Hello Mod D! I’ve been running a store for a few years and was hoping to use the pentacles of Jupiter to increase revenue by a few thousand. So far I’ve properly made and consecrated the Second Pentacle of Jupiter (I figured the riches part would equate well with revenue) three times to no effect. I’m going to try again with the First Pentacle of Jupiter (for gaining business, more on the nose), but do you have any tips to not screwing it up not shown in Clavicula Salomonis?
My first instinct when things don’t work out the way I would hope them to is to divine, checking specifically which blocks are in place that are preventing my intended manifestation. I would check in with your spirits about what the pentacles are struggling against exactly. Offer to the local land spirits around your store, asking for peace and for the roads to greater prosperity to be opened to you. Ask them to bring customers with money to spare (that they are willing to part with) to you, that they call forth their footsteps over their domain and their attention through the air around them to your business.
Similarly, I would double up on the magic in general just to give it more breathing room and ways to manifest. I would keep the pentacles near the cash register and/or the main office, and enchant a set of lodestones as well to keep over them (and especially where the actual physical cash is kept). Consider making a money-drawing floor wash and sweeping the entire store with it, drawing seals or sigils for wealth and burning them, adding them to a Jovian and Mercurial powder, and dusting the doors and corners of the store with it. You can also place some combined with sugar underneath the welcome mat in case you have one, praying that those who enter are sweetened and that they open their purses to you. While Jupiter is excellent for building and growing your assets upon a stable foundation, I find that Mercury is especially powerful for the actual exchanging of goods and money, the flow of resources, and the spreading of your name through word of mouth.
You can make little wealth packets with coins and money-drawing roots and herbs, tie them up in red cloth (or planetary colours depending on what you’re doing) and keep them in the corners of the store, feeding them iron shavings if they have lodestones or magnets inside. Set up a small altar inside or immediately by the property for the local spirits and feed them weekly, asking that as you refresh and strengthen them, that they bring more customers to you. Start to work with a major spirit (whether planetary or even a saint) regularly and ask them to patron your business in exchange for incense, prayers, and other offerings. These are just a few options that come to mind that you can try out, but definitely check in first with divination in case there’s a bigger block that needs to be dealt with first.
I would also highly recommend Jason Miller’s “Financial Sorcery” book for more practical financial advice as well as tried and true magical techniques.
Best wishes!
- Mod D

The Blessing of Seed
Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation: in your goodness you have given us this seed to sow. In it we perceive the promise of life, the wonders of your creative love. By your blessing, let this seed be for us a sign of your creative power, that in sowing and watering, tending and watching, we may see the miracle of growth, and in due course reap a rich harvest. As this seed must die to give life, reveal to us the saving power of your Son, who died that we might live, and plant in us the good seed of your word. Blessed be God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Blessed be God for ever.
By itself the earth produces: first the stalk, then the ear, then the full grain shall appear.

ppl talk shit about catholics on this website but i think we need to give some hate to baptists. these bitches really looked at catholicism with its aesthetics and its statues and prayer beads and fancy baby baptism rituals and said "hmm... too Pagan for me" and literally traded it all for metal folding chairs in a building that looks like the backrooms
