Solas x Macha (Qunari Female)

The Fade rippled around him, eerie silence, shadowed forms. The forest scene was too precise and void of life, save the windless ripples upon the lake.

“Stop playing games, kossith, it has been a long day.” Instead of staying in the trees as he normally did, playing up his role as dread, he gracefully made his way out into the clearing. Silver light from the sister moons caused his armour to glint, the fur on his shoulders to glow. If the Inquisitor was going to play games after all this time, he would end it here.

Ripples spread, large and hungry across the argent lake, upon its shore they soon break. In a swirl of mist and fade Macha coalesces, her horns twisted and sharp. Eyes shifting between green and gold, fade and ancient. Her face seems to be caught between anguish and defiance at the insult uttered.

At the sight of her, Solas suppressed a twitch of surprise, eyes and brow shifting in scrutiny. 

“I was correct, it was you that visited me that night, tempting me away from my path.” Motioning at her hala horns with a careless wave. Arching a brow she grinned, fangs glinting. Moving closer she inspected her claws. 

“I’m sorry, Solas,” she  canted her head to the side, I didn't realize you would have picked up on that so quickly.

 She moved to caress his chin,  but he tilted his head away at the last moment, denying her the chance to ensnare him.

 “You are absolutely inseparable, Macha.  You take the guise of desire, and yet you only had to ask.”

She clicked her teeth, her grin shifting to  sultry pout. “It was your own pride that conjured the form of desire. I much prefer delight. Though I must say the Dread Wolf's eyes are quite pretty when he's sated, his ego fed.”

Solas  grasped her hand, entwining fingers with elegant claws. “My hunger is far from sated. And you appear far more true to form than prior rendezvous.”

She's scoffed, her voice light and full of mirth. “I am as I appear nothing more, nothing less. An object of desire called to you and this fade conjured realm.” She raised their hands to her lips, brushing soft kisses to his knuckles, jade eyes watching him intently.

“I know from the weight on my horns, the scent of scotch on your breath and the warm flush on my cheeks,” she paused as his eyes darkened, his  tongue darting our to wet his lips. “Should we wake now, I would be in your chambers,” He swallowed hard, breath catching.

“And I am sure,” she raised on her toes, lips nearly touching. “We are right where we want to be.” 

Solas closed the distance between them in a rush, a snarl of desperation in his throat.

The Fade bled around them as they came too, the fire crackling in his fireplace, her hands on his thighs, his hands at the base of her curled horns, fingers tangled in her hair.
