basic premise is kyle stan and kenny run a paranormal investigation business where they’re trying to free the lost souls of south park from earth and into the afterlife. as u can see kenny is a ghost, his immortality curse finally broke ig. stan and kyle are both cursed to each free fifty ghosts in a year or else they’ll die, which is why they started this ghost hunting business in the first place. they live in stan’s shitty apartment for now and have to sleep on the singular mattress on the floor while kenny watches over them.

meanwhile cartman is scamming people by being a preacher/excorcist and “freeing people of their diseases” through “his faith in god” (he’s a faith healer). he’s forced butters to be his assistant in this scheme, and he has gotten quite rich from it. butters clearly isn’t very happy lmao.

these other two are more of supporting characters but wendy helps the boys with their ghost hunting when she can through science and stuff. meanwhile karen is desperately trying to find where her brother went (she doesn’t know he died).

also they are all 25 except for karen who’s 21
