#and the more confidently a breeder posts about their dogs' health the more suspicious i get because USUALLY#it means theres a lot they havent checked#OR that they're overstating the things they have vs the things they havent and the things they can't check#there is always something and if someone tells you there isnt they they either dont wanna tell you or they dont know#there is always a recessive something or a sibling with dysplasia or granddad that died at 6 or a heart murmur cousin#epilepsy in the 3rd generation a wonky vertebrae near the back row#or a half sibling that died young from a bizarre set of symptoms the questions are#does it form a pattern. and how is it weighed
