i love oc x canon talia lore IM SCREAMMINGG analyzing my own work here LMFAO i didnt write it with these thoughts in mind but lets seeeee

the talia story is wrote is basically revolving around beliefs and desires, especially the desire to live and the recycling nature of life. yknow, wasteland of talia - everything gets recycled.

i do want to focus more on aventurine’s religious writing side, but im not very erhhhh good with that

i think the concept of the story im writing for them is heavily based on desires and religion, considering the heavy emphasis i put on the parallel between Avidity (fenrir’s clan) and the streetcar named desire LOL (however, the streetcar reference thing will come in another posttt)

context context, at the end of the talia quest, yk the oc quest that i wrote when there’s a big battle going on like how every quest ends lol. here, it would be revealed that fenrir is the final boss, after completing the little obsidian vampire ritual things with the scraps and turning into this big chimera monster thing and he got that cornerstone as well (boosted damage). he used the cornerstone, which he wasnt supposed to and how tf did he even do that

aventurine was supposed to use the cornerstone, yk joining the battle, but that would most likely cost him his life and fenrir - even know he knew that aventurine’s luck would save him, he still can’t bear to continue with the plan because that lingering chance of failure worry him too much

so aventurien was liek “ayo where tf my cornerst- FENRIR GET YO BUMASS HOME!!!” and he got snatched by the IPC to safety to return to work and fenrir out there smacking everyone

the “kiss” here, i wrote it to be implied but regardless it still symbolizes a form of betrayal because its wrapped in what should be a sign of devotion

fenrir’s “betrayal” isn’t driven by hatred, greed or other devious motives its from desperation. you know some form of love but it has been twisted. he wanted to save aventurine from a fate he believed to be inevitable and similar to judas, which is an obvious reference here, who believed he must to fulfill a necessary prophecy.

aventurine wouldve probably anticipated a betrayal from someone on his side, fenrir even. but with understanding there came trust, and in a game of gamble you cant trust - so aventurine put his trust on fenrirs love - “a dog known to betray his owner”. he had let his guard down too much and with a life like aventurine, letting your guard down is a guaranteed idk bad thing

i cant say for aventurine, but just headcanon and a sense that aventurine feels bad asf after that “betrayal”, having the very fragile connection that he held dear weaponized against him i think thats pretty serious idk man probably makes him feel greedy

but its both love and betrayal harharhahrr

aventurine’s the typa lad to be like “yeah ima be the final sacrifice, ill die for everyone” and then at the border to death he realized that everyone in question made him happy and he wished to be selfish and not make the sacrifice earlier because its too late to go back now

I come here to share with you an idea i had after seeing some stuff -

In other, more descriptive words, Raph gets stuck in Exo-Raph mode(It derives from Exoskeleton and is how i call Mystic Raph), but like a slightly bigger version from what we've seen and it was caused by triggered access energy build-up. He goes on a solo mission to find who cause it, till he find me, Insert, a 4th wall entity(aka a viewer), but it could also be y/n or a selfinsert if it's more up your alley. Raph really doesn't want to hurt anyone, nor does he want to be spotted like this, so he takes me hostage to prevent me from expositing him to the public. I try to tell him i can help him, but he from stress and paranoia wont hear me, so i figured that the plot/narrative has other plans for me and i make up a plan from that. And with that, i basically became company, a bonding buddy and a helper to Exo-Raph on his mission. The scenario becomes a comedic one due to other characters thinking i'm in need of help, but i'm actually vibing with him due to me being semi-desensitized to megalophobia. Also it will slowly become a big crossover with characters from other fandoms showing up -

Though, you did say that he grew slightly larger, so I just assume that you ment that Exo—Raph grew into a mini giant in this au (0‹ 0)

I use procrete to draw digitally currently

What program do you use to animate?

Oh boy! I don't animate much, but I use Flipaclip!!! And I'd like to use procrete or procrete dreams but my tablet literally cannot handle it haha

What brushes do you use?

The main brush set I use is this one:!!! It's really great but it does cost money.

So if you'd like a similar brush set but for free, I'd recommend theses!!! (I used to use them for a while!!)

What canvas size do you use?

