westerosi circus? time for me to use all my circus town knowledge.

Helaena either gives off pierrot clown vibes OR someone that does the dog tricks. (animals in the circus is a touchy subject, but lets just pretend the targs are good to their animals and there's no exotics) Aegon is definitely a hobo clown ala emmet kelly but maybe styled more like a pathetic prince? Maybe an Aegon the older/Aegon the younger bit? Like Aegon the older is the sad pathetic foil to the polished and heroic younger? Luke, Jace, Baela and Rhaena are all part of The Flying Velaryons. Valaena was supposed to be part of The Flying Velaryons but nows she's a target girl- Aemond was a little lost until he realizes that his love of daggers could be an asset and definitely a distraction enough to pull Valaena into his act. I just know the sex afterwards is insane. Nyra gives me fire breather vibes who changes up her act depending on if she's pregnant or not. Daemon gives former equestrian turned Ring Master after Viserys retires. 100% still rides on his horse during the circus. Viserys when he was young did trick riding with Aemma, when he married Alicent (an investors daughter) she refused to join the circus and made him quit performing. Now he's exclusively business side and teaching Daemon and Nyra the ropes. Any of the kids that are too young to be performing actual acts have modified "kiddie" acts. tight rope walking only a few inches high, unicycles, juggling.

Yes to everything you said, the flying velaryons where Luke and Jace and Baela and rhaena teamed up, twisting like dragons through the air

Before aemond came on board, Valaena had her own acrobatic/trapeze (AERIAL SILKS PERHAPS??) routine with no net, just absolutely flying through the air in dazzling feats of flexibility with no fear and no gravity

Aemond joins so he can watch Valaena every night, but is messing around with daggers on the ground one night while she’s practicing around, she says something sassy while hanging upside down over him, he teasingly tosses one of the daggers at her (with COMPLETE confidence he won’t hit her, he’s really just that good) and watches her eyes go wide as the flies next to her ear, nearly cutting the silk she’s hanging from

It’d be quiet for a sec, as they both stare at each other, Valaena deftly dropping down a little further so she can see him better, another knife already in his hand, cutting her down for real so he can press the knife to her skin and test whether that look in her eyes is fear or excitement

McTier Art Joins NextLinks and Shinnecock Nation During U.S. Open This Week

SOUTHAMPTON, NY – In a partnership with the Shinnecock Nation, fans on hand for the 118th United States Open Championship at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club (Southampton, New York) will have the chance to view the vibrant golf artwork of Lucy and Jace McTier (McTier Art).

McTier Art will be showcasing its popular golf paintings through the NextLinks booth located a short walk from the U.S. Open Championship’s Train Station and the championship’s Gate 2. They will also unveil two new golf paintings this week in their collection during the U.S. Open Championship.

The Shinnecock Indian Nation worked closely with the United States Golf Association (USGA) to develop and provide the space that will be showcasing the McTier Artwork around the NextLinks interactive attraction.

The Shinnecock Nation has been part of the fabric at Shinnecock Hills since before 1896, when the second U.S. Open was played. The land was once owned by the Shinnecock Nation and the course was built by members of the Shinnecock Tribe. Since then the Shinnecock have been part of the club working as caddies and on the grounds crew. During past U.S. Open’s, the Shinnecock and USGA have worked together in a variety of ways to help the Shinnecock and this year is no different.

World renown sports artist, Jace McTier and portraitist, Lucy McTier, have been preserving and promoting the history and future of golf through their unique and beautiful paintings of the games greatest players including Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Lee Trevino to name a few. Their works of art will also include a depiction of the first round of golf played in America in Yonkers, NY, as well as the legendary Robert Tyre Jones Jr.’s first major win in the 1923 U.S. Open at Inwood Country Club in Inwood, NY.

The McTier artists have painted for presidents and sports superstars from around the globe for nearly half a century.

About McTier Artwork A portraitist since 1979, Lucy McTier’s work became nationally recognized when she had the opportunity to paint President Ronald Reagan in 1985 and present him with the portrait in the Oval office in the White House with her then five-year old son Jace, and husband David in 1985.

Lucy’s work is hanging in over 350 public and private collections, and in several gallery locations around the world. Her work is primarily in oil on linen, but she offers prints of her work as well. Her work includes wildlife, children’s illustrations, abstracts, realism large landscape/figurative works, religious and commissioned portraits.

Today, her son Jace David McTier is her colleague and partner continuing the family legacy of artwork. His first sporting painting was commission before the 1996 Equestrian Olympic trials when he was just 16 years old. In 2009, he teamed up with Angelo Dundee to recreate the history of boxing through the great trainer’s eyes. This included the “Phantom Punch” (or “Anchor Punch” that lifted Sonny Liston off the canvas and propelled Ali on his path to greatness), which has been displayed all over the world.

~ EA Show ~ Three of our riders and their horses completed at BRE 2nd Dressage show during the week and came back with amazing results. Rachel Stone (Silverwood) rode in the intermediate class with TJS Chesterfield, making his debt in Dressage performing a extension trot. Jace Stone and TJS Star made their debt in competition since arriving at Silverwood Equestrian a few months ago and completed in the beginner class (edited), taking out top place in the division. Our second place eventing pair Kajsa Rose & TJS Sunchip entered the dressage show to take a break from the eventing side in the Advanced class and coming back with a high result, not what they expected.

