaro rinchiuso in un’etichetta da cantante pop. LIBERATELO. LIBERIAMOLO.

Basta la smetto.

What kind of impact has 1 left on your life?

Niccolò literally saved me last year. I was in a bad mood, I didn't feel  emotions anymore, I felt alone and I didn’ t find the desire to continue like this: nothing had no sense. His music made me realize that I was not alone and made me move after a long time.

How didi you get into 2?

I was on a student trip and one of the last days, the teacher made us sing Photograph: I started to cry because it was such a touching song and when I came back I started listening his songs.

Is there any song by 3 that makes you cry?

“You found me” becouse of the lyrics. It is a distress call to someone who is not there when you need them

How many times have you seen4 live?

One, few month ago and it was one of the best evening I’ve ever had.

One of my friends made me listen  I need the sun to break and other 2 songs and I loved them so I started listening him but not all songs. This year he made a new album and I fell in love with his music.

1. What is/are your favorite name(s)? Why, if there’s a reason?

There are a lot of names that I like but for no particular reason, they just sound lovely to me and that’s all. From Lithuanian names I like more traditional ones, my favourites for girls are Eglė or Ieva, for boys I’d say Lukas or Matas. Choosing from Italian names my absolute favourite is Emilia (would totally change my name into this one or name my daughter like that) and from boy’s names I love Marco, Filippo, Matteo, Luca.

2. If you had to be turned into an animal for a day, which one would you choose?

I’d probably be a penguin. Because that’s my favourite animal and it would be really cool to be able to tolerate cold, also swim very well. And I’m clumsy anyway so I’d make a great penguin.

3. Is it better to be early or late?

Depends what are we talking about. If it’s something simple and related to time management like arriving for an appointment then I’d say early because I was raised like that and I was always told that it’s better to wait than make someone wait for you. But if we are talking about some deeper things like feelings or accomplishments, achieving goals I’d still say it’s better early. Feelings wear off and opportunities go wasted, time runs out so there is no better time than now. I know I sometimes paraphrase a Lithuanian saying and I jokingly say that if you can do something tomorrow, never do it right now, but please don’t listen to me.

4. Rate the last movie you watched.

The last movie I watched was “The Killing of a Sacred Deer” by Yorgos Lanthimos. And oh dear it’s 11/10. I absolutely loved it and Yorgos is a master of creating and most importantly keeping suspense and that psychological horror throughout the whole movie even though the characters are intimidatingly emotionless. Great choice of actors, very beautiful cast and the soundtrack was very wisely chosen, too. I also recommend seeing “Lobster” which was the first movie to give me a feeling I still can’t describe - I hated it as much as I loved it (and I loved it a lot)

5. Do you play an instrument? If not, which one would you like to play?

Oh my, the guitar I got for my 13th birthday is somewhere in the corner of the room, all covered in dust and all I know is probably only three chords. I’d love to learn to play it one day, but so far all my tries have been unsuccessful. Also, I love the piano and I’m trying to convince my cousin to teach me in return of checking / doing his homework and school projects. 

6. What is the craziest thing you’ve ever witnessed?

I really have no idea, sorry. My life is so not fun. 

7. What would your younger self think of you if you met?

Like, if she recognised me as the “older self”? She’d probably think that I’ve changed a lot and she’d be happy for that. She’d think that I’m brave and strong (which is not true, but compared to her it really seems so). She’d probably say “I thought you’d be prettier. But at least you’re smiling more now.” And I hope she’d offer me a bit of that childish happiness she still had. 

8. If you’re not in high school anymore, what do you miss about it? If you’re still in it, what won’t you miss once you’re out?

Honestly, I don’t miss anything from high school. Nothing at all. I absolutely hated it, it was terrible and I’m glad it’s over. University is such a different place and it’s waaaaaaaay better that high school.

9. What is one talent you wish you had – and one you do have?

Oh, I wish I had any kind of talent! Being able to write poetry would be cool. I’d love to have a lovely voice to sing, too. Sadly, I have no talents at all. Dancing? NO way. Singing? I feel sorry for my neighbours when I get the urge to sing loudly. Writing? Sadly, I’m no good at it. Drawing / painting? I wish.. (I’m such a loser, I’ve just noticed)

10. Name a song everyone should listen to in their lifetime.

Vietato morire - Ermal Meta. There are a lot of great songs worth listening to, but this is the one which had the biggest impact on me and hands down it is a masterpiece. The others I’m really fond of are Truce by twenty one pilots and Therapy by All Time Low. Those were the ones which led me though tough times and still give me chills. 

11. What are you passionate about?

In general, arts. First of all, literature and more specifically - Edgar Allan Poe. He’s my favourite author and I could talk about him and his works for hours. I love movies too, I admit I haven’t seen a lot of classics but I have a list of some great films I could recommend. I am very fascinated by sculpture, especially the works of Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Obviously, I love music and apart from those popular artists that I listen, I like some classics too. “Experience” and “I Giorni” by Ludovico Einaudi is a must-listen. I have never heard anything more beautiful, I swear.