I don't know- I don't usually plan to have a specific image size when drawing but they tend to be average 900×700 pix size .which I have no idea is a good size to have you drawing..erhhhh *shrugs*

What colour palette do you use?

I don't use colour palettes, I just pick colours I think look nice, and sometimes play around with layer settings. It would be cool if there was a specific palette I took from, because colouring can be a headache for me. But I usually guess what colours I use! :D

1/2 I’m sorry but I don’t think you should advertise the masks on redbubble. The masks that they are selling do not comply with health requirements regarding Covid-19 (they actually have a disclaimer on their website that they are not intended to prevent Covid-19). So basically, they are just very pretty but useless, and might actually do more harm than good as people will buy them and think that they, and the people around them are protected while in fact they are not... I adore your art but

2/2 I think redbubble is using artists to make money while risking people’s life to make a profit... I’m going to stick to buying phonecases and prints and shirts to support you and other artists! Trash Western Europe?

Aye guys, it’s Clarry and we have another discussion whether Western Europe left negative thinking and criticism during period 3 to world history as badly as Mr.Matt thinks. Apparently, it’s described as trash which I was like “Ok,chill sir lol” To be honest, it’s not gonna be that bad because it was such a magnificent civilization. So, guess like I have to dig down more information about Western Europe online for its downfall. So I do know that it was during the Late Middle Ages, the medieval period of European history between the fall of the Roman Empire and the beginning of the Renaissance, are sometimes referred to as the "Dark Ages.” Anything referred to dark, we assumed it’s bad. There are quite a few reasons presented to address the negative side of Western Europe. During the High Middle Ages, Western Europe developed one of the most impressive and successful civilizations the world had yet seen. If you think it was a civilization that was unable to collapse, you are wrong.

I believe that the main cause here is the “Dark Ages” Generally, the Dark Ages referred to the period of time ushered in by the fall of the Western Roman Empire. The Dark Ages were a tumultuous time. Roving horse-bound invaders charged the country sides. Religious conflicts arose; Muslims conquered lands. Scarcity of sound literature and cultural achievements marked these years; barbarous practices prevailed. Long distance trade shrank, the currency collapsed, the economy mostly reverted to barter, and the towns diminished in size. Literacy, and with it learning, all but vanished. Western European society was reshaped with the rise of self-sufficient estates, then of horse-soldiers, and finally of feudalism. Feudalism is a system was a domanial social in medieval Europe. The problem about this is it created a gap between two social classes: rich and poor. Feudalism doesn't treat people fair, they can't move up on society. As you can tell Feudalism doesn’t work very well. Although it provides security for local areas, it doesn't unit larger countries. Feudal government doesn't have enough money to do big projects, like building aqueducts, sewers, or fleets of ships for the military.

In the 14th century, a series of disasters took place in Western European civilization, eventually forcing major changes in Europe. The first disaster to hit Europe was famine. By 1300 Europeans were farming almost all the land they could cultivate. Climate changes in Europe produced three years of crop failures between 1315-17 because of excessive rain. Some of the agricultural success of the High Middle Ages had been due to improved whether conditions, what's called the Medieval Warm Period. Bad weather conditions meant bad harvests. Harvests were so bad farmers ended up eating their seed corn, and, with no seed to plant, future harvests weren't going to be much good either.  Food shortages led to widespread malnutrition, increased vulnerability to disease, and shorter life expectancy.

The worst of these diseases was the Black Death, a disease that hit around 1348 and, within a couple of years, wiped out 1/3 of Europe's people. In addition to killing lots of people, the Black Death had a lasting and very negative effect on medicine.  The Black Death was really three different diseases: Bubonic, Pneumonic, and Septicemia Plague.  Each form was spread in a different way: the first via rats and fleas, the second through the air, and the third through exchange of bodily fluids.  No wonder the doctors were mystified!  And, unfortunately, the disease tended to kill the best of the doctors, the ones who cared most about their patients. This opened the door to the medical charlatans, the miracle-cure pushers. So erhhhh, maybe it was called trash for a reasonable reason lol. The Mongol Empire collapsed for pretty much of the reasons listed above. I mean, every empire has come to an end anyway, it’s just how fast or slow. So yehhhh, baiiiii. - Clarry Nguyen
