Drama yang penuh emosional antara kedekatan ayah dan anak perempuan sebagai penculik dan korban. Drama ini sebenarnya punya alur yang sederhana namun dikemas dengan sangat kompleks. Jujur di episode awal menuju pertengahan alur ceritanya memang agak membingungkan, meskipun hanya tertuju pada satu pertanyaan.

Meskipun dua tokoh utama ini bukan dari keluarga kandung, malah terjebak dalam cerita hubungan ayah dan anak yang berbau kriminal, namun emosi mereka berdua cukup bikin perasaan campur aduk. Drama ini ga hanya menceritakan tentang penculik (ayah) dan korban (anak perempuan), tapi juga terdapat unsur bisnis kesehatan.

Ketika drama ini udah mau nyampe klimaksnya, aku pas nonton ngerasa drama ini punya vibes yang sama kayak Mouse secara alur cerita, terutama bagian bisnis kesehatannya. Drama ini sangat bagus secara alur, namun sayangnya beberapa scene tidak tampak continuity. Ya meskipun ga terlalu ngeh kalo ga diperhatiin, tapi menurutku itu agak menganggu kebentuknya emosi sebagai penonton waktu nonton drama ini.

I know a lot of ppl hate Gabi, (and again she did bash that guard’s head with the brick in order to escape)

BUT, she has been brainwashed and trained to think that the Eldians on Paradis are the devils for as long as they live. Only when she was interacting with Kaya was she able to realize the flaw in her thinking.

Gabi believed the people in Paradis were still responsible for the tragedy that happened thousands of years ago, and she’s still holding their descendants responsible for something their ancestors did. but to her, they’re all the same. I personally think this is realistic. Now you can see how Kaya was telling her how her mom was born on the island, and she died 4 years ago, she couldn’t have been responsible for the destruction on Marley, or the destruction that happened thousands of years ago. Gabi is starting to realize this too and you can sort of see it in her expression. I feel like she’s slowly changing. 

We know Falco is starting to see the story from both sides, and I believe he would play a big role too in Gabi’s resolve. 

ALSO, Isayama made Falco and Gabi meet that family for a reason. 

but yes this episode was just so well made 👌 fuck all the haters who said this episode was boring