1 All of our Book's Pages Dog Eared (Equestrian!Jace x Farrier!Cregan, House of the Dragon)

Inspired by a friend's incredible fic that got me into Jacegan as a ship, a british take on hotd horsefic. My longest multi-chapter for a fandom, I'm so proud of it. Farrier!Cregan takes a temp job at the Red Keep working for world famous dressage rider Rhaenyra Targaryen. Gets more than he bargained for in the form of her eldest son...

2 Shield that Guards the Realms of Men (Gen - for now. Harwin Lives, House of the Dragon)

This was wholly inspired by the hotd season 2 trailer seeing jace and cregan at the wall, and ended up making me expand a little personal drabble about Harwin being sent to the wall rather than dying at Harrenhal. When Jace visits the wall with Lord Cregan Stark to gain favour for his mother's war, there's a familiar face waiting for him in the Lord Commander. (Planning a Chapter 2 with some Jacegan but i've not managed to get around to it yet)

3 The Princess, The Queen and the Prince Consort (Canon Divergent!Harwin x Rhaenyra, House of the Dragon, Episode rewrite)

A rewrite of that scene in 1x06, where Harwin gets to punch Crispy. Rewritten based off of a roleplay over on @scripturient-roleplay. What if Harwin and Rhaenyra had been able to marry, and he survived into the dance?

4 To The Sea We Shall Return (Canon Divergent!Harwin x Rhaenyra, House of the Dragon, Episode rewrite)

Another episode rewrite, this time 1x07, the funeral on driftmark and Aemond losing an eye. We see things go down from Harwin's POV. I had a lot of fun with this one! Again, based off of a roleplay over on @scripturient-roleplay. Rhaewin living their best lives.

I don't have anything else published, but honourable mention to the Rhaewin F1!AU that I posted here just for fun that's since become over 100 pages of google docs rambling.

                                                 Unexpected Visit 

Update (Third person POV) ~ Rachel’s receives a unexpected surprise visit from her brother, who she hasn’t seen for years. Tells him about the engagement, expecting him to be angry but receive a surprising gift from him.

I woken up in the morning after having the surprising shock phone call a few days ago, still felt a little weird after it. Jayden supported me over the next few days and trying to calm me down. I haven’t spend days around the horses, Jayden thought i might have given up equestrian. The last few days i was depressed and stressed.

I was sitting on the couch in the front living room, watching tv and look out of the window seeing some of our horses in the arena. We were growing in horse numbers and i glad we have two facilities running. Then the unexpected visit happen when the door bell ring. I saw Jayden went to open the front door, “Is this where i find a girl named Rachel”, i heard someone ask.

“Yes, come in, she in the living room”, i heard Jayden replied. I looked towards the entrance of the living room when i saw a unfamiliar man standing at the entrance, with brownish blonde long hair. I stood up, thinking who was this person, “Who are you”, i asked.

“I’m Jace Stone and i’m your brother”, Jace said when i smiled, i could felt tears wetting my cheek when i finally saw my brother again. He came up and gave me a tight hug when i started to cry and buried my head into his shirt, “I’m so happy to see you, can’t believe i had a brother this all time”, i said.

“Same too”, he replied when he looked at me again and touched my hand, that was when i could felt him touching my engagement ring, “Did you get biten by something”, he asked.

“Hmm no”, i replied, How was i supposed to tell him, i was going to wait until after, i thought.

He looked at my hand seeing the engagement ring, “Your engaged”, he asked.

“Yea surprise”, i replied.

“I heard you started a equestrian center”, he asked.

“Yes i have”, i replied, “Do you want to see what we been working on with our horses”.

“Sure”, he replied. After Jayden and i told Jace about a few of our mares being pregnant and we were expecting foals soon, we were pretty excited about it. We told him why we named our equestrian center ‘Silverwood Equestrian’. He was surprised on how many horses we have adopted in only a year and a bit of opening, how many facilities we had. I told Jace, we wanted to rebuild our facilities or given our current facities a makeover. I was shocked when he told us he could help us rebuild our facilities, we were pretty happy about it. I decided after i wanted him to stay in our Silverwood family and he agreed.

In the afternoon, Jace told me he had a surprise for me, waiting in the stables. I told him, Jayden and i were going to train two of our best horses; TJS Hot Legz and TJS Ninamch for a while, and i ask for him to join, which he did. We took our two horses to the stables and placed them in the arena to tack up while Jace went to the stables and grab my surprise gift.

After tacking up TJS Hot Legz, i looked over and saw Jace bring a chestnut mare into the arena, she was beautiful and very tall, “omg, you didn’t”, i asked.

“I did, a special gift for my younger sister”, he replied, “I heard about your old horse Stardust and i’m sorry to hear, i know you loved her so much”.

“It’s okay”, i replied.

“This is your new horse TJS Star, Hanoverian Chestnut mare”, he said, “I know she looks like Stardust but i want to give you a horse with the same personality and looks similar to Stardust”.

“Thank you”, i said as i came up and hug him again and got to know TJS Star, she was very friendly and generous. I loved her to bits. Jace decided he want to give it a try in the saddle, so i let him mount in TJS Hot Legz saddle, the stallion i been working with for months. I was surprised the boy were getting on so well. I decided to ride TJS Star and she was amazing, I was surprised Jace knew a bit about horse riding <3 <3 <3
